Indeed. We just always forget God but it shouldn’t be that way. We must remember Him all the time in prosperity, in failures, and in joyous moments.

Struggled to fight battles or even lost some to sin? Do you approach God boldly and “pray without ceasing” as the Bible encourages us to do? Let’s explore the answers to these and more in today’s video. #GodTheFather #JesusChrist #HolySpirit #Bible #Christianity #FSSPodcast #Episode49 #turntoGod #temptation #Proverbs #1Corinthians #Ecclesiastes #fearGod #obeyHiscommands https://www.instagram.com/p/Bzy0anBF3jD/?igshid=1lx615prt1e

Inst@nt Messages with Aidee... 06/01/19 Noah was righteous, blameless and walked with God. He had not seen rain, but he built an ark to preserve mankind. Noah gathered in the animals as the Lord commanded him. He listened and *obeyed*. That *obedience* saved eight people and scores of animals from a flood that has never been duplicated. The Bible says; Noah did according to all that the Lord had commanded him. (Genesis 7:5) This year and beyond, If we want to be blessed, We ought to obey God's word that we hear. Noah is a remarkable example of *obedience* in the wake of a demanding situation. He learned how to *obey* and who to *obey*. We can preserve ourselves and our families by doing what the Lord commands today and always! *IM: OBEY ME* Lovely Sunday Yours truly, Aidee🙏✌ #instantquotes #instadailyquote #dailyfacts dailynuggets #inspirationalbulkets #instasunday #motivationsunday #obey #obeygodsword #obeyhisword #obeyandbeblessed #obeyhiscommands #Hiswordoursword #itallmakessense👌 https://www.instagram.com/p/BsR4RDrg20h/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=17xd9glzsbhu6

Understanding can wait, but obedience can't m. Instant obedience will teach you more about God. In fact, you will never understand some commands until you obey them first. Obedience unlocks understanding. #Day9 #9OutOf40 #PurposeDrivenLife #ObeyHisCommands #ThankYouJesus 🙌🏼🙏🏼✝

“Be careful that you do not forget the Lord your God, failing to observe his commands, his laws and his decrees that I am giving you this day.” - Deuteronomy 8:11
Some other preachers or writers title this verse as, “The Dangers of Prosperity,” because as we can read the verse, we are being reminded of not forgetting about God. Although this does not only mean that we are progressing, this is much more likely in that context. Even if we deny it or not, we forget God all the time. May it be in success, failures, or even sad days. We always just tend to forget God and make Him our last option.
One of the dangers of not being bound with the truth, joy, and satisfaction in God is our capability to walk away from God. We don’t like staying at one place and we hate it so much when we are being put into a situation where we have to choose or where we have to thank anyone for our success because we always think that if it’s our success, then it’s our success, not of someone else's. However, we have to understand that our success and our prosperity come from God.
That is why we have this verse today that even if it was written many years ago, it still applies to our time right now. Many times we have owned God’s victories as ours but we never give Him much credit. Now, we are reminded to always remember God and be careful not to forget Him. We must not forget to follow Him, obey Him and His commands because our God is a jealous God and a holy God.
We must remember that it is true that He is loving, merciful, and gracious but He is holy too. Indeed, He has given us Christ so our salvation will be based on His good works, not from the law and our good works. However, we must also remember that truly understanding our salvation means changes. It means changes in terms of obedience and following. Where before it was hard for us to obey and follow God, now we have the power to do so because of Christ.
Therefore, we must remember not to forget God and obey His commands. It is not just because He wants to control our lives, but because He wants us to fear Him. He deserves all glory, honor, and respect. It is just right for us to fear Him and to bless His holy name. Now, it is indeed hard to remember God during our prosperity, our success, or even at our lowest part, but let us always remember Him and know that without Him we will be nothing. Our successes are caused by His blessings and success, and our failures are His appointments to bring us closer to Him. Thus, we must really not forget Him and obey His commands.
