here's a little snippet from the next chapter of on a pillow of blue bonnets!!

He wishes he could just reach inside of Remus’s head and pull out his thoughts, just for a second, just so he could know if he’s crazy to think his crush could be reciprocated or not. He doesn’t even feel the need to do anything about it, not after all the talking they did about things after their near kiss in the laundry room, and not after what James said about it getting messy. Remus said, when they were clearing the air, that he cared for Sirius platonically. Platonically. If that’s true, it’s okay–but it just doesn’t seem like it is. Sirius has never once seen Remus linger near Lily’s ear to tell her anything innocuous. Remus always just says what he wants to tell her out loud. He’s never seen Remus brush his hand over Marlene’s when he hands her a book or a tool or her boots or anything. Sirius has instigated that move on his own a few times, but he isn’t the only one doing it, and it just seems…intentional. Sometimes. He thinks.

I know it’s been a long time and that’s a long time still, but I’ve needed the hiatus to get things done and work on a few other things, but it’s almost time to get back on it.
