people who don't understand why we ship chief and shalom is ridiculous i mean..if you look closely almost every sinners somehow lost their sanity when it comes to chief 🤷

i think it's less of not understanding and more of people just enjoying the aesthetic of sharahu more. a prev anon had a theory that sharahu attracts more fans because its dynamic is so clear cut it's almost like gender roles 2.0 again. ok maybe that's kinda harsh but you get where i'm coming from, sharahu has that classic short femme x tall butch thing going on that is everywhere in popular yuri. as for the second half of your ask, i think most sinners have an excellent and intriguing dynamic with chief (with shalom, it's learning to love; with zoya, it's finding an equal; with adela, it's learning to be vulnerable; etc) which is why more often than not i enjoy sinner x chief pairings more than sinner x sinner pairings, though there are a few stand out ones like yaoxu or oakraven. these are just my rambling thoughts though lol

Daryun & Narsus - based on ‘Another Time’ by Eugene Ames Baker

One of our LARP locations (Oakraven, UK) has this framed ‘Another Time’ by Eugene Ames Baker in one of the rooms. I’ve liked it since I first saw it a few years ago and I’ve finally got round to getting this Heroic Legend of Arslan fanart based on it out of my system.

I looked up more of Eugene Ames Baker’s work and I love how they seem to belong to one story with recurring characters.
