Olivia had never been so glad that a case was over and done. The paperwork alone had been a nightmare. Especially with more than the NYPD having stakes in this operation going right. She had finished the last of the paperwork, and she'd desperately needed a drink. With Noah spending the night at his friend's house, she didn't have to rush home. It was one of the few nights that she could stop by the bar and have a drink without feeling guilty of spending even more time away from Noah.

As she stepped into the bar, she glanced at the bar itself to see what the seating was like. Finding a couple of emtpy seats near the end of the bar near the pool tables, she perched on one and flagged down the bartender. After ordering herself a glace of her favorite wine, she tried to let herself relax. She looked around, taking in the atmosphere and to see if she recognized anyone.

She instantly caught sight of a familiar face. Her name was Jo Portman, if she recalled correctly. After she paid for her glass of wine, she picked up her drink and headed to the booth that the other woman occupied. "Hey. I thought you'd be anxious to get a flight and leave town after all that." She offered a smile as she stood at the table's edge, not sitting down until she got an invite. She'd only intended to come and say hi.

This is an Aesthetics & Ask Blog for an original character written by Lanna. It is not meant for full RP threads, but anyone is welcome to send in an ask to interact.

TL;DR

Originally came from wealth and was confident she'd stay that way until her inheritance was yanked out from under her.

Ran away from home as a result of the above shortly after graduating high school; had no choice but to resort to relying on sugar daddies and what was essentially sex work.

Managed to pull herself out of sex work as her primary job by early-mid twenties, getting a job as a waitress at a cafe and leasing a tiny studio apartment nearby.

Still leans on boyfriends, sugar daddies, and occasional sex work (albeit safter via OnlyFans type venues) to buy herself nice things

VICES & VIRTUES

Confident enough not to take anyone's shit. She prefers designer labels, but knows she could look hot in a paper bag.

Despite never going to class, Celene did her homework and took her education seriously when she believed she would receive her inheritance; she had intended to take business school more seriously.

Holds a lot of value in her body, as it's never failed to help her get what she wanted (or needed) before. Takes care of herself very well if you exclude the alcoholism.

Exploits men and takes pleasure in doing so. She flirted with her stepmother's brother when she was a teenager, and when he excitedly reciprocated, showed off the texts to piss said stepmother off.

Has the capacity to be kind, especially to younger women, but keeps most folks at a distance. Not interested in romance or commitments; she "aspires to be the 1%."

MULTIPLE LIVES

MAIN. A waitress/hostess at a cafe called the Red Orbit in NYC.

NYPD. A detective in the SVU, potentially open to bribes.

BAD TEACHER. A substitute teacher at a high school who clearly shouldn't be influencing young minds.

WIZARDING WORLD (Anti JKR). An American Auror who "teaches" at Hogwarts as a Dueling Instructor, because she doesn't have the credentials to be a professor.

Prezesem organizacji jest obecnie Donna Zabo, dla której po kilku latach pełnienia swojej funkcji, jest to już ostatnia gala.

Podczas uroczystości wręczono tradycyjnie dwa wyróżnienia:

tytuł Pulaskian of the Year 2023 otrzymał Konsul Generalny RP w Nowym Jorku Adrian Kubicki, za swoją postawę, działalność, a także zaangażowanie w krzewienie więzi z Polakami w NYPD, a także, za umocnienie współpracy pomiędzy nowojorską a polską policją. Szczególnie podkreślano działalność Konsulatu w trudnym czasie pandemii, a także, wkład Konsula Kubickiego, w ukazanie historii tzw. "first responders" polskiego pochodzenia, z czasów ataku na World Trade Center w 20 rocznicę zamachu.  Michael J. Buczek Pulaski Association Medal for Valor - na cześć polskiego policjanta, który poległ na służbie w NYPD - przyznano porucznikowi Timothy Brovakos, za jego spektakularnie skuteczną pracę w NYPD. Wśród gości uroczystość byli również obecni i byli członkowie organizacji, wielu zaprzyjaźnionych policjantów - w tym z Chicago, a także, przedstawiciele NYPD. Stepping into the small shop, she looked around, her uncertainty clear on her face as she glanced around at the multitude of bottles that lined the shelves as well as the herbs hanging from the ceiling almost too low to walk under. The slightest of frowns took to the blonde's features, but she did trust her staff. They wouldn't still be working in her house if she didn't. So she walked through the shop until she got to the somewhat low set counter. "Hello?"

Sara wouldn't admit to it, but she gave the tiniest of jumps when a wild head of red hair popped up from behind the counter. Drawing in a slow deep breath through her nose, the woman gave a light smile to the freckled woman on the other side of the counter. Irish folks weren't terribly common, or at least those that didn't try to tame their accents, but thankfully her father had raised her to believe that a person was a person and only the lord had right to judge them. "I was informed that I might find a powder that doesn't smell of chemicals to help my corset rash." Were she a weaker willed woman, she likely would have been much to flustered to speak of such things in a shop where anyone could here. As it were, Sara figured that it was a problem most women faced and thus saw no embarrassment from speaking of it.

Immogene and Raphael

1. In which TMNT universe does your pairing exist?

Bayverse, but years later. The turtles are now a Spec Ops unit of the NYPD. They are in they early 40’s and late 30’s. Mutants are more common but tend to keep a very low profile.

2. Introduce us to your OTP.

Immogene (pronounced Imogen) or Gen Waters - She is 42 years old (in this universe), although her age varies depending on the RP or story I have her in. 5’11” and curvy (Ashley Graham is who I use for her body type). Long wavy curly red mahogany hair, tattoos that cover more than half of the left hand side of her body disguise the scarring she has. Her eyes are emerald green and she has fair skin. Within her genes is the blood of an ancient race, known as the Amazons.

Immogene is known for her wit and sometimes sharp tongue. Her skill with a bow and arrow is unparalleled. She is an artist and likes to work on her motorcycle. Kind and softhearted, though she guards her heart fiercely, Immogene has few that are close. Her personality is a mix of class and sass. Some nick names that she’s earned over the years (from various Raphael’s) are: Firecracker, Tiger, Princess (Raphael is the only one to call her that), Iron Butterfly and Candy Apple Vixen. She can be fierce when pushed or when needed. She’s not necessarily empathetic but she picks up on feelings easily. Immogene is often referred to as a badass, feisty and a sweetheart.

*Side Note - I have been often asked if I created an OC that would match Raphael. This question, rather than irritate me, makes me smile. Immogene is me, with very few differences. I choose to have her as an OC to keep my fantasies separate from my reality. In truth, when I first wrote my story, I was attracted to both Leo’s and Raph’s personalities. But, the more I played with them, the more I started leaning towards Raphael. I’ve RP’d with many ‘Raph’s’ over the years and I honestly feel the greatest connection with the Brute. So, rather than me ‘creating’ someone for him, he is actually…the perfect match for me (I’d like to add I support all ships). When this question pops up…I honestly take it as the highest compliment.

Raphael Hamato - He is 40 years old. 6’9, extremely muscular and large with it. His left arm is covered in a sleeve which depicts traditional Japanese imagery. Although he still has his famous temper, he’s learned to use it and fine tuned himself. Raphael is the rogue of the four. He occasionally takes missions with his brothers, but often seeks the ones that no one else wants to do. His brothers never know when he’ll show up for family dinners. He was the last of his brothers to take a mate.

3. How did they meet?

Oruko Saki in this universe is a billionaire tycoon. His alter ego (The Shredder), reigns in terror over the citizens of NYC. He is a collector of fine arts and priceless artifacts.

Seeing the art of Immogene Waters, he decided he had to have it…and the artist herself. Saki arranged to be an anonymous benefactor of her art to get her to NYC.

On the night of the attempted kidnapping Raphael happened to be in the neighbourhood and rescued her. At the time he had been impressed with the fight the woman had put up against the fiend. Although, she hadn’t left the scene unscathed.

Raphael made the decision to bring her back to the ‘lair’, which was now an entire apartment building complex where all the brothers lived. His decision had surprised everyone, including himself. There was something about those green eyes of hers.

Of course, the first time she saw him she startled, but reasoning took over and she realized this behemoth had rescued her.

Through happenstance and an unusual like for each others company, they got to know each other. Raphael discovered she somehow had a calming influence on him. All she had to do was walk into the room and his shoulders would visibly relax. She also had a tendency to challenge him with that tongue of hers. There was also the no end to his amusement with how she stood up to him.

Immogene found someone who accepted her. Who naturally understood her. His actions speaking louder than words. Underneath this brutish figure was a large heart. She, bit by bit softened towards him, letting him past the protection she had around her heart.

4. How is the relationship now?

Immogene and Raphael have an unbreakable bond. They banter together and get so much enjoyment out of it. She’s soft where he’s hard. They have similar dispositions but in ways that balance each other. Nothing soothes him like the way she says his name or when she caresses his jaw.

She’s never felt as safe as she does in his arms. A look from across the room between them speaks volumes. Raphael has always teetered on the edge of going one step too far. It’s what makes him so effective. Immogene keeps him on the side of good. With him, she has found her home. He his her home for a piece of her heart lives within his and vice versa for him. It’s the reason why I chose the image I did. Water and fire. When they meet it’s a blending of the two elements, unless it’s in the bedroom. Then the reaction more…explosive.

6. Do they get married or have any kids?

For the first part of the question, yes, they do eventually get married. It’s a private ceremony between the two of them. For the second part, I will say no, but will not reveal the reason why. There is the chance that this answer could come out in an RP I have, and I’m saving it for that.

7. What is your favorite thing about this pairing? Gush as much as you want!!!

Oh boy. Gushing. Here it comes. I love every single damn thing about this pairing. The way they fit together, the love they have for each other. How they crave each others touch. The way each says the others name. The passion they share. Good grief. *fans self*

The way they tease each other *grins*. They both get so much enjoyment out of it. In a way…it’s a subtle, or not so subtle (depending on who else is in the room), of flirting or even foreplay.

The both of them are unabashedly themselves, with each other they’ve found that one that gets and accepts them exactly the way they are. To this day, it still surprises Raphael that no matter what level of rage he’s in, a look, a touch or her even just softly saying his name can remove that red haze.

Raphael removed the shadows from her eyes. And the thing was, he did without really trying. He was being himself. It just happened to be everything she needed, Brute and all.

Raphael and Immogene. Two souls collided and did not become one, but a blend of the two. Although they are separate…it can be seen that they are intertwined so thoroughly, it would be impossible to untangle them.

First and foremost in this AU, the turtles do not live in the sewer. They live in a modern home given to them by the NYPD which so happens to be set in a forest in upstate new York.

You must be 18+ to interact with my turtles. This is NSFW blog and not for children. You may come back when you have reached legal age. If I find out otherwise you will be blocked and no one wants that.

In order to be considered for an RP you must have a repour with the guys. You cannot come in new and expect a relationship right off the bat. The turtles and mun need to get to know you and your style before one is considered.

Do not send in RP starters without prior consent, they will be deleted.

Asks are always open. Come in and say Hi, depending on your responses they can turn into small threads.

Hello! So excited you want to join us! We've tried our best to detail some ideas for you — so as for what we'd like to see, we would adore to welcome:

More members of The Brotherhood — we have a variety of open spots there, and it would be great to see them taken. Besides our last Underboss role, it would be especially interesting to have arm dealers members, henchmen, lawyers, medics, and bookkeepers. Someone with a revolutionary spirit who stands by their ideals and shares their sense of community, as that is very in line with what The Brotherhood is.

More members of The Cartel — we also have a variety of open spots there, and we'd love to see more of them around. Besides our Boss and Underboss roles, it would be especially interesting to have drug traffickers, manufacturers, dealers, henchmen, and bookkeepers. From starting drug dealers to the mega experienced; from someone just trying to make ends meet to those really wanting to make their mark, or get a cut of this empire.

More of the NYPD — there, it would be incredible to see more cops/detectives taken (bonus points if non-corrupt!), as well as criminal profilers and people in forensics. With the gang situation being in the state that it is, this could be your heroic-inclined character who wants to dedicate their lives to making the city better, or your jaded personality who has seen enough and little bothers them now. Maybe corruption even got to them, as it has to so many.

Within The Syndicate — while we have a good number of assassin-oriented characters, it would be fantastic to see more members of The Syndicate that branch out from that. Besides our Boss, positions like forgers, cleaners, intelligence, con-artists, information-brokers, those in the blackmarket, etc. We are very open to giving more pointers through messages, too! Here, feel free to bring your career criminal (bonus points if incarcerated before!), your specialists, your focused professionals, that person who blends smoothly into the shadows.

Within government — it would be amazing to have our Mayor taken, as well crisis managers. The political side of things is as fiery as the rest, and those two roles would complete our government team perfectly!

Television characters — while we have a good number of print media characters, it would be really fun to see more TV oriented characters taken like producers, news anchors, hosts, and reporters.

Besides that, we have an array of wonderful wanted connections here that our members would love to see taken! <3
