Evenios is actually very good at writing. He likes to write short stories, but never really shows them to anyone. Only one who has ever really got to read his stories is his sister Elia.

Ligeia is actually very good at painting. She especially likes painting portraits. She also likes sketching, but prefers actually painting.

Nynia is very self conscious about the burn scar on her face. Especially people asking about it makes her feel very uneasy, but she tries to hide it the best she can.

1. Meanest VS Kindest

The meanest is definitely Valeria. She is not one to think about others’ emotions much, and overall can be pretty damn mean. The kindest would be Nynia. She is always looking after others and wishes only the best to almost everyone.

10. Biggest eater VS Lightest eater

The biggest eater is Quinn. He isn’t even very large in size, where does all that food always go? It is a mystery. Lightest eater is Ligeia. Probably mostly because she is very picky about her food.

11. Most ticklish VS Cruellest tickler

Most ticklish is Drew. There is not much anything to say about it. Don’t tickle the poor boy. Cruellest tickler is Elia. It’s horrible.

12. Brainiest VS Brawniest

Brainiest is a tie between Cosmas and Evenios. They are both very clever and have studied a lot. Brawniest is either Quinn or Drew. 

21. Most religious VS Most atheistic

None of my OCs are suprisingly very religious, but if I had to say one, it would be Nynia. She does believe in the Maker but the way Chantry treats mages troubles her. Most atheistic is clearly Valeria. She has troubles believing in any kind of higher power.

OCs that Don’t Flirt: Cosmas Etlet, Elia Travanti

Quinn Aviles:

Okay so. When not in a relationship, Quinn flirts constantly with almost everyone (he’s been punched kinda hard by Val a few times so he has left her alone). He will tell dumb puns and use the most ridiculous pickup lines. His main goal is to make the person laugh, and he is usually pretty good at it. He’ll compliment the person he is interested in a lot. Also he’ll play guitar and sing for you. Also also finger guns.

Darrow Keir:

Darrow is the kind of person who doesn’t realize his actions seem like he is flirting with someone - he just likes to give compliments when he sees there is a real reason for those. When he does realize he is interested in someone and wants to let them know, he would do stuff like buy them flowers and make them their favorite food. Drew can also draw, and he’d definitely flirt by drawing a potrait of the person he is interested in. He is a good man who will take care of your taxes and treat you right.

Nynia Aviles:

Nynia is the most awkward flirter ever. If she tries to flirt, it will most likely seem very odd. However, if she likes someone and is not trying to flirt, it will probably show with her being extra caring and worrying about that person (more than she worries about everyone, she is a precious angel). If someone tries to flirt with her, she’ll either get very flustered or not get what is going on.

Evenios Travanti:

Even’s flirting is pretty subtle, at least at first. He is more of a listener than a speaker. When he is in a relationship, he’ll write his LI poems and love letters and other small notes. He is good at reading people, so if his LI seems even a little upset, he’ll be sure to ask if they want to talk about it or if he can help with anything.

Valeria Anthis:

This woman does not really flirt. She is (almost always) not interested in getting a long time relationsip, but one-night stands and aquintances-with-benefits are not uncommon for her. She is more often than not the one who is approached rather than the one approaching - a person approaching Valeria will get a) a very enjoyable time or b) a black eye.

Ligeia Sagona:

Ligeia’s style to flirt is very direct and she isn’t trying to hide it. She’s all about winks, light touches and blowing kisses sort of things. Ligeia is pretty picky when it comes to who she flirts with, so she doesn’t flirt super often.

Afternoon tea interrupted

So,,, I wrote this short drabble last night after 12am so give me mercy. Quinn and Nynia belong to me, Methodius is @mage-apostate‘s amazing OC.

"I'M A FATHER!"

The young man's enthusiastic declaration caused Nynia to spit out her tea. Methodius, on the other side of the small table, looked like he was choking on his drink. "You're a what now?" Nynia managed to ask while wiping away the tea she spilled on her dress - she gave up quickly. She would have to wash the dress after this.

Quinn had a wide smile on his face - it made Nynia feel uneasy. Usually it meant he had some 'great idea' that would cause chaos everywhere around him. "I just told you! I am a father", he repeated, now overly slowly, emphasizing the last word.

Before either Nynia or Methodius could comment anything else, he continued. "I was on this mission and blah blah - it was boring, getting rid of some bandits - and then I found him. A baby wyvern, just hatched!" Quinn's face was beaming with joy. "I took him back to Skyhold with me! His name is Lizard!"

Lizard? Nynia resisted the urge to slap her palm against her forehead.

"Quinn, you know you can't keep him, right? Wyverns eat, well, people", Methodius pointed out just before Nynia got the chance. It was like talking to a child, she took a mental note. The tone of his voice sounded like he had had this kind of conversations with Quinn before. Nynia was glad there had been someone dealing with her idiot brother while she... Hadn't been able to.

Quinn looked hurt. "Lizard would never! He is a nice wyvern. You could not possibly be so cold blooded that you'd separate a father and his son", he said in a theatrical voice, slamming his hand against his chest. "It- I mean, he, is a wild animal", the young qunari tried to reason - with no success. "You can't say that, you haven't even met him yet. Neither of you know my son like I do", Quinn declared. Nynia deadpanned.

"I am disappointed you reacted like this. My sister I understand, she has never been any fun - but you, Meth", he continued, sounding like Methodius had greatly betrayed him. "My dear friend, and even you don't accept my son. Him and I are alone in this world then, I see", Quinn said - the trembling of his voice was clearly fake.

Nynia was about to open her mouth again, but her brother stopped her with rising his hand in the air. "Silence! I want to hear no more of this slander. I shall raise him alone", he stated, took two steps back exiting the room, and slammed the door closed.

The half elven mage sighed. "I am so sorry", she apologized to Methodius. The young man didn't look straight into the girl's eyes, but he looked confused. "For what?" "For you having to put up with him before I came here. Honestly, if he wasn't my brother, I would have thrown him into the sea by now."

There was a noise somewhere outside the door – something hitting the ground? – followed by a muffled scream. Quinn had probably tripped in the stairs.

💅 What are some things they have strong opinions about?

Cosmas has a rather strong opinion about almost everything. One of the strongest ones is the belief that mages should not be locked in a tower like some monsters, but to be treated equally, educated and raised with hope instead of fear. The empty place inside a mage where freedom should be is easily filled with bitterness and desperation - a mage is not a monster, but the Circle surely is a perfect environment for them to become one.

He also thinks Andrastian religion shouldn’t have such a strong effect on everything. People should be allowed to believe in what they want without judging, and politics and religion should be kept apart from each other. 

💋 What traits do they like in other people? What traits do they not like? 

Valeria likes efficiency, determination and loyalty. If you promise to do something, you do it - if you’re not going to do it, don’t promise you will. Val appreciates straightforwardness and quick-thinking. 

She dislikes indecisiveness, hypocracy and manipulation. The latter expecially when coming from an authority of some sort. She is rather violent person and definitely not very warm herself, but she despises people who hurt the defenseless with no real reason.

⛄ What’s their favorite season and why?

Nynia loves the spring. The way everything in nature wakes up after the long, dark winter. It’s not too cold anymore but not yet too warm either. The air smells fresher and more alive. The sun stays up longer, granting more daylight - as a person who doesn’t like the dark, Nynia enjoys this. She feels like the spring is always a new beginning, a chance to become better.

- Nynia’s mother was an elven servant and her father was a Fereldan human noble. When her mother became pregnant, she found out that the child’s father wanted to kill the child once it was born. Upon learning this she stole some jewelry from the estate and fled to Orlais. 

- She has one sibling – a twin brother Quinn.

- When the twins were older, they discovered that Nynia had magic - the small family kept this as a secret since their mother didn't trust the circle or the chantry and didn't want to send her daughter away.

- Unfortunately, a templar saw the girl healing a horse’s injured ankle on day when she had just turned 14 – Nynia was taken away to the circle.

- Nynia never had any problems with controlling her magic before going to the Circle – he had had a loving family and no encounters with demons in her dreams. However, when she moved to the Circle, it changed.

- She was very lonely and insecure. It started as whispers in her sleep, but soon she began seeing more and more nightmares. Nynia didn’t tell anyone about them, she knew it would mean trouble – so she endured, using her free time by writing letters to her brother and mother. None of the letters were ever sent.

- The first few years she spent in the Circle she was feeling very suicidal.

- She was around 16 when she got the scar – she was trying to harm herself by burning her wrists and arms but got distracted and accidentally burned her left cheek. She has other burn scars around her legs and arms.

- After that things began to look up when she befriended an elven mage called Mathias. They ended up being in a secret relationship for almost a year – then Mathias was made tranquil. Nynia never found out why.

- She went through her Harrowing when she turned 21.

- When the Circles rebelled, Nynia left the mages to go looking for her mother and brother.

Feeling 👐SURPRISED  

Basic survival tips: Do not surprise Valeria. She will stab you. She does not get surprised easily though, so that makes it easier to follow that tip. 

However, if and when she actually is surprised (and doesn’t stab you), she’ll try to act like she wasn’t. She’ll just brush it off and play it cool.

Once after a late evening in the tavern, Valeria ended up sleeping in Svo’s room again - it was much closer to their drinking place. She woke up to a scream. It took a second for her to realise it had been hers. Nightmares weren’t anything unusual, but this was the first time she had had one this bad when not sleeping in her own room alone. 

She was quite ready to hear some sarcastic comment from Svo who seemed to have awaken too - however, there wasn’t one. “You okay?” he just mumbled half-asleep. Valeria nodded and the man continued his sleep like nothing unusual had happened.

The woman was surprised. She was very relieved she didn’t have to start explaining anything or hear any comments. Somehow she felt like she could sleep the rest of the night without nightmares.

Nynia Aviles

Feeling ❌JEALOUS

It isn’t typical for Nynia to get jealous - if she does, however, it is usually about a particular person close to her spending more time with someone else. Instead of being grumpy or angry at anyone, she just begins to feel sad. Her jealousy very easily turns into sadness and self-blame. If she feels jealous, she just begins to feel guilty for being jealous.

Quinn Aviles

Feeling 🍃CONFUSED

When Quinn is confused, he loses the ability to use complete sentences. At first he’ll get frustrated, but then he usually eventually finds a way to make a joke about the situation that made him confused. Asking for clarification to some situations might be a bit hard for his ego, so it it is not uncommon for Quinn to be confused.

Feeling 💕IN LOVE

In love Darrow is very protective of his LI and wants to make sure they are okay at all times. He’ll also need some reassurance that the person he loves loves him back, or he might get a bit anxious.

His fingers are long, there are always small bruises from training on his skin, he closes his eyes when he laughs really hard, he starts fidgeting when he is bored, he loves climbing, he can’t swim and he loves all kinds of animals (he tried having a wyvern as a pet once) and gets along with them quite well.

fragrance: what do your OCs smell like?

Quinn smells like the mix between a forest in the morning after a storm and something that just can’t be pinned down. Is it musk? No-one can really say. Mostly he smells pleasant enough, though. Just not right after training.

contact: how does your OC(s) feel about touch/physical contact? are they affectionate? if so, how do they display affection to others?

He is. Very. Affectionate. He loves hugging his friends, ruffling their hair (this he does mostly to Nynia), patting people’s backs, just really all kinds of physical contact. Fortunately he is rather good at reading people, so if someone seems to be uncomfortable with this sort of behavior, he knows not to do it with the specific person.

Nynia

shooting star: if your OC(s) could have one wish what would it be? 

For a long time, Nynia’s one wish would have been that she’d been born without magic - this way she could have stayed with her brother and mother instead of being taken to the Circle. These days the wish would probably be that she was powerful enough to protect all her loved ones.

conspiracy theory: what are your OC’s beliefs? are they skeptics or do they believe easily? who acts on blind faith? who needs to see to believe?

She is very skeptical about everything. She does not believe anything if she is not given sound proof about the thing in question - but this only applies to bigger things, such as religions. Nynia is always up for a conversation about how griffons are not actually extinct and how Grey Wardens are just hiding them somewhere.

Nynia too often blames herself if something goes wrong. She always feels like if she had done something better, something more, things would be different. This applies to many situations. She also has this bad habit of often forgetting to eat - she’ll just literally pass out and then realize that the last time she ate was like two days ago.

hobby: what do they love? what captivates them? what are their passions?

Val loves alcohol, fighting and being left alone - at least if someone asks her this. Then there are some things she would never admit liking - listening to music and singing along, listening to people tell stories and just sitting somewhere alone with a friend.

But she does still love alcohol and fighting, though. Very much.

fragrance: what do your OCs smell like?

She smells like lilies and spices, but the scent is often mixed with alcohol or/and blood. 

interiors: describe your OC(s) bedroom/home/or a place they consider “theirs”. what’s in it? do certain items have a special significance to your OC?

Valeria pretty much considers the whole Skyhold as her home, but she does also have a small room in the fortress where she sleeps and stores all her belongings. She keeps it very tidy and organized. The room has a large bed, a drawer, a small closet and a wooden box under her bed where she keeps the few things she has of her parents.

For Quinn and Nynia, Psyche? :)

psyche: what’s their head space like? do they have any mental illnesses? how do they process difficult or emotional situations? what are their coping mechanisms?

Quinn

Quinn is surprisingly mentally stable. Despite not having the easiest past, he doesn’t suffer from any mental illnesses. Meanwhile he is a total drama queen and will take any chance to act as theatrical as possible, it is actually quite hard to really upset him. However, when Quinn encounters a difficult situation, he usually tries to deal with it by using humor. 

Nynia

Nynia hasn’t been as lucky with avoiding mental health issues as her brother. When she was taken to the Circle, she had much more problems fighting against depression than against demons. She was very lonely and missed her family. This caused her to burn herself several times and even attempt a suicide. She however got a bit better after about three years in the Circle when she finally got a friend - a healer who helped her tend the burn wound on her cheek. Even though the burn left a scar, Nynia was happy that it helped her meet her first friend. 

These days the girl is still very withdrawn with her emotions. She is quite shy and prefers to hide it if she is feeling down or hurt. She doesn’t really have any good coping mechanisms other than crying her eyes out at night. She Needs Help.
