Nate isn’t the most social person in the world, so he’d prefer something more low key. Maybe something cliche like dinner and a movie. Or he’d like to go somewhere neat like the zoo or aquarium or something to just walk around and talk.

He’s never actually had a big massive heartbreak before? He’s never had a serious enough relationship for it. I guess you could classify his pet fish dying as the first big one lol.
