And there's this twitch around her eyes. The air starts flickering around her cause magic.

"No, Varric, I am not dealing with the mess one of my god's caused. I am not. I REFUSE. I AM OUT. Retired. No. Thank you!"

Davrin just pushes Assan into her arms and she basically has to breathe into griffin fur not to have a bit of a nervous breakdown

Because of course I am thinking about Solas. How can I not think about his Messed up wolf ass.

And my WardenInquisitor. Because I will never forget the moment where they were in Skyhold and Nydhena was feeling down and lonely always cut off from her people but so long gone from them who was she even that on those steps in Skyhold she looked at Solas and there was a connection of more. Of what could have been.

But Nydhena is of course head over heels in love with Loghain and Solas and her do have to many differences about what they think about the dalish but they are still friends who break each others heart.

Pspspsp @deedeemactir I forgot to tell you about this when I refused my solasmancer claim. You have no idea how close I once came

Yes, WardenInquisitor Nydhena strongarming the Inquisition to put Loghain in the Commander position is funny.

However, it occured to me today that her rolling up much later with Loghain in tow (let's say as a warden contact) is so much funnier. Like the fabled Hero of Ferelden, here to unmess the Warden shit and her political disaster of a boyfriend come to maybe also unmess the warden shit (here is hoping).

I just love the mental image. Josie gets a headache just thinking about the political implications. Even better if Nydhena also brings her bestie blood mage Jowan (or her bestie abomination Anders lol).

Would it be mean to make my WardenInquisitor Nydhena do a rook play through? Because my girl was already so fucking tired after saving Ferelden, she sort of dragged herself through inqusition and then a other ten years later she has to do it again.

Like yes it would be mean. She‘d be tired but she is in her heart someone who believes in saving those who can’t defend themselves so she will do it if it grinds her to dust

Sometimes I forget that Nydhena had the persuasion perk tree all maxed out. She was the most silver tongued mage there is. She could talk you into believing the sky was purple.

I miss you persuasion tree. I miss you making my mages versatile. I miss you DAO skills

Thinking about Nydhena and Loghain when they're send to pick up Blackwall and neither of them calls him out when meeting the man, they just exchange one of those couple glances, because they know he's full of shit.

And then when they're back at Haven, they corner the poor man behind the barn and are like 'Okay, buddy, we know you're not a real warden. So spill it, what the fuck?!"

Blackwall stands there terrified, but not sure if he's supposed to be more scared of the tiny elf warden commander who reaches just past his chest or the mountain of a man behind her who has his arms crossed and is just glaring.

Most entertaining mental image. For reference, he should be more afraid of Nydhena

Saw a post that made me think „Nydhena and Loghain having a baby would be so cute“ which is… well it would be cute and it‘s the first time I thought that and canonically it‘s never going to happen cause Nydhena has too much trauma, I don’t want that for her character and the blight +2 makes it highly improbable.

But it would be a very cute baby and actual daddy Loghain is always a cute thing to think about

Then again Callie and Loghain have a baby (who is crown Princess to the Orlesian throne) so I have one canon where Loghain has a cute kid

I think it‘s never not funny how Nydhena managed to talk Loghain into doing the dark ritual. Like „I know we barely know each other but we’re sort of friends right and I need you to fuck my other friend so we don’t die“ like what.

Also pretty sure if Nydhena wasn’t 100% more stubborn than Loghain he would have taken the risk of sacrifice but he did not want to risk Nydhena dying

Randomly thought about what type of drivers some of the DA crew would be. Here’s what I came up with while sitting in my own car for like 7 hours:

Loghain: calm & steady, but no time for bullshit

Nydhena: will drive like she never got her license but she did

Jowan: don’t let him drive a car

Zevran: a rollercoaster would be a better idea to ride with than him

Varric: rode rage

Dorian: fast & furious (but also don’t get a scratch in his nice car)

Leliana: fast but controlled

Josie: sticks to the rules unless she got the German autobahn unlimited sign and then she‘s off with a speed that scares everyone

That moment when you suck at playing Dragon Age Origins and you play a Surana for cool magic but it‘s not as cool as you thought (cause I Suck at this) so I turn her into that elven battle mage thing and she got better armour stats and tanks and solo carries the fight against Flemeth

It was iconic. In dalish armour no less. Still thinking about it so often

For the fact that I played Nydhena as a silver tongue, friendly sunshine who was tired of killing people in origins I realize she is way too good at killing people.

Like she’s the classic sunshine who‘s actually super dark and had such a messed up past. I love her so much

Thinking about Nydhena who reaches up to Loghain‘s chest but whenever someone’s a bitch about Loghain being there with her, she absolutely squares up to tear whoever dares insult her man a new one
