It’s freezing out and I actually don’t give a damn because FRESH AIR!!! After spending the last couple of weeks in bed sick I welcome this, even if it is like being slapped in the face. So, what have I missed the last couple of weeks while my best friend was made out of porcelain?

I’m taking a trip to clear my head.

I’m not exactly sure where, but I’m bound to find a place in the next couple of days.

There’s some thoughts and feelings that really seem to make recovery hard.  I’m struggling with this silly paranoia or something.  I keep feeling that there are things that I don’t know, or that maybe I’m still kept in the dark.

My doctors have suggested I take this trip to clear my head, sort of like some meditation retreat.  If there are any emergencies or anything, you know where to find me.  Just understand, this isn’t me leaving the family, this is me taking time to figure out what next steps I should make.

You know those days when you wake up and you just have this feeling that today is going to suck? Well, that’s how my day started and I don’t say this very often, but I hate it when I’m right. I’m in need of a very LARGE glass of wine right now.

It feels like forever since I’ve seen all of my family. Everybody’s off doing their own thing and I just feel so disconnected from everybody.

Nothing worse than waking up with a killer headache, and then realizing today is Christmas...and I don’t remember the last two days.  At all.
