★ MESERVE. delphine hadn't really enjoyed how she had behaved around derek in her earlier days. it wasn't the best version of herself. so, she's distanced from mostly everyone else. mostly because she didn't want to repeat this. to relive history one more time.

the icy blue beta was perched on the bench of a picnic table that'd seen better days, thoughtlessly gnawing at the straw of her milkshake.

ears picked up the sound of approaching footsteps, though she's too distracted to acknowledge in the moment.

the phone he held in his hand buzzed with a text from his twin, though he was sure stiles didn't know who this was in the first place. but the text read that stiles was there, waiting to meet. he had texted him earlier and convinced him to meet up which was quite suspicious, but he was sure that stiles would be in for a surprise the minute he showed up. and as he neared, he grew nervous but he had to bite back that nervousness. as he arrived to the meeting spot, he immediately spotted his twin brother leaning against the powder blue jeep that he vaguely remembers their mother driving it. so that must mean it was passed down to him and she must have gotten a new one. right? ❝ i never thought she would let this go, honestly. ❞ he spoke up, his gaze on the jeep before he turned his attention to his twin.

❝ w'at are ye starin' at, boy? ❞ the irishman questioned, arching a brow at him. the kid was just staring with his mouth wide and honestly, part of him doesn't care for it, but the other part of him is a little uncomfortable about it. but he wasn't going to say anything to the kid.

"  Extraordinary. . ." pine-green optics had to see it to believe it -- but the expectation were equal to zero. Whispers about a creature that belongs in horror novels around the laboratory were almost dismissed,yet the same curiosity that killed the cat brought the she-wolf here. Ironic choice of words.

Clare came closer to the cage,stepping out of the cover of the shadows. As soon as she saw the man surrounded by iron bars and stripped from dignity, grief attacked the chest. There was a quiet sympathy and compassion for the things bathed in darkness and mystery. So misunderstood, what many fear. "  I am not here to harm you. " for a person  stripped from politeness, there was nothing but good intentions dripping from the smoky voice. "  Are you in pain? "

"Have you seen yourself?" he muttered mostly under his breath as the light switched on, what was supposed to be a surprise for Stiles, turned out to be questioned. "What the..." he trailed off as he looked around the room. "This....isn't supposed to look like this..." He muttered.

☆ MCCALL. the true alpha has been having difficulty concentrating. he hated that, hated it so much. here he was, supposed to be studying for exams, but his mind is on one thing. one person.

his mom abruptly brings him back around by announcing she's off to work and won't be home until tomorrow night; as she'd agreed to work a triple. he'll drop off fresh scrubs and food to her later.

making sure the house is locked up; he decides to go on a brisk run. this doesn't end up being brisk and by the time he stops himself, it's almost midnight.

he spots a very familiar jeep nearby, realizing just where he is. bringing up his contacts, he phones the number one in his speed dial.

‘ hey, know it's late... didn't wake you, did i? ’

the sight of his twin brother had caused him to pause in his steps, watching him for a brief moment before he inhaled deeply and exhaled slowly, approaching his twin brother. ❝ you reek of anxiety. ❞ he finally spoke up after a moment of silence.

Melissa rubbed her temples as she stared at the document on her clipboard, trying to make heads or tales of what she was seeing. Of all the things she has seen, this one was a new one for her. She shook her head and glanced up at her computer to input all the information and even googling to find out what possible supernatural might be in town.

"Well... that's just great... now what do I do?" She sighed as she still had yet to be picked up. "Ask for help and get ghosted." She muttered, frowning as she moved from the post and started down the street.
