Why BSIT? 

1. The pressure I will feel if I push my dream course, especially the tuition fee. What if I realized in the mid way that it isn’t what I wanted or maybe I can.t even survive, edi sayang pag paaral sa akin. So I had to choose a course na meron sa NVSU, kasi libre tuition don.

2. So when I will take entrance exam na in NVSU, sabi nila sarado na daw kasi may date na nakaset and they cannot entertain us. Edi back to main-plan, the Architecture... I still tried to push my dream course, I even take the entrance exam and nearly enrolled myself. I was so happy and nervous back then. Pasakay na ako sa jeep, as in hawak ko na yung jeep... But then, NVSU texted me saying pwede na daw akong magentrance exam. 

3. Nung time na to, kung saan na lang ako dalhin ng kapalaran e, pero nung time na yon, kinailangan ko na talagang magdecide. Tapos may pressure kasi hinihintay ako ni kuya ko kung tutuloy ba ako sasakay ng jeep papuntang SMU para mag enroll o hahatid ako sa NVSU para mag entrance exam.

4. I had to choose, take risk or play it safe. Yung dream future ko na walang kasiguraduhan or gawan ko ng paraan para win-win. win-win in a sense na hindi na mag hihirap sina mama financially and kaya kong gawan ng paraan para may kalalagyan ako. 

5. So, nag entrance exam ako. I need to think of a course na madaling makahanap ng trabaho at madaling maka graduate. Sabi ko office, yung kahit anong office work tatanggapin ako, BSIT na lang. BSIT is about computer naman di ba. 

6. BSIT. Surprise! Hindi lang siya about computer. Code code pala hahahaha pero okay lang naman. 3rd year college na ako ngayon. Kung hindi ako magiging hamak na programmer, baka mag apply ako sa gobyerno or any na related sa office parin. See? may sasalo pa rin.

Day 18

Unfortunately, we did not do anything today because the vets and staff of NIZ were attending a 2 day seminar. We just stayed at the library and finished the requirements that we needed to submit to the HR department by the end of the week. 

Day 19

Today, we were stationed at the GenePool farm.  The first agenda for the day was to observe Sir Otep do Artificial Insemination in the carabaos. There, we met two other interns from NVSU, Ruth and Arianne. He told us that water buffaloes does not easily get pregnant. He also gave us a brief discussion of the ovarian cycle that undergoes within the water buffalo.  After insemination, we addressed the lameness of one carabao by injecting it with tolfenamic acid and multivitamins. We then went to Theodore, our patient during our week at the Gene Pool and he was still not looking good. We gave him a bath to relieve him from the dirt that is covering his body.

In the calf barn, electrolytes in warm water was given to a calf that was suffering from indigestion. After that, we injected the calves that are to be transferred into another pen with Duramectin and Iron supplement. They are due to be transferred into the big pens where they will be housed together. Most of them are 3.5-4 mos in age. Before transferring the calves, we cleaned their pens and applied disinfectants. They were to be weighed-in first before they can be transferred and the calves, given that it was their first time being restrained and stepping on the concrete floor were very active and we had a hard time restraining and transferring them into the pens. It was a very tiring yet awesome day at the farm! :)

Tapos, naging tambayan namin yan, naging friends ko yung mga tambay na yan hahaha masaya naman, nakakatuwa kase hindi sila pumapasok. Di ko rin alam na nagtransfer na pala si Orlie jan sa NVSU non, SMU talaga kasi siya kaso di pumapasok (pero pati naman sa NVSU wala pa rin) so yon naging close ko yung pinaka-crush ko nung junior high. Pero first year lang ako mapunta jan, nung second year e madalang na lang kase nakalandian ko si Orlie e masyadong masakit mga pangyayare HAHAHAHA nakalipas na ng ilang taon pero si Orlie ang pinaka ayaw kong sumasagi sa isip ko. Alam mo yung naiinis na lang ako bigla at nalulungkot para sa sarili ko.

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya, March 4 (PIA) - Former Governor Ruth Padilla has been chosen as the Officer-In-Charge of the Nueva Vizcaya State University (NVSU) here

Padilla’s designation came after University President Andres Taguiam filed his retirement last month.

Padilla, who was unanimously chosen by her fellow Board of Regents also served as the National President of the Philippine Nurses Association (PNA) and the province’s Governor for one term.

“I am deeply honored and humbled that I was chosen for this position. Rest assured that I will do my best for the organization where I was chosen to serve,” she said.

Padilla was sworn to office yesterday by Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Commissioner Lilian Delas Llagas.

She will serve as NVSU OIC until a new University President will be chosen.

NVSU officials said they were amazed on the sudden retirement of the former president who was reportedly vying for his second term as university head. (MDCT/BME/PIA 2-Nueva Vizcaya)

Si aliza, financially yata. (Insert si Renz, nasa comshop. Except si Pearl, bumisita lang. Insert na rin siguro sina haya at kenneth, di lang namin masyadong nakakasama)

Di ko inexpect to. Magkakaibigan na kami nung mga yan nung junior high, almost lahat kaming magbabarkada sa SMU nagsenior high.

tapos nung 1st day, nagkita kita kami sa school, di namin alam na NVSU pala kami mag aaral na apat. Tapos, matindin pa, magkakaparehas kaming course hahahaha pero di nakayanan nila josua at budoy, hanggang 1st year lang sila. Kami na lang ni Renz natira sa BSIT.

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya, December 18 (PIA) - The provincial government here recently accommodated at least 75 college students anew through its 'SAGUT' Scholarship Program.

The 75 beneficiaries of the 'SAGUT' Scholarship Program represents the third batch of scholars granted with scholarship benefits which also include books, uniforms and living allowance for their schooling.

Ma. Jonem Gacad, SAGUT Scholarship Program coordinator, said the new batch of scholars will be enrolled at the Nueva Vizcaya State University (NVSU).

"These are deserving college students who belong to poor families but eager to sacrifice and maintain their required academic records to pursue their respective courses," she said.
