As a kid, I would always talk to a higher power; call it God, call it the universe...all I know is that it's greater than myself and when I connect, it brings me comfort. - In the past few months, I feel like I've been pummeled by a series of unrelenting waves. I've been doing my best to ride these waves of change and find that praying, meditating, practicing yoga and gratitude help me A LOT. - Every day, I say “thank you” and write down what I'm grateful for. I also find myself going back to the Serenity prayer - my favorite ever since childhood: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ God, grant me the serenity To accept the things I cannot change, Courage to change the things I can, And wisdom to know the difference. - How about you?
