CACF analysis for #NPCOMMS week 4.

The organization Coalition for Asian American children and families (CACF) was founded in 1986 by a group of volunteers who concerned that New York City’s health, education, and human service institutions could not adequately serve the growing number of Asian American families. It later incorporated in 1992 and hired the first executive director in 1995. The organization accepts both volunteers and donations. Currently, it has a lot of supporters including big corporations like American Express, AT&T, Time Inc, Walmart and foundations like Asian American Federation; it also gains support from some government departments such as New York City Council.

The mission of the Coalition for Asian American Children and Families (CACF) seeks to improve the quality of life for the New York City Asian Pacific American children and families. CACF promotes awareness of cultural values, linguistic differences, and immigration issues. All events in CACF work around this theme. It is very consistent with its brand and core mission.

On their website, the photo of Asian faces and families attract those people who care about this community. The website clearly and efficiently describes their goal, their need, their upcoming event, contact information and any other support information that guest may be interested. An independent sector of donation makes people have an easy way to make a contribution to them.
