Face to Face || Kurt and Blaine

Kurt flipped his fedora on his head as he exited the subway and looked over at Blaine, a soft smile on his face. They’d taken then L to Tompkins Square Park and had a short walk to the restaurant.  Much to his chagrin, the speakeasy that Isabelle had told them about wasn’t exactly a dinner theatre type space for the patrons, but he’d at least wore a fedora since he wasn’t doing the whole Roarin’ Twenties attire.  “From what Isabelle said, We have to go into the Crif Dog’s and then go to the phone booth,” Kurt said and slid his arm through Blaine’s as they walked. He glanced over at Blaine again and nudged his shoulder, “Are you nervous about officially having dinner with Isabelle?” he asked.  He’d noticed Blaine fidgeting a little as they were getting ready for the evening. Kurt knew that Blaine had met Isabelle before, even if the moment was brief, but this was a whole new ballgame. They were going to actually going to talk to her about wedding venues and ask if she would officiate the wedding.  He gave Blaine’s arm a squeeze and stopped at the corner of the street, then turned towards his fiancé and gripped his blazer on either side, “You know she likes you, right?”
