For the first time ever, my hometown's school system removed Columbus day as a holiday!!!!!
This is HUGE for this area!!!!
#i was wondering why my friends' kids in other cities had tomorrow off#then realized tomorrow is columbus day#looked at our district website and saw that we are no longer celebrating it here#now they better stick with that attitude bc if they teach my kid that columbus discovered america#im going up to the school and going off im not kidding#he already knows it's wrong ive explained it#.bdo
