i do believe howard reani 3 woulda been a salvagable character if he was just utilized completely differently and handled by a better writer. like the actor did okay. he looks like malcolm's oldest brother but i don't have particular beef with him.

#lots of things in reani 3 are like....#ah there's almost a motif there #rats in the walls/the prison and rat parrallels #now the fake science this time is goddamn atrocious and i will not stand for it #where was i. right. electroshock therapy to electric chair metaphor #howard's character like CONCEPTUALLY...#if he was rewritten in the world of gays to have a psychosexual obsession with herb #instead of having one with his dead sister for some reason #considering herbert's the sole reason he did do MEDICAL SCHOOL..that's not a NORMAL amount of obsession with a person #ah also the fact they casually drop the information herbert spent years in the hole.
