Id litterally rather die than be a beginner at something
#no offense but if i never learn any new hobbys im okay with that#cause like#what worse than not knowing something? being seen as a beginner#now thats not saying if a begginner comes up to me asking for advice that id say no#its saying that id rather die than be concidered a begginer#which is why ill never learn anything new:#ie: skateboarding. pottery. crochet. resin#but also i feel like people really look down on begginers just in general#like it takes years to be good at some things and thats so overwhelming and then people who took those years of training#have this rightfully earbed idea that because they practicsd for years theyre better and have earned the right to talk shit#and they answer things like 'what advice do you have' with just 'practice!'#not ti mention most crafts take years of time and effort and MONEY#so people without the money to invest cant learn or people without resources or people witg#with long job hours#and then it becomes 'if youre really pationate youll find a way' but no!#what is there to be pationate about if you barely know how to do two stitches in a scarf#but whatever#rant over
