One of the things I've been toying around with is the concept of, instead of Leo advising CJ to hire Cliff Calley, Leo advising CJ to hire Angela Blake as her DCOS after Josh leaves. Cause they say she was Leo's second in command at the labor department (when Leo was still using drugs and went to rehab), Angela's been the one he called twice before when the White House was in trouble, and we know she's willing to give up a pretty cushy job to come work for the President.

I know she was written into the show at a point most people hate (for fair reasons), and in a role directly opposing Josh in a way, so she bothers people. But honestly she has both that excitement to the job and be at the White House, and that no-bullshit attitude where she both knows what's possible and knows when to stop fighting lest you lose more. She's less impulsive/hot-headed and unpredictable than Josh or Cliff, and I think that's something that could mesh with CJ very well in that new position when everything and everyone else starts becoming less and less reliable.

(I also just love that one of Angela's first actions is to bring Donna to the table and genuinely ask for her opinions and insights, making her feel like a valuable member in the discussion with something to contribute. And I would love to somehow see her in the DCOS position interacting with Bonnie and Carol and Ginger?)

Hear me out! I have been thinking about this since I started to see a lot of smoker Suguru fanart. Now I don't know why there's a lot of that and my guess is because Suguru had a lighter on hand for Shoko. Again I don't know!

But I've been thinking!

What if Suguru doesn't smoke? What if he was the friend that always had what you needed at that time?

Shoko smokes, so Suguru could carry a lighter with him. Probably carries hair ties and clips for those with longer hair like himself. Maybe sweet treats on hands because Satoru needs the sugar.

He just comes off as that kind of person to me.

crossed the street without my younger sister accidentally (I thought she was right behind me) so when I reached the other side and saw she was still waiting on the other side she yelled, "Why did you leave me?!" in like the same exact voice as Powder and I nearly had a heart attack on the curb.

so, I stopped doing one meal I day, because I kind of notice that eating absolutely nothing until 7 pm and then all the food for the day was kind of slowly turning into binging every single night until I'm physically sick and being hungry all day every day. which is not the goal and probably not ideal for weight loss

anyway, I've been calorie counting which has been going pretty well expect my brain has still decided that 8 pm = binge time, and been really annoying to try to unlearn that. I go to bed at 10, so it's not that long, and it will probably only take a few weeks to unlearn that habit , but in the mean time I am mildly uncomfortable which is basically the same thing as dying I'm pretty sure

One of the things I adore the most about Jinhsi's name (about the Hsī part, more specifically) is that it's implicitly tied to the moon. Not because her name means "night tides / waves", but because these are conditioned by the gravitational pull of the moon. Gotta love how accurate is all the night / moon imagery about her.

i think i will say... if you pursue Trigun... you're gonna suffer~ but you're gonna... enjoy... it????? (i would assume lol) it is full of comedy and fun, cool action and gun fights, kindness and joy~ but also CRUSHING SADNESS. so~ that's my take on it? XD (but i am also VERY bias) it's in my top 10 anime of all time; for what that's worth. but probably in my top 3 emotionally-foundational anime? i'd probably say~ jump in with the 2023 adaptation, and if you fall in love, choose your own adventure as far as whether to watch the 90's anime or read the Trigun Maximum manga. either is good X3 (or both. both is also good!)

then again! i am also easily moved to tears and am torturously full of empathy and inability to remain unaffected by IMAGINARY THINGS ((O W O)) so also just assume i'm a jellyfish and the average person might have no feels at all about any of it????
