Miss the "asshole space captain with a heart of gold goes in space adventures" anime era, even though it's older than myself.
#I mean: Outlaw Star... Irresponsible Captain Taylor... some other less known animes... I guess Dirty Pair also counts#Captain Harlock Legend of the Galactic Heroes and even Cowboy Bebop for the more serious takes#now it's all just copypasted fantasy isekais#and still in modern sci fi anime there's not that distant city light aesthetic thing I can't describe but it feels so good to see#cosas mias
