Honestly, it feels like Xia Yizhou/Ha Uju/Caleb/Mahiru is the development team's favorite, but I still think Xavier is meant to be the default. To some degree!

Not only in the stuff he gets and the way he's introduced in the story, but realistically? I do kind of see how the guys all look like Final Fantasy VII (Remake/Rebirth specifically) characters. And honestly? MC looks like Tifa in her default design. And the game makes so much sense as a VII R project AU, but even more as a Cloud x Tifa fic where Tifa just happens to get a side harem!
