uhh hello!! sorry if this is a tall order LOL but I wanna ask, do you have any narilamb fanfic recs? :D I already read yours and I really like bamsara’s and I’m waiting for epicaandk’s to update (that one is my fav ever <3) but idk what to read now lol
Tall order?? Naaaaah, I'm always happy to give recs. Oh boy, I'm gonna go in reverse chronological order.
If you've read all of my narilamb fics (have you seriously? I'm impressed, that's probably well over half the 150k+ I've written for this damn fandom. Also, to anyone seeing this from a reblog, my stuff is over at onethirdofimpossible!) then here we go!
You already mentioned it, but The Rehabilitation of Death is excellent so far! This one is by @bamsara who is new to the CotL fandom but apparently not new to fanfic writing; they have a really popular FNAF fic and I assume the well-deserved attention this fic's been getting is a byproduct of the popularity they've already gotten in other fandoms. :D Welcome, bamsara! Many of the fic writers in this fandom are friends with each other already, but we don't bite if you wanna say hi.
Feel No Evil and Language Barrier, both by @payasita. I always love how payasita portrays this duo (in both digital art and writing), with so much sass and repressed loneliness, knowing they're stuck together for eternity and making the best of it. (And maybe falling in love, depending on how dense Narinder keeps being.) What makes these come alive for me is how well thought out the setting is outside the Lamb and Narinder. The descriptions and weight of emotions really pop here.
LITERALLY ANYTHING written by pavi / @i-eat-deodorant. Depending on how spicy you want your fics to be he has even more here. Character analysis, diction, pacing, etc. are consistently 10/10. Top-quality banter between a sassy Lamb and tired old man Narinder. We constantly bounce ideas off each other and inspire each other a lot but I promise I'm not hyping him up just because he's my friend oh my god please just go bless your eyes.
It Was For You, O Death by blueberry-muffin-massacre (if they have a tumblr, let me know so I can tag!). An intriguing alternative ending to the final battle wherein the Lamb chooses a secret third option by refusing to give up the Red Crown and still observing Narinder as the God of Death. So many details are so well thought out and duality their relationship is nicely characterized-- both genuine care for each other and also quite unhealthy. A fine line treaded well!
Confessional by jusmove (again, lmk if they have a tumblr). Been a while since I've read it, but I love how the Lamb chips at Narinder's very carefully built emotional walls. Their personalities are very well fleshed out here, especially Narinder's cognitive dissonance at being able to process love.
Confession by @thewitchoftheweed. I didn't expect a part two to this one, but my god I was so thrilled when it did update. Narinder and Lamb with their unique and parallel loneliness and their fucked-up sense of everything. Their relationship is very rocky here, and I love how they navigate it: with tension and eventual, pained acceptance. Mind the rating.
Of Character Development and Being Dense by @calliecature. A short and sweet narilamb classic. They're both mutually pining and one of them is too emotionally repressed to realize it. Guess who.
Not An Offering, But a Gift by @checkplzjuliet. Small confession fic. I especially love how Narinder's descriptions twist the knife of his situation here, and how Lambert is a total foil for him! There are a lot of good things happening in such a short span, which is impressive.
Also, if you think you've read all my narilamb fics... I do have a secret one out there too. Just so you know.
Happy reading!
I'm already friends with many of the people here, but if any of the writers I've tagged have been kinda wanting to reach out for a while but feel a little anxious... Don't be. I've made my best friends in this fandom by literally just waiting for some of my readers to get over whatever assumption they have that I'm cool and say hi. Or being the more confident one first.

12/30/2023 DAB Chronological Transcription
Revelation 12-18
Welcome to Daily Audio Bible Chronological. I'm Jill. Today is the 30th day of December, welcome everybody. We are counting just a couple of days down until we celebrate, acknowledge, sit with, recognize and honor the newness of a brand new year and that means here a brand new journey through the word of God starting from the very beginning. And we're going to do that in a couple of days, but right now we're here and we're going to center ourselves around the word of God. We're reading Revelation 12 through 18 today and just a couple days left in the Evangelical Heritage version. Revelation chapter 12.
Prayer:
Jesus we thank you for your word. I thank you that as we get ready to end this journey in this chapter of this year that we have had together in your word, we would turn the page, we would know the hope and welcome the possibility of all that it is you long to do in us through your word as we take the next step forward. In this journey we have lost some along the way- they have fallen off, or got tired, got discouraged, got distracted. I pray that you would bless them. I pray that you would bless all of those as we scooch over and make room for the newness of people souls stories whose lives will be transformed through the power of your word. Thank you for this final week that we have shared together before we end one journey and begin a new one. I pray this now in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.  We'll turn the page together tomorrow and we will end one thing and commemorate that together as we look forward to beginning something brand new. Until then love one another.
Community Prayer Line:
Hello DABC family, this is Diana from Florida and I want to pray for Ashley from Texas and baby Genesis so that they can see God's hand in bringing baby Genesis to full development and eating properly and speaking. Dear God we thank you so much because you are never late and you know the developmental milestones that baby Genesis needs to meet Lord God and you know baby Genesis' timetable. I pray Lord God in The Name of Jesus that you would help aid baby Genesis and development that she would begin eating solid foods, that she would begin speaking babbling words, that she would grow properly according to your willing and righteousness. Pray oh Lord God in the name of Jesus that all developmental delays would be squashed and that by Genesis' 2-year-old birthday she would have developed more words and she would be eating solid foods. God you are a miracle working God and we trust that you are going to do a mighty work in this child- you protected her since the womb, brought her to this point and we trust you Lord and love you and we know Lord God we will continue to pray for baby Genesis' development and growth in Jesus name. Amen.
Good morning my DABC family, this is Tina from Pennsylvania AKA his hand is on me...I'm calling to request prayer for my brother Sam. Sam had surgery on November 15th we discovered that he had a a tumor- a mass tumor on the back of his brain which connected to the spinal cord and we found out that it was cancerous. He has recovered glory be to God. He is speaking, he is eating but the only issue that we're having right now that's preventing him from coming home is his blood pressure when he stands up, when he sits up, the blood pressure drops- when he's laying down the blood pressure elevation to try to correct what's going on. He also needs to have radiation because they weren't able to remove all the tumor, but they were able to move the majority of it so I'm just asking you guys to keep my brother and I'm believing God for his...

Hi! As a struggling author I wanted to ask you for advice. Of course, if that's not bothering.
I had a 6 years break from creative writing. Not even a single word. Recently I wanted to write a story that was growing inside me during that time and here come the troubles. I have a hard time reading, editing and rewriting the first chapter of my story. I have no problem with fixing the rest of it. It goes more or less smoothly (although the story is not finished yet). But the first one... It makes me crazy. Whenever I start reading it, it makes me want to cry, sentences don't sound right and it's just... aaah, my god, a disaster.
How do I cope with that block? When will I know that what I wrote is good enough so that I can post it?
I'm sorry, I know it's a lot of babbling and negativity, but I need an advice of someone experienced. And I admire you as a writer so much... Your character design is marvelous - it's exactly what I love. They have the depth, they create plot and make the rhythm right.
You're so talented and I'm really blessed that I have found your works. You have no idea how greatly they impacted me.
Even if my questions are too troublesome to answer I just wanted to thank you, Pia ❤️ you make me want to write again.
Hi anon!
So always take advice with a grain of salt, because what works for one author may not work for another!
But like, if I were in your situation, with your specific issues with that first chapter, I’d leave the chapter alone and write the rest of the story. Since it sounds like you can work on the rest of the story, and have been, honestly I would not touch that first chapter, or edit it, or look at it, before you’ve put some distance between yourself and the chapter, and you can work on the rest of the story in the meantime.
And then (after I’ve written the rest of the story) I would consider doing one or some of the following:
1. Getting some trusted betas or friends to look it over and ask them to respond with how they felt - did it grab their interest, did it communicate things to them, do they want to keep reading.
2. Turfing the chapter. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve deleted the first chapter of a novel because I thought it was necessary but it was holding me back (three times. I can tell you how many times, lol). Like literally ask yourself if you prefer reading the story from chapter 2. If you do, then...maybe other people will as well? I can’t tell you how many times authors write a redundant chapter 1, because they’re ‘feeling’ their way into a story. My first three chapters for The Ice Plague were trashed (and y’all never saw them) because they were redundant. I was telling myself something that y’all didn’t need to hear except in Mosk’s memories. And I felt much better once I realised that, and knew that I had to start the story chronologically much later. I was explaining something to myself in that chapter, which was why it never worked properly as part of the story.
3. Pretend you’re a reader and circle or highlight the bits that don’t feel like they’re ‘grabbing’ you.
4. Reading the chapter out loud, if this is something you’re able to do. It’s the best way to feel out the ‘flow’ of a chapter. If you’re constantly stumbling over sentences, way more than you usually would while reading aloud, it’s a sign the prose is clunky.
5. Writing three different versions of your opening. Write three different beginning chapters! You don’t have to stick with the one you thought of. Maybe you need to set it up differently. Maybe it needs to be written in a different style. Maybe it needs to start with more (or less) action etc. Write three different versions, you will probably have one you like more. Chances are you could write two other ‘chapter ones’ in the time it will take you to agonise over editing the chapter you have now.
6. Give yourself six months without looking at that story, come back to it with fresh eyes (or three months, some authors recommend twelve). It’s common knowledge that editing in the middle of a story is when you have literally no perspective and are mostly going to be catching typos and grammar issues, rather than structural or continuity issues. Which isn’t to say you can’t catch those things, just that... you don’t have the full picture of your story yet, it might only come together once you’ve written the rest of it, given yourself some time, and tried a few other different things.
And then (after those) I would consider like, accepting the first chapter for what it is. I have some chapters I cannot make work no matter what. But if I gave it my best shot, and no one else can suggest something different, I will put it up. And you know what, sometimes those chapters work way better for others and it was something to do with me and that chapter.
All of these things are things I’ve done myself, I wouldn’t suggest them otherwise. <333

Numbers 2:1-3:51, Mark 11:27-12:17, Psalms 47:1-9, Proverbs 10:24-25
Today is March 4th welcome to the Daily Audio Bible I am Brian it's wonderful to be here with you today. It's a special day at least in my life. Today is my birthday and it's been a while now, a long time ago that I decided to not do these birthdays. Like I don't want to be keep counting my chronological number but I have decided that I will celebrate my Daily Audio Bible birthdays. And this is my 16th birthday. So, that’s hard to believe, that since the time the Daily Audio Bible began, if it were a baby born on January 1st 2006…man…we…we would have a 16-year-old. This thing is looking for its driver's license now. We’re…we’re in the teen years. So, Lord help us as we continue to move forward. But today will be my 16th birthday that I'm…that I’m celebrating or observing since the Daily Audio Bible began. So, thank God. Thank God for His kindness to me. It is beyond expectations. Okay, but we’re not here to, you know, light a birthday cake. We are here to dive in. And actually we’ll be diving into our second day within the book of Numbers. We began the book of numbers yesterday. And numbers just by way of reminder is a part of a grouping of books in the Old Testament known as the Torah or the Pentateuch - Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy. And as we began the book of Numbers a census was taken to count all the men that were able to go to battle and that was over 600,000 men. 609,000. And they are preparing now to move toward the promised land. All the different tribes were numbered. The tribe of Levi was not numbered. They were the priests. They’re responsibility is the tabernacle. this the place where God travels. And this is interesting. It's a portable tabernacle. It can be set up and torn down and God…God is embedding into the people's understanding that He's going with them. He’s leading them and He's going to stay with them and among them, which is what this tabernacle represents. And, so, the tribe of Levi is responsible for that as well as the worship of God and caring for the people, the soul care of the people. So, they’re preparing to move out and there are obstacles in front of them that we will…that we will encounter in due course. Numbers chapters 2 and 3 today.
Commentary:
Okay. In the gospel of Mark, the religious authorities are trying to narrow in on Jesus…like they're trying to pin Him down they…they want to get rid of him, that's the plan. That’s what they want to do. And, so, they're trying to entrap Him or discredit Him in any way…anything that they can do to diminish Him so that they can kinda isolate Him and then get Him out of the way. Like, literally they want to kill Him, which…which they eventually do. Today Jesus is in the temple complex and they come to Him and they say, “by whose authority are you doing these things?” So, like to put maybe a little bit more modern…like, “who gave you the right to do this? Who told you you could do this?” And Jesus sort of answers their question with a question. And this isn't…I mean we’ve talked about as before, but you…you watch the question. Jesus says, “okay I'll answer your question if you answer one of mine.” The question that Jesus asks forces the truth into the open so that their exposed. They can't stand this about Jesus. So, He says, “tell me about John. Was he from God or was he not from God? Well, the religious authorities had been against John calling him a fraud. The people believed he was a true prophet. So, they’re in like…there's no good answer because either way they’re trapped before the people. But it's even deeper than that. The correct answer to the question Jesus is asking is the same answer to the question they are asking Jesus. “Who told you can do this? Who gave you the right to do this?” If they could or would have answered truthfully that they believe John was a prophet of God, then there would be some common ground there for Jesus to reveal the continuation of that same story and say that He was empowered by God to do the things that He's doing. But Jesus knows they were against John and He knows that they’re against Him and they're trying to snuff out His life. These quote unquote things that Jesus is doing are the works of God, His ministry, but also more recently what they would have considered the vandalism of the temple complex because He goes in there and tips over the money changers and lets the birds go and the sacrifice…the commerce that's going on there. He disrupts the commerce that's happening in the temple in the holy city of Jerusalem, by the way. So, pretty serious what Jesus is doing. And, so, they’re like, “how…what makes you think you can do this stuff?” All Jesus was doing was restoring some things. He said, “this is to be house of prayer for the nations, not a den of thieves.” And the religious leaders, they don't, you know, contemplate that and go like, “wow this is time for lament and repentance. We need to figure out a better way to do this. You're right.” They just get angered at Jesus challenging their authority. They don't like their authority to be challenged. And, so, they're asking Him about His authority. I think we could agree that what Jesus did in the temple complex was disruptive to the system, was disruptive to the way of things and would've had people talking. And Jesus was clear what He was trying to do. But it was disruptive. Right, here's where the mirror happens. What about when we ask God to do things in our lives, to reveal things in our lives, to show us the way that we should go or even as we’re observing the season of Lent, to be openhanded and openhearted to allow Him to move things in and out and rearrange things within us. When that's disruptive or uncomfortable usually we start praying against it. If we understood that it was Jesus doing this our lives might be saying, “who told you you could do this? By what authority are you messing around with my life” even though we've claimed allegiance and claimed that we've submitted ourselves to him so that He can do whatever He wants with us, take us wherever He wants to take us. Usually if that's uncomfortable we’re start going like, “no…no…no, that's not what I was talking about. You…You have full permission to bless me. You can rain it down all you want but who gave you permission to disrupt me?” Ah….ah…now we find ourselves in the story.
Prayer:
Jesus that’s been our story way too many times to count. And we’re sorry. We’re in a season of lament, we’re in a season of repentance, we’re in a season where we’re focusing on these things that You are after in us, the things that we are…that we’re holding on to and we don't want to let them go, especially control. So, come Holy Spirit and continue with Your kindness and Your patience to show us, to show us the way to go, to show us the next step forward. Then it's in our hands whether we obey You or whether we don't, whether we listen or whether we don't. It's not Your fault when we disobey You. We like to transfer blame off of us at every turn but it's not Your fault when we don't obey You. Come Holy Spirit and let this sink in we pray. In the name of Jesus, we ask. Amen.

Community Prayer and Praise:
Hi DAB family this is Vonnie in Northern California and it's March 1st, a new day and a new week a new month and I'm reaching out to anonymous. I just heard your prayer request and my heart breaks for you my dear. I am praying…I'm going to be praying for you all day, all week. As much as God reminds me to pray, I'm thinking of you. This is a tough time for a new mom to have to go through postpartum depression. Oh, Jesus please, please help, please help this Young woman. I'm so thankful that she reached out to her doctor and she got medication. I'm also thankful that she took a step of faith trusting You God to…to answer prayer through the prayers of the family. I pray that many of us many, many, many of us will be just coming to Your throne and laying her before You God everyday, trusting You to lift this…this horrible depression, to protect her mind from these thoughts that she's been having, to protect her children and her husband, and to come like a flood, restore the joy in her heart, restore to her Lord a sense of peace and calm and trust and confidence and restore the balance in her brain chemistry. Dear Jesus, we ask You to rebuke the enemy and completely put a wall of protection around this Young woman. Thank You, God for what You're going to do in her life and answer to prayer. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Good morning DAB family this is Judy from Georgia. I want to first thank Brian, Jill, and their family for putting the DAB together. It is great. It's a great community and I enjoy listening to this every day. And then I want to thank Doctor John from Jordan New York for the feeling groovy tune that’ll be stuck in my head all day. It's a great uplifting tune and I'm appreciative. We all need that every day. Now I'd like to pray for everyone out there, that please God give them the strength to get through whatever it is they need to get through today and show them the way that they need to go for those that are lost. And anyone fighting addictions please help them get through and show them there's a better way to live their life. God bless all of you and I'll talk to you soon. Bye.
This is Kathy from Kentucky. I wanted to give a praise report that I'm 29 years sober. I celebrated on February 23rd and I got a token. A lot of people say I'm an inspiration. So, I…I don't feel like that but I…I guess I am. But anyways praise God for 29 years clean and sober. Continue to pray for my neighbor and friend Sharon who lost her daughter unexpectedly a couple of weeks ago. She's still grieving and she's going through a really hard time. Thank you. Kathy from Kentucky.
Good morning DAB this is Guinn from Texas it is March the 1st and spring is in the air but I'm calling in because I want to pray for the father who called in this morning about his two sons. He…he wanted…he asked for prayer for them. One is Nathan and the other one is Nicholas and I just want to lift them up in prayer because I think Nicholas is in…incarcerated right now and Nathan is…is homeless but their situation can change and it’s going to change because God is able. And, so, I want to say because I also had…had a son that was incarcerated and he got out and he did well and he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and savior and…but he got killed in a motorcycle accident and it's been almost 10 years but it still feels like yesterday. And then my other son just is working, he's a hard worker but he needs to be more responsible. He has his own place now and I’m just praying that he keeps it. So…so, I know what you're going through right now. I feel your pain. So, Father I just lift up this Father to You who…who is praying for his sons Lord, that they will come out Lord doing well Father and I know they will because Father what You did for my sons You will do for his. And…and I just lift him up to give him strength. Your word says in Joshua 1:9 be strong be courageous do not be terrified do not be discouraged for the Lord Your God will be with you with whoever you go and God is with you dad and God is with your sons and He's going to encourage them and they’re going to come out on the other side and you're gonna be proud of them. So, I just want you to know that. Hang in there and God loves you and Jesus loves you and we love you. God bless you.
Hi family this is Melissa from Albertville AL I have a prayer request. My dentist who I've had for years and my neighbor he lives across the street from me committed suicide this morning. His name is Doctor Kirby and he has children and a wife. I don't know what he was going through. Just saw him a few weeks ago in the dentist office and I am devastated. I just wonder if I could have said something to him. I…I don't know. Please, please, please pray for his family. Please pray for his family. I love you family. Y'all hold on to Jesus. Satan is trying to destroy minds during this time but…if…if…you've gotta get ahold of Jesus. Hold on to Him and trust in Him. I love you all so much. Thank you. Bye-bye.
Hey guys this is Rachel in KC Missouri. This is March 1st. I'm not sure when you called in. You wanted to be anonymous. You’ve got three children and…and __ daughters. I don't know. You're married and you were just diagnosed with severe postpartum depression and you took me all the way back ten years ago when I had my last child Jonah. And darling I know exactly the thoughts that invade your mind, the scary, the creepy, the everything. As…as a sister of yours and you put so much faith and trust in us to share what you're going through, I started covering you in prayer as soon as I heard your voice because I…as soon as you said my name is…and you said you want to remain anonymous I knew, I knew something. So, I just want to go ahead and pray now so I don't lose any more time. But just know that I'm praying for you every time you come to mind darling. Heavenly Father thank You so much for this beautiful sister, this beautiful woman of God Lord. The trust and the faith that she's sharing and just reaching out and crying out to her family Lord. Father, please touch her right now this instant Lord, give her peace, cover her with Your feathers of protection. Lord every time she has a negative thought Lord please get her to…to remember something that Brian has said or one of us has said or a scripture Father…

Hi JS, I was wondering about the balance between trusting God and making your plans/taking action. I am a bit OCD about planning. My journey at the moment seems to be learning to let go of trying so hard and have faith in God to provide. On the other hand, I don't want to be the kind of person who says God will bless them yet doesn't work hard or look for ways to work smart. I'm not looking for a quick solution, but would be glad to just hear what you think. (I hope you're having a nice day.)
Hey dear friend, I really wrestle with this too: When do I let go and “let God”? If I hustle and pursue, does that mean I’m not trusting Him?
Here are a few things I’ve learned about trusting God:
1) It’s a false dichotomy to pit “working hard” against “trusting God.”
I have trouble with the Christianese church-ish notion that “working hard” is at odds with “trusting God.” I think this has been a pretty terrible lie we’ve been told about God’s activity. I don’t believe it’s a case of either/or, but both/and. You can work hard and trust God at the same time.
In fact, it’s weird to me that we would “let go and let God.” This might look good on an Instagram quote, but in real life, what does this even mean?
A Christian is called to excellence. Like DC Talk said, If it’s Christian, it ought to be better. There’s no excuse for mediocre, subpar efforts and then simply hoping that “God’s grace will cover the rest.” We’re called to reflect the aesthetic beauty of a glorious, captivating, breathtaking divinity.
Paul wrote the 1st and 2nd letters of Thessalonians to people who had totally stopped working because they thought, “Well Jesus is coming back anyway.” Paul says, “The one who is unwilling to work shall not eat.”
Not only that, but if you’re not working hard, then in some sense you’re limiting the gifts and abilities that God has apportioned you to do good on the earth with the little time you have left.
When we say that “God provides,” this doesn’t mean we sit there with hands wide open. It doesn’t mean “thoughts and prayers.” A faithful life requires action, petition, movement, and going. Never be ashamed for trying your best and putting sweat, tears, and muscle into your life’s calling.
If you look at our social and political climate right now, it would be irresponsible to simply declare, “God is in control.” Too often that’s said as an excuse to not help, rather than a motivation to join God’s activity. By saying God is in control, that also means He has entrusted us with very real resources to serve those in need.
2) Trusting God is less about what you’re doing and more about the person you’re becoming.
Now if you lean towards perfectionism, over-exertion, and seeing fatigue as a badge of accomplishment, then of course, this will kill you both inside and out.
If you’re controlling others and the systems around you to get the results you want, whether by subtle manipulation or aggressive power plays, this is obviously not what God wants for you.
Your motives matter. Trusting God is about trusting His divine wisdom, His order, and His decree for peaceful harmony in all you do. It’s not that “working hard” is bad, but why we work hard is what we must examine.
In the earlier passage in 2 Thessalonians, Paul says to people who are scrambling, “[Some of you are] doing no work at all, but acting like busybodies.” In other words, some people look like they’re working hard, but internally, their motives are just to look like productive busybodies. It’s not actually hard work.
Trusting God, then, is not simply saying, “Okay God, I did my part, you do yours,” but saying, “Work with me and through me on every part of this, that I would do these things for the right reasons and in a way that loves people.”
3) But yes, there’s only so much you can do. Waiting on God is insanely difficult and frustrating, but so we must wait.
Having said all this, there will be times you’re completely lacking control. You did your best, you turned in your paper, you prepared all you can, you delegated that project, you’re waiting for an answer, you don’t know what’s next.
In these moments, I remember what the Psalmist said, Take heart and wait on the Lord. It means that I’m not God. I can’t know all the outcomes. I can’t force anyone to do anything. I can’t make everything happen. I might fail, I might be rejected, I might be fired, I might be abandoned, regardless of how hard I carefully put in the time. You might not be able to provide for yourself or your family for a while, and maybe you’ll need charity. It will hurt, there will be grief and shame, and it will probably hurt for a lifetime.
But here, God does not want to equate a ratio of your work with your worth.
The parameters which the world has placed on you for “accomplishment” are chronologically determined by your era, culture, and social norms. Five-hundred years ago, you were a success if you killed a bear and built a house by puberty. Today, it’s sitting at a desk for eight hours a day and saving enough to move to the suburbs. Who determined these things as a standard of working hard? So much of the work we strive for is just a result of indoctrinated ideas that will fade away or morph into some other arbitrary goal-post. We hustle for these weird finish lines that we keep moving around.
Too many of us think that when we fail after trying, that that’s it, and I shouldn’t try again, or I didn’t trust God enough, or I pushed too hard—we make it my fault, or blame God, or blame people. But to “take heart” means I remember that the outcome is not a measure of who I am as a person, as a child made in the image of God. There is no shame in asking for help when we can no longer provide, and really, it only reminds us we’ve always been dependent on Him anyway.
You can do the best you can do, with clean motives, and let your work speak for itself. The world does not speak for it. God sees who you are as you’re working as He works through you. Trust that He’s working. Trust that you’re still His even if you fail for a season.

jay is like.... he's my specialest guy. he's transgener. he's tragic. he's a central figure whether the story is primarily following the first generation or the next. he dies in the end, and it's inevitable. i've found no other way of telling the story. (infodumping below the cut)
he (a soldier perhaps or guard, despite not wanting to be) and silas, the prince who's escaping being murdered alongside his entire family for political reasons (other local royal families being power hungry being the reason) run away together and have like a Romance like they are in Love it's very. i want it to hit some of the beats Big Tumblr Ships of the 2010s did, but they think they got out and get to be happy. they do not.
i'm telling this story non-chronologically for a reason & it's because they have to be the introduction to the universe, but the ending of their story together can't be a part of the first story i put out there from this universe. it has to exist in juxtaposition with the (happier) future.
in their present the communication breaks down, some time after they fall in with the resistance. silas, on a certain level, chooses not to unlearn the power of the role he was born into as a prince. silas hurts jay very badlyto end their relationship. so jay is already mourning their relationship when silas dies for him (in his arms).
and when jay had stood in harm's way to spare silas a similar injury, well. silas had magic; silas had been able to save him. and jay couldn't do the same. jay lives with that weight atop his complex grief for the rest of his life.
that's where jay's before ends: the end of silas' story. jay's story stretches so much longer. he's a part of a parenting triad with his two best friends (though romantically involved with neither of them); they have a son together, nait. when nait is young jay finds out he was never meant to be in this story.
the most developed diety i have so far for this universe is the sibling god. they are a shepherd of processes; their domain is change. when the world was young they thought they were a trickster, but with time they grew into what they are now. they are known to be a god of death and birth, of balance and cycles. they are known to favor underdogs.
and the oldest gods stay out of things, mostly. there is a reason for this, and it coincides with the beginning of the existance of humans. many of them also find the lives of humans uninteresting and insignificant in their shortness. of the oldest gods, the sibling god is the exception: they care. they notice. it's just that their morals keep them from changing things too directly.
jay and silas had built a home together, in a canyon-like rift torn into the land by magic a very long time ago. the rift's edge borders desert, and jay goes back to the place they'd built at least yearly, to keep it habitable (to be alone with his grief). it's on one of these grief pilgrimages that jay meets the sibling god.
they tell him that things are out of balance in the valley—not just that what is happening is unjust, but that years of minimal change due to the monarchy had lead to a more cosmic wrongness, lack of balance so loud even the gods were noticing.
the sibling god tells him that if things were in balance, he would have no battles to fight. he would have an easier and happier life, and live to reach old age.
and the sibling god tells jay that he has no fate. some people do; some people are chosen by dieties or born to prophecies or curses (though some are called blessings). jay's choices are entirely his own. but because of who he is as a person, he is not going to turn away from helping where he can, and he is going to die fighting for the resistance.
there are many versions of the future; this is something a diety can observe with ease. and of course, nothing is certain; it isn't set in stone that he will die. he can, after all, still walk away. but he won't. especially not when those he loves are as embroiled in this as he is. so it is as certain as it can be until it comes to pass that he will die.
the sibling god didn't just come to tell him this, though. they came to counterbalance the wrong of the hand he's been dealt, too—they tell him he can make a request of them and it will be granted. it is meant to be a piece of good, just for him.
jay asks that when he dies, that it not be for his son. he doesn't want nait to live with that weight.
the sibling god agrees to this; they have been planning on picking a youth raised in the resistance to be a chosen of theirs, and they choose nait. as long as he fights for the resistance, as long as there is a fight to be had, he will not die. the sibling god blunts the edges of this favor; nait can become ill—illness will not all catch him once the favor has passed—and he can die of old age. not all gods are this careful.
this request is not the variety jay had been meant to make, though. not a piece of good, all for himself. the sibling god grants jay the trust of all animals (unless he gives them reason to mistrust him).
jay does live many more years. he becomes a mentor figure to two escaped children of the monarchs upon whose hands is silas' blood. they and nait are among those at the center of the next generation's story, and jay is one of the people most instrumental in making them a home in the resistance.
over the years—from the time he first meets the sibling god—jay will walk the battlefields after a fight. looking for those who might be healed, yes, but seeking also places where the sibling god will be. they walk together. the sibling god joins him on his journies to the rift some years, as well.
and jay does die. he dies before the end. he dies before he can see the final unmaking of the seats of power he fought against, before he can meet the people nait and the other children he's taken in become in a more peaceful world.
when he dies, it's not that he greets death like an old friend. he gets to greet death like an old lover.
feeling very normal about one of my ocs today gamers (<-lying)

Philippians 1-4
Welcome to Daily Audio Bible Chronological. Today's the 17th day of December. I'm Jill. So good to be here with you today as we have turned the page and the story of our lives and then the story of the word of God. Starting a brand new week this week, brand new translation and we're also starting a brand new book of the Bible. We are reading Philippians chapters 1 through 4. This week we're reading the New English translation. Let's jump in Philippians chapter 1.
Prayer:
Jesus we thank you for this time. Thank you for all of the things that we notice today that represent a brand new beginning, a new beginning with you because of you. You make us new again and again and again. We give you this week. Do what it is that you desire to do in us, through us, among us. And we will give you all of the things, all of the glory and all of the praise. I pray this now in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Announcements:
We'll turn the page together tomorrow. Until then love one another.
Community Prayer Line:
Hi everyone this is just from Ohio. I wanted to give an update on our church building. I tried calling less than before but not sure if it went through so I wanted to call again. We were able to get a new building location- open the door for us to move into a new building. We believe this is temporary and there will be a long-term place for us, but we are grateful for this place in the meantime. And thank you for praying for me when I was sick. I'm feeling much better and doing well. I appreciate all the prayers and this community and hope you all have a blessed day.
Good morning DABC. This is His Redeemed Daughter from Florida. I wanted to come on and pray for Covered in his Blood, for her son Trayvon and the group that are going to training in Chicago. Father God, I do and I'm in agreement with her- put your angels all around them and protect them. Keep them safe, give them wisdom, protection, safety and help them to get along and to become best friends. Oh my God, let them give you the glory. And Lord give her peace and things to do and friends around her and encourage her to hope. I know she's going to miss him. I just know cuz I'm a mom, too. And I still miss my kids and they're older adults. So just be with her at this time. So good to hear you pray again, to know that you're fine and you're doing well. And thank you for your beautiful prayers. You just pray with such a good heart and we're just so glad to hear you on here. And my joy, my joy, my joy, my joy, that was such a sweet prayer and we do thank Jill and this whole ministry for everything that they do and that we are a part of this community. Thank you Jill. Thank you everyone who prays. Once again, His Redeemed Daughter, my daughter is going out of town just for a quick little jaunt. I pray that God will protect her on her travels and give her traveling mercies and my son making decisions and give him wisdom in Jesus name. We love you.
This is for my cousin Kevin. He seems to be doing fairly well. The main thing that's coming up is that he's got an acting gig which is the first time he's going to be on stage. It's in a play. It's a faith-based play and he's really looking forward to doing it. He's nervous about it but he's excited and I'm really really hoping that he succeeds. There's four performances he's going to be doing. I know his throat can sometimes be a little strained and can sometimes become sore as a result of using his voice. Just be praying over him. The performances are like next weekend which by the time y'all hear this it'll probably be after this weekend. But yes, please be praying for him. I would really enjoy it if anybody and everybody could pray for my cousin. This is been a long time coming and I'm really excited to see what God does with this. Thank you so much.

Romans 8-10
Welcome to Daily Audio Bible Chronological. I'm Jill. Today is the 9th day of December. Welcome everybody. It's so good to be here with you as we wind our way through the Bible- completion of the Bible and just less than a month which is kind of crazy to think about but that is the whole reason why we're here. And what an incredible thing it is to see so many people, so many believers, wanting to know God through his word and to be enlightened by the word and to allow the Spirit of God to speak to us as we meet here with him. That is truly my hope and prayers that we are all engaging in a more intimate relationship with God through his word- intimacy with Christ that is the goal. Today we're continuing the book of Romans, reading chapters 8, 9 and 10 and today's the last day in the Christian Standard Bible. Romans chapter 8.
Prayer:
Father we thank you for your word. We thank you for this week, this time that we've had together, this transformation in our hearts from the inside out. We let go of all that we're carrying that is not ours to carry. We release worry and anxiety, the things that we are anxious about that are out of our control. We give them to you, lay them at the cross of Christ. I ask that as we are turning the page and heading into a new week tomorrow that we would consider the things that we are giving ourselves to. Are they life-giving? Will they lead us to righteousness? Will they lead us to life and life more abundantly? I pray that we would take you with us everywhere we go and be true examples of a follower of Christ. I pray this now in the name of the Father, the Son and Holy Spirit. Amen.
Announcements:
That's going to do it for me today. I'm Jill. We'll turn the page together tomorrow and start a brand new week together. Until then, love one another.
Community Prayer Line:
Greetings to you my DAB family. This is Walking in The Light in Tennessee. I am just checking in to say hello to everyone and to ask for prayers again for the many many things that are going on in my own life. If you'll just lift up walking in the light in Tennessee and ask for peace that would be a great blessing unto me. But I'm calling in because I heard Ebony from Nashville I believe and she was talking about- Ebony you were talking about having migraines and I went through a period in my life early on when I was raising my children- I had terrible terrible terrible migraines and so whenever I hear of anyone who is suffering in that area I'm always touched in my heart and lifted in my spirit to pray for you. So I want to pray for you my sister. It's probably many of you who are on DAB have had migraines and if you haven't, then stop right now pause and thank God that you haven't and if you have join us in the prayer of deliverance. Father God, in the name of Jesus we know oh Lord that you are able to do all things and we know that we suffer in this life. Your word even tells us that in this world we would have tribulation but we are to be of good cheer because you have overcome the world. So Lord I ask that you would place your loving hands and healing hands on my sister Ebony in Tennessee and relieve her of the pain of migraines. In this season of hope and joy, we ask it in Jesus name. Lord I love you and I love this family. Be blessed everyone and have a Merry Merry Christmas. Bye.
Good morning DABC, it's His redeemed daughter from Florida. I wanted to come on and say a little prayer for Mindy who lost her dad. Mindy I just lost my dad too in September- you in November. And it was kind of a sudden thing but my older sister's nickname is Mindy as well so I just really felt compelled to come on here and pray for you and for your mom. And even though we know and we know that our dads are with the Lord, it's just always the fact that we're going to miss them so much. And you're right, life is not going to be the same without them and the holidays come up and we just miss them. So I just pray for you and then praying peace for your mom and for you both. And just want you to know that we are here for you and for Ebony she called about the migraines and said that somebody had laid hands on her and she felt she was healed. I just want to give you a little thing that happened to me when somebody laid hands on me to quit smoking at church one time- I really believe that I was going to be healed, too. It took 6 years. To me it could have been 6 days because his timing is totally different than ours. So just believe when you feel like you don't believe. You know that prayer- help Jesus, help my unbelief. Have to say that a lot, too. So just keep believing and we'll keep praying for those migraines but that you are healed. He probably definitely has healed you. Absolutely, just believe. Love you guys.
Good morning DAB, this is Tanya from Suffolk. I wanted to lift up Kindergarten Katie, Mindy called in to reference to her father passing and then also Ebony from Tennessee. I think she said as well called in dealing with migraines. So father I lift up your children to you father. Dear Lord I'm asking father you just to have your way Lord God. Father you know what Kindergarten...Father I'm asking you to intervene right now in the mighty name of Jesus. I'm trusting believing Lord God that your will be done in her life father and many father. Thank you for allowing her father to be at rest Lord God, to be with you Lord God and glory Lord. And just continue to strengthen her and her family as well and her mom though God for the many years that they have been married father, just continue to wrap your loving arms around them in your son Jesus' name. And also for Mindy with the migraine father. I'm asking Lord God. I'm sorry Ebony... father I'm asking Lord God you just to continue God to show her favor. Lord God we continue to buy these headaches. Father we know she have been healed and delivered Lord God from the migraines. Lord God we continue to stand on that continuous trust despite Lord God the outbreak of headache that she has been having. Father we know this is not of you. Look I was just continue to trust you, continue to love you Lord God in your son Jesus' name. Amen. As always they have seen. Continue to be encouraged. I love you all. I'm continue to, I just continue to lift everyone in prayer- I can't remember everybody's name...I'm just trusting believing right now in Jesus name. Amen. You guys have a wonderful day.

Prayer
Father, we thank you for your word today. We thank you, Jesus, for who you are, for what you said, what you came to do. We can get so hung up On the things that you did, and maybe you did them one time, but that's not what you said that you came to do. We cling to the things that you said. You promised. You told us the reason that you came. And we do not have to look at the future with fear. We do not have to look at the future with trepidation. We do not. And we do not have to panic. We have to trust you. We have to know that our future is secure. No matter, What happens, You will be with us. You will never leave us. You will never forsake us. May we cling to that as our Life raft as our anchor that holds us in place when the storms come. And the storms will come, and man they Will Rock our surroundings, but our foundation. Secure. And I pray. In this moment, God, that we will know that we will suffer. That it will be painful. That it will be hard. It will not be easy. But you will be with us. You are our hope. We are not a people without hope. And we thank you for these promises that only you can bring us. We pray this now in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Amen.

Hi, DABC, family. This is Synergy Sherry from Northwest Indiana. I don't call in too often, but I listen and pray with you every day. I am just calling to ask for some prayers for my mother. Oh, she's had quite a year and 1/2. She got very ill last year and we were caring for her in her home. And we actually had her in Hospice for some extra care and then this past April they graduated her out of Hospice. She started to improve, which was a exciting blessing, but she also could not be home alone. So we started just praying about what to do and and a friend that was actually helping care for her suggested a wonderful Retirement Village. So we looked at it, We loved it. We moved her on July 18th and she just transitioned beautifully there. She was doing so well. And then we found out on August 30 that this building actually had structural damage and they were going to have to move out all the residents and either tear it down or try to mediate it, but they couldn't do it with the residents.There. So it was a bit of a rocky journey, but they opened a new building that used to be a skilled rehab center and at one of their sister facilities and we were able to get her in a real very small room there. But you know, we were excited. It's still a Christian nursing home and so we moved her.The second time on October two. So it's been a month now and it's just not going well there. They're used to doing skilled rehab care and not necessarily assisted living. I got there yesterday and found out she was on an antibiotic. She told me that and I asked why and she said I don't know. So I checked with the nurses and they said, oh, she has pneumonia, which. No one notified ourself and so I'm just and there's been some other issues too with the way they care for her, which isn't really assisted living care. So if you could just pray that God gives us guidance on what to do, it would be appreciated. Love you all. Thank you. Bye.
Hey y'all, hey it's Simone from Texas guys. I just left my doctor's office and I need prayer. I'm trying to go as quick as I can. Umm I need a colonoscopy because I'm having issues with my stomach. Umm, I need to get my mammogram checked because I failed to do that this year and it's very important. With my sister having died from breast cancer, I need to see a hematologist because my platelets are off.Um, God. They're showing signs of damage to my kidneys, so I need to see a specialist for that. I left with two medications for my blood pressure because I can't seem to get it under control. I left with the medication for my iron because I'm anemic.I left with medication for my cholesterol because my high, my good cholesterol is too low, my bad cholesterol is too high. I also left with medication for diabetes because I am pre diabetic. So that was my doctor's office. I'm sorry so.I just need prayer because my body is shutting down and I had a meltdown in the doctor's office and she said the good thing is all of this can be reversed. It's not going to kill you and we just need to get it all under control. So I go back in two weeks so we can set up a game plan and.I just, I need prayer. I'm all over the place. And I yeah, I just, I need prayer. And she looks at me and she says, the only thing I can tell you, sweetheart, is you need a new job because your job is literally killing you. It is now manifesting in my body.I'm so sick, I'm so tired all the time and I'm just.Guys, pray for me.Hate the epsy famines Carry AKA Jesus girl. I just wanted to lift up a couple people. First of all, Lord, I come to you and I thank you so much for our oh so faithful sister Tanya from Suffolk. Lord and she is outrageously faithful to call in and pray over others and Lord. She never asks. But, Lord, we need to hold her up. And the other day she did ask that we continue to remember her and her marriage. Lord, and her family. Lord, I just. I bring her to you now, and I thank you. I praise you for her. And Lord, I just ask that you be the sustainer of her.Lord, that you continue to work in and through her marriage. Lord that you bless it, that you help it to become the marriage that it was originally intended to be. Lord, and I thank you that you have brought it back together to repair it. And, Lord, I ask that you be with her family. Lord, I ask that you continue to work in and through her daughter's life, that. She continued to grow closer to you, and I thank you and I praise you for that. And Lord, I also want to bring you the Harden and the Brown family as a community we're all anxiously waiting to hear news of.China's new baby and Lord we just it's a time of.Um, change in their life. And so, Lord, I just ask that you be with each and everyone of them. It's I'm sure it's hard for Jill to have taken over going back to doing dab see full time. But Lord, we know that you are faithful and that you are capable of working all the things out in the manner with which will bring you the most glory. And so, Lord, I just ask that you be with them. Or I pray that this new life comes in as a blessing and is healthy, Lord, and that you help China to not suffer from postpartum depression this time around, Lord, but for it to be a time of just pure joy. Family, I love you. Pray that you also have a blessed day. Bye.

Ezekiel 24 - 27
Welcome to Daily Audio Bible Chronological I'm Jill. Today is the 4th day of September and I am so glad to be back with you. What a joy. What an honor. What a privilege it is to be here reading the word of God with us in community.Individually and collectively. Today we are reading Ezekiel chapters 24, 25, 26, and 27 and we're starting a brand new translation this week. As we turn the page and grabbed that New Mercy started a brand new week. We are also changing translations in the Bible and if you're new here and you're like. Yeah, why is that? It's real simple, We like to change it up a little bit. One, it gives us different perspectives. Maybe you hear a phrase said differently, with a different word than a translation you would normally branch out of, and you hear it differently. It hits you Maybe in a way that the other translations hasn't quite hit you. And with that, it can take us into a deeper understanding, a deeper intimacy, a different relationship with God. So this week we're reading God's Word Translation and let's begin Ezekiel, Chapter 24.
Prayer
Father, we thank you for your word once again. We thank you for the newness of this present moment that we have and have had with you here. I thank you that where there is breath, there is hope. And so many Are needing their hope, Reinsured, reinstated, Reignited. But what I hope that we recognize is that hope never goes away with you. It is not circumstantial. It is not contingent upon whatever we're walking through our hope. Is in our foundation, and our foundation is sure because you are our sure foundation. We give you this week. Asking you to do speak, say, change all that you would Desire to change, speak, say and do within us. Transform us from the inside out, I pray. And we pray this now.In the name of the Father and the Son, And the Holy Spirit, Amen. It's always good to be back and I am looking forward to a great week together. As we dive into the richness, the fullness of all that God would say and speak and do in us, among us, and through us. I'm Jill. We'll turn the page together tomorrow, And look forward to it. Until then, Love one another.
Community Prayer Line
Hi DABC, this is Cynthia from Texas. I was calling to ask Y'all to pray for my mom, Ginger, and she is a godly mother of five. And and she has struggled with chronic illnesses her whole life. Um, there's a long list of celiac, and she had a damaged liver from an illness that she had years back, so she gets migraines from all kinds of things. Anyway, she also injured her knee. Umm, I think she tore her meniscus or something like that. And she's hardly been able to walk the last few months, which has been really hard on her emotionally. And as you can imagine, wanting to see her grandchildren and not really being able to do anything. Um, she also had scoliosis that was untreated for about 60 years and now being treated, but anyway. So She's going to have surgery on her knees soonish. And and I'm just asking for prayer that God would heal all the things and also that the surgery would really turn her health around, that it would work really well, and that she would be able to exercise and move around and do things. And that that exercise would help turn her health around as well. Um So yeah, I just ask Prior's prayers. I really appreciate y'all praying. God bless you all.

I pray for strength. I pray for healing, Father. I pray  Lord God that you bring someone into their lives, Lord God, that they could interact with. That is a godly person, Lord God that can lift them up when they are down, Father, and can continue to just encourage them, Father. I'm asking Father you to wrap your loving arms around them, Father. Give them strength like no other. I speak divine healing, divine deliverance. In the mighty name of Jesus. Amen. And this is my prayer to you in Jesus name you guys. Um, I pray that you would give Ashley and the doctors wisdom to know what is causing this, whether it's an allergy or some other underlying problem. But Lord, we just ask you to heal this baby, Lord God, that you would heal her body, that she would be able to eat, that she would enjoy eating, and that she would be able to poop and everything would happen in a healthy way, in a natural way.I just ask that you would touch this little baby and give her fullness of life and help her to thrive in Jesus name, Amen. It's so hard When our kids are right Where The milestones say they should be, and it's extremely Discouraging at times. I know my my son is special needs and I've really been struggling a lot lately with just him not being our kids are his age and it's it's made me very emotional recently. But I just wanted to pray for you and your baby. Lord, thank you Jesus for this this beautiful mom. And baby, that you blessed her with. Lord, thank you for the miracles you've done and Ashley's life and and her daughters. And we thank you in advance for all the answers or that you will provide through these doctors. And Lord, we pray for Ashley to be able to get Genesis into a GI specialist soon, or if that is Your will that she goes to a GI specialist Lord, those appointments can be crazy to get into a very, very long, long wait list as we experienced with ours. But Lord, you know what she stands in need of, and we just lift them up to you and thank you In advance, God, for what you're going to do in this baby's life and in her moms. And thank you for her having a loving, caring, and praying mom. God remind her that you have not given her a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind. Please come for her rapper and her. Wrap her in your arms And remind her that you gave her this baby for a reason. You made her a Genesis mom for a reason. Thank you Lord for this beautiful little family. We love you so much. In Jesus name, Amen. I love you girl.

2 Kings 24-25 and 2 Chronicles 36
Welcome to Daily Audio Bible Chronological. I'm Jill. Today's the 19th day of August. Welcome, everybody. It's our last day here. Together we will wind this week down here. That's what we're going to do today before I leave you in the beautiful and capable hands of my daughter China. So let's dive in. For today, we're out of the book of Jeremiah today and into Second Kings. Back in Second Kings, I should say chapters 24 and 25. And then we will jump over to Second Chronicles and read chapter 36. Today is the last day in the New English translation. Second Kings, chapter 24.
Prayer:
Father, we thank you for your word and we thank you for meeting with us here again this week. We let go of the things that are not ours to take into the newness and the promise of what is new in awaiting for us tomorrow, and we lay them at your feet. And as we do that, we pick up the newness, the redemption, the new to come, the new life that comes from abiding with you. So we cling to that. We cling to your promises. We'll take our new mercy and we look ahead to the future with hope and restored faith. And we carry it forward for those that feel hopeless and whose faith is shaky knowing there is no shame, there is no condemnation in you. Thank you for your presence and thank you for your transformation through your word. We pray this now in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Announcements:
It has been a privilege to be here with you this week. My joy, truly an honor, and I now leave you in the very beautiful, delicate, yet strong and capable hands of my daughter China. And I will see you the week after next, Lord willing and the creek don't rise. Until then. I'm Jill. Love one another.
Community Prayer Line:
Hey my fantabulouslistic DABC fam, this is Kingdom Seeker Daniel and Lady of Victory. And hey y'all, it's Kerry AKA Jesus Girl. We just wanted to call and say we we just want to pray and bless. Lord, we come to you and we bless you. We thank you so much for the day of family because through this platform, Lord, you have brought people together. They never in life would have come together. Christians from around the world that become family to each other, not just on a global, we call each other family, but Lord, we actually come in contact and become family to each other. And so, Lord, we just ask that you bless Brian and Jill and China and Ezekiel and the whole family for this platform. We thank you. We praise you, We bless your holy name and your name. We pray Amen. And God, as Jesus girl, AKA Kerry, is getting on the road, we do ask that you would just continue to lead her down this road so that she can get to see her new grand baby. Yeah. And we again just thank you so much that we had this opportunity to meet with her in like real life. And so again, we thank you so much for the the Brown family for creating this platform so that people can get together not only in heaven, but down here on earth. Yeah, man. And so family, we have been so honored to be able to meet up with our friend, our sister Kerry, AKA Jesus Girl. And so thank you guys for allowing this to be Pastor Brian, Lady Jill, Ms. China. You guys are the best. And of course, Zeke. You are the man. My I know. Bye. Love ya. That Kingdom Seeker. That's not me.
This is Daughter of the Silversmith and Zach. I want to tell you thank you for leading by example and just putting it out there and saying I need prayer, I am praying for you. But you have encouraged me to put one of the things that I fight with out for you guys to pray with me. I spend too much money. I don't like spend thousands and thousands of dollars of money, but I spend too much. And my husband is a very loving man, but he does get upset with me. But this. I feed my flesh with this. And I've told the Lord over and over again that I want to quit doing this, but I just find myself doing it and I'm not starving the flash for it. So if you will, please pray for me that may spend the money on little gadgets and stuff won't be so fulfilling for me- that I will quit doing this and I will honor my husband and be to be obedient to him as I should be and thank you all so much. Love you. Bye.
Hi, this is Greg from Washington, AKA Clown for Christ. Anyway, I'm calling today to ask for prayer for my father and stepmother. My dad had a pretty serious stroke, left side paralyzed and he has a long road recovery and my step mom is having a hard time with it. They're both in their early 80s, so prayer for them that they can both fulfill the roles they need to. Right now, my step mom needs, my mom needs to do, the role that my father would normally do, and that's hard for her and he has to stay focused on actual recovery. So thank you for your prayers whether air it or not, I know that this community is most excellent and I'm so grateful and honored to be a part of it. Thank you to the Hardins and to all the prayer warriors and to those that that transcribe. Anyway, God bless you all.
Dear Lord, thank you God for all your blessings, your mercies. We thank you. We praise you. Be with my family. Be with my church family in the name of the Father, Son, the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Hello D ABC Family, this is Diana from Florida and I want to pray for Lady of Victory or how his beloved calls her LOV because she is in need of financial assistance to pay for her final semester of her PhD program. Dear God, I lift up Lady of Victory right now. Lord Jesus, you are Jehovah Jireh. You provided a ram in the thicket for Abraham when he was planning to sacrifice his own son, and you provided time and time again I'm sure for her, dear God, I pray in the name of Jesus that you would open an ave. and a door for Lady of Victory to be able to pay for schooling. Whether that's you actually giving her the money miraculously, whether that is a scholarship, whether that is forbearance on her current loan debt. Oh Lord God, or some sort of opening of relief for her schooling. Lord God, I pray in the name of Jesus that you or Lord would open the financial doors for her, Lord God, that you would provide exactly what she needs, and then some so that she can finish her schooling in a timely manner and not have to put it off. We love you, Lord. In Jesus name, Amen. Lady of Victory also wanted to encourage you with this testimony. My son was in public school and I've been trying to get him to go to a Christian School for four years. I had applied for a scholarship four separate times in my state and I kept getting denied. This year I have applied again in faith and I actually was accepted and was given $8300 towards my son's schooling and now he is going to that private Christian School, so he can do it for you, too.
Hey y'all, hey, it's Simone calling in from Texas and it's early in the morning. I'm driving into work and this message is for Naveen from Dubai. Sweet girl. I know exactly what you're going through. After 40 something years, I just forgave my mother last year for all the horrible things I felt like she had done to me. And one day I was in prayer and I felt like I heard God say to me, what if I didn't forgive you? You need to forgive her. And that stopped me in my tracks and I went on this journey of forgiveness and fight. It took a few months, but I finally got through it last year and I was able to forgive her and we are healing and we're working through our relationship now. So Father God, I just thank you that Your grace God is sufficient. Lord God, I lay Naveen and her mother on the altar before you, Jesus God, I thank you that whatever healing needs to take place, whatever restoration needs to take place, Father, that your spirit will come in and just make all the changes need to be made this situation. Lord God and I thank you Lord God that you are healing. Lord God, you are a keeper, Lord God and you teach us how to forgive. With Holy Spirit we can learn how to forgive. And move past things. So I just ask Lord God that you were covering the Naveen and her mother- protect them, keep them and allow something to happen that can cause the transformation they need to take place in Jesus name. Amen.

Jeremiah 23-25
Welcome to Daily Audio Bible Chronological. I'm Jill. Today's the 13th day of August. Welcome, everybody. It's a brand new week. It's a brand new mercy, yours for the taking. A brand new day. And I thank God for the promise of beginning again again. Let's jump into the reading today and let's just take a moment and posture our hearts. Empty anything out of our heart. Out of our mind. Maybe just even wiggle your fingers. Shake off all of the things that would pull you into your attention for today, that would vie and compete for your allegiance to what you're doing here, spending time alone with your creator in his word to allow him to speak to us and change us from the inside out. I'm so thankful that his word and his spirit does that- renews our mind. Restores our hope and gives us our daily bread. We're continuing where you left off yesterday, with China- going to pick up Jeremiah Chapters 23 through 25, and this week we're reading the New English translation, Jeremiah Chapter 23.
Prayer:
Thank you for your word today. We thank you for meeting us here. Another day. Another week. Another new mercy. New Grace. New reminder of your deep, compassionate love for us. A reminder today of how powerful you are. And for those of us, because we are all guilty, who speak for you in your name, with no right to speak for you while doing evil, while speaking in our own knowledge, in our own strength, in our own mind and from our own places and so easily mislabeling it. You forgive us, God. May it cause us to turn in the other direction and go no more. Go in a new direction. Go into the newness, the redemption, the path that you make straight and right for us. Thank you that you do make all of our paths straight. We pray this now as we worship you in spirit and in truth. In the name of the father, son and Holy Spirit. Amen.
Announcements:
Looking forward to a beautiful week together in God's word. I'm Jill. We'll turn the page together tomorrow. Until then, love one another.
Community Prayer Line:
Hi this is encouragement and prayer is for Zach from California. I heard your request today. And the fact that you're being so brave and sharing that is huge, because the devil wants you to hide it and to be alone. But when others know, we're able to fight together and know that God doesn't judge you for struggles. He doesn't hate you for giving in. He wants you to find peace. He wants you to know that you that he loves you dearly. And that this season will not last forever. I've had struggles for years and every day I choose to fight against it. So every morning, keep your day to God. And choose to fight it. In a world where **** is everywhere, it is definitely difficult to just to, not just to give in. So be strong. Be brave. You've got this. It's in your heart to not want to look at it, to not be a part of it anymore. So every day just focus on that. Know that you are forgiven. That you are loved and every time you mess up just turn to Jesus. He will cleanse you, renew you. And make you stronger every single day. Be blessed, Zack, and know that you are his child and that He loves you.
Hey DABC Fam, this is Lady of Victory. On the evening of Monday, August 7th, y'all I have been trying not to make this call all day, but I know that is nothing but my pride getting in the way. Like girl, you be praying for people. You don't need prayer. No ma'am and no sir, I do. So here's the thing, y'all. I am in the last semester of my coursework for a PhD for my PhD program, and I have a balance that has always been taken care of with a grad plus loan that I have been applying for and been receiving since 2019 when I started my PhD Program. Well this last semester of my coursework because I have some adverse things on my credit, umm, that loan has been denied. So now I have no other way to pay for the balance that's on my account. And so, you know, my financial aid people at school were saying, well maybe you could take fewer correct classes and maybe you could postpone it until this and maybe this. I'm like, oh God, no, please Jesus. So I've called the creditors and what the Department of Education wants is six months of on time payments, while I just started paying them in like May, June, July, So maybe like maybe June, so June, July and August will be the third payment, so not six months, but they've been paid on time. So the creditor said that they will send me out what they can send me and in the meantime, I'm going to send them to the Department of Education. Even though I know they want six months, I'm still going to send it. And I'm just believing that whoever gets this will show grace and mercy and reverse that credit denial to get this credit report done. So would y'all pray with me please? I appreciate.
Hi, this is Cynthia from Texas and I wanted to call and pray for. I think her name was Maddie, the girl who was cutting herself and tried to commit suicide. Um, Lord God, I lift her up to you. I pray that you would show her how precious she is to you and how much value she has to you. I pray that you would help her to see her worth in your eyes and that you would surround her with her, your love and transform her view of herself. I pray that she would pursue you and that you would show her just how precious she is to you, Lord God. I pray that you protect her from all the lies and attacks of the enemy. I pray that you would surround her with your angels and with a hedge of protection. And I pray this in Jesus name. Also, quick update on Alithia. And so I am really encouraged. She won't get weighed for another maybe four weeks or something, three or four weeks at her one year appointment. But she's doing really well. She's eating a lot and I've been experimenting with different foods and giving her more carbs and she's I've been finding some really good foods that she really likes that she'll eat a lot of, which is a huge blessing. And then also umm, I found a really good formula to supplement her food that doesn't have any seed oils in it. So I'm encouraged. Then I also have some different people in my life who are encouraging me saying, hey, she's she's a healthy, happy baby, like she's thriving in every other way and so maybe I don't need to worry. So anyway, thank you all so much for your prayers. I really appreciate it. God bless.
