fall in deep part 2- nathan mackinnon
A/N: this is pure fluff again, soft nate is all that matters to me ok
WC: 1.5K
You paced around your apartment, trying to figure out what the hell to make for dinner that wasn’t boxed mac and cheese for the third day in a row. You sighed and flopped down on the couch, deciding whether you wanted to order food or just save the cash right as your phone buzzed.
Nate: Wanna get food or something?
Y/N: idk, kinda already have a date with my couch... or something
You sat there grinning, thinking about how great it was that Nate actually liked you. You had always loved teasing him, but now you got to make out with him too, so you pretty much had the perfect setup.
Nate: cmon, we haven’t even been on a real date yet, your hungover ass spending the entire day in my bed doesn’t count :///
Y/N: Fineee, come pick me up in like 15?
And now you were blushing like it was middle school or something, immediately texting Layna about your date.
Layna: omg Y/N, grumpy Nate has such a soft spot for you. Wrap it before you tap it ;)
Y/N: hahah you’re the worst, ok I gotta go get ready!!
After a few minutes of trying to make yourself look a little less tired, there was a knock at your door.
“Hey, you,” Nate flashed you a smile as you leaned in to give him a hug.
“Not to be dramatic, but I kinda missed you.”
“Pshh, you’re always dramatic, but I kinda missed you too,” he said, laughing. “Tacos?”
“You read my mind, MacK.” You were so drawn to him it wasn’t even funny, and you were debating reaching for his hand before he set it on your waist and guided you out of the building.
“Oh, so you do this when I’m not blackout drunk too?” you looked up at him, feeling giggly and warm against the cool spring air.
Nate shrugged, “It’s hard to keep my hands off of you.”
“Then don’t,” you smirked. “Just keep it family-friendly when we’re in public, Nathan.” That earned you an eye-roll, and then you both cracked up.
Dinner was gone as soon as it started. Nate was scarfing down tacos while you told him about the research you’d been helping with and and all of the stupid things you and Layna had done in the past week; you were scarfing down tacos while Nate was being way too humble about the ridiculous season he’d been having.
“I’ll go cheer you on sometime, make you a sign or something. I’m literally going to be such a nervous wreck every time you get hit though.”
“You can wear my jersey, how cute would that be? God damn Y/N, you’re gonna be the best hockey girlfri-” he paused. “Are we doing the girlfriend thing? Like, can I call you that? I know it’s only been one date but...” he trailed off.
“Why not? You’re the only person I can see myself with right now anyways,” you replied.
“Me too.”
Your legs were tangled together with Nate’s under the table because in reality, you couldn’t keep yourself away from him either. You both blushed when your waitress pointed out how you two were just so adorable, but you figured she was kind of right.
Nate picked up the check, even though you protested, telling you that the least he could do for not asking you out sooner was buy you some tacos.
Neither you or Nate were particularly extroverted, but conversation was so easy with him. It felt so much more comfortable than with other guys you’d dated. And you hated that you already felt so clingy towards Nate, but he was acting the same way. Maybe this was what you both got for those three years of suppressed feelings.
“Ugh, so you’re really going to be gone for the entire weekend for hockey? How am I supposed to keep myself entertained?”
He laughed at that, “You’ll probably just drunk snapchat me the whole time. But if you’re up for it tonight, you should come over for a bit. You know, to make up for this weekend.”
“Ok I might end up falling asleep on you, but I can’t turn that offer down.”
“Wouldn’t be the first time,” he countered.
The two of you decided to put on a movie. You intentionally sat down just close enough to Nate to be touching. You were barely through the opening scene when you felt his hand sliding up your thigh.
“Couldn’t even make it five minutes in huh?” you said, while looking up at him.
“Well,” he bit his lip, “maybe if you weren’t sitting there teasing me.”
“Me? Teasing?” you feigned offense.
“Sitting this close to me and trying way too hard to focus on the movie? While looking that good? Definitely teasing, Y/N.”
You raised your eyebrows at him. “Fine,” you said, closing what little gap there was between you and practically sitting in his lap as you leaned in for a kiss. You started the kiss slowly, wrapping your hands around his neck. Nate followed suit, one hand running through your hair and the other squeezing on your upper thigh.
He deepened the kiss, speeding up a bit. You’d kissed Nate before, but that was in the morning when your head was pounding from the mistakes of the night before. But this time felt different, fiery and a bit hungry. And honestly? You’d be perfectly content to just sit there and make out with him for like, hours, which was weird. Your roommate had told you that one of her hookups had “the lips of an angel,” which was hilarious, but now you were beginning to understand it.
Nate squeezed harder on your thigh, causing you to whimper. You looked him up and down, swollen lips and his dark eyes locked on you. He pulled you back in quickly, moving his hands under your sweatshirt and settling at the clasp of your bra. And as you were thinking about how ridiculously turned on you were, Nate pulled away, leaving you looking at him with puppy dog eyes.
“Uh, sorry, I think we should probably go to my room so Tyson doesn’t walk in on us like this.”
Right. Roommates.
You laughed, following him back to his room, “Bold of you to assume that I’m the type to fuck on the first date. I will gladly crash here though, you’ve got a pretty good mattress.”
Nate gave you a look, but couldn’t keep himself from grinning, “God, you’re such a tool.”
“Yeah, but I’m your tool,” you said, grinning back as Nate laid down, gesturing for you to come join him.
You did just that, rolling over to be closer to him as the two of you alternated between making out and talking about life until your eyes started to feel heavy.
_________
You woke up to laughter from the kitchen. Those boys. You sighed, rolling over and wishing for 10 more minutes of sleep. If it wasn’t for recent events with Nate, you’d probably believe it if he told you that he was dating Tyson. They acted like an old married couple, even more so than you and Layna.
You slipped out of Nate’s big t-shirt you’d worn as pajamas, and back into your leggings and one of his hoodies. The hockey team gave him so many, the least you could do was take a few of them off his hands. At least, that’s the excuse you gave Nate.
“Morning babe,” Nate said as you walked into the kitchen. You gave him a half awake smile and a kiss on the cheek.
“Okay, so you guys are disgusting. Y/N, or should I say new roommate, are you going to start paying me for rent or...” said Tyson, in a way that only he could. Nate was making himself coffee as you sat down on the stool next to Tyson.
“At least let me have some food or something before you start attacking me.”
“Nate makes a mean omelette, but the rule is that I get omelette priority over girls.”
“Nate can cook?” you asked, genuinely surprised since your expectations for college boys were quite low.
“Not at all, he’s only figured out omelettes so far,” Tyson said as the two of you shared a laugh.
“I’m so glad the two of you can bond at my expense,” Nate scowled, coming up behind you to rub your back anyways. You looked up at him and had to use all of the willpower you had not to kiss him.
“You guys are like a fucking Hallmark movie,” Tyson huffed.
“Don’t you have to like, pack or something?” Nate chirped back, going over to tend to his coffee.
“Don’t you?”
You broke into a fit of giggles, Tyson and Nate doing the same. And as you were trying to compose yourself, you noticed Nate, focused on you and softly smiling. The sun had just started to peek through the window, making his eyes sparkle a little bit, and you couldn’t help but smile right back at him.
You could definitely get used to this.

Burn Out
SO @casaharrington had this awesome HC about Sloan and Cameron finding love in each other after Ferris just burns them out so without further ado here is my interpretation of how that played out
Words: 1993 Chapters: 1/1 Language: English
Fandoms: Ferris Bueller’s Day Off
Characters: Ferris Bueller, Cameron Frye, Sloane Petterson
Relationships: Sloane Peterson x Ferris Bueller , Sloan Petterson x Cameron Frye
“You are a child!” Sloane screamed as she launched a little league trophy across the room. “Would you relax?” Ferris pleaded from the safety of the other side of the room. Sloane let out a slew of curses as she continued on her tirade around the bedroom. Lately their home had become a battlefield, usually, Ferris would say or do something that would set Sloane off but today was different, there was a fierceness to her that frightened Ferris, he had never seen such a fire in her eyes. He watched her for a moment as if she was a part of a movie he was seeing as if he wasn’t an active participant in his own relationship. She was saying something but he wasn’t listening, but that was the problem, wasn’t it? He never listened.
Suddenly the fire was extinguished from Sloane’s eyes and she collapsed in a heap on the floor. For a moment the two were as still as a painting and then Sloane took a shaky breath as tears fell steadily onto the carpet, “You’ve burnt me out, baby. You’ve just burnt me out.” She was sobbing now, and Ferris took the time to truly look at her, and it was clear, she was exhausted. For a moment the young man just stood almost dumbfounded by the sudden surrender of his girlfriend. For all the years he had known her, he had never seen her so utterly devastated. “Please don’t cry, you know I can’t stand it when you cry,” he offered this as he stepped toward her like he was offering a scrap of food to a street dog he had found and taken pity on.
“I just can’t do this anymore,” Sloane’s voice hitched in the back of her throat and as Ferris joined her on the floor she crawled into his lap trying to find solace in the place she had once thought of as home. “I know,” he replied quietly, “it seems like all I do lately is make you cry, maybe Cameron was right.” At this Sloane sat up, she hadn’t heard Ferris mention that name in almost four years not since the two had gotten into a screaming match that had left Ferris in need of a new place to live. Sloane thought back to that night, she had been there of course back then she accompanied Ferris more often than his own shadow, they were inseparable. The fight had started over something small, maybe it was the unwashed dishes or a red sock ruining a load of white laundry, Sloane couldn’t quite remember, but she did remember what Cameron had said just before slamming the door on the two of them, “You can’t keep treating people like this, Ferris. You just can’t! Someday you’re going to wake up all alone because all you do is suck the life out of people.”
Just before he had shut the door, Cameron had looked at Sloane almost as if to say, “this is your chance, get out now!” but Sloane had stayed by Ferris because of course, she did. She was young and reckless and stupid and he had been her everything. Now four years later Sloane had started to realize she may have made a mistake. “You’re not a bad man, Ferris Bueller.” she whispered, resting her head on his shoulder, “But I don’t think I can- I won’t do this anymore.” Ferris sighed kissing the top of her head, “I know, and I won’t make you.” Sloane picked herself up from the floor and started towards the door. She turned back to look at the man who she had spent the past six years devoting herself to. She had truly given him everything, and he in return had sucked the life out of her. “Promise you’ll write,” was all Ferris could muster as she headed to her car.
Sloane spent the next six months with her parents, sleeping in her childhood bedroom but everywhere she turned there was a reminder of Ferris. Senior prom pictures, varsity letters, old diaries, everywhere she turned it was as if the universe was trying to shame her. You weren’t strong enough, these things seemed to shout at her, you should have made it work! Each time these ghosts came to haunt her she would tell herself, again and again, she had tried, she had, but you can’t give anything if you yourself are empty. Eventually, she began to believe the things she told herself to help her sleep at night and with every day the piece of her that she felt she had left with Ferris in their bedroom that night started to return to her. She began to write again and to draw, hobbies that she had given up in order to spend more time with Ferris.
One particular spring day Sloane found herself people watching and journaling in a coffee shop just outside the city when a familiar voice spoke from somewhere behind her, “Sloane?” She turned and was startled to see Cameron standing behind her. If she hadn’t heard such a distinct voice she wouldn’t have recognized him. He had grown a few inches taller, his shoulders were broader and his face had lost the roundness that it had had in his youth. He had grown into his features more, looking more refined in nature. His eyes, however, remained the same. Cameron had always had kind eyes, they looked soft and warm like melted chocolate. They were the kind of eyes that made you comfortable around him even when he himself tended to be anxious around other people.
Sloane stood up suddenly, caught off guard by the seemingly magical reappearance of her childhood best friend. “Cameron?” The two stood for a moment taking each other in as if they were just encountering another human for the first time. “I can't believe- what are the odds?” Cameron said as he let out a soft chuckle, Sloane had forgotten just how much she loved his laugh. For the next four hours, the two sat in the coffee shop, drinking and reminiscing and laughing at jokes only they would find funny. There was something different about Cameron, Sloane thought, he had this confidence about him she had never seen before. It wasn’t the type of confidence Ferris had, the type that made people cooky, no, Cameron had a confidence about him now that made Sloane feel safe. With Ferris, it had felt like she was always running to catch up to him but now with Cameron as they sat and talked she felt like she was on solid ground.
Eventually, the cafe closed and Cameron insisted on buying Sloane dinner which she accepted and as the night wore on the stiffness that had surrounded them earlier faded away. It felt as if the past four years had never happened. After dinner, Cameron invited Sloane to see his new apartment, although he warned her he was still unpacking to which Sloane insisted on helping since he had so kindly treated her to dinner. The two arrived and it was just as Cameron said, boxes were piled neatly against every wall. There was a mattress on the floor in the living room but it had only a single blanket and pillow accompanying it. “When did you move in?” Sloane asked. Cameron bit his lip and looked away before saying, “Six weeks.”
“Six weeks?” Sloane cried, “Cam, nothing is unpacked, how have you been living like this for six weeks?” She moved toward the boxes in the kitchen and began unpacking. “I don’t know, work has been crazy and I guess I don’t really mind the emptiness of it.” He walked into the kitchen but made a show and hanging his head in shame. “Well, I’m here let me help.” Sloane began to unpack glasses and plates while Cameron finally unrolled the area rug he had bought for the living. He also finally unpacked his stereo and popped a tape into the cassette. “Good Vibrations” started to bump through the speakers and as she unpacked Sloane rocked around the kitchen in time with the music.
Cameron soon joined her and the two danced together while still attempting to get dining ware in the correct places. Sloane spun around just as the chorus began but fumbled and dropped a plate sending shards of porcelain all over the kitchen floor. She bent down in an attempt to begin to clean up but instead sliced open the tender skin of her hand. “Shit!” she exclaimed instinctively bringing her hand to her mouth. Cameron ran to the bathroom and eventually returned with a band-aid. He gently placed Sloane’s hand in his carefully clearing away the mess and delicately placed the band-aid on her torn skin. For a moment after he had cleaned the cut Cameron studied Sloane’s hand in his, gently rubbing his thumb over her fingers.
“Can I tell you something?” Cameron asked quietly still holding her hand. “Anything” Sloane replied. “I had the biggest crush on you growing up.” Sloane blushed and pulled her hand away. “Really? Why didn’t you say anything?” Cameron looked away for a moment before answering, “Well, I mean Ferris had his eye on you and you know him, he gets what he wants. Besides-” Cameron started but went silent. “Besides what?” Sloane prompted, “Besides,” Cameron bit his lip again, “besides you are amazing. You’re beautiful and smart and funny and I just didn’t want to waste your time.”
“What do you mean waste my time?”
“Sloane, you’re too good for a guy like me or at least the guy I was. You deserved that confident smart-ass. There was no way I was going to even attempt to try and tell you how I felt and then you and Ferris started going steady and I didn’t want to ruin the friendship we had. Plus he made you happy and God, I would have done just about anything to see you happy so if that meant seeing you date my best friend, then that’s what had to happen.”
“So you never told me how you felt because you thought I was happy?” Sloane asked, her nose begins to sting as she felt tears starting to form but she willed herself not to cry, she wouldn’t cry over Ferris anymore. “Well, yeah, I mean, weren't you?” Sloane paused no one had ever really asked her that question and she assumed it was because she appeared happy. “I mean I was, for a while. Ferris is- well, Ferris. I was happy but it was like I was stuck on a sitcom we just kept reliving the same plot over and over again. It was always about him, he was always the star of the show and I guess when we were younger I didn't mind it that much. I liked dating that cool popular guy but after a while, that stuff doesn’t matter anymore.” Cameron nodded, “I know the feeling.” The two stood for a moment in the empty kitchen, before Cameron spoke again, “Are you happy now?” Sloane nodded and smiled as a single tear escaped her lashes.
“Yes, honestly today has been one of the best days I’ve had in a while.” Cameron took his thumb and softly wiped away the tear, leaving his hand cradling Sloane's cheek, “Can I kiss you?” Sloane didn’t answer, instead, she brought her lips to Cameron. He kissed her slow and soft and delicate as if he was afraid of hurt her. Slowly his arms wrapped around her pulling her body closer to his and Sloane could feel his heart thudding in his chest while her own heartbeat roared in her ears. After some time they parted and Sloane let out a long shaky breath. Cameron looked at her with concern, “I’m sorry I shouldn’t have done that-” Sloane placed a small kiss on his lips, “You should have done that ages ago.”

Allswell Review: Is The Allswell The Best Bed-In-A-Box Budget Option?
This article is sponsored by Allswell. While our team received this product free of cost, the opinions and statements below are those of our writer’s experience. Freshome may collect a share of sales from the links on this page.
Did you know that we spend about a third of our lives sleeping? With numbers like those, it’s no surprise that most of us want to invest in a mattress that’s comfy-yet-supportive. However, affordability also has to be a concern. That’s where the bed-in-a-box mattress craze – and the Allswell – come into play.
I’ve had a bed-in-a-box before and, to be honest, I wasn’t impressed. So when Allswell contacted me about the opportunity to try out their namesake offering, I jumped at the chance. I wanted to see once and for all if these budget options are worth it or if it’s better to just save your pennies for the real thing.
Here’s how it went:
The Allswell is Walmart’s answer to the bed-in-a-box trend. Image: Allswell
What is Allswell?
Allswell is a design-centric home brand under the helm of Walmart. This online-only retailer is meant to be a one-stop shop for all your bedding needs. In addition to the mattresses that we’ll be discussing in this article, Allswell also offers several collections of bedding, all of which were designed by lifestyle experts like HGTV host Genevieve Gorder. Plus, they’re totally Instagram-worthy.
But aesthetics aside, Allswell is concentrated on bringing you quality sleep products at a fraction of the normal price. The brand’s mission statement says it all: “We believe that a luxurious sleep experience shouldn’t come at a luxury price.”
Right now, there are two distinct Allswell products. Image: Allswell
Your Allswell purchase options
The Allswell line has gone through a few changes since its inception in February 2018. As of right now, they offer two distinct options: the Allswell and the Allswell Luxe Hybrid. Here are some specs on each model:
The Allswell
$245 – $420, depending on size
10″ thick
Hybrid foam and coil technology
High-performance memory foams
Individually wrapped coils
CertiPUR-US® certified foams
The Allswell Luxe Hybrid
$295 – $745, depending on size
12″ thick
Hybrid foam and coil technology
High-performance memory foams
Individually wrapped coils
CertiPUR-US® certified foams
Built-in plush topper
Cool-to-the-touch top layer
It’s worth noting that both Allswell offerings come with a 100-night free trial period and a 10-year limited warranty, so if you’re skeptical about buying a bed-in-a-box, the company has your back.
The Allswell set-up process
For my review, I was given the basic Allswell option. But no matter which product you ultimately end up choosing, Allswell is committed to making the set-up process as easy as possible.
For $99, the company offers a “White Glove Service,” which means they will send someone to your home to set the mattress up for you. If you choose to waive your right to the 100-night trial period, they will also remove your old mattress for free. However, if you want to hang onto your trial period, they’ll still take care of your old mattress for an additional $49.
Normally, I’m all for convenience services like these, but this time, I wanted to give you an honest picture of what set-up might look like so I opted out and chose to set up my own mattress instead.
The packaging
Within a few days of ordering, a box arrived at my door that looked like this:
The Allswell comes packaged in one neat box.
In case you can’t read it from the picture above, the box comes with a warning.
The warning is true. It’s heavier than it looks.
It says, “BE CAREFUL: I’m heavier than I look.” The warning is true. This sucker is heavy.
I’m not very strong, and I had two people helping me move this mattress up a flight of stairs to my room and it wasn’t easy. I’d say you’d need at least two people to move it. Otherwise, it may be worth investing in the “White Glove” service.
The set-up
Once we got it upstairs, the next step was to check out what was in the box.
The mattress comes all wrapped up in a little tube.
The mattress comes wrapped up in a little vacuum-sealed tube like this.
One interesting thing about my experience was that the mattress was the only thing inside the box. There were no instructions or anything else.
In doing research for this article, I’ve gathered that other reviewers also received instructions and a cutting tool, aimed at helping you open the packaging without accidentally puncturing the mattress inside. I didn’t see anything like that in my box, but it could have been a fluke.
Luckily, I was able to cut through the packaging just fine with scissors and no puncture wounds were sustained. Once you unseal the packaging, this happens:
The mattress will begin to inflate as soon as you open it.
The mattress began to inflate pretty much as soon as it was unsealed.
When reading the instructions online later – again, there were no instructions in the box – I learned that I was supposed to have placed the tube in the middle of my bedframe before unsealing it. I imagine that this would have made positioning the mattress even easier, but we were able to lift it on without much of an issue.
When it’s all set, it looks like this:
The Allswell, out of the box.
The waiting period
I’ve had bed-in-a-box mattresses before so I knew that they usually need some time to inflate fully before you can sleep on them. I suspected that the Allswell would be the same way, so I did a little digging online.
I was right. On the Allswell website, it says that the mattress should inflate fully within a few minutes of opening, but that the process could take up to 48 hours.
In the end, I chose to wait for the full 48 hours before sleeping on the mattress – and I was glad I did.
The Allswell, fully inflated.
Hopefully, you can see the difference between this picture and the one above, but I’d say the mattress inflated at least an inch over the two days that I left it to rise.
From there, it was just a matter of putting sheets on and getting ready for bed.
Ready for testing.
The Allswell sleep experience
For my review, I decided to break my mattress experience down into a few, frequently-tested categories. They are:
Firmness and feel
The Allswell is a hybrid memory foam mattress and it certainly sleeps like one. At 4’11” and 104 lbs, I’m smaller than average, but I still sank into the mattress just enough to feel cradled by it. To me, it’s on the softer end of the firmness scale, but I’ve never had a memory foam mattress before, so take that with a grain of salt. That said, I didn’t have any problems sleeping on the mattress and, after about a week, I got used to the feel of the foam topper.
I’m a chronic stomach sleeper, which is probably why I prefer a firmer mattress, but in an effort to give you a thorough review, I made a point of sleeping in a few different positions.
Side sleepers, whose positioning is particularly rough on the joints, will be happy to know that the Allswell provides more-than-sufficient support for your hips, knees and shoulders. I tend to have back pain when I spend all night on my side and, notably, I didn’t this time. Back sleepers, on the other hand, should know that while you do feel cradled by the mattress, I didn’t experience that stuck-in-the-mud feeling that sometimes occurs when sleeping on a super soft mattress.
Motion isolation
Motion isolation refers to how much you can feel your partner’s movements from the other side of the bed. Ideally, a mattress will isolate motion well and your sleep won’t be disturbed if your partner gets up in the middle of the night.
Luckily, the new person I’m dating was kind enough to come over and help me test the Allswell out. All in all, it performed very well. I couldn’t feel small movements like shifting weight at all and could only feel changes of position lightly. I was even able to get out of bed without stirring them.
Edge support
I feel like the edge support test was tailor-made for me. This is essentially an evaluation of how well the mattress springs back after you put your full weight on its edges. I mostly sleep on the very edge of my mattress and I sit on it to get dressed most mornings. Needless to say, my mattress’s edge support gets a workout.
Unfortunately, I did start to notice some slight sloping in the area where I tend to put most of my body weight. It may just be my mattress, but if your mattress edges also put in a lot of hard time, you may want to go with a mattress that has more reinforcement.
Heat retention
I’m one of those people who is always cold, so I’m probably not the best person to be speaking on heat retention. That said, I didn’t have any problems with feeling hot in the middle of the night. However, if you really prefer to feel cool while you sleep, you may want to look into the Luxe Hybrid model. That one comes with a cool-to-the-touch top layer that allows for better airflow.
Off-gassing
Off-gassing, for those who don’t know, is an industry term for a certain odor that is sometimes an unpleasant side effect of bed-in-a-box mattresses. It comes from the way the foam is made, how long it’s left to cure and how long it is in the package. Fortunately, I didn’t have any issue with a smell, especially after I let the mattress sit for two days before using it. However, for those who do, the smell is supposed to disappear within a few days.
Durability
Since the Allswell has only been on the market for less than a year and I’ve only had my model for a few weeks, it’s hard to take a guess at how well the mattress will hold up in the long run. That being said, other than the one spot along the edge of the mattress, I haven’t seen or felt any beginning signs of sagging since I got my mattress.
The Allswell is an above average mattress option, especially for the price. Image: Allswell
The bottom line
All in all, the Allswell is an above average mattress option, especially when you take the price into account. It performed well in nearly all the areas that I tested. Though it is a little soft for me, personally, I’m going to keep it. It honestly did change my negative opinion on bed-in-a-box mattresses. I would recommend it to anyone who’s in the market.

Allswell Review: Is The Allswell The Best Bed-In-A-Box Budget Option? https://ift.tt/2E5hHdk

Death Continued: Part 2
I need to be up in 4 hours, and the only reason why I am even up writing this so late is because my roomie is still gaming and I can’t eVER GET SLEEP. Which is about as much as I will speak of him because what if he finds this or something and I don’t want to deal with shit, I would rather just bottle all this shit up and deal…
There is just so much to say about this lady and everything that happened, but I’ve already dragged on more than anticipated, and I am so freaken sleepy… Gods he chews his fucking food so loud I can hear it through my headphones don’t even get me started on him slurping all his remotely moist food… I also just need to forget it all.
Now… Moving in was a bit strange, and looking back now I should have taken what I first experienced as a million signs: She didn’t have the room cleaned up as she had told me, she didn’t have a key prepared as promised and so took the key from a friend who visited nearly daily, I was told by my partner that she would drink at night and he would catch her dancing in her room, she often didn’t notice him (or me) come in later in the day, and she wouldn’t respond to messages often and would forget plans/times.
Day and night she would blast country music through two radios, and after I got internet hooked up it was 2 radios and YouTube playing Country and Adele…
She would smoke weed all day, then anywhere between 2pm and 6pm she would break out the gallon of whiskey. Didn’t matter who was over (which included children she would watch), she would start dozing off in her seat or shuffle to her room, then wake up between midnight and 3am to make a mess in the kitchen making food. I needed to stay up to be sure she wouldn’t burn the place down… I’ve woken up to smoke from her forgetting food or not paying attention.
I started taking up watching the girl she was “hired” to watch as things got worse. Her father paid me a couple of times because of this. An 8 y/o girl should not have to go to someone to say they found shit in their babysitter’s underwear that was left on the bathroom floor. I despise children, but I will care for them when need be…
Her financial problems were discovered to be caused be her excessive smoking and alcohol addiction. Random people would show up at the house for mini parties, walk in unannounced, throughout the summer she was just leave for a week or more without word to stay with her 20-30 y/o boyfriend and left me to care for her two dogs, cat, and millions of plants, and I had to stop searching for a job because she would have a freak out and her drinking would get worse. I am too nice for my own good.
The agreement was that we weren’t going anywhere until spring. I was not informed until some time after settling in that she was selling the house. This was not the first time I was left in the dark… She was separated from her husband (still married) who lived elsewhere with his bitch of a girlfriend. He owned the house.
As time went on, the move date kept fluctuating and growing ever closer. The father of the girl I would watch over eventually moved in after running into housing trouble, but barely stayed a month as he over heard our “landlady” talking with her husband and head him say that the two of us leaving by the end of the month was too soon.
He found a place close by and was able to move.
Now let’s throw some vague numbers around: Landlady was getting $450 from the both of us (and soon she would be getting rent from another dude that I will bitch about later), $20 whenever she “watched” his daughter (even when he lived with us), her husband paid a couple bills that I forget, as well as gave her a check each month of $500.
That’s roughly $1,500 a month, as well as food stamps (and saving $50 on the internet I paid for, which she needed for her phone). She admitted to only spending a hundred or two on bills, and $30 for her phone. What of the rest of the money? Mysteryy~
[(I done did fuck. Had these in Queue and I was going to rearrange them later, but I forgot and so it’s just going to show up once a day in order how I wrote it. It was a busy-ass day… Yesterday. It’s 1am again. Wanted to proof-read more, though. I suppose this will show up the 3rd day, soooo… Whatever)]
Shortly after the father left, the old shit-stain moved in… Gods I want to just rant about this disgusting, lazy asshole. Obnoxious, overbearing, couldn’t listen, wouldn’t, wouldn’t stop touching me or insulting because he was SOOOOO funny. Fuckin’ hated that unappreciative ass-wipe. Seriously. I gave up my king bed so he didn’t have to sleep on an air mattress at the new place, and he return the favor by complaining it was too big, leaning the king mattress against the wall for a shelf, stacked the two twins that served as the box frame, then set the air mattress on top. I slept in my closet on a pile of blankets and pillows; Granted, I did make it pretty damn comfortable and warm. Still hated him.
Continuing at the first house: I was back with Corey again. Our fights were increasing, and so was his kindness and heart. As well as his demands… He was more accepting and encouraging of who I was, a bit more respectful, but he was also more scarce in his visits. We also had the greatest day ever hiking Table Rock: Taking hours to buy him some damn shorts, running up the trail, his astonishment in the world around him (he hadn’t done anything outdoorsy since he was young, aside from taking his son to the beach or some shit), watching him face his fear of heights and stress at my boldness to stand closer to the edge, rushing from whatever set of eyes he apparently saw and we made our dark decent down (I tried to warn him…), finding a break in the trees just as the largest orange moon we had ever seen emerged from behind a mountain - standing together in complete awe… *ahem* I shouldn’t be reminiscing on such fond times… I shouldn’t be trying to defend the good in him… Maybe I just feel it makes me more an imbecile to not express all that was positive? There is no excuse…
His existence gave me a distraction from the world I was trapped in… We were completely different in so many ways, fought constantly, connected so well, shared special interests, and of course, my bleeding heart held him close.
He was cruel, impatient, full of Italian anger and old-fashioned judgments, and, again, sexually demanding. He often made it seem unintentional, played innocent, and claimed restraint, but I knew what he was trying to do. A part of me wanted to be, well, wanted. At 18 I was taught that the only way I could earn love, the only way someone could love me, is if I pleased my partner. This increases with each partner, as I feel more and more obligated to please them and that is the only reason I exist to them.
I believe my only purpose in life is to serve others in one way or another, and if I have nothing left to give or if I need any little thing at all, I am a complete waste of existence. What makes this worse is that I enjoy seeing people happy; I enjoy knowing that I have help bring a smile to someone, from a lover to a stranger.
He took full advantage of this… More so than any other…
Every Holiday throughout 2016 was ruined because of him, including my birthday, and from July to March the landlady intensified. Save for Halloween… She was a part of this, but he ruined it two days before… In my next post I with paste the vent post I made on my alt FB account that goes into further detail and is also fairly vague. I just went into some detail about Corey here to get it out of the way, and I cut contact with him after I moved.
Recap after side rant: I had nowhere else to go, needed to stay home to help landlady deal with her shit and help keep her from further spiraling while trying to encourage progress in her .ordeals, she kept changing our move month and wouldn’t work with me in actually finding a new place to live or even look on her own, she kept changing which town she wanted to move to which left me without any idea of where I was going to live or where to apply for work, and she wouldn’t even pack her stupid house.
In order to spend my birthday with someone I had to offer to pay for their meal; thankfully, the father from earlier worked where we went to eat and he paid for the drink I ordered. He’s a fairly nice dude, just a complete dweeb. And ho-bag. Bro could learn a thing or two. Find some structure. He’s a bit of a mooch, but he’s not an ass; He’s a fairly caring goat.
The friend I went to lunch with ended up buying us tickets to see the Grumps live in Portland, and we were able to stay a night with my favorite asshole… Gods… He will never leave my heart… Despite everything, he is the one I will never let go of. I hate him so much… My love for him will never die, no matter how far we grow apart, or how many I love after him; We never had the chance to be together (which makes me sound eVEN MORE PATHETIC I KNOW), and it crushes me to know he doesn’t feel as fondly for me. My Puppu… Words…
A few days before we headed up to Portland my friend got into an accident and after mulling some options over, she decided to rent a car for a couple days. I offered to help her out, and she agreed that I help with gas and maybe a part of the payment.
I wasn’t feeling too well from all the anxiety at home and Corey yelling at me again (especially knowing I “used to” share feelings with Puppu. We were barely back together, technically not. Didn’t even tell me he was going to be out of town for my birthday… So much drama…), I wasn’t exactly eating, and the morning after the show I was in excruciating pain, shaking uncontrollably, fairly delirious, and vomitting/dry-heaving.
This was really a bummer after enjoying the Grumps live and… Making out with Puppu in his bed while after my friend fell asleep on the couch. c.c; Just a few smooches…
I miss him so much…
The “friend” who took me to the show made me feel like absolute garbage for making her stay an extra day and call in to work, and spend money on my meds (As Puppy insisted on taking me to the Emergency Clinic). She later wanted me to pay for her rental - or at least a decent portion of it.
([And continued on tomorrow! Maybe I’ll change it to a more frequent update…)]

[TITLE]Martha Stewart Sheets[/TITLE] Bed size standards fluctuate approximately the planet. Not merely are the names of your standard sizes often diverse but even beds and mattresses aided by the similar name can have different measurements in various countries. These comforters are available in different price points, textures, and fills. They will keep you warm on cold nights and cool in the summer. That is reason why you love and favor them. It is better to look for sets that are made from the hypo fresh down sterilization process if you are prone to have allergies. Egyptian Bedding, Natural Comfort, and Signature Bedding are the best brands available for oversized king comforter. These comforters are really extremely gentle to your skin and have smooth texture of the outer surface.
Modern beds are versatile when it comes to style. All types of bed linens work with them so you can create your own personal design. Bedspreads, comforters, pillow shams and throw pillows all work nicely, in any combination. You can neatly tuck in the corners of your comforter or let it flow freely. Whether you opt for a traditional style or modern fashion, both will look wonderful on your modern bed. I mean, think about it, why in the world would one wants to buy any comforters that costs $39.99 and most likely fall apart after a week of use? You don't need to experiment, right? You are smart! There are a few steps that you should follow in order to guarantee a good nights sleep on some great sheets. First thing for you to new bedding realize is that size does indeed matter. Over the years, bed sizes have actually changed. You are no doubt familiar with the standard sizes of twin, double, queen and king, but did you know that there were such things as see this or that you could get pillow top mattresses which require an entirely different set of sheets altogether. My favorite is to have a bunch of 1X10's cut to the same length as your bed. Another option is to have thin sheets of wood cut to the same size as you box spring top. Now, the home improvement store will so these cuts for you. One choice you'll want to consider from Macy's for your basic hotel linen is their 600 thread count 100% Egyptian cotton hotel sheets. Available in queen, king and california king comforter, the detail in these fine linens make them whisper "luxury" as soon as you see and feel them. Your color choices are white, ivory, bronze and opal. The detail and tailoring of this bedding will promise you a great night's sleep. If you have a nature-theme in the room, and you are working on greens and browns, then getting a comforter set having these colors would be great. Just remember to choose the colors carefully. Without the right color combination, your room would not look that appealing. Comforters are packed tightly when shipped. Therefore, remove the comforter from its package and gently fluff it. It may take several hours or california king comforter a day to recover its fluffiness. Also, you may want to hang it on a clothesline to air outside to remove the packaging material odor. Over the lifetime of the comforter air it two or three times a year outside in cool, breezy weather. If that's not possible place it in a dryer on the fluff cycle. Dressers have different uses. You can store various items in a dresser, such as clothes, lingerie, and bathroom items. Dressers for clothes usually have wider drawers while dressers for lingerie have narrower and smaller drawers. Console tables and vanity tables are variations of dressers.
