People always forget that Axel used to be the organization’s executioner and like if I remember the members of oblivion were unnerved by his presence because that basically mean their plans were already discovered.

Axel used to be scary. Amazing.

as someone else pointed in that other post i reblogged (about the irony of lea being like ‘come on isa, you let them reduce you to THIS???’ ), axel got LUCKY. he was just as cold as saïx and the others were at first. there was no love or light in the organization.

but he was fortunate enough to be the one assigned to babysit roxas, to be graced by the light that is sora and the hearts connected to him. at the time he didn’t even want to (and i wouldn’t expect him to), but it did him a world of good. it sparked his redemption arc/ journey towards learning how to feel again and reclaim his human heart.

if it weren’t for the immediate connection he forged with roxas, he probably would’ve just stayed a ruthless and bitter killer, no better than the empty-hearted saïx. lea needs to have some humility and realize how lucky he is that the guardians of light all forgave him and welcomed them into their crew lol
