👑👑Those who know me say I'm a bit obsessed with british history etc so it'll come as no surprise that I'm way down the rabbithole today. Today is the day we almost lost this great building in 1605. This magnificent building was home of kings until a fire in 1512. Tragedy would strike again in 1834. It would be rebuilt with over a million square feet. Queen victoria reopened the building having one of the towers renamed in her honor. And then her great great granddaughter Elizabeth I would have a tower named after her(even though she cant enter part of the building) on her diamond jubilee. I could go on and on about its rich history and the actions of the men so desperate for change they were willing to kill parliament and the king to put Elizabeth Stuart, the winter queen on the throne. 👑👑 》 》 😁Qotd: tell me something you're obsessed with?
