Here is going to be one of a few places where you can read my upcoming book Collar the Wild, with a new chapter released weekly. This is a m/m erotic slice-of-life novel featuring some very horny werewolves. there's a lot i could say about the successful romance novel series by a white English lady about the "heir" to the KKK romancing a white-passing "cartel princess" named Adelita, but for whatever reason the main thing it keeps making me think of is the fact that recently a cartoon helmed by a Mexican-American woman was annouced and it was immediately denounced as being unspeakably offensive and one of the reasons given for this was the repeated assertion that having the charactes live in a place called "Terremoto Heights" ("Earthquake Heights") was like having an American show (the show is an American show) (it is set in LA) being called "9/11 Heights" because earthquakes happen in Mexico sometimes

Okay folks, hear me out

We know that there is new star wars animation in making and looking at everything happening recently I believe that there is a chance for some pre-prequel content, because:

1. We got novel in which Sifo Dyas was mentioned a few times and a comic book with Lene Kostana backstory, age, master and design (which is more info about her than we got in the cursed book)

2. Cavan Scott was ask not to write about time Rael was padawan/Time when Dooku was a young Jedi knight which suggests that there are some other plans for this period of time

3. Next year is 20th anniversary of Rots so it would be a perfect time to annouce show that could possibily explain more about the whole clones plan and how much Sifo Dyas was involved in this (because there is still some explaining to do)

4. This is just theory but I believe that Luthen Rael is Rael Averross so it is another character from this era who suddenly is getting Some attention

In conclusion there is just a few coincidence that I think might mean something

for as much shit Tsunade gives Jiraiya for writing smut, she does exactly tha same, but unlike him, she doesn't annouces she's a pervert.

i doin't know what kind of setting does Jiraiya's novels take place in, but Tsunade novels are all based in a hospitalm her novels are basically what would happen if fifty shades of gray and grey's anathomy existed in the ninja world and they had a baby, but with more acuracy on the medical side f things.

or you can swap everrything i just wrote and instead of Tsunade is Shizune who writes femdom BDSM medical dramas for profit, this way she can placat her fanfic writer side while also making some cash on teh side.

and if Shizune is the one writing the novels, so the fact the main female character being a ill tempered blond with big lady lumps is mere coincidence.

i'd argue that tsunade gives jiraiya shit for peeping on women in hot springs and public bathrooms and so on and not for writing porn but lmfao i LOVE the thought of shizune secretly writing bdsm porn. she's so unsuspecting, it's perfect. BIG ANNOUCEMENT

It's happening, I'm slowing down a bit. I know a lot of you have already probably noticed, but damn, it had to happen eventually. I'm really struggling right now to feel inspired to write certain fics, especially when I feel obligated to (TFM, AYNM, e.t.c.) So this upcoming week I'm chasing the winds of inspiration.

I've done it before, and with 2 new blorbos (Duke Leto and Basil Stitt) I need to work with them so I can get back to your regularly scheduled programming. I also have a fic coming out for the month of October that I'd like to get working on so I'm going to loosely table the other fics very temporarily. If I feel inspired to work on them I will, but just...bear with me while I work through and keep following what makes me happy.

I'm sorry for doing that it's just what I need to do right now, I've been so busy I don't get a lot of time for the things I enjoy so I need to prioritize.

TSTS Annoucement

I was hoping this wouldn't happen. Like, I always knew it could happen -I remember seeing this happen to a bunch of fanfiction writers when I was a kid- but it really sucks.

So, I'm crazy burnt out from writing AND Cuphead has stopped being my current hyperfixation. (I'm also on different medications now- which probably doesn't help.)

Even the thought of Cuphead right now gives me pretty bad stress, because of how far behind I've fallen in writing The Strength and The Sight.

I know I made a post literally a few weeks ago saying that I was back and all that stuff, but... After I sat down and started trying to write I began to realize that not only was I badly burnt out, but also The Strength and The Sight's plot/focus/etc has changed multiple times during the process of me writing it. This has led to a LOT of inconsistencies in terms of the plot, character arcs, and in general, the pacing ended up being all over the place because of it. 

For instance, Chalice is supposed to be one of the main characters, but her role in the story has changed a bunch AND I ended up focusing on her a lot less than characters who were supposed to be side characters- like Ginette. (I love Gin, I swear, but she wasn't supposed to be as big of a focus as she ended up being. -That mainly came about from me getting super obsessed with her character and forgetting my other characters- In multiple chapters, she even overshadows the brothers. Oops. xD)

This all has led me to realize: Even if I wasn't burnt out- I simply cannot continue writing a story that I know has inconsistencies. 

So, does this mean that The Strength and The Sight is over? No. No, it does not.

This post is me announcing that I will NOT be taking a break or canceling the story in the traditional "burnt-out fanfic writer" sense. Instead, I will be REWRITING the entire story- starting with outlining the plot from the beginning in lots of detail and sticking to the plot I set.

This rewritten version will be filled with full-color illustrations, more focused, and A LOT shorter. While mulling over the idea of a rewrite, I realized just how needlessly long TSTS has become. Like, the book which I use as a reference and inspiration, Scythe by Neal Shusterman, is only 102k words, while mine- which is not even halfway done- is 114K. (There are a lot more examples of my word count v.s. other books, but I won't bore you all with those numbers.)

BUT, I don't want to leave you guys in the dark while I begin this intense process of rewriting TSTS. So, instead, I want to continue posting on this current fic as a sort of "journal" of my progress. I know a lot of you guys are writers yourselves, so this could be a super cool opportunity for you guys to see my process and learn some tips and tricks along the way.

My long-term goal is to post a probably 100% finished redone version of The Strength and The Sight when The Cuphead Show is renewed and the new season releases on Netflix. (I'm manifesting so hard, IT WILL BE RENEWED I KNOW IT) Or I'll try and release it if/when Studio MDHR releases another Cuphead thing/game. Whatever comes first.

Until then, I'll be using this as my progress journal. I'll be posting rough sketches (because I'll also be doing updated illustrations!), rough outlines (with redacted spoilers, lol), and more! 

I know this is probably really disappointing. I'm kicking myself quite a bit here and wishing I'd been able to finish TSTS before I got burnt out, but I believe that everything happens for a reason. My hope is that TSTS will be a much better and higher-quality novel because of this rewrite.

Thank you for your patience and I'm truly sorry for all the delays. I promise that I'll do everything I can to make The Strength and The Sight worth the wait.

She's currently a junior at True Performance School of the Arts. Lucia hopes to be an acclaimed screenwriter someday, maybe also directing as well.

Her mom is Puerto Rican while her dad is Mexican.

Lucia can speak some Spanish, but is also able to follow through an entire conversation.

She has been both to Puerto Rico & Mexico during the summer as a kid. One favorite memory was when she went to a fireworks show in San Juan when she was eight.

Lucia has unofficial acting credits! Her on-screen debut was as the baby being born to her parents' characters on the telenovela Las Pasiones de Mirabel. She was also a covergirl- not exactly, but she & her parents were the cover story in People en Espanol as a birth annoucement!

Through her padrino's connections, Lucia was able to meet a few Latin celebrities including Vibora, an up-and-coming Cuban-American rapper.

Birds of Paradise are her favorite flowers!

Lucia isn't really that close with her mother's side of the family. She's confused as to why her mom & abuela won't talk too much about their family history or certain family members.

She keeps a framed photo of her abuelo (her mother's father) when he was young in her bedroom. He died when her mother was just a few days shy of her quinceañera.

Lucia has been on the set of too many telenovelas to count! She has also been her parents' date to the Paloma Awards, an annual event that awards the best telenovela actors & actresses.

She has been best friends with Leonie and America since they were all eight years old, where they all went to the same Sunday school. Lucia became friends with Remy during her freshman year of high school.

At her quinceañera, Marc Anthony performed while Leonie & America were part of her court.

Lucia is really close to her abuela. They go out shopping and they also knit, gossip, & watch telenovelas together. Her favorite activity that she likes doing with her abuela is when they make tostones and arepas!

One favorite pastime of Lucia's is reading. Sure she loves the sweet & fluffy YA contemporaries and romances that litter the back of her closet, but she also doesn't mind delving into the magical realism of latin writing greats like Isabel Allende, Gabriel García Márquez, and Julia Alvarez.

She had her first kiss when she was nine at her Communion party with a boy named Joel.

Lucia's first real relationship was with a guy named Chris Del Toro during her sophmore year. They dated for about six months before he & his family moved to Washington State.

She has a secret tattoo- a small pair of dove wings expertly hidden by her right ear. Lucia got it done a couple months ago along with Remy and America, who also got secret tattoos.

At the beginning of junior year, Lucia began crushing on Michael Bernardi, an aspiring photographer! Aside from a few smiles & brief interactions, they've never had an actual conversation.

As a baby, Lucia recieved a gold & diamond necklace with a dove charm by her father. She now almost always wears it!

She has a part time job at Sunshine Swirl, a frozen yogurt shop. The shop is in America's neighborhood, so her place is the first stop for Lucia before she goes home.

Her and her friends love the movie Mean Girls so much that they're all dedicated to wear pink on wednesdays every week till graduation!

Just realized we havent gotten any annoucement for a new saga of books yet, only the fnaf movie novel.

There's a huge chance that help wanted 2 might be the end of the original lore since It would be the tenth game.

We might be getting to a New Universe soon.

Like I highly doubt the franchise is going to end even more with how big It is right now, like It's extremely mainstream right now.

BUT It lowkey seems like a perfect time for New Reteling after 10 games, Seems like a perfect time to end the old one and suffer the cicle yet again.

Greetings!

Hope that You're enjoying Your time, as warmer evenings come by and night sky lasts shorter. It's first annoucement, about nearest future of my works.

For now, I have few things planned to review and I'm sure going to treat Your horror-craving hearts. These are two movies, which I'd like to keep a secret for now (One of them is from 2014 and the second one is film adaptation of a book, which I'll hopefuly review too one day!)

There are also of course books, as some of You may prefer. I'm starting with our classic, "Dracula" that I find to be interesting story to read. Another novel to be covered up - which I finished last weekend - is "The Crime and The Punishment", which requires just several little amendments!

About amendments, I'll hopefuly find time to improve the language in previous reviews.
