It's another D&D character one! This one is about Nova, or rather her absence. It's about the people she's left behind, her parents (Empathy and Oromis Crowe) and her love, and how they are doing as her adventure is starting. It was inspired by the song Orange Juice by Noah Kahan and the real warm feeling of being welcomed home after being gone and being made to feel welcomed and understood when you maybe didn't know what to expect.

Between Empathy’s arm coming around his shoulder and Crowe’s hand on his knee, he wasn’t sure when he would manage to compose himself.  “It’s alright, dear,” she murmured. “It’s alright. It’s hard to go on as if nothing happened when your heart is gone.” “Your whole world has changed, several times over,” Crowe squeezed his knee. The strength from the slighter elf was reassuring in its own right. “The only one who expected you to carry on right away was you.” He couldn’t remember his parents. He barely remembered being a child. He liked to think that if he’d had parents, they’d have been like Empathy and Oromis.  He knew he would probably leave later that night, warmed by their comfort and their coffee, with Nova’s bundles of letters swapped for his own. Empathy had always kept the cottage clean for when they got home from a voyage. He’d be able to flop into a bed that was solid and clean, and read letters written in a hand just as familiar as his own while that orange scarf -- Nova’s scarf -- was clutched close. And then he would see where the morning would take him.

my little doggie had her annual exam today and she needed premedication before because she needed a nail trim and nail trims make her so anxious she thrashes and she’s a risk to injure herself/a tech so she gets gabapentin/trazodone before and then she’s able to sit through her nail trims safely and she’s home from her appointment now and she’s so sleepy she’s napping in my lap and I’m still not allowed to go to work because of my heart and I don’t feel good and my face hurts and both of us need this snuggle right now and I just love my little nova dog so much she is so fucking perfect and special and precious she deserves the world

hi i just realized you could stack the images so it would be 3 images in the same stack WOAHG ITS LIKE MAGIC ATP WOAHHHHH heres my boy caster nova hes like jack bright (the character btw!!) if he was asexual and not so suicidal or immortal, and also not a prick. he's a silly little guy with a bad relationship with his parents (and his higher ups) he didnt do anything wrong! he hides his emotions under a playful tone but is secretly trapped inside, trying to escape the grasp of manipulation

nova's parent r pretty abusive (espically with him coming out as gay, more on that laterr)

each tear that happens to his pants from his missions he stitches them up, reasoning behind his weird and bad fashion sense

his fav flower are daisies!!!! reckguy gives him daisies every week or 2!!! the day reckguy stops giving him daises will be the day nova becomes absolutely heartbroken
