The biggest reason I'm still on tumblr is because their shitty 2007 spaghetti code still works with my shitty rural internet and I haven't updated this app since 2018 because I refuse to let it work less effectively with my shitty rural internet.
#chit chat#love a text based website#cant use fb or insta or anything video based without spending ten minutes waiting for a picture to load or 20 for a video#even on tumblr the pictures usually wont load but at least everyone else gets that experience too#half the time i can't even log in to my bank's website because it requires faster internet than what i have#which is fucking fantastic amirite#nothing like having my last $10 held hostage because i live in the poor rural nothingness zone#but tumblr? i can read tumblr.
