If you disregard the magical girl and extend it to magical person system, as well as didn’t really have set “this character is x characters equivalent in this au” I think u could workshop it to be a semi functional parody of the series with Yuno being the one to restart the timeline (let’s say child services catches her parents before she can’t take it anymore and kills them on accident bc she would definitely wish for her parents to love her beforehand) but I think it would only be the one time given the second she’d meet Hinata (a magical girl who just wished for her family to be happy who’s wish did quite the opposite) and Mao (Hinata’s “best friend”), fight her in an alleyway and then slowly realize oh she holds some kind of Feeling for the both of them that she definitely doesn’t possess for Yuki, who’s death is what gave her the guilt to drive her to wish to start this fiasco over again, Yuki just having wished for his parents to be back together a while ago in the original timeline and dying upon Walpurgisnacht’s arrival. Second timeline around Aru is Just There, has no recollection of making a wish as well as no recollection of their life before Yuki moved to their school but has been a magical them for as long as they can remember, and they manage to convince Yuki not to become a magical person given their visible lack of sleep the way their desperation for Yuki to be happy and safe seeps into their voice without their consent and the way they save his ass thrice over from witches given how Kyubey keeps leading him into labyrinths in hopes that what Kyubey thought to be an easy catch to trap into making a wish they already want will finally snap but no Aru drags his out of it every time to the point where Yuki starts calling them his guardian angel between the white color scheme the ambiguous origins and the fact they always manage to grab Yuki by the collar of his jacket or bridal carry him out of a labyrinth after killing the witch with a few swift strikes of their swords. And yea Aru really likes Yuki and Yuki kinda sorta gets blushy around them and thinks about their hand in his as they save his ass for the nth time and Hinata smacks him over the back of the head with a newspaper when he brings it up and goes “you’re bisexual. As them out already” before returning to converse with Yuno about the best way to kill Walpurgisnacht. Also since Minene is in her early twenties she’s an older magical girl who accidentally took Aru under her wing from the start. So in concept it’s an interesting au but also given how literally every Mirai Nikki character is Built Different it definitely takes the Madoka out of the Magica so it’s more along the lines of putting them in that environment with roles that are more parallels if you Squint and keeping the timeloop vibes & Walpurgisnacht <3
