why is it so hard to express your frustration with fandom's extreme bias towards male characters without sounding like you think het ships are discriminated against. like some of you don't dislike het ships bc you're gay, you dislike het ships bc you can't conceive of female characters having depth and growth and messy emotions

#which... it's fine to ship what you like. but i am noticing some things now that I'm writing for a ''het'' ship (they're bi4bi dont at me)#notably the absolute glut of obi/maul content including aus where maul is good from the start or redeemed #while ventr/obi is neglected even though ventress actually has a redemption arc. and allies with kenobi. in canon.#the way she's written in some m/m fic as pathetic for flirting with kenobi a lot as tho y'all wouldn't lose it for a man who did that...#being a hater today
