Refusing to believe victims because they accused someone who "seems nice"/you like and saying that the girls accusing them are "dramatic", "trying to cause trouble", or that "she should've been more responsible" are directly playing into misogynistic sterotypes and contributing to rape culture. I know y'all love your faves, and so do I, but the really is that we don't truly know them and are always gonna want to see the best in them, but people are shitty.

absoLUTELY we'd have a nfb survivor season! cast should be about 18 people, so maybe something like: jeremy, megan, jenny, patrick, robyn, notpat, colin, julia, peter, alan, katie, sophia, neil, geoff, tommy, phillipa, boseman, and alex? that'd be a good cast i think! oh, and graham can be jeff probst lmao.

i think either colin or geoff would end up being the first boots, jeremy could probably end up being like a merge boot and go out in a really spectacular tribal council full of scheming and shouting and all, alan and jenny both strike me as challenge beasts who'd go pretty far, and megan probably ends up being the last juror.

no no, i don't think i can see alex being that intimate with anyone else because they've been with sam for so long and that just doesn't sit right with me, but oh 100% that them and jenny are really good friends! (and i didn't know the card was from her? she's so sweet an attentive aaaa).

like, i'm sure they were already friendly during alex's time as a janitor in channel one, cause jenny seems like someone who truly appreciates everyone working around her and taking time to know them and thank them for their effort, so i'm sure they've become tight over the years (and i mean, alex does imagine jenny calling them during the lockdown, so obviously they care for her as well!).

as far as my own hcs go, i don't really have that many relationship thoughts between the crew tbh (well, i do have a soft spot for jeremy and jenny, both as best friends and/or eventual partners, and robyn/notpat is another couple that interests me), but i do greatly enjoy imagining all of them going down to the pub for happy hour after work. love putting characters in Situations, baby.

Suddenly Jeremy becomes the most popular guy in school lmao.

No ok, I'm making and executive decision, here's how it goes: Jeremy pairs up with Jenny, cause that would be the funniest couple no doubt. Would they win? Not at all, they'd be in trouble in every leg of the trip, but their banter and mutual friendly bullying will make them fan faves for sure. Plus they'd not be afraid to play a little dirty from time to time (they 100% tell Patrick that yeah dude the bus stop is that way, just keep walking!).

Alan needs to go with Katie Brightman because hELLO we need that enemies forced to work together energy in the season. They'd have some amusing fights, I love it.

Patrick can go with Colin, OR we can summon the ghost of Graham Bannon and we can have a father and son team which is always fun (even though Patrick is the only one who's technically alive, which means Graham can do none of the helping and all of the complaining).

Robyn and NotPat can pair up (yay!), Peter and Julia obvs, Alex and Sam, Megan and Kate, Tommy can be with Philippa, and Geoff can go with...brush boy I guess lmao. Or we put poor Chris to suffer, which is always fun!

I've been off tumblr for quite a bit. At the start it was because pandemic mentions were really triggering to me, then the whole Andy scandal, but now it's mostly because I started college and boy, is this a hell of a year to graduate high school and start college. But finals week is upon me and after hopefully I can spend December fighting the quarantine depression with Animal Crossing and fanfic writing. I've joined some new fandoms that are more active, and NatePat's kinda become a backburner ship for me now, but I'm still willing to write for it and I have a whole spreadsheet of ideas to exec there. I will become this ship's entire AO3 archive someday, most certainly.

I mean this whole ship is dead but if you're reading this, you're still here. And if there's one thing I learned in fandom, the size of the community doesn't matter, just the friends you make in it. I will, to the point of ad nause, mention again that our discord server is still open, if a bit quiet now, and that is the best place to talk to me, but hey I do have this tumblr account, you can message me here. @the-ruler-of-rabbits sleeps for most of my day time and I like online interaction. This blog was always intended to be an archive, as things get slowly deleted over time. That being said, even as I'm looking into other ships and fandoms, I don't plan on leaving anytime soon. And judging by how close we are to 200 followers, plenty of you are still here for the gaming youtubers that got popular in the mid-2010's. Personall, with all the personalities out now, I do feel overwhelmed by the influencer influx, so I haven't really gotten into any other major personalities since then. Mark, Jack, Matt, Nate, Game Grumps... these past few years have been rough due to personal trauma and there's no way I'm ever going to be my pre-2017 self before a close friend of mine committed suicide and my best friend jumped of the deep end, leaving me behind. So joy is a scarce commodity I've had to fight for since then. But hey, thanks to this community, I'm no longer alone anymore--the people I'm now closest too, I met here.
