Three ships: Alice/Jasper (most interesting/most fun to write currently), Carlisle/Esme (best grown-up/self-insert ship since I was already a wife and mom when I read Twilight), and Peter/Charlotte (best potential for standalone movie/book someday—we can dream, right?)

First Ever Ship: A tie: both are from The Chronicles of Narnia: either Shasta/Aravis (aka Cor/Aravis) or Frank/Helen. If I ever get going with a canon one-shot collection for Narnia, the first one will be Helen's POV! Imagine you're just washing dishes after yet another day of drudgery. Your exhausted cabbie of a husband is out working late again, and there are no children, and this is pretty much the life you have stretching out in front of you. Then suddenly you're the queen of a world that got created 2 hours ago and being promised a whole royal dynasty of descendants by lion!Jesus even though there are still soap suds coating your arms?!)

Last Movie: Panipat: The Great Betrayal

Last song: Blue by Eiffel 65 (We played this one at our wedding reception 19 yrs ago!)

Currently reading: Pale Horse, Pale Rider by Katherine Anne Porter. This was the first famous novel written about the 1918 Spanish influenza pandemic, and the author herself had nearly died from the influenza in 1918. (more research for Tale of Years 1918 of course!)

Currently watching: binging Grey's Anatomy with my husband (middle of season 6). My current treadmill show is Street Food: Asia on Netflix.

Currently consuming: hospital food. Annie (my 15 year old) has been here for a few days with no end in sight. All her chronic stuff has escalated into a migraine crisis and they're still trying to get on top of it so she can eat/drink on her own... no discharge in sight yet. Nothing too dangerous but we can use all the kind thoughts and prayers you guys can send our way ❤️

Currently craving: my own bed. Thankfully this is a good children's hospital so they have two good cots in her room.

Hey y’ all hope my first post was interesting and a base to get to know me. Well knowing about me is a good step to start isn’t ?  Lets get into detail to check out where all I have traveled. You know what, I actually spared so much of time to check out for myself where all I have been since my childhood even before what travelling actually meant.

  Started as a child, going with family to different places for the only longest vacation we all get, the summer holiday (Hope you guys would have experienced this too). When I was 15 years is when I started travelling alone, usually for breaks from the military residential boys school ( Schools Link ). Only thing I understood back then was, I was happy being independent, yea the freedom meant something to me. Even after 15 years I am still not able to put them into words.

Travel areas – Mostly part of India (During my days before college)

To start with a state i was born Tamil Nadu   (Madurai, Trichy, Chennai, Kanyakumari, Tutucorin, Kanyakumari, Rameshwaram, Coimbatore, Tanjore, ooty, Kodaikanal and Pondicherry all that I can remember as of now 😛 )

Kerala – Iduki

Karnataka – Bengaluru, Mysuru and Bijapur.

Maharashtra – Mumbai, Pune, Lonalva.

Telangana – Hyderabad.

Odisha  – Bhubaneswar, Puri and Cuttack.

Rajasthan – Jaipur.

Uttar Pradesh – Agra.

Delhi – New Delhi.

Haryana – Panipat, Chandigarh.

Punjab – Amritsar, wagah Border.

My childhood days went pass like this, never knew that day I was making memories neither I would be writing about this at 1 am at the night. Done with school by then caught in between all the crap of marks , grades and all that barely I don’t even want to think about . I had the beautiful set of friends, which I still have after 13 years …. Now they aren’t friends , they are family….

If you think its more of a personal info that I am sharing, nope it’s not. May be most of you would have had a similar past experience of family vacation, summer trips and stuff especially if you were from India. Well you wouldn’t have traveled a lot or you didn’t get a chance either. Better late than never.
