see while i think eimiko's dynamic is so deeply intertwined w devotion and seeing through someone's evolution, elymei is more about being a representation of possibility. elysia and mei have this certain loyalty to each other of course (mei refuses to really believe elysia is a traitor) their dynamic is nothing close to a god and her priestess!! bc the whole fucking point of mei going to the elysian realm was to show elysia that mei was like her!!!!!!!!!1 that herrschers of this era can be like her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! miko waited for ei for 500 years!!! she made the traveler promise that theyd bring her god back! she brings ei out of her shell because she knows ei needs it! she knows that ei needs to move to the next stage of grief!!!!!!!!!!! in a way eimiko is about the differences between them bettering them!!!!
