#i generally try not to dwell on articles or other media takes that make me mad bc life’s to short for that#but sometimes i remember the article about the pre tour press con#where the writer explicitly suggested that jonas’s family being there was some new ‘marginal gain’#instead of. you know. a normal thing for them to do#same article also very clearly positions tadej as someone honest and truthful compared to the writer explicitly questioning jonas’s words#why is it that everything tadej says should be taken at face value but jonas must be lying or deliberately hiding the truth#not that i think tadej IS lying but i don’t think he is inherently more open than jonas#this isn’t really about his podcast today which i haven’t listened to but that might be what made me think about that article#not the worst piece of jonas journalism i’ve seen by FAR (hello guardian article about how all of france hates jonas)#but it’s the kind bias and stereotyping that always frustrates me when people write about him
