apparently unpopular opinion but if you’re a grown adult with a middle class american income and you’ve never had a passport that’s a dealbreaker for me
#and that post that was like#‘i make over six figures but it’s to expensive to travel outside of america :(((‘#that person must be spending all their money on crack or scented candles#like there IS a surcharge on traveling outside of america for some reason like#NY to london flights are MORE expensive than NY to hawaii despite being half the distance?#but! you should be curious enough about the world to want to forgo a domestic vaca to save up for an international one imo#not that this is relevant anymore because my mate is a classy cosmopolitan citizen of the world#she’s australian she’s european she’s the better future they envisioned when they started eurovision
