Honestly if anyone wants to recommend a Sarah/Krolock fic to me, I just want one where she realizes she stepped into a gilded cage, and at some point she just goes apeshit and commits bloody murder and succeeds because Krolock is too smug to see her coming and causing his own downfall. Because honestly it's the only way I can see it ending. (No disrespect to shippers, ilu)

#tanz der vampire #I like the sweeter sarahs but the other way you can go to me is basically “girl becomes a horror beyond your imagination”#like i don't buy for one second that all she wants is to become the local vampire lord's trophy wife #(and at the risk of being mean i have zero respect for those portrayals of sarah lol)#not that i'm expecting an 1890s/1900s sheltered girl to necessarily consider other avenues #but sarah's whole point is that she *does* see the paths ahead of her and she goes “nah”#and not “well if i have to get married might as well go for the bigger fish”#which is... missing her point entirely #and it's just kind of misogynistic really - that all women want are material things #not that tdv is a paragon of feminism lmao
