so in the book you see daphne have a lot more personality! i'm only like three chapters in but she's far more daring and rounded as a character! also the scene where she punches nigel berbrook was not in a garden where cresida saw, it was in a more hidden hallway at a party.

it seems like the characters are more character-y than hollowed archetypes like in the show

#im sure someone who's read more of the books could give better details/more examples #the show is okay. its not horrible but some of the inconsistencies are more than minor details #edit: remembering how daphne is quite older than the show? she's already out in society for like 2 years #her and her mother have a loving playfighting kinda relationship #she's almost conflicted with marriage bc she wants a family but none of the men are her style??? if that makes sense #also anthony is in on the fake courting between her and simon #not that netflix didnt show them as a family but there are details being overlooked??? like cmon this is a pretty realistic family
