I love stories and trying to make sense of things#perhaps futilely. perhaps not the most noble of pursuits. but ultimately the most vital one#and the space sweepers universe is interesting! lots of choices made in that space!#a universe that excludes the idea of a ''universal language'' and puts the onus of communication on solid physical personal devices#and thus making it a luxury. and a selective one. extremely solid choice. like I debated a lot on who on the crew would have a translator#and I still do! its not settled yet#as is the case with anything I do for fun it's extremely modular until the story is told. and even then
