I think that maybe the fact that people perceive Milo as attractive (Yoss... Heller... others...) could be considered as intentional (beyond the realm of a Hellercrush, although I don't honestly think it is) as speaking to the allure which capitalism holds in present-day society. Viewing Milo attractiveness as an allegory for the American Dream and the idea of 'if I can hitch my wagon to this guy/concept, i'll be all set'... the way that someone could mistakenly believe that it's their way to success, only to find they've been duped by an onerous system
