thinking about the eighth doctor and how he regenerated from someone cynical into someone radiant and trusting. thinking about how he started off already tortured — cold, amnesiac — and how the trend of pain and hurt continues all throughout his life but he still maintains this sort of ... optimism, most of the time. thinking about how he loves so easily and isn’t afraid of showing it. he’s just so genuine and so open ... thinking about how hes the one that fought in the time war and how someone so pacifistic , someone who breaks down when he accidentally kills an enemy in self defense , was forced to destroy entire civilizations, entire planets . thinking about how he hums when he walks and how kittens gravitate towards him and his butterfly garden and his blue eye shadow -_- thinking about how he can get so angry and frightening when someone he loves is threatened & how he’d do anything to protect them ... thinking about how passionate he is and how no one/nothing is too small for him to love
