cant believe it's been 12 full weeks of jellyfish can't swim at night and now it's overrrrrrrr noooooo
#fantastic ending wrapup actually#i love how meru flipped and encouraged kano#and i loved the escalator reunion scene!!!!!!#one thing i wish tho is that they capitalized on the kiss from an earlier ep#and made the show full yuri#not saying another kiss!!! but just an acknowledgement of mahiru and kano#that would have been nice#went back and watched the mv at the end of ep3 and it's still so good#i might have to rewatch in full now that it's all complete#but ye aaaaah hm what else#the mural painting was cool!!#and kano's performing outfit was so amazing#i rly love the streetwear fashion in this show#and i love that it all ended happy!!! w yukine acknowledging her daughter and#everyone graduating and being happy for each other wwww#it got a lil melancholic abt not having enough time but since the ep didn't show the future#i think it's okay to be that way#the show has always had discussion abt real things so i think having that in there was a nice touch#it's officially yuri bait to me bc i forgot abt kiui's friend that im 98% sure was implied#to be into her that way#and then kimura in general *gestures* so yea#i did like that it was open ended so essentially all the still-running plot threads are like#'free to imagine your own ending' type beats#so w that route i can cope w mahiru and kano being left as just friends#anyway!!! anime of the summer for me easily
