Digimon Adventure: Ep 19!

Wow! That certainly was an Episode!! It was pretty fun from start to finish, though nothing mind-blowing, but it was definitely the ending that made me gasp. Not wholly unexpected to an old turnip like me, but promising lots of fun (and angst!).

ok I’m really looking forward to recapping this one so let’s get to it!

So last week I thought the kids sans Taichi and Yamato were abducted by Devimon, but apparently that either isn’t the case, or it was, but then Devimon decided it’s best just to dump the kids back on Earth and hold on to their partners. Because that’s the current situation. While concerning that the kids are separated from their partners, it’s probably best this way, since Devimon appears to be sending Gesomon(?) and Parrotmon(?)

to the human world, if I remember right. It’s hard to remember what happened in the first fifteen seconds kay So when the kids find their partners it will probably be in the human world and they can fight back.

Meanwhile Taichi and Yamato are alone and very Confuse

Taichi tries frantically to contact Koushirou. The others too... but especially Koushirou.

Finally he gets him!! He’s so happy!! My Taishiro heart flutters!

But I was fully expecting it to be a trap. When I saw this still here, my first thought was “Devimon’s forcing him to tell Taichi a lie by threatening him with a gun!!”

of course thats not whats happening. Koushirou is relatively fine and there are no guns (yet). What’s happened is the other kids have been sent back to the human world for reals this time!

This show is not even bothering to hide its Taiyama angle.

They spend the entire episode giving each other Significant Looks like this. The entire episode.

Now where’s Jou through all of this, you ask?

He went to talk to the police. He’s shocked they don’t believe his story about monster attacks and the world ending (well, at least Tokyo ending). I freaking love how taaaaall Jou is. Though it makes Koushirou look like a bean x’D

Jou = beansprout / Koushirou = bean

Koushirou has a much easier time dealing with the news that the police don’t believe them. He’s a denizen of the Internet. He knows how people’s minds work. And he has tons of chat logs to prove it.

People are chatting and spreading gossip and disbelief and complaints, but my favorite is the comment that just says “It’s a flood of fake news” xP

The home team runs into Mama Yagami! Who Sora literally calls Mama Yagami! x’D I mean I know that’s how kids generally refer to their friends’ parents but I still lol’d.

So un... Jou is almost as tall as Mama Yagami. LMAO. I’m gonna assume she’s short. Jou might indeed be quite tall for his age but Sora and Mimi are pretty close to Mama Yagami’s height too. I guess we haven’t seen Taichi standing next to his mom yet! With his hair he’s probably taller than her.

So Mama Yagami is HILARIOUS and I’m so glad that’s a continuing thing in the reboot! She was already that way in 99 Adventure, but we’re just seeing a lot of it now - like every time she’s around. (And we didn’t see it in Tri so I missed that.) Basically she seems like a basketcase. Not a totally irresponsible one, more like just... generally the carefree go with the flow type. Which is not bad. She just also seems a bit, uh, ditzy?? I think Taichi probably grew to be so serious by necessity. Dad’s busy with work and someone’s gotta make sure mom doesn’t leave the house without her keys!

The way Sora just stares at Hikari like “explain??” after Mama Yagami thrusts Miko at her and runs off to get her car with a big smile as if they hadn’t all nearly died recently... bahahaha.

also I love how she doesn’t even bother asking her son’s good friend if she knows where he is after not seeing or hearing from him for three full days

Taichi and Yamato determine their priority is find the Holy Digimon. I wish they were a little more concerned with what happened to their friends’ partners, but I guess this is the only goal with solid clues. Anyway before they can do anything they are attacked by Bulbmon Looks like subtitlers went with Valvemon which also works, who looks like a Lego monster creation by an eight year old (and probably is).

He has the Domo face. Grrraaah

Domo is NHK mascot by the way. bahahaha

Next these guys come swarming out of Valvemon. (And if we didn’t already get it, apparently Digimon can construct other Digimon as we’ve seen before.) Nothing is quite as freaky as gas masks. They are commanded by Minotaurmon/Mintaromon whatever.

They too have the aim of Stormtroopers though so our heroes will be fine...

... probably...

... then Leomon finally shows up!! Yay! He looks good! All beefy and scarred and sounding exactly like Zaraki Kenpachi. Uhh. Is it the same VA?? Nothing comes up in the Google search so maybe not but it sure sounds like him. (Minotaurmon and Ogremon also sound like Leomon... while it’s normal for VAs in kids shows to voice multiple characters esp minor ones, it literally sounds like Zaraki Kenpachi is the voice of all the characters in this episode besides the main ones. And Mama Yagami of course because that would be weird.)

Leomon may look cool, but his ride... and his friends... uh, less cool x’D I want to strangle that ostrich thing with its own scarf somehow it inspires violent emotion in me

In the smallest, most shocked voice, Yamato says, “Leomon...?” It’s honestly kind of adorable. He’s clearly remembering what Neemon said about Leomon leading the resistance way back when.

Leomon helps them escape. Taichi very considerately and cutely helps Agumon aboard the fashion disaster ostrich emu thing.

Yamato also considerately helps his partner but rather less cutely xD

Leomon takes them to his hideout and gives them your standard fare of weird-looking Digi fruit. He then proceeds to tell them about Devimon and that he is trying to infiltrate Valvemon yadda yadda.

Taichi is freaking ADORABLE, immediately concerned that by saving their asses, Leomon’s battle plans have been ruined. Leomon waves that aside though. Yamato is equally adorabibble when he asks after Neemon and gets told that they made it to Leomon safely.

Leomon plans to try to get into Valvemon again because he knows Devimon’s put something related to the holy Digimon in there. Taichi is determined to join in. He doesn’t have much of an argument as it why they should be allowed when they just got their butts kicked so easily, but he has a trick up his sleeve: the Burning Eyes of Fiery Passion.

Not to be outdone, Yamato shoots off his Icy Eyes of Cold Determination.

Faced with this twin assault, Leomon has to give in. Ahh, I remember last week when we saw the trailer for this ep and I naively thought Leomon would train them like Piximon did in 99 Adventure. Nope. They’ve just met and they’re already spy buddies.

Okay, okay, yeah Leomon does seem to have some knowledge of the “Chosen Children” and that’s his real motivation. Still.

They break into Valvemon and we get the excellent invention of Agumon riding on Garurumon. I assume because of Garurumon’s advantageous speed. That seems to be recurring thing in this show.

They enter some sort of central space where Leomon tells them something relevant to the holy Digimon is being kept. (Lol I already forgot the details of what he said.) There are two protectors, Minotaurmon and Bullmon. Leomon tells the kids to take Bullmon while he faces down Minotaurmon. These guys might have been somewhat intimidating if we hadn’t already got Perfect level evolutions mastered, not to mention the occasional Jogress :P Sooo I didn’t feel too worried.

... uh, never mind x’D Taichi what are you doing

Yamato saves his idiot butt and almost gets in a bind himself. Once again I’m just wondering why they are sticking at Adult level. Whatever. They win of course

Leomon uses his Fist of the Beast King to maim Minotaurmon. His brilliant one-liner? “I have more than one first.”

Bully: *punches you*

You: ow

Bully: *smirk* I have more than one fist.

You: That’s funny, I only have one, but it’s made of titanium *You punch the bully straight through the stratosphere* Quality over quantity!!!!

*cough*

Our heroes approach the secret compartment supposedly holding something to do with the holy Digimon... Yamato gets a look inside and gets the black shadow of true terror over his eyes

becaue floating inside like some kind of Weapon X experiment is... Takeru!!!

Hold on while I put in my ear plugs. Okay, ready, screech all you want now.

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

So... okay. First of all, baby Takeru is sooooooo cute <3 I had two predictions about what happened to Takeru last week. Either he ended up in the digital world and was now on his own, or he got abducted by Devimon. I thought the former was more likely, but in hindsight, it should have been obvious that it was the second. This show misses a lot of points where I feel like they could have developed some relationships or thrown in some drama, but it never passes up a chance for Yamato angst.

So yeah, this is pretty much gonna destroy Yamato xD Not only is the baby brother he wanted to protect no longer at home where he can easily protect him, he’s now in the digital world and in the enemy’s clutches.

I BETTER SEE REALLY TRAUMATIZED YAMATO NEXT WEEK. Of course, I expect him to be cool-headed enough to try to save Takeru, but I will be very disappoint if this goes off with no break downs at all. Takeru is always Yamato’s number one priority!

Super exciteddddd

So I give this ep 7.5/10. The .5 is pretty much for ending with a killer cliffhanger. My one real complaint about this ep is how highly plot-based everything is - we finally got the team all together only to split them up, and on top of that, once split up, we don’t even get all that many character moments between Taichi and Yamato. As I said, they give each other lots of Signifcant Looks, but man cannot live on bread alone. However this is par for the course for this show and I know I should stop mentioning it every week because I doubt it’s changing. We will get the big shockers when we get them and not a moment before.

I just want Yamato to cry in front of Taichi and make him all uncomfortable x’D That’s what made 99 Adventure so great bahahaha

Some cool bits from next week’s trailer:

Surprise surprise, Angemon is the holy Digimon! Or one of, anyway. And he is indeed trapped. This makes the “Angemon is Devimon” theory less likely. Let’s not forget that our heroes’ Digimon partners were evidently a band of powerful warriors in the past, but they’ve forgotten much of it. I won’t be surprised if the result of that war played a part in Angemon’s abduction.

Next week they’ll have to fight to save Takeru from being drained, I guess.

And then!! Digi egg! Excite. Also I only just noticed that his hate says TK!!!

Takeruuu <3 My first fav when I was 10. Though my heart has belonged to Taichi for many long years, I still have a special spot in it for Takeru only <3 Even if he does dress like a celery stick

Just Friends ~ Also Hoplessly In Love (part 33)

A/N: plot twist

Harper White is best friends with Luke Hemmings, they always have been. Not only is she friends with the rockstar, but with the rest of 5 Seconds Of Summer, as well as a really nice girl named Erika.

Harper has a few secrets, she can play all the instruments the boys play and many more. It’s a talent she has kept hidden, only very few people know.

What will happen to the six teens, wondering around the world together?

Warnings: language and tiny piece of smut (I wouldn’t really call it smut tbh)

It wasn’t Lauren, it was Erika. She was sobbing into the phone and a blubbering mess. She kept saying stuff, but I couldn’t understand her, in the end I just hung up on her, then cried myself.

I don’t think she just hates me all of a sudden, there’s definitely more to it. I just need to find out what it is.

Erika and I used to be best friend goals, she was my first real girl friend. She’s the person I would talk about boys to, just girl stuff. I mean, I can’t really talk/do girl stuff with Luke, trust me, I’ve tried.

I just want things to be how they were, everything is so complicated now. I’ll even take before Luke and I were dating.

I’m currently at my house, all alone. I have a driving lesson in a couple of hours. It’s quite nice to be alone, everyone has been treating me like a baby, besides one person of course.

I should really go back to school soon, it’s Friday today, so there really wasn’t any point going today.

“Thats mine.” Someone says, making me jump, causing me to drop the knife I was using to cut up my sandwich. Luckily it just fell onto the counter, and didn’t stab me.

Turning around I’m met by the eyes of Luke Hemmings and his eyes widen. “What is?” I question, already knowing what it is.

“My f-flannel.” He stutters.

I’m in my underwear, garters holding up my stockings, Luke’s flannel resting on my arms, undone of course.

“Oh yeah, so it is.” I play along.

“Oh God.” He mutters.

I turn back around and finish cutting my sandwich, bending over and taking a plate out from underneath the counter.

Luke presses himself up against me and holds my hips. He pushes my hair out the way and attaches his lips to my neck, sucking on a sensitive spot then blows on it, whilst his hands move up and down my hips. I lean my head on his chest, giving him more access, I let out a small moan as he gives me another hickey, licking it to soothe it.

I detach myself from Luke and press my lips to his. “God. I’ve. Missed. You.” I say in between kisses.

I wrap an arm around his neck and press myself against him. Luke leans back on to the island counter. He grinds his crotch against mine causing both of us to moan. Luke takes of my - his - flannel and it falls to floor, leaving me in my jet black underwear.

His hands trail down my body and stop at my ass, he massages it then trails down to my thighs. “Jump.” He says against my lips.

Doing as he says, I jump and wrap my legs around his waist, as well as wrap my arms around his neck. Luke firmly holds onto my thighs, enough to leave a mark. Not because he’s not strong enough, he just has an iron grip on my thighs.

“Do you wanna take this to the bedroom?” He ask, lips brushing as he talks.

“I mean, we said we’d take this slow, but fuck the rules.” I breathlessly whisper.

He smiles but it turns into a smirk, he attaches his lips back to mine again. Luke puts me down and we make our way to my bedroom, hand in hand.

Closing the door behind me, Luke starts to take his clothes off.

It’s a while later now and I’m finally properly dressed, still wearing my thigh high tights and garters, just with some black, ripped, high waisted shorts over the top, a ripped, cropped band t shirt, sort of a grunge look today.

“Damn, my woman is looking hot.” Luke laughs as I walk down the stairs.

“Shut up.” I chuckle as I walk into the kitchen, accidently walking on the discarded flannel shirt.

Picking it up and shrugging it on, I pick up the sandwich I never got to eat. Walking back into the lounge, where Luke is sitting, tapping at his phone.

“When you were in England, what exactly happened that night?” Luke blurts out.

“Took and drank some things I shouldn’t.” I sigh and glare at my plate.

“Like?”

“Cocaine was the main drug, some other stuff I didn’t even know what it was. I just tried to get anything to make me forget, but it was all just an illusion. Deep down I think my body knew that and that’s why I kept going. Jelly shots are dangerous.”

“Never had them. Are you like, okay?”

“Yes Luke I am. I don’t need to go to rehab or something. I was - still am, but better - in a bad place at the time.” I huff.

“Okay, well I’m glad you’re not as bad as that now.” He smiles.

I roll my eyes and go on my phone. “It’s hard to explain what’s going on in your own mind, when you don’t know yourself.” I tell him.

“Are you going to therapy anytime soon?”

“I honestly don’t know. It’s never really worked before, so why would it work now?” I question.

“It’s up to you, love.” He shrugs.

I’m meeting up with Erika right now, well, she’s coming round to my house. I’ve just felt so guilty and needed to make amends.

I’m nervous as fuck, I’m gonna admit. This has been building up for a while, I feel like I’m in an episode of Eastenders. I used to watch that religiously.

The doorbell goes off and I make my way down the stairs, tripping over the cat in the process. “Ugh, owwww.” I groan, rubbing my knee. “Fuck off.” I tell Bess as he sniffs my face.

Getting up, I warily open the door. The sight of Erika breaks my heart. Mascara stained cheeks, bloodshot, red, puffy eyes, shaking hands, and tears pickling her eyes. Suddenly Erika throws herself at me and I wrap my arms around her waist. Her sobs shake through me, and it’s painful. Erika is usually the strongest emotionally out of us, I sometimes wonder if she has emotions. I’ve seen her break down a couple of times, that was because she broke up with her boyfriend(s).

“Erika, babe, talk to me.” I say and rub her back. Closing the door, I detach her from me and hold her hand, dragging her up the stairs.

“Just g-give me a moment.” She pleads, I nod my head and she goes into the bathroom.

Five minutes later she comes back out, looking like her normal self, just with a sad smile.

“Sorry, not just for getting mascara on your shirt, but for the stuff I said. I didn’t mean them, I promise, and I don’t think I can forgive myself for what I said. You have to believe me.”

“You said some pretty messed up stuff, Erika.” I sigh.

“I know that, and I regret that. Those words mean nothing to mean, and I don’t think that of you. The hurt etched on your face as I said those words hurt me so much, not as much as it hurt you I imagine. I’m really sorry Harper, please forgive me.” Erika begs.

“It’ll take a while for things to be stable again. Why did you do it?” I question.

“I was hurting so much and I k-”

“Why are you hurting?” I cut her off.

She looks conflicted and her eyes well up with tears. Her mouth opens but no words come out.

All of a sudden her lips crash onto mine, and I freeze. I don’t know what comes over me, but I kiss Erika back, cupping her cheeks, whilst hers hold my neck. I start leaning back, pulling her on top of me. My hands go from her jaw to her waist and one in her hair.

“What the fuck?” Some familiar voices question.

Immediately we pull apart and scramble away from each other. “Get out.” I harshly spit at them, walking towards the door.

I meet Luke’s eyes, and he has a mix of hurt and confusion on his face and in his eyes. I slam the door closed and run my hand through my hair, looking back at Erika, she looks torn between happiness and sadness.

“Erika, what the fuck?”

“I’m s-so sorry.” She trembles.

“Explain.” I seethe.

“I might be gay, maybe bisexual. I used to like this girl back in the early days of secondary school, I thought I just wanted to be her best friend, then I kissed a girl at a party a year later, and well, I’ve been torn ever since. That’s why I used to go on so many dates all the time. I didn’t want to believe it, I didn’t know anyone that was in to girls, so it felt as if I was going through this on my own.” She explains.

“Why did you kiss me?” I ask.

“How can you not understand? I’ve been in love with you ever since I’ve met you. I have this persona that I ship you and Luke so much, do you know how much it hurts to see the person you love, be so happy with someone else?” She claims.

“Uh, I w-what? I don’t know what to say. I don’t swing that way Erika.” I sigh.

“Then why did you kiss me back? Just to drag me along?” She questions.

“No! I don’t know what came over me, I just kept going on with it. I still want to be friends, but we can only ever be just friends. I’m sorry, I don’t mean to hurt you, but I’m happy with Luke.” I tell her.

“I know that. The only reason I said those things is because I couldn’t take it anymore, I needed to destroy our friendship, so I could get over you.” She plays with a loose thread on her jeans.

“I’m really sorry Erika. I don’t want things to be all awkward between us now.” I mutter.

I walk over to her and hug her, wrapping my arms around her shoulders. We pull back and I hold her in arms distance, looking deep into her arms.

Her head inches closer to mine and I move mine closer to hers. “Do it, one last time.” I whisper.

We move our heads closer to each other, I pull back slightly, afraid of everything.

Our lips connect and we start off slow, not sure if we should be doing this. Kissing girls is a lot more gentle.

I’m definitely straight though, and I feel really guilty right now. For pulling her along (unintentionally) and being unfaithful to Luke.

We pull back and I step away from her, running my hand through my hair. “Are you putting a label on things or are you just leaving it?” I question.

“I really don’t know. We should give the boys an explanation though.” She says. “Are the boys here, or did they go back home?”

“They’re probably still here, but I’ll go check.”

Opening my door and slowly descending down the stairs. I hear the chatter from the boys. They all go quiet and I stand in front of them, trying to ignore Luke’s glare.

“Go easy on her, and Luke stop it, I’m all yours, I’m straight. It was a- I’ll let her explain. ” I warn.

Luke’s eyes soften but he still looks annoyed.

Going back upstairs and into my room

“Are you guys back together again?” I hear Calum ask.

“Yeah, but apparently Harper has different ideas.” He sighs.

I shake my head at him and carry on walking. “They’re still here, and I told them to go easy on you.” I tell her.

“Thanks.” She smiles and makes her way out of my bedroom.

We go down the stairs and I pick Bess up on the way.

Walking into the lounge again, I take a seat on the coffee table, placing Bess on my lap, he leans into my touch and I giggle.

I see Luke watching me, a small smile playing at his lips. Animals make me happy.

“I’m into girls, also hopelessly in love with Harper.” Erika tells them and the smile on Luke’s face dies, and is crumpled to a million pieces.

He tenses up and glares at her.

I look up at the other boys, their faces full of surprise. “What? How?” Michael scratches his head.

“I don’t know, I guess I made up this person that goes on lots of dates, ships my best friends, and is really into boys. I’m not trying to take Harper away from you Luke, Harper is clearly yours, visa versa. If everyone wants to cut ties with me, that’s fine, I understand.” She frowns.

“Erika, you’re one of our best friends, we don’t want to lose you. So you’re into girls, so what? That doesn’t change a thing, also you dont have to keep pretending. I’m obviously gonna be a bit upset that you kissed my girlfriend, but we can help you get over it.” Luke surprisingly speaks up.

“Thanks guys, you are all great.” She smiles.

We all get up and go hug her, even Bess.

Luke and I pull away from everyone, he cups my jaw and kisses me. “I just kissed Erika.” He laughs.

“Did you only kiss me so you can do that?” I question.

“Maybe.” He winks.

“I thought it was because you loved me.” I pout and feign being hurt.

“Well of course I do.” He chuckles and pulls my arms, bringing me in for a hug. “Unconditionally.” He whispers and kisses me, again. Not that I’m complaining.

Suddenly realising that Erika is in the room, I pull back, and scan the room. Sure enough Erika is watching us intently, I quickly divert my eyes somewhere else. “What?” Luke asks.

“Erika.” I say and he rolls his eyes.

“Shes watching us isn’t she? Are we gonna have to hide this all again?” He questions.

“Depends how long it takes for her to get over this all. She’s suppressed these feelings for so long, it’s gonna take a while.”

“So, are you gay, bisexual, pansexual?” Calum asks.

“I don’t know, I haven’t put a label on it, and I’m not sure if I’m going to. The closest thing I am is probably bisexual, but then again, I don’t know. It’s all so confusing. I’ve never been with a girl that way, I’ve only made out with them.”

“Why didn’t you tell us or at least someone?” Ashton asks.

“I thought you guys wouldn’t hang out with me anymore.” She frowns.

“Erika, we’re not homophobic, and I don’t see you in a different way now.” Michael says.

“Shit, I have a driving lesson in half an hour.” I realise.

“You’re learning to drive?” Calum asks.

“Didn’t Luke tell you?” I question as I put on a shoe.

“No, how far along are you?” Ashton asks.

“It sounds like I’m having a baby,” I laugh and put on my shoe "I’ve been doing them for a couple of weeks, but I missed a load recently. I’m getting a car soon.“

“Don’t crash and be careful.” Luke tells me and gives me a quick kiss. “I’m serious, I can’t let my baby get hurt.”

“I won’t, I’m actually a pretty good driver.” I self praise.

“Don’t get ahead of yourself dear.” Luke says.

“Shut the fuck up, you don’t even drive.” I laugh. “Bye guys.”

I’ve come back from my driving lesson, it went smoothly, I didn’t run over anyone, so I class that as a good run, or should I say drive…

I hate myself

I’m in the shower, singing to my hearts content, Take Me Home to be precise. It’s a song I wrote recently. ‘Home’ is where we all used to be, before all of this started.

Washing the shampoo out of my hair and wrapping a towel around my body. “B to the o, to the u,” I freeze. “You are in my room.”

Luke is laying on my bed, staring up at the ceiling. “Oh hey.” He smiles.

“What are you doing?” I question.

“What does it look like?”

I shake my head and get some clothes out of my draw, an old graphic tee and some sleeping shorts.

Plugging in my hairdryer, I start drying my hair.

Halfway through, Luke comes up behind me and take the hairdryer from me. I give him a confused look through the mirror, he ignores me and runs my hairbrush through my hair, holding it at the end then drying that chunk of hair. “Thanks?”

He just smiles at me through the mirror and carries on concentrating on my hair.

Luke turns it off and brushes my hair through. “Thank you.” I smile up at him.

“Nice singing, what song was that?” He asks and I roll my eyes.

“Samantha Smither.” I make up a name.

I don’t know, I listened to Sam Smith the other day.

He gives me a weird look but let it pass as he pulls me into a hug. “Are you mad at me?” I ask Luke.

“No, why?”

“You know why.” I give him a pointed look.

“I’m obviously a bit upset that you kissed another person, but Erika is going through some confusing stuff.” He explains.

“I need you to understand that it didn’t mean anything.” I say.

“Then why did you kiss her back?” He asks.

“I don’t know, something came over me and I kept going.”

“Did you feel anything? Like did it feel right?” He questions.

“No, it felt like I was kissing my brother.” I admit.

“Are you sure?”

I picked Sam as a holder name while I was discovering that I was trans because it was very easily gender neutral and started with the first letter of my birth name and then when I came out I still hadn't picked a better name but I didn't want to hear my birthname anymore so I just said I was going by Sam. when I changed it legally I made it Samuel because I no longer related to gender neutrality and I never had a nickname growing up and wanted Sam to be my birthname. Somehow Alexander just came to me as a middle name, I didn't really think about it at all and was doodling things about names and wrote “Samuel Alexander” and was like huh. and didn't think about it for months. and then in class one day I said “guys I don't even have a middle name” and Hailey was looking up names and came up with a couple and wasn't satisfied with her findings and then she found Alexander and was like “ok this one for sure” and I had never even mentioned to her that I was considering Alexander and then I was like well this is it. later I realized that when I was little I usually picked the name Alex as my character names but then decided I couldn't use it because I wasn't cool enough. we were moderately close when I was really little, and then my parents started getting divorced and some shit went down between us and we didn't talk for 6 months. when I started talking to her again things were very tense. I didn't like her and I didn't want her in my life at all. our relationship is still strained but I love her now and were never going to agree on everything and she's always going to hold to a lot of her ways, and were never going to have the relationship I wish we did. but she's doing her job as a parent now and thats what I care about. she has a very specific personality based off of pop culture and ive kind of developed some of that in my own life. she's hard to explain

until I was like 5 I genuinely thought that he hated me, but in reality he was just stressed and worked all the time and didn't really know how to be a parent. we were never exactly close when I was young, I was kind of afraid of him. then the divorce happened and he realized that I am a person with thoughts and feelings and goals and that he was in charge of helping me develop, now all on his own. he didn't do a great job with that transition, and kind of just started treating me as an adult. but it worked. we got really close and stayed that way for a few years. then he got in a new relationship and all of her children moved in with us and they were awfully behaved and him and his girlfriend treated my sister and I as if we were also awfully behaved even though we aren't, so for that time period I had strong feelings that he wasn't being a good parent and was quite frankly being neglectful, which honestly was true. now that they no longer live with us (them? I don't live there anymore) I feel like our relationships is a lot better. could also have something to do with the fact that ive moved out. now that im rebellious and don't care what he thinks my life is a lot better. aside from parenting, he's a really cool person. he plays guitar and has lots of knowledge about musical equipment, he is the reason I took this path in life and he supports me because that was his dream too. he is also so good at being a mechanic like his customers are so loyal that he moved companies and most of them came with him, he's great at it and has so much knowledge. he just in general has a lot of knowledge and great stories and is very funny. I love him a lot

my Papa (grandpa on dads side) was my entire heart. he loved me more than anything and I felt the same about him. he died when I was 6 and I can't really get more into it because it is one of the saddest thing that has ever happened to me and I don't think I will ever get over it. his wife, my grandma, has surprisingly been one of my most supportive family members with my transition. she took me to France and not any other grandkids. I think im her favorite no offense. I also lived with her for a long time so we're moderately close. now that im older and don't care what my family thinks of me its really easy for me to talk to her. my grandma on my moms side lived with us 4 months of the year but she had some sort of mental problem that never got diagnosed that made it slightly uncomfortable to be around her, but she loved us with her whole heart and I love her too. her husband I only met twice in my life and I don't care about him at all

So I just wanted to know a little about the pay brackets with motorcycle. Im not talking specific numbers cause I know to just get a quota for that. What I heard is for things like scooters or bikes under 150cc there is a bracket. Then it goes up for anything between 150cc to less than 400cc. I've been in 2 accidents. The first was very minor; I rolled into the bumper in the car in front of me at a stop light and scratched their bumper. No damage was sustained to my car, but I am at-fault. I was already halfway in the lane trying to straighten out into the left-turn lane but I couldn't move when she was coming, because if I moved back I might have hit someone and if I went forward she would have hit me anyway. At the scene the policewoman told me I was at fault, but when I talked to my claims adjuster, she told me that there is some negligence on the other party's part because if I had just randomly pulled out into traffic, the other party would have hit the front of my car, not the driver-side door. I am being sued by the first person and I found out just now I am being sued by the person in the second accident as well. I was told that since I am registered under my parents insurance, the other party can see that they have a lot of assets they can sue for from my parents. My question is, why are they able to sue me so easily? I've done research, and I know Florida is a no-fault state, meaning drivers cannot sue each other unless serious injury occurred, such as loss of life, limb, permanent injury, etc. In both accidents, I did not get ticketed, and I believe no police report was written, only exchanges of information.(Police were called, however. I did not leave the scene) Also both of the other parties did not ask for an ambulance or medical assistance(I know about the feeling pain later thing) but I'm sure if someone was suing for something as serious that can be listed as loss of limb or death, they would have showed some indication of injury at the scene. Car Insurance - Young Driver 18 years old Male - NEED HELP PLEASE!!!!?

I have recently passed my driving test (3 days ago!) and will be buying a car ASAP as I have a job lined up and have just left school. I've tried tens of comparison sites and even rang some insurance companies direct to try and get a better quote... I have looked at the smallest possible engine size, that being 0.8l and 1l engines. I've looked at cars such as FORD KA, Vauxhall Corsa, Nissan Micra, Renault Clio and a few others too. The cheapest quote I have found for all of the cars is for a 2000 Ford KA 1.3l 3dr 4 seats (the smallest KA engine size possible) and that price was 3,800 paying monthly with a company called My Policy . However, I have used various other KA registration plates all the same engine size but some being 2003 models or 2005 and the insurance jumps to over 6,000! I haven't found another FORD KA cheaper than 5,500 and obviously if I can't get that one particular car out of the thousands for sale that insurance quote will be invalid anyway. Basically, I've tried everything. Adding named drivers (with lots of driving experience 30+ years), putting my car in a locked garage, on the road, tried different cars - models, registration plates, ages, engine sizes, and not to forget the countless comparison sites. The funny thing is with MyPolicy I went onto their site directly to get a quote and they were unable to give me a quote when entering exactly the same information into the Tiger.co.uk comparison site, that site brought up the 3,800 quote with MyPolicy but when I use their site directly they can't give me a quote... I know insurance is based on MANY factors, believe me I understand that. I tried entering different post codes (just out of curiosity) and it did help, but only fractionally. It just seems (other than the 1 obscure quote of 3,800 on ONE car, out of the 100+ I've tried) that I can't get a quote cheaper than 5,000 for a car with the smallest engine size and insurance group possible... It's ridiculous. Please don't advise fronting because it's illegal and I want to build up some NCD anyway. CAN ANYONE HELP ME GET A QUOTE CHEAPER THAN 3,500?! Thanks a lot, -Ash.""
