If the live action show is the only version of One Piece you’ve ever seen, I’m begging you to watch the anime version or read the manga arc for Arlong Park, because while the show is good as a whole, it did not do Cocoyashi Village and its characters the justice they deserve.

#one piece #one piece live action #opla spoilers #opla #of all the things to cut for time I wish that the bellemere flashback hadn’t suffered #I cry EVERY time I rewatch it in the anime but it just did not have that impact in the live action which is :/#not only was bellemere robbed but characters like nojiko and genzo??#they had SUCH a huge impact on nami in both the past and present #for me the ‘help me’ scene just does not hit as hard without the scene with the villagers directly before #I just wish we got more time with the characters so that they could shine and the impact be felt #AND I think despite the shortened length of the series nojiko should’ve known about nami’s deal with arlong because what. was that??
