AFTER ALL THIS TIME U HAVE SEEN THE SYAORAN DEATH!!! as a trc vet (been into it since i was 12, im 26 now) i must say it brought me a great bittersweet feeling to reread my baby boy dying in his other half's arms and see your reaction to it, but dont worry nick! its not over!! we still got more to go!!

Somehow there is still even more to go! Somehow!

I can't even imagine the pain they still have waiting for us, but either way, I'm glad this is fun even for someone who has been into Tsubasa for over half their life. That's quite an honour!

ToG: Her being on her period and Dorian 

CoM: I honestly don’t think I have ever reread CoM but probably right after Nehemia’s death where Celaena lets loose and attacks Chaol. This is my least fave of the series soooo......

HoF: The bit where she is in the kitchens with Luca and Emrys. So pure. Such growth. 

QoS: The end where Manon attacks her grandmother OR Arobynn dying

EoS: The whole thing All the Elide chapters. All of them. If I had to pick one bit, them being in the circus

ToD: Haven’t reread it yet, but probably whenever someone mentioned a random girl that helped them and it was Aelin. That happened at least 3 times if I remember right. 

KoA: Now idk why this is my fave...but. When Aelin is trapped in the coffin and Fenrys stays with her and helps her

thoughts on trc?

“IS THIS THING SAFE?” “SAFE AS LIFE” i don’t know why that is the first thing i associate with the series first but it is anyway my thoughts on trc are that it was probably the most formative ya series for me which is embarrassing but i really do love every character in there also i am currently making my way through rereading because i do plan to get to cdth and it is an experience i have been putting off bllb because sometimes i i revisit the whole scene where blue and malory talk about gansey and i want to scream also now that i think about it i think this and pjo were the first series i read with canonically gay main characters even if they weren’t confirmed right at the beginning so sadly it does have significance for that as well i don’t think it’s flawless i think that the plot is messy and convoluted but it does work as a series of character arcs relying on magical realism (adam cabeswater is the perfect example also adam is the best character in the series he is extraordinary) that happen to become entangled n dynamics that happen to progress and somewhere in there is a “plot” i also think that made the ending weak re: gansey not dying as we had all been anticipating as happy as i am that he didn’t die and as nice as the scene was if u asked me to focus on the narrative plot i would not be able to tell u what happened also i don’t like maggie and must try very hard to ignore her existence all of that being said i again think that this series is lovely it is full of yearning and of ideas/scenes that shaped me also blue and gansey lowkey shaped my ideal of love the trust and connection and yes the way i project on them both but i think about “she makes me quiet. like henrietta.” and i want to cry i could cry right now if i thought about it any more like it really is a terrible love and they are walking with spiders this response is a shambles i could keep going but i shall not thank u for asking
