The scene in ACOSF where Rhys eyes Nesta and Cassian in the training ring and Nesta thinks “little princeling didn’t like her with his friend” always makes me cackle because it’s such a good display of unreliable narrator (which is present in every POV SJM writes, just so we are all clear.)

Rhys literally has been plotting this shit since ACOFAS. He knows they’re mates (“it’s hard to tell” my ass High Lord you’ve been knew). When considering how possibly to “solve” this “difficult situation” his ENTIRE PLAN was “make it Cassian’s problem. That’s his mate he can deal with it. A traumatized Archeron that doesn’t know about the mating bond? The whole locked in the HoW with training and a library thing worked for Feyre and I. It’ll work again.”

Rhys’ whole POV is probably just mild annoyance and “hurry it the fuck up Cass” but Nesta is like wow he HATES to see us together. NO ONE could have PREDICTED what might HAPPEN UP HERE !!!
