#not looking forward to the ep airing on the date of my least favourite exam but ah well

(full body shiver) a kanghan that is full on teenage delinquent. who drinks and smokes and beats people up for fun. and a sailom with a sharper tongue, who is more open about his (mainly negative) feelings. a sailom who crashes and burns even academically as things progress and saifah doesnt graduate and eventually gets arrested. i sure do think about dangerous romance pilot trailer all the time (more details under the cut)

another thing that has stuck with me is how the "i dont have anything left" "you still have me" conversation takes place in the rain after a football match. the way kanghan immediately pulls sailom into a hug and sailom hesitates before hugging back. it reads very much like a kanghan who is about as desperate for affection as canon!kanghan together with a sailom who is still hesitant to get close to him (because yknow. kanghan did very much beat him up. it feels like something that would happen before they get together too so much to think about!)

and the marcpawin!!!! pawin punching kanghan telling him to fuck off and go play alone and marc holding him back. and the hug they share in the rain. i use the actor names here because originally pawin was meant to play guy but its interesting to think about either way!

a jealous pimfah is something im generally glad they left out. it can be interesting but i dont think a jealousy plot would really fit here (i also do think the love triangle is one of the weaker points of the final version. not bad just Weaker)

☝️ the pilot probably wasnt thinking TOO deeply about the storyline and timeline but i very much enjoy the idea of kanghansailom situationship until the very end. it can be interpreted in many different ways but i personally read it as kanghan and sailom not being officially together but caring deeply for eachother when sailon starts escorting which we KNOW is not how it goes in the series !!!! it makes my brain turn
