one thing on the “is buck-tick goth” question is that we could sit here and debate which bands are and aren’t goth until the eventual heat death of the universe, and honestly i’m all for disagreeing and i understand the reasons why people wouldn’t consider them a goth band and they’re absolutely valid. it’s just that when those people don’t hold western (white) goth bands to those same standards and consider them as goth despite them having those same “non-goth” traits that damned buck-tick in their eyes… well then it’s no longer about the music now is it.
