SALVATORE INKTOBER 8-9. OLD WORLD LEGACY
Clarence O'Malley (1903-1983) was a mountain of a man, the older brother to Leslie's mother Anna. Whereas Anna was never closely involved with the family business, Clarence was from a very young age. The Emerald Devils hit their peak during Prohibition, and this was when Clarence made his fortune smuggling whiskey around the United States. He very quickly rose through the ranks, soon becoming a key enforcer and overseeing many of the Devils' operations. Even when Prohibition came to an end, Clarence maintained his authority, ruling with an iron fist and a switchblade on him at all times. In the late 1920s, Clarence met his future wife, a spitfire of a woman named Daisy MacCarthy (1906-1980) who came from old money. Initially, Clarence pursued her for her family's money and influence, which she was fully aware of, but over time the two began to form a close bond. Within five years, they were engaged, and only a few months later, they were married. Their marriage was never particularly tumultuous, but they were rarely openly affectionate with each other. When Anna ran away to be with her little boyfriend, Westley, Clarence was disappointed. He and his sister had never been particularly close, but he missed her nonetheless, and he saw her choice a shortsighted cowardice. He had his men keep tabs on her, reporting back to Clarence regularly on Anna's whereabouts. If she ever noticed, she never said anything to him about it. Anna was stubborn, but so was Clarence, and so this continued for nearly 20 years. Then, in late 1959, Anna reached out to Clarence. She sent him a long, tearful letter, several pages long. In it, she lamented her decision to leave the family behind, begging Clarence to come see her. She couldn't take care of four children on her own, and she needed his help. Clarence, of course, accepted, happy his foolish little sister had finally come around. And so, in 1960, he paid Anna a visit for the first time in years.
aaaand another inktober!!! once again combining a couple prompts that work together thematically, as the two characters are directly linked. the original prompts are "lessons in masculinity" and "never fit for motherhood," and i combined them to be "old world legacy." basically referring to salvatore's mom's side of the family's *long* history with organized crime, haha!
i'll explain more about clarence and daisy in day 10's prompt, but for now, this is just some backstory about them. :D surely nothing will go wrong here. (something will go very wrong)
i did this in a pretty messy style just to get it done tbh... who needs neatness right now

Parent-Teacher Conference - A.H
Tumblr media
a/n: inspired by the show the nanny! major lover of mr sheffield and fran fine
masterlist
₊˚ ✩°。⋆♡ ⋆˙⟡♡ ⋆˙⟡♡⋆。°✩˚₊‧
pairings: aaron hotchner x nanny!reader
summary: you are not happy with jack's teacher flirting with your boss
warnings: hotch staring at your ass!, jealous reader, flirty reader, would prob def get a complaint against her in the real world, but alas!
wc: 0.8k
I'm terribly sorry, but my cat died before I got here.
I actually was in a car wreck on the way. I know I look fine, but it was super traumatic.
Mr. Hotchner you look so good today! Me? Late! Never.
These were the series of apologies and excuses that you were rehearsing in your mind as you navigated your way through the school hallway. In your defense, your tardiness to the parent-teacher conference wasn't without reason. Jack's newfound rebellious phase had him ruining your pantyhose with deliberate runs. He found it hilarious. You found it anything but.
You mentally prepared for that all-too-familiar, intimidating glare from Mr. Hotchner, the kind that could make you feel like you were plummeting from a cliff. Not only were you running late, but you also anticipated a less-than-glowing report from Ms. Thompson about Jack's recent antics. And in the back of your mind, a nagging voice whispered that Mr. Hotchner would somehow find a way to blame you.
"Oh, Aaron, you're something else!"
You stopped dead in your tracks, gaze locked on the scene unfolding before you. Ms. Thompson's voice took on a higher pitch, full of animation, her elbows subtly drawing her tits together, leaning into Mr. Hotchner's space with an ease that bordered on disrespectful. At least in your eyes.
Aaron? The casual use of Mr. Hotchner's first name sent your mood from sour to downright acrid. You strode into the classroom, inching your skirt higher and affixing a practiced, beaming smile to your face. It was all charm and no sincerity.
"So sorry I was late," you began, allowing a gentle sway in your step as you glided into the room, your heels clicking a measured tempo against the linoleum floor. You mustered all your willpower to not shoot daggers at the blonde headed teacher. "I didn't miss anything did I?"
As you stepped into view, both Ms. Thompson and Mr. Hotchner turned their eyes to you. Ms. Thompson's showed a flicker of surprise, while Mr. Hotchner's were like slits, scrutinizing. But even his discipline gaze dipped, albeit briefly, to the curve where your skirt ended.
"Oh, I... I didn't realize you were married, Mr. Hotchner," she mumbled, her hands fumbling gracelessly with the papers on the desk, her lips pinched in a straight line.
You could nearly hear the thoughts churning in Mr. Hotchner's head as his lips parted to correct her. Hastily, you cut in, "An innocent mistake, I'm sure."
He raised an eyebrow, a wordless question hanging in the air. Ignoring it, you flashed a saccharine smile and took the seat by his side, linking your arm with his. His muscles tensed, a reaction that almost coaxed a giggle from you.
It was all too easy to get a rise out of him.
"My wife, the epitome of timeliness,"Mr. Hotchner states dryly, his grip of your arm tightening just a tad more than called for.
To your astonishment, the remainder of the conference proceeded seamlessly from that point on. Ms. Thompson restrained herself, both in wardrobe and word, and unexpectedly showered Jack with praise.
Exiting the classroom alongside Mr. Hotchner, you noticed he paused just long enough to ensure Ms. Thompson was out of ear shot. That's when you felt the squeeze of his hand on your side, coming to rest on the curve of your lower back, the pressure didn't move even as you found yourselves alone in the hallway--and you were far from objecting.
"Really?"
Your shoulders rose and fell in a pretense of innocence, well aware that his perceptive eyes weren't fooled. You tilted into his shoulder, doing a mental victory dance when he made no move to distance himself.
"What?" you asked, clutching your purse tighter against your side as you paced forward. "I was just helping you out. She looked like she was about to jump your bones at any second."
Mr. Hotchner's face was unamused, per usual. "Your generosity knows no bounds."
"Right?" You were aware of his sarcasm, but that didn't deter you. Your shoulders bumped together as you made it to the exit. "Consider yourself lucky."
An eye roll was his immediate response, but you could almost sense the smile he was staunchly holding back. He would never admit it.
"Yes, how could I ever manage without you?"
He paused to open the door for you, following behind as you stepped outside. You squinted against the sun's harsh kiss before giving him a teasing wink over your shoulder. He looked really good in the sunlight. He could use more of it.
"You wouldn't."
You caught his eyes lingering not on your face, but lower--fixated on your skirt, more specifically your ass. You raised your brows in question.
"I think you sat in something."
You let out a startled gasp, hands flying to the material of your skirt. It was your favorite. "What? Where?"
His hands found their way to your waist, gently pivoting you for a better view, while your eyes settled on the stretch of road before you. "Oh, nope, my mistake. Looking good."
Your laughter spilled out uncontrollably, realizing just what he was doing. Cheeky man. And completely out of character, but you liked it. "Mr. Hotchner!"
"I take my role as husband very seriously."

Imagine you are the third head of the dragon.
Warnings: explicit smut, drama, angst—fluffy endings tho. We stand happy Aemond and happy Aegon; long post.
***
• (I)
You are the only princess of the four children of King Viserys and his second wife after the demise of Princess Helena before you were even born.
So at the time of your birth your grieving mother relied on you, giving you perhaps a different treatment that she conceded your brothers. The Queen is definitely more protective to you.
As you grow, robust and lively, you find yourself looking for a place between Aemond and Aegon.
To complicate things, your father neglects you and your mother starts to busy herself with queenship.
This is the background you find yourself for the moment. Overshadowed by an older sister you've never seen, ignored by two brothers who are constantly at each other, loneliness is your companion and you feed it with books, sharpening your mind as you grow.
It happens, however, that you find Aemond at the library this day. You'd quickly turn out had he not spoken to you first.
"Come here, Y/N. Why do I get the sensation that you are fleeing from me?"
You do as told.
"I do not think you appreciate my company for whenever I am nearby you disappear."
Leaving the book aside, he looks up and greets you with a small smile.
"So the princess speaks. Well, if it happens to be so it's because I have other tasks. Unfortunately our lessons are scheduled for different parts of a day."
Seeing you are still untrusting his words, Aemond sighs and moves to where you are.
"Come now, Y/N. What are you intending to read today?"
As one looks to the other, the initial distrust is overcome. Whatever Aemond sees in you finds home in how you let him in too.
*
Aegon sees you the moment he leaves Sunfyre.
The four and ten year boy watches as you, four years younger, pace lonely around the gardens.
He'd usually have no time to waste if the person in question was Aemond, but something about you changes his mind and he turns around.
"Is this a Targaryen trait to be able to read a book and walk at the same time?"
You raise your head and chuckle at his words.
Aegon has always been the unreachable elder brother, but for some reason you are like a sunbeam whenever he looks at you. And he is proud of himself for making you smile.
"I cannot say, but if this is the case then it is a gift I can at least claim."
Aware this hints at the fact you haven't reclaimed a dragon to yourself yet, the prince softens towards you.
"Dreamfyre is out there, you know."
"I cannot",
", and your smile falters. "It was hers."
Rarely the Queen spoke of Princess Helena to you. The sister whom you've never met was the eldest (she'd be joined by Aegon, Aemond, and Daeron before you came to this world) of the family, after Rhaenyra. She had claimed a dragon when she was two and ten, and had she lived today, she would be counting a second decade in this world.
But due to a sickness, two years after Helena delighted in riding Dreamfyre, she was no more. It did impact her family in many ways and you, born six years later, still feel daunted by her memory.
"Y/N", Aegon understands well what you left unsaid. "This is not how she would have liked to be remembered."
"You say it so because mother doesn't compare you to her like she does to me."
In pain, a bond rises. Aegon is surprised himself when he notices it.
"Oh, how mistaken you are, dear Y/N. I too wonder at times if it wasn't better for us all that the Gods spared her instead of me."
You take his hand in yours and you like how warm his skin is.
"Do not say so. You are good to me, Aegon. You can be good. Do not forget it."
That evening, Aegon could believe there is hope somewhere. About what? He cannot say.
***
• (II)
Tensions between Rhaenyra's offspring and the Queen's are growing slow, but intently. You have noticed how often Aemond has been mocked for not having a dragon to claim, a topic that is quite sensitive to you as well.
These are the moments where you come out of your cave.
"Leave him alone. It seems to me that neither of you are capable of understanding that it's to the Gods' decide whenever we bond with our dragons."
Lucerys laughs disdainfully at you, and Aemond sees you going red. A bad sign. He holds your hand as if he's trying to prevent you to get into a fight that is not yours.
But when Baela snaps back, the unexpected happens. You are brought to an unpredictable display of ire, pushed to the point where you knock her down.
"Shut up, won't you?!"
It doesn't get worse because Aemond interferes and, together with a very impressed Aegon, you are taken off the room. But the implications of the day only worsened your moods when Aemond himself loses an eye because of Lucerys.
"I am glad in you I can trust", says Aemond in a rare display of affection, of fragility.
You hold him tight.
"I cannot forgive myself for being absent this day. I failed to protect you, Aemond. For that I'm sorry."
He looks at you, partially amused.
"You are my younger sister. It's I who should say so, not you."
"Nevertheless..."
"Don't, Y/N. I'll be fine."
Neither speak for a moment. It's here where the lines are drawn out, where there is a subtle modification in the nature of the relationship between him and you. But what would you know?
***
• (III)
Here you are, watching Aegon flying with Aemond. Despite your pride, you took the opportunity to ride with your boys. The rarity of the occasion-where you, a rider unclaimed, had the chance to mount a very ancient dragon and another relatively younger-helps strengthening the bonds between you three.
But as you are tired, you are merely an observer.
Lying down in the green grass of the open field, a spot where you like to spend your time with your siblings, here is usually your safe haven, where no one troubles you —where the deranged concept of paradise can be traced in the back of your mind.
However, your flaws give you little time to rest upon. You are constantly reminded that everyone has a dragon but you. Though your father has shockingly observed Dreamfyre has no rider, you refuse to take the dragon of the sister whom everyone loved as yours.
Thus it is you start to recount in the back of your mind the dragons left yet to be tamed-if yet they can be claimed so. It's when your are reminded of a dragon as old as Vhagar... one of the kind that has long been left with no rider to claim as its own.
The arduous task emanates behind your eyes.
Ambition rises in your chest, but you are up to it.
When you observe Amond and Aegon up in the skies, you whisper to yourself:
"I am by no means lesser than any of them. I'll show them all I am the third head of the dragon."
A deadly promise that certainly has the eager ears of the divine.
*
The day chosen for this is, in fact, right after your lord father has died. Aegon has been chosen a king in opposition to Rhaenyra and as conspiracies roll to dethrone your elder sister in favour of a male heir, in similar parallels to the same council attended by King Jaehaerys many moons ago which determined that Prince Viserys would inherit the throne against Princess Rhaenys' rights, you follow your lead.
It happens to be a storming day, a bad omen to many-depending of the point of view. To a start, you are betrothed to Aegon.
"I have always assumed you'd have Lady Baela at your side", you are heard musing to your inexpressible elder brother.
Aegon limits himself giving you a long look.
"As if, my dear Y/N. As if!"
You chuckle quietly. And the sound of it makes the elder of the three to smile genuinely. Indeed, as you notice for the first time, it is a good sight to admire.
The now king who is styled as Aegon II seems to notice something different in you too. But this exchange of glances ends abruptly as businesses are conducted-and you notice that Aemond, a silent witness that is so easily mistaken to a shadow, doesn't like what he sees so he leaves.
You sigh and stand, going after him in spite of your mother's protests that you should stay so the betrothal is announced... But as you part nonetheless, Aegon's eyes refuse to follow you.
It appears I must learn to share.
The new king finds this concept a rather odd one, but his namesake did the same, so why not do the same? As he plays with his finger and hears the council planning his coronation day, Aegon realizes this may not be such a bad idea.
After all... there must be three heads of the dragon.
He shivers.
*
Aemond stands at the yard, his chest heavy, smashed by the weight of wishing everything he cannot possessed. He wishes they could see that it's Aemond, not Aegon, better suited for the crown, better suited for...
"Aem", like a whisper, like a prayer your voice comes to his ears.
Aemond slowly turns only to spot you dressed in dark green robes, hair split in two long braids.
You've turned to a woman, no longer the introspective child that feared his presence.
"Y/N", he whispers too.
"You left the council."
"So did you".
Silence. Aemond can tell you are irritated by his words. By how you breathe, he knows you are upset. And he wishes things are otherwise, but what can he do when you are out of reach?
"You should have stayed", you insist.
"What for? I have no use there", Aemond scoffs.
"This is not the true." When you slip towards him, the prince finds in your gaze a very obstinate trait that, however, is tempered by your gentleness.
Some you remind him of his ancestor, Queen Rhaenys. "We must stick together. The world out there is cruel, Aemond. We need each other."
His hands are now resting around your waist-an imperceptible gesture, done almost unconsciously—, drawing you closer, even though you need not so much encouragement to do it willingly.
When have these sentiments begun to change?
Or have they always been there? A question Aemond does not dare to pose even if they are detected in his good one eye, softened as you raise your right hand to stroke his cheek-and he does not push you away.
"I have never failed my duty, Y/Nickname", like the boy he was, he opens up to you. "But you are not mine to claim even though l'd be a better husband to you."
You smile and it is as if the clouds open up to let the light come in.
"I know you have not. Which is why I'm asking you to stay", you lean forward and Aemond detests the trap he's led into. "We need you. Perhaps not all is lost...”
You tilt your head, letting words be spoken.
Aemond knows that where you are concerned, there is no way to say otherwise. Haven't it always been like this?
Thus it is not entirely surprising that he cedes at your charms by wrapping his hands around your neck and looses the control of his impulses by locking his lips with yours.
You sigh in content, not fighting this urge nor repressing the sentiment that has always been there. You respond his kiss, gladly letting yourself be involved. For where darkness lies ahead, Aemond provides you some light.
"It seems better", says he when you both pull apart to catch some air, "to share you with him than with a stranger."
"I'm glad we have finally agreed", you smile like the silly thing you are.
Despite these merrier circumstances, you are very mindful of what's to be done. And you have no need to wait further for it... even though as you prepare to it, Aegon spots you.
"Never took you for sneaking, Y/N", the king comes at you, and you see in his eyes a mix of feelings that being tossed to such a high position brings him. "Is it me the cause of your elope?"
"I am not eloping, Aegon", you say calmly but firmly. "I have no reason to do so."
Aegon scoffs and an old wound is opened to bleed.
"I am not like Aemond. I understand that it is him you opt to be wedded to."
You sigh, aware of the task that awaits you.
Nevertheless, you are not someone known to be a quitter. You step forward, shortening the distance that for so long has been great.
"You are not unlovable, Aegon. In these peril times, we must not be apart of each other. Feelings do not make us kings. Duties do."
"Bards tend to claim that duties are the death of love", Aegon shoots you a long gaze, still distrustful of your intentions.
You let silence hang loose as you take his hand, moulding into yours as fingers are intertwined. It feels surprisingly good, warm and cozy. You stare at what this union means and you look up at him.
Aegon seems to share the surprise when observing how well your hands are. Little by little tension begins to fade.
"Duties should not be the death of duty. They can coexist." Your thumb rubs around his skin. "There must be three dragons, Aegon."
He sighs.
"I cannot protest against it."
"You can. I am not forcing you into anything for you are the king, after all."
Aegon snorts. It takes little time before he pulls you against him and lifts your chin so his lilac eyes reflect your ones.
"How grown and witter you've become, Y/N", and a sly smirk curls upon your lips when his eyes part to look down at your heavy breathing chest.
"Quite a woman indeed."
Experiencing this lust is to taste the fire of the dragon. Aegon smirks when reading these new sentiments that rise in you. But frustratingly.. he lets go of you.
"I shall best wait for our wedding feast. You'll not be disappointed. Have a good evening, my dear Y/ N."
How your name rolls out of his lips gives you shivers. You wish you could plead him to stay, you are tempted to follow your impulses... but as the king walks off, you let him think victory is with him. For this night you are expected elsewhere.
*
To cool off your womanly needs that have recently risen, you resignify your actions. There is a soft rain pouring this night and you are wearing your court gown. Guarded by two guards and a lady of your trust, you confide your life into the unknown.
You lead the way to the cave where a dragon as old as tale is left in his asleep. For years untroubled, no one dared to claim him. But you... you want more. You've always aimed higher. And we are not speaking of the game of thrones.
Wild as a beast, you are not the royal daughter of House Targaryen whose beauty has earned a rare comparison to Queen Rhaenys. Some bards dare to say you are her incarnation. You are you, Y/N of House Targaryen.
The third head of the dragon. The dragon they need.
Thus you venture inside the cave.
***
• (IV)
The moment you land Aegon's Hill with Vermithor is when every question about your apparent disappearance is answered. Aemond and Aegon are indeed surprised to find in the sweet and delicate sister they share a formidable ally in the upcoming war.
"Y/N, this is very bold of you", your mother tells you in between awe and annoyance. "To leave out in the dark without any explanation... do you realize how wrong this all could have gone to?"
"I'm sorry, mother, but I had to try."
"Wouldn't Dreamfyre be sufficient to you?"
"No. I am not here to supplant my deceased sister, but to be my own self."
The dowager queen doesn't like the answer she gets of you, but at the same time she sees herself in this precise response. She takes your hand into hers and you are more than pleased that you two come to terms about it.
Later that day, when you prefer not to be included in the green's council, Aemond comes at you. You are found at the backyard, reading under a tree.
"I pray I am not interrupting anything."
You lift up and the rogue prince smiles to himself when seeing how lighted up you are at his presence. You quick move to where he is and Aemond is drowned to your presence, burying his face in your neck.
"Gods, I missed you", you say, hands stroking his long hair. "I wish we were not part of this, Aemond."
"Neither did I, but we must protect Aegon at all costs" , says the prince, now stepping back to look at you. He sees through your beauty, aware that this is someone bold like him, rider of an ancient dragon. You are every inch of Queen Rhaenys the Conqueror's blood.
Hands intertwine as gazes are locked. Whatever path this conflict is leading all of you to, you are prepared to take part of it.
"We must and we will." You stroke his face. "We need each other, Aemond. We truly do."
"For we are the three heads of the dragon", muses Aemond, taking your free hand to his lips, upon which he presses a kiss. "I know it as much as you do."
You lean forward to kiss his lips. To feel him one more time is a must, but this is not a goodbye.
This should not feel so.
Specially because Aemond has other plans to weave.
*
Meanwhile, you opt to visit Aegon in his privy quarters. It has been some time since the two of you had a moment to yourselves...and you detest the anguishing possibility that he's been avoiding you.
Aegon is found sharing a drink with his mates when he sees you. Embellished in a mix of green and red, your hair is long lose in curls that match your delicate features.
Can he look away before this view? He cannot. What is more, you are naturally seductive and yet completely ignorant of the power you have in others.
Aegon thus finds reasonable to dismiss his friends and greet you properly.
"What a delighted surprise it is to find you here, Y/N."
"Should it be so?", you take a seat next to him. "I shall be your wife within days and even though it is an arranged marriage, I believe we must make the best out of it."
Aegon looks at you as if he's trying to read your true intentions, but you are being as genuine as your nature permits you to be. He chills then.
"I've always considered Aemond to be a better match for you."
"We cannot be apart of each other, Aegon. Not in these perilous times", and here you take his hand, gently holding it. "You are not by yourself."
Aegon doesn't answer at first. You stand and move to where he is, daring to involve him in an embrace. His head is now against your chest, and you stroke his hair as he holds you against him.
His breath against your skin gives you shivers. But you know what you are doing.
Little by little, right at the throne chamber, where only the fireplace is the witness, Aegon starts to unlace your gown and his lips are suddenly over the swell of your breasts going up to your neck.
You smile, very inclined to it-you move your hip to sit right over his, letting him do whatever he wants with you. Because you are not so innocent, hardly a lamb-you are just as passionate as he is.
And his lips going to your neck so hungrily, makes you wipe out reason of your mind. You moan softly, pleased to be introduced to this matter.
Aegon's left hand moves to your hips and legs, lifting your skirt, his teeth claiming your neck all the while.
And you throw your head back, eyes barely closed when his eager flingers find his ways to your aching womanhood.
"Has he touched you?", Aegon whispers in your ear, biting down your earlobe and smirking pleasantly when seeing you shiver.
"No. It is my husband's merit to do so", you tell him, feeling his aroused member pump against your womanhood.
You'd gladly move against it, rubbing yourself in the process, but his finger suddenly finds the way to your core.
"Oh Gods!", you cry out.
Aegon smiles pleasantly. His smile, burning bright like the sun, is so captivating. And yet here you are, subdued to him as he touches you in such an indecent manner.
"Mm." He buries his head in your neck, holding you close, always tender, always considerate to you. "Yes, my dear Y/N. Come to me, will you?"
You are experiencing a new kind of bliss, so indescribable, that you cannot help yourself being so loud. You cling onto him, your lips desperately looking for his to clash.
It’s a different sensation to kiss your betrothed, and him, likewise. A new bond is forged from fire and blood. The result of it… Aegon feels right in his hand.
“I told you”, you cup his face as you rest your forehead against his, “that you are not unlovable nor undesired, Aegon.”
You are breathless by the time you pursuit him. For the first time in a while, Aegon grants you permission to let you in. As he cuddles you, hands wrapped around your waist, the king says:
“Gods be good for sending you, my darling.”
“Anything for my king, my love.”
And you mean every word of it.
***
• (V)
Right before the marriage is officially celebrated in the common rites of Westeros, another is on its way under the rites of Old Valyria. For both brothers espouse you as their wife.
“Who’d see this day coming?”, says Aegon in a jest. “Like the good old days.”
Aemond shoots him a meaningless look.
“Better it keep in the family than out of it.”
“The dragons must be three”, you say, rather moved by a strange intuition that occurs you every now and then. “Three. Not two. Never two.”
“The old should hardly have been replaced by the new”, says Aemond. “Tradition is something very few valued these days.”
“Quite the opposite, brother”, says Aegon in good mood. “We are prevailing, can you not see it?”
So the ceremony proceeds after all of the tree has come to an agreement that this is a secret with few to share…
*
Later that evening, you try not to look so nervous as the bedding feast begins. You spot a discreet Aemond retiring and you partly fear that he will not join you and Aegon. The mere idea, though, gives you shivers and begins to shake your nerves.
Aegon, seeing how you struggle to conceal your true sentiments, takes your hand under the table and gives a light squeeze. Then he leans discreetly to whisper in your ear:
“All in your time, my dear. If you do not wish to partake it, I can…”
“No”, you tell him firmly. “I shall perform my duties accordingly. Besides…”, and here you flash him a mischievous smirk, “…this is something I’ve been looking forward to do.”
Aegon smirks at you, but when he reclines back to his chair to down another glass, his eyes remain glued in you. He knows you more than you’d have judged.
And yet when he comes to take your hand into his, you dare to look at him again and now… as you two share a look, you feel at ease for the very first time.
*
When you get to the privy quarters, you are putting up with a confidence you lack. You dress only one line robe over your nude frame and your silver hair hangs loose on your back.
The door opens and to your surprise you find Aegon and Aemond, both waiting for you. They are talking as if nothing different is about to happen, as if this is a regular day to them both.
You are rather relieved to see them getting along like they have always been—partners, brothers and friends. Aegon doesn’t look troubled like he often is whenever he’s at the council or nearby his Hightower relatives, your mother being one of them.
His hair is slightly shorter, hanging it at his neck, a complete mess of curls. He is wearing his me nightgown, which shows his bare legs and… You blush at the sight of his manhood, something you’ve never had a glimpse before.
It is a struggle to look at Aemond, though, who is dressed similar. You think you are about to faint, but the subtle warmth you experience in your womanhood certainly prevents you to shy away of consuming this union you’ve longed to arrange.
As you step forward silently so, all eyes are now on you. Aegon and Aemond share a look as if there’s a silent agreement about something. It feels as if they have already discussed how this is going to be.
“Our wife looks stunning this evening”, says Aegon, coming forward to greet you. He takes your wrist and there presses a linger kiss, and something about how you react to this simple gesture makes him smirk. “Do you not think so, brother?”
“Ever the charming”, and here comes Aegon, standing by your right, his slander hand gently touching your curls. “She, whose beauty is unmatched, has come to love us both.”
“Equally”, Aegon sublimes it, very pleased to detect a blush on your paled cheeks. Standing by your left, he gently strokes your face, before slipping a hand to your chest, thus starting to unlace your robes.
“Equally”, Aemond agrees, gently touching your jawline and neck. “And so do we.”
“For there must be”, Aegon whispers in your ear the moment your robes drop to the floor, “three heads of the dragon.”
You shiver. Speechless, all you can do is appreciate their handsomeness. You touch their faces, letting your gaze transmit all your tongue cannot.
The connection is indeed strong, for neither feels the need to translate to words what has always been understood, accepted and taken into the respective hearts.
As Aemond takes his time in exploring your body, his lips slowly going to your cheek to your neck, it’s Aegon who takes the initiative in showing you the ways of… a marital activity.
“Oh Lords”, it’s all you eventually manage to speak out when Aemond kisses your neck and you start to caress Aegon’s manhood all the whilst you are told so many naughty things that make your womanhood ache.
“Mm”, Aegon groans lightly as he takes your hand and leads the way, teaching you how to caress his erect manhood, pumping all the way. “You are natural in this, Y/N.”
You purr the moment he kisses your lips and Aemond starts to caress your already painfully hardened nipple. You throw your head back, about to lose your balance—but thankfully Aemond has a hand to rest on your lower back.
It is a very promising night. Your innocence is certainly no more as you start to enjoy doing it so. Your lips are now going fervent from one to another, a victim of their prey—for though you believed to have had this all along, when Aegon takes your breasts with his skillful hands only to let Aemond slide to his knees and do wonderfulness in your womanhood… you see this has been woven by them for a long time.
“Ah!”, you throw your head back, already a puddle of mess as Aemond takes you all with his tongue.
“Cry out, Y/N. Scream if you dare”, Aegon smirks, pleased to have you the way he wanted you to be: completely corrupted.
“I cannot…”
“Holding back is only worse, and we haven’t even begun yet.”
When your eyes meet, you realize this is their doing and you are their creature. Thus you explode in orgasms, but Aemond doesn’t shy away from drinking all of it.
*
It is Aegon who has the privilege to bed you first. Aemond is very patient—in fact, he likes to watch and make eye contact with you as the elder of you penetrates you nice and slow. It’s delightfully painful to be in this manner, and you never felt so good nor desired, less so to be loved and admired.
As you are close to get your climax, Aemond takes his part in it. Aegon leaves it him to finish the task, but you want more of it—don’t waste the seed, you ask him.
And you engulf it, when Aegon does as requested.
“Indeed, the three of us are nothing but a great piece of art”, muses Aemond as he throbbes inside you.
In this mix of bodies and pleasures and pain, it is only fair that synchrony does its work and pays it well the effort that is to love two men at the same time.
*
Yet, not all is about bedding activities and indecent leisures. War is still being carried out and news have been bad enough to shake the confidence of the Green Cause.
For it is said that Rhaenyra has accomplished a number of bastards to ride some wild dragons. It means to say Aegon is outnumbered.
Hopeless as it may, neither Aegon nor Aemond are willing to quit a fight. What they must do is put in practice the good old strategy: to divide is to conquer. This means they start to ponder how to do so… when they remember that you are the rider of a dragon as old and powerful as Vhagar is.
“Do not think”, your mother, who’s part of the council, is informed before you do of their intentions, “that Y/N should take part of this. She is too innocent for this matter and has no taste to wage wars.”
Aemond clenches his jaw but Aegon dares to snap back:
“To think we are this low morally, mother, gives the light upon which you see us. Well, let me remind you that Y/N loves to ride and is every bit a Targaryen. To hid her away will not change the fragility that you put me through!”
“I intend to keep your throne by all means I can”, says Alicent just as firm. “But this does not require that I must test all of my offspring.”
“This is war”, says Aemond. “What else do you expect? Innocent and guilt are not spared, nor noble or lowborn folk. If you intend to fight for our cause, well then, light the way.”
Otto Hightower, so far watching the discussion with interesting eyes, decides this is the proper time to interfere.
“I was not expecting a wise remark of Aegon, but there it is. He is right, Alicent. War does not spare anyone and hasn’t Y/N claimed Vermithor? Vantage is in our side and we must use it. Next to Vhagar, no one will stand for us. However… We must reason how to do so.”
“I see how little my own perspective here is considered”, and yet Alicent adds: “Be this if it may. Let us fight with the claws we have. We will indeed light the way to the throne and burn all of those who dare to stand in our path.”
Finally, Aegon smiles. Finally a queen who fights for the rights of her children. It seems the greens have finally been tied in one knot.
*
You are found pacing around the gardens with two ladies a few feet behind in order to grant you some privacy. Having just landed after riding with Vermithor, you need to settle before going back to court.
The court, an ideal world where illusions are played in order to entertain courtiers and put a rein to the noble houses’ ambitions. Ruling it is like ruling a realm. One misstep and diplomatic relations can break.
To keep a certain distance between nobility and the royal household you must dress as significant as possible—for fashion is every princess’s weapon, a form to express power through rich cloth that no one can purchase. This exclusivity has always been part of House Targaryen, the only one to exhibit purple cloth amidst its traditional colours to reinforce its royalty.
Not only you dress fancifully to show your power as Queen, but your manners too are regal and carefully pondered. Always the diplomatic, you are impeccable whenever you entertain men and women who could possibly be working for Rhaenyra right now.
Since you do not like the attention, you appreciate the role that most might judge—your enemies, overall—as superficial. But to work beneath the table always works better.
So here you are resting when he finds you.
“Of all the changes I’ve seen, it is good to see one thing remains the same”.
You turn around to see Aegon in his traditional green robes. The tenderness in his face when seeing you warms your heart and distracts you of this recent exhaustion that has been plaguing your heart. But this perception you do not share with anyone.
“What is that, I wonder?”, you smile warmly as you motion towards him.
Aegon takes your hand before pulling you closer to him.
“That your tastes have not been affected by the transition of age.”
You blush. Who could have foreseen that a bold as this would grow to a deeper sentiment, far more than lust and affection could conceive?
“You know more than you show.”
Aegon takes your hand and brings it to his lips.
“How can I not know my lady? My wife and queen, my greatest support.”
“You, as my king and blood of my blood, are more than I deserve.” And here you move boldly to press your lips against his, not minding the protocols.
A serene kiss that, both of you know, not only comes so naturally to physically reinforce this tenderness that involves each, but that tempers the bad news you sense that may come.
“You have something to tell me.”
It is not a question. Aegon sighs, but since Aemond has parted with Vhagar, he is left with the discomfort decision of giving you the resolution of the council.
“How’d you know? Has my discomfort played its card?”
You smile benignly, always the patient.
“When I made you and Aemond the solace of my heart was not only moved by this strange intuition that a dragon must have three heads. It was more than inclination to old prophecies that anyone would understand.” You shrug your shoulders, but none of this surprises your husband, already familiar with the topic.
“This means that when I claimed Vermithor, I was prepared for the day we would be challenged. Your cause is uncontested, my love.”
“I only wish I had not involved you in this.”
You kiss your cheek.
“Not even Rhaenys contented herself with entertaining court for so long. When her Aegon required, she attended her duties. So, mine own liege Aegon, what is it you request of me, your humble wife?”
Aegon swallows, but when he raises his eyes, you see resignation behind them.
So he tells you the plan.

• (VI)
The day before the three of you would fly with your dragons and lead your armies to war, you find yourself feeling slightly nauseous. Thankfully a maid came to succor you before you succumbed to your strange new moods.
“Thank you”, you smile at her. “But I’m fine. I’ll be fine.”
Early this morning you have found yourself in a strange twist of humour since you’ve been without either of your husbands and bed has been cold. You struggle to be in a good mood when war leaves you anxious and the company of your mother irritates you every now and then.
There is always a great price to pay to keep my emotions in check.
Thankfully though, Aemond is the first to return and you rush to greet him. Today, it’s raining and you do not mind to get wet when you welcome him in your arms.
“Looks like I was missed”, muses the prince with a smirk when being engulfed by you. His hands caress your sides before lifting you and spinning you around.
“You took some time, Aemond. It is unjust to leave me waiting.”
“My apologies, wife, but you know I cannot flee my duties”, and here he takes your hands and kisses each before doing the same to your lips. “I have missed you more than it is sensible to conceive.”
Resting his forehead against yours, Aemond is at peace again, a rarity ever since the war has started—specially after what happened to Lucerys, which had ran out of his control and he never forgave himself for that.
Sensing his troubled soul, you take him inside the castle, trying to distract of his mind. He appreciates the effort, and you two have your privacy at the library, running away of this plagued world for a few moments.
“This is where it all begun”, says Aemond, amused as he scans the shelves where heavy and dusted books are kept. “I recollect you feared me a bit.”
You smile at the memory.
“I thought you were unreachable and that was because you didn’t like me.”
Aemond snorts at you.
“Dislike you?”, he lifts your chin and draws you closer to him, imposing his taller presence in a way that makes you weak in your knees. “How could you nurture such thought?”
You feel like you’ve been dancing with him towards the wall, for you hit your back against it and he presses you in it. It doesn’t help your state that he pulls his knee right in between your legs, rubbing it against your womanhood.
And your reaction is precisely what he expects.
“You… you were often so out of my reach”, you tell in short curt breath. “Aemond, darling, we are not in our privacy.”
He smirks, leaning to peck your lips as he lifts the skirts of your gown. It occurs to him that something about your body looks different, but not knowing what this is, he doesn’t pay attention to it yet.
“Is that so?”, and his hand makes the path he’s so familiar with. “You’ve been lonely, I know.”
You are barely short breathed as you feel it going to your womanhood. Your eye flashes are barely open and the moment his finger starts to do wonderfulness in you, every protocol dies in mute resistance.
“How could you tell?”, you moan, desperately holding onto his shoulders, pulling his hair back before kissing his jawline and burying your lips to his neck.
“Because”, Aemond’s breath hitches for a moment before he whispers, “I know your apetites well.”
“You are the blood of my blood”, and now your hand is quick to find its way to where you want it to be. “It could not be otherwise.”
But Aemond holds your wrists above your head, pinning you further against the wall as he quickly slides his manhood in you just as you are about to reach climax in his skillful hand.
“Aemond!”, you cry out.
“Mine that you are, my queen”, and he shushes you with a fervent kiss all the whilst he bangs you against the wall intently.
*
You are standing outside the castle in your own armor suit. Vermithor has left the dragon’s pit and it seems to feel your anxiety. The old winged beast looks eager to go back to war, to be useful again and you cannot blame him for it. It only mirrors your sense of duty.
“You don’t have to do this, Y/N”, you hear your mother’s plead and when feeling her pain, you are moved by it. When you turn at her, you see her struggling between encouragement and fear for her only daughter… and considering the premature death of Princess Helaena, you realize you should have been kinder.
“I know where my duties lay, mother. Let me do this for my house like Queen Rhaenys did for hers.”
“And look what it befell her!”
You side smirk at your mother before pressing a kiss over her forehead.
“We are not fighting the Dornish, mother.”
But as you move to your dragon, Aegon and Aemond seem to reconsider your part in this. When hearing their hesitance, you scoff at them.
“We are in this together whether you like it or not. There is much to be done. I am not merely your wife, but a queen also, a queen who fights for her kings.”
The three of you stay silent for a few seconds. It falls to Aemond the task to give each a charge to put an end to this bloody war. But little do you know what’s yet to roll…
When it is about to each follow the path and mount each dragon respectively, you are taken by a bad feeling that makes you rush to Aegon.
“Wife”, he greets you with that sunny smile that has always been a weakness of yours. The king is adjusting the armor before getting to Sunfyre. “Shouldn’t you be on your way to Y/C?”
“I should, but I came to wish you my luck”, you say, strangely emotional. You come to realize you’ve been very weird lately, but so far you’ve managed to successfully kept a show. “Aegon, do not be imprudent.”
“Well, if anything falls on me, you have Aemond.”
To his surprise, you burst in tears. Aegon softens, having clearly underestimated the degree of affection you have for him. All his life he felt he’s been overshadowed whether by his younger brother or his elder sister, so he struggled to find his own place.
And yet… to see how you love him, even if he’s always agreed to share you with Aemond, aware that you and him had so far more affinities that with him—which he accepted well—, makes him somewhat emotional.
“You are not unlovable, Aegon”, you sob as he breaks in and holds you against him. “Do not dare to say such a thing. You are irreplaceable.”
So this is what it feels like, a thought occurs him. To feel loved.
“I do not deserve you. And you deserve someone better.”
“Shush, you fool. You are not only the king and blood of my blood, but the solace to my poor desolate heart.”
Aegon smiles to himself before lifting your chin and looking right into your eyes.
“My sweet Y/N, this is not the day I plan to die.”
“Do not dare to leave me in this world.”
He kisses you thus and you mewl under his embrace.
“Never.”
Reluctantly, though, Aegon parts of you. Very chivalrous, he takes your hand to his lips and there presses a kiss. The sight of you, not as a regal queen, but a devouted wife transports him to the old songs he used to love as a young man.
Oh but they will sing about us. The song of the three head dragons. The song about the queen who loved her brothers.
The idea encourages him to move forward. But even when he does so, you cannot wipe away the cascade of tears that expose you to an unknown cruciate misery.
*
Moved by strange sentiments, you think wise to follow them. What a sight by many to see you mounting Vermithor.
“There goes my sweet child. My only daughter”, the queen sighs in melancholy as she watches you fly.
“She is very brave, sister”, her brother, Ser Gwayne, says with a hint of pride. “There is a reason why Vermithor chose her and not the other way around.”
His words are very prophetic. And the Black party would be the first to feel its weight.
*
Aegon meets Rhaenys, the Queen Who Never Was. But it is a rather unmatched fight: Meleys is older and experienced in battle all the whilst this is the first time poor Sunfyre is put to war.
The king holds the reins of his angst, but he tries his best even when the scenario is at his worst. The inevitable seems to occur, the circumstances do not favour him at all.
“I know we can do this”, Aegon mumbles to Sunfyre.
It is when so suddenly a grunting howl breaks through the air. It gives shivers to anyone who hears it. Soldiers down the field interrupt their fighting to see, fearful, who is coming to bring desolation to their cause.
If it is Caraxes, the Greens shake. But this is a dragon older perhaps than Prince Daemon’s winged creature.
Mounting for war, you ride Vermithor well prepared for the fight.
“This is my husband. This is my king and you will not take him of me.”
Vermithor senses the weight of his words. He does not wait for the order, he attacks. Aegon is surprised by how bold you are in battle. And what is more, you came to aid him.
He smiles in relief when seeing Vermithor out power Meleys, even though this is not an easy fight for the Red Dragon has her own experiences.
But Vermithor is deadly, dangerous and… mad. The dragons dance and it is no ordinary dance. One bite in the other’s belly, stretching out until…
“DRACARYS, VERMITHOR!”
A victory for the green cause, but this hasn’t finished yet. Not too far from it comes Baela in her dragon. She flies in complete outrage, but when your gaze meets Aegon’s, well… the princess must be prepared for a double wave of equal display of rage.

• (VII)
As war carries on, victories and losses have their prices. Despite the green’s evident advance, you are troubled by the dreams of a battle between your husband Aemond and your uncle Daemon.
To worse matters, Rhaenyra has summoned Targaryen bastards to ride wild dragons. You have been in advanced stages of pregnancy when it all seemed to lead for her upcoming victory—she’s been planting spies in the capital to stand for her cause, which means it is a matter of time before she takes King’s Landing.
“You are staying with our mother at Hightower, should the worse happen”, decides Aegon. “Do not give me this look, Y/N. You might as well as be carrying our heir, so I cannot stress—nor should I—enough the importance of your safety.”
These arguments are reasonable enough to convince you to stay. But to leave Vermithor behind? This is a risk you are unwilling to take.
“You must be out of your senses to suggest flying with your dragon in this state!”, Aemond hears your suggestion completely baffled. “What part of the safety of our unborn child do you not comprehend?”
You gritted your teeth and hiss away, storming off to your chambers. Not a very mature more when you know they are correct in worrying over you—your pregnancy has been giving you some concerns too, since you’ve been feeling exhausted for no reason. But such is the way of a pregnant woman.
“She will come to her senses”, says the Queen dowager. “Y/N has gotten used to be very active in her role, whether as wife, whether as queen, so it is understandable she’s not been taking well to be frustratingly… quiet.”
A sensation that Lady Alicent has been familiar with, but it is only vague since, in truth, she’s been plotting behind the scenes to impede Rhaenyra’s advance.
“Just… make sure the baby comes out well”, says Aemond, concealing the distress that is to go to war and leaving you behind for the first time.
“And make sure she’s safe”, adds Aegon, concerned likewise.
Alicent nods. She smiles at them. Once she found…unusual that the three of her children had linked so deeply in many levels, but now she is proud of the family they’ve become. Otto’s plans, her plans, succeeded and she wished Viserys saw that.
Now they part under grey clouds and mysterious scenes that lay ahead to be fought.
*
To the dowager queen’s surprise your labour is difficult. Perhaps due to your emotional state, it is more complicated that it would be assumed.
The men fight their battles and here you are, fighting yours in your own battlefield: the childbed.
Hours pass and no relief is found. Your screams can be heard in the corridors as you try to follow the midwife’s commands to push.
It really does not help that in this moment you have a sort of dream, a vision of a green battlefield painted in red. The blood of innocent spills in it, screams of terror follow the sound of blades.
Above skies, dragons dance. To your atonement, it is blurred. You cannot spot even the colors of the beasts, but their sounds scratch your ears and you begin to breath anxiously.
“Aegon…. Aemond…”
The sounds turn into cries and eventually… one of the dragons collapses. You shake before the view. Regardless of sides, dragons represent the power of the house Targaryen.
But there must be always three. Three heads of the dragons.
You know not where this certainty has come from. Like your sister Helaena you have dreams, but in your own way. They are not always clear and often come blurred. But this certainty…
Well, what does it matter now? You want to put an end to this misery. So you cry out with all the strength you have.
*
“Daemon Targaryen is dead”, Otto announces proudly and in evident display of emotion. “Gods be good, we are so close to victory.”
“Our plans have finally come to fruition”, Alicent cheers to it, downing another glass of wine. “Once my girl is recovered, I can tell she will give a fantastic ball.”
“Sometimes I am reminded of your mother whenever I look at Y/N”, says he, contemplative. “She has such a merry and firm spirit within that is hard not to be captivated. Helaena would have liked her.”
Sadness flashes behind Alicent’s eyes. Two children she lost in these years—first, Helaena; second, Daeron—and these losses a mother can hardly be fully recovered of.
“Yes, I like to think so. Had Helaena lived, though, this madness wouldn’t go forward.”
“Madness?”, Otto chuckles. “Aegon the Conqueror was not seen as mad when he took his two sisters as his wife. Regardless whether he did for duty or passion, it was wise to keep blood within the family. A trend the House you married to kept.”
“But not like this. Two husbands…”.
Alicent is baffled by the lack of atonement on her father’s part, but his stare leaves her disconcerted.
“Tell me you wouldn’t have done yourself if you had the opportunity. To be wedded to two Targaryens. And you know whom I speak of.”
The dowager queen chooses the silence. It suddenly appears reasonable not to question your matters of heart so openly…
*
You are just recovering when the door opens and you see Aegon and Aemond breaking through. You blush when seen in this state: dressing in a line nightgown, looking tired and paled after a day breastfeeding your twins.
“Oh! You have returned so soon!”, you’d quickly try to throw your robes over your frame, but Aegon promptly stops you to do so.
“Don’t, Y/N. You must rest. It isn’t as if we haven’t seen you undressed before”, says he with a smug smirk that makes you warm. He strokes your hair before being embraced by you. And Aegon is surprised when you start to weep. “Y/Nickname… what are these tears for?”
Aemond is reclined against your bed’s support watching the scene with the same puzzled expression.
“Have you even been churched?”
“I apologize for my overly emotional react. May be motherhood, but whatever it is… I am overjoyed in seeing you both so well! Does this mean we have won?”
Both brothers look at each other and had not been the glimpse of mischief you spot in their gaze, you’d have been despaired.
“Well?”, you insist in not the best of the moods.
“I am uncontestedly the king of Westeros”, says Aegon, very pleased in delivering the news and more so for seeing you smile so brightly. “You’ll know the details later, but first… how have you been?”
It’s when they are told of the children you gave birth to. Jaehaerys and Visenya, very Targaryen names who remit to two of the most powerful Westerosi sovereigns you descend of.
“I like to think Jaehaerys is yours”, says Aemond to Aegon, quite amused before the fact you birthed two children when you married two different men. “And Visenya is mine.”
In this late evening, once everyone is comfortable, you are found in between your husbands.
“Really?”, Aegon chuckles. “Why’s that?”
“Just a feeling I have. But it doesn’t matter this much, does it?”
But you do not take part of the conversation, for exhausted you are, you fall asleep… and for the first time in a long while, it has no green dreams to daunt you…

The Best Things Take Time
Bucky has a code. You manage to crack it.
Tumblr media
A/N: This took me so long because I wasn't really sure how I wanted to go about it. I'm pretty happy with it, I think. Also, my first request! I hope I did your brain-child justice. :) Warnings: Mild language. Based on this request. Note: I do not own the character Bucky Barnes or any other Marvel affiliated characters.
You do not have permission to repost or translate my work; however, feel free to like, comment, and/or reblog.
----
Bucky Barnes decided early on in his life as a free man that he wasn’t going to try and date—even with Sam and Yori pushing him all the time. His triggers are gone, yes, but he is starkly aware that he still has a long way to go before he might be considered ready to give time and energy to another person on a daily basis. However, if there is anyone in the world that makes him reconsider his own rule, it’s you.
The two of you first formally met when Steve, Sam, and yourself finally tracked him down. You were kind to him, but you kept your distance. He never made many attempts to speak with you, but the short interactions he did have with you were short and clinical. He never asked, but he’s pretty sure you’re afraid of him—of what he’s done.
Despite this assumption, Bucky takes note of the way you drop everything to help him time and time again. You back him in Washington, you back him in Siberia, you back him in Wakanda, and you back him in Washington in the second go-round. He is appreciative—very much so—but he keeps his distance regardless. After all, he shouldn’t risk losing an ally by something as silly as small talk.
Things begin to change, though, when he runs into you at the airport. Both him and you felt the need to get on Sam’s back about giving up the shield.
“What are you doing here?” You ask, a little indignantly. You cringe a little at your tone, but you brush it off nonetheless.
Bucky shoots you an annoyed look before turning to Sam.
Throughout the mission to track down the Flag Smashers, you and Bucky bicker (even more than Sam and Bucky do). You challenge him on every opinion he shares, poke fun at every misstep he takes, and side with Sam for the sake of disagreeing with him. He returns the favor, and he ignores the bitter taste it leaves in his mouth.
Your interactions are not particularly pleasant, sure, but they’re existent—which is progress.
“Does he always stare like that?” Walker asks Sam, eyeing Bucky uncomfortably.
“You get used to it,” Sam replies.
You glare at Walker. His attitude towards you and your boys bothers you. His entitlement to Steve’s shield and name bothers you. He bothers you.
“Does she always stare like that?” Walker asks, shifting uncomfortably in his seat.
“Only when douchebags harass my friends,” you deadpan.
You are plenty aware this is the first time you’ve called Bucky your friend, and you can tell he is too by the way his eyes shift from Walker to you. You’re not aware, though, that your concession of friendship serves as the push he needs to talk to you more.
It takes time, but over the next few weeks, Bucky manages to get you to open up. He’s surprised with himself by how he’s willing to talk to you; after all, people are usually trying to get him to talk.
Bucky finds out that you’re actually not as reserved as he thought, but you had heard both Steve’s stories of before and multiple people’s accounts of after. Your distance, you admit, was a consequence of you trying to give him space when everyone else was crowding him. Your teasing and bickering with him was a consequence of trying to create said space. The revelation makes Bucky’s heart clench: no one has made him feel so cared for in a long time.
Bucky sticks by his no dating rule, though. After all, you may be friends, and you may be acting nicer to him lately, but there’s no way you like him like that.
Or, at least he thinks so until Louisiana.
“Hey, Sarah,” Bucky says, flashing a charming smile at her from where he sits next to Sam and yourself on the dock.
“Hey!” You smack his chest with the back of your hand. “No flirting with Sam’s sister.”
He lets his attention shift to you, and he can’t help the surprise. He’s aware that you could just be enforcing Sam’s demand from earlier, but you’re so adamant. He thinks maybe he sees a flash of jealousy in your eyes, but he thinks, too, he might just be seeing what he wants to see.
Sam and Sarah continue to bicker before she shoos the three of you away from the boat. Sam and Bucky step onto the dock and begin to walk away before you, and they keep walking even when Sarah stops you.
“Subtle,” she says, smirking at you. You wave her off, your face heating up with a blush.
“Shut up,” you say, embarrassment entwined with each syllable.
Bucky thinks maybe—just maybe—you might like him back.
Looking back on the last few years, Bucky can hardly believe the journey you and he had been on. Being so distant most of your time together in the first few years, and then being so rude to each other the next few, and then needing a push from the Wilsons to actually do anything about your feelings… it was interesting, to say the least.
He remembers the day you agreed to leave Louisiana with him. It was an impulsive decision, but it led to the first time the two of you had truly been alone together. It led to inside jokes and deep conversations. It led to a genuine friendship.
“I’m headed out tomorrow,” Bucky informed you and Sam.
The three of you were sitting on the porch of Sarah’s house, conversation flowing from friendly jests, to Karli, to the boat, to whatever else. Your head shot up to stare at him, eyes widening.
“What? Why?” Your tone was a little panicked. Bucky raised his eyebrows at your tone. Sam laughed, and you shot him a glare.
“I don’t want to overstay my welcome, Doll,” he said. Ever since the incident with Sarah, he’d let a few pet names for you fall from his lips, and he smugly noted the way they made you squirm.
“Oh.”
“Well!” Sam exclaimed, clapping his palms on his knees as he stood. “I’m gonna go check on Sarah and the boys while you,” he pointed at the two of you in turn, “figure whatever is going on here out.”
You protested, but Sam was gone without another word. Neither one of you spoke for a moment, and you chewed on your lip.
“You’re really going?” You asked shyly.
“Yeah.”
“Oh.”
“You can come with me, if you want,” he offered before he can think better of himself.
Your eyes shot to his, analyzing his face for any sort of jest. He seemed sincere, and once you decided he wasn’t pulling your leg, you responded.
“Okay.”
He remembers the day the two of you finally addressed that you were more than friends. Bucky, of course, has a no dating rule, and you? You had no such thing, but you weren’t dating either. In fact, you hadn’t since before Karli and the Flag Smashers showed up.
Bucky and yourself were at a bar, drinking and laughing with one another. He was sober, of course, but you were a little tipsy. You had a dopey smile on your face that he thought was the prettiest thing he’d ever seen. He still thinks your smile is the prettiest thing he’s ever seen.
That’s when a young woman sauntered up to the bar. She was gorgeous; her long, black braids reached her waist, her lips were painted a bright red color, and she wore a halter top that left little to the imagination.
“Hi,” she said, grabbing your attention, shooting you a flirtatious smile.
“Hi!” You said, the alcohol making you friendlier than you usually are.
“I saw you across the bar, and I was jus’ wonderin’, would you wanna grab a drink with me? Maybe dance a lil’?” Her eyes dragged down your body and back up to your eyes.
Your eyes widened and you blushed.
“Oh, uh! T-thank you! I’m flattered, but, uh, I got my guy right here, and I kinda like him too much to date!” You sort of yell-whispered the confession to the girl.
She glanced behind you to Bucky whose eyes had also widened in shock, his mouth hanging open a little. The woman laughed and touched your shoulder comfortingly.
“‘s alright,” she assured. “Was worth a shot, though.”
She turned to Bucky then.
“Yo, congrats, man. You’re a lucky guy once you two talk that through.”
With that, she had left, and you turned around to Bucky.
“Look,” you said, more sober sounding than you’d been since the two of you arrived at the bar. “I don’t know what you think this is, or what you want it to be, but I’m all in if you are.”
Bucky leaned forward and kissed you without a second thought.
And he remembers the moment he decided he was going to marry you, if you’d have him.
The two of you were sitting on the couch in your shared apartment; after about two years of dating, you insisted you live together.
“Buck, you’re always here. All your stuff is here. I don’t think you’ve stepped foot in your apartment in a month. You’re just wasting money on rent at this point.”
You were leaned into his side, eyes glued to the tv screen. The two of you were watching The Princess Bride (it’s one of the many movies you insisted was so culturally significant that he had to see it). It was the way you would turn to him at your favorite parts, gauging his reactions to see if he loved it like you did; the way you would mouth the most iconic lines along with the characters; and the way you would sigh contentedly and cuddle further into his side at the romantic scenes that really pulled the realization from deep within him. And, perhaps, it was the way you produced the most ridiculous voice to say "Mawwiage! Mawwiage is what bwings us here today!" that truly brought the idea of marrying you to the forefront of his mind. Regardless, he knew he wanted you around for the rest of his already over-extended lifetime.
Bucky Barnes decided early on in his life as a free man that he wasn’t going to try and date, and he decided late in his life as a free man that he wasn't going to ever try and date anyone other than you. So, here he finds himself, kneeling on the ground in front of you with a ring extended towards your person, and hoping you'll say yes.
"Sweetheart, I know we've had a lot of ups and downs. We met when I wasn't truly myself, we got together when I was still figuring out who I am on my own—without Steve, without HYDRA—but no matter what, you've been there for me. You're still here for me.
"You deserve the world, Doll, and I want to give it to you. I want to be here for all your ups and downs, and I want to spend my life being to you what you've already been to me.
"You're my partner, you're my best friend, you're the love of my life. And if you'll have me, I'll be your king, if you'll be my queen. I'll be your husband, if you'll be my wife.
"Y/N Y/M/N Y/L/N, will you marry me?"
You let out a laugh through a sob, pulling your hand to your face to quickly wipe your tears away, and you nod vigorously. You drop to your knees, pulling Bucky's face into your hands, caressing his cheek gently. Smiling, you respond.
"James Bucky Barnes, of course I'll marry you."

Simon 'Ghost' Riley x fem!reader
Warning: mdni, nsfw, p in v, orale (fem receiving)
Ghost knew the Captain had a daughter, what he didn't expect was for you to be such a sweet girl, way too pretty for your own good. He watched you laugh at one of Soap's jokes, shifting in his seat, trying to ignore the confined feeling in his pants. The sound of your laugh sent a shiver down his spine. He originally didn't mean to stay, as he wasn't in the mood to engage in conversation. But when he saw you in the break room motioning for him to come in with a sweet smile on your face, he couldn't resist, especially not after you shook his hand the polite girl you are, and he couldn't stop thinking about how soft they are and how they would feel around his cock. You had even managed to convince him to try one of the cupcakes you had baked, and as much as he liked them, they were the last thing on his mind. The dress you had on made your thighs more delicious than a cupcake could ever be. The Captain, who was the whole reason you came here, had left about 30 minutes ago after Laswell had called him about some meeting and because Simon knew how long these could last, he offered him to take you home, something that Price couldn't turn down.
Simon was more than aware that looking at his captain's daughter the way he did wasn't exactly okay, but he couldn‘t stop himself. And it wasn't like you didn't look at him just a tad bit too long for it to be appropriate, to your luck, however, Gaz and Soap were way too occupied with the backed goods to notice it. You found yourself unable to concentrate on the conversation, too busy thinking about your father's Lieutenant. His face was bare, no skull mask in sight. Something inside you made you want to reach out to feel the light stubble that grazed his cheek under your fingers. You were only able to shift your focus when Soap and Gaz started arguing about the last cupcake. Simon kept his eyes on you while you convinced them to share. You were so eager to make everyone happy, he started wondering whether you'd be such a good girl trying to please him.
..........................................................
Simon had a tight grip on your hips, keeping you still while he sucked your swollen clit. Your slick spread around his mouth, as he ate you out like a man starved. Your mewls only spurred him on, making him stick two of his thick digits into your aching cunny. "So wet just for me huh" he dragged his fingers along your walls, painfully slow but still hitting the spot inside you that made you feel dizzy, sweet pleasure just an inch away, but before you were able to grab it, Ghost had pulled out his fingers. You glared at him through half lidded eyes as he licked them clean. Your anger made him chuckle. “I know you wanted to cum, but I also  know that you're a good girl, so you've got to be patient for me”
You wanted to kick or scratch him, but you had a hard time getting your brain to do something other than watching him pull his length out of his boxers, its tip red glistening with precum. He ignored your whines about him being too big and just slipped his cock inside you, trying to keep himself from cumming on the spot at the heat of your tight walls. It felt like he was filling out every inch of you, leaving you no room to breathe as he settled inside you, his tip almost kissing your cervix, before starting to move at a pace that made you dig your nails in his back. "Fuck, we shouldn‘t be doing this.“ Ghost's hips were snapping against yours, the pace he had set turned any coherent thought that you had left into thin air. It didn‘t really matter anyway you had lost the ability to properly act the second simon pressed you against the door and kissed you when you just wanted to ask whether he was ready to bring you home. He was merciless in the way he fucked you, probably out of anger at himself for giving into the temptation of taking you. The growls that left his lips were animalistic, covering the whimpers and mewls that left yours, and still he told you to be quiet.  "Don't want your Dad to hear what you're doing, huh? Seducing his lieutenant to make him stuff you" his hand snaked its way between your hot bodies to play with your swollen almost abused clit. His movements were less controlled than before, he wouldn't admit it, but he was way to deep in pleasure to form a lot of thoughts himself. His skilled hands made your eyes roll back into your head. „Didn‘t sed… y..I“ It felt like he consumed every one of your senses, his big body over you blocking your view , his faint smell of cigarette smoke and sweat in your nose, his cock burried inside you. It was getting too much the knot that had started to form in your stomach a while ago felt constricted.
"Can't even talk anymore, huh?" You clenched down at his words, reaching your breaking point as the orgasm shook through your whole body. You arched your back, somewhere in the back of your mind, you hoped no one heard the way you moaned Simon's name like you were drowning, desperate for air. Simon couldn‘t keep himself from cumming at the way you constricted around him, grunting your name as he filled you up with his hot seed.

Message In A Bottle — Bang Chan
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
pairing : idol! bang chan x fem! reader
genre : angst with fluff ending, childhood friends to lovers.
summary : you've been loving chan for as long as you can remember, but sadly, he was clueless. you bottled up all your feelings into notes, each folded into different shapes, hoping that one day you could give this bottle of emotions to him.
word count : 3,605
author's note : this is my first time writing on tumblr. also, inspired by fyp on tiktok (i honestly forgot the username). lastly, i apologize if there are any mistakes.
Tumblr media
You loved him from the very beginning.
You've been there for him since childhood, watching him grow from a nobody into someone cherished by millions.
Years passed, and your bond with Chan only grew stronger. You were his best friend, his confidante, the one who always believed in him, even when no one else did. You were the one who gently rubbed circles on his back when the sad days overwhelmed him, dropping everything just to see Chan again and bring a smile to his face.
He only let you wrap your arms around him, only you play with his hair, only you caress his cheeks and wipe away his tears. You were his safe haven, his source of comfort in the storm.
It's always like that.
The day Stray Kids debuted was the happiest day of his life. And yours too, because you knew how much it meant to him. You stood in the crowd, tears streaming down your face, as you watched him light up the stage.
As the group gained popularity and recognition, that's when the distance between the two of you started to widen. It wasn't his fault; you understood the demands of his career.
Shouldn't you be happy for his success? Shouldn't you be proud of him? He had waited for this day to come, years of training and sacrifices finally paying off.
Thankfully, he still visits your apartment sometimes, though not as often as before. Back then, you used to talk about everything under the sun with him. Now, it's just a brief hello followed by a bitter goodbye that stings your heart.
As night fell, you found yourself flipping through your old photo album. There were pictures of little Chan and you, captured in moments of pure happiness, building sandcastles, watching sunsets, and running around together, laughing without a care in the world.
You look at your phone and see a message from Chan. You hate the way he can make your heart flutter and a warm feeling spread across your cheeks.
Somehow, a twinge of jealousy crept in. There were countless stunning idols who could easily catch his eye. You scrutinized yourself in the mirror, painfully aware of your differences.
You were just you, not like them—plain, ordinary, and feeling hopelessly inadequate.
But you tried to think positively, reminding yourself to wait for your turn. Chan had always told you to trust your heart and be patient. However, why did you feel such a tightness in your chest, as if tears were threatening to spill?
Tumblr media
You sit there clutching your shirt, feeling the intense moment pierce your heart open. You don't know her, but all you can see is her slowly taking your place. It feels like you're watching your own nightmare unfold. God, she's more beautiful than you.
You try not to think of it, but each passing moment makes it harder to ignore. The way they laugh together, and the way Chan gently tucks her hair behind her ear, hurts you more than ever before. It's the same thing he used to do when you were studying hard for exams, a gesture that once brought you comfort and now only brings pain.
Once again, you try to hold back your tears that threaten to spill. You hide it quite well, but little did you know, Felix observed the way you shifted and how you looked away from the scene. He's the only one who knows about your feelings for Chan. He wants to approach you, but you slowly get up, ready to leave before anyone notices your teary eyes.
You hate seeing yourself this vulnerable. No, you've never felt this weak before.
You take your bag and pull out a bottle filled with paper folded into cute shapes. Each one contains messages you've been writing for Chan for all these years. It's your secret way of expressing yourself when words fail you, something Chan has never known about. You took out a small piece of paper and wrote one more message before you left. As you penned the words, you finally let your tears fall freely. You could only hear your painful sobs as you folded the paper into a heart shape.
'For My Channie'
You felt a hand on your shoulder, causing you to flinch slightly. Turning around, you saw the freckled boy with a big smile on his face.
"I made brownies, you know?" Felix grinned. "Thanks to your help that day, I finally didn't burn the kitchen down again."
His warm smile always melted your heart. Felix felt like a little brother to you. Whenever Chan wasn't around, he would check on you, asking if you had eaten or if you were okay. As soon as he saw the tear stains on your cheeks, he understood how much pain you were in. He had never seen you like this before.
"T-Thanks, Lix." You choked out, wiping away your tears. Felix then told you to wait as he quickly packed some of the brownies just for you.
"Here." He said gently, handing you a small package. His caring eyes met yours, offering a small glimmer of comfort in your moment of sorrow. You bowed to him gratefully and whispered a small thank you.
"Felix, could you give this bottle to Chan when he's alone?" You asked, handing him the bottle filled with paper folded into various shapes, each containing a message inside. He was confused at first, but then he nodded understandingly. Giving you a thumbs up, you quietly slipped away, hoping your message would reach Chan and convey everything your heart couldn't say aloud.
You looked at them for one last time, hoping that Chan would notice your absence. But he didn't seem to realize, continuing to talk and laugh with her. He looked so happy, so clearly in love. You swallowed the lump in your throat, feeling the ache of everything weighing heavily on you. You slowly shut your eyes, trying not to care about what was happening.
As you arrived home, you burst into your bedroom, collapsing onto your bed. The floodgates opened, and you cried uncontrollably, your sobs echoing through the empty room. The pain and loneliness consumed you, each tear a testament to the heartache you had been holding back for so long. Your chest heaved with every breath, the weight of your unspoken feelings pressing down on you. It felt like your heart was breaking all over again, and the tears seemed endless, soaking your pillow as you cried yourself into exhaustion.
"He doesn't care. He never did. Why would you fall for him, Y/n?" You whispered to yourself through your tears. "You should know better... He's an idol now."
You continued to cry as you gathered all the things that reminded you of him and put them into a box. You weren't going to throw them away; you just needed to put them out of sight so you could try to move on.
"Why did I let myself fall for you? And even make you my home... A home I can never get into... Despite knowing every corner of it's well..." You murmured softly, your voice cracking with emotion as you reflected on the depth of your feelings.
Tumblr media
As the day went on, you focused on your job as a doctor, dedicating yourself wholeheartedly to helping others, much like Felix. Despite your busy shift, thoughts of Chan lingered in your mind. During breaks, you checked your messages, hoping for a notification from him, but there was nothing.
Why couldn't you just forget about him?
When you finally returned home, a message from him awaited you. He asked about your day and more, and you found yourself staring at the screen, unsure of how to react. Frozen in place, you felt a wave of mixed emotions wash over you, leaving you at a loss for what to do next.
Isn't this what you wanted? Why do you feel so afraid now, when it's finally happening? The conflicting emotions swirl within you, uncertainty clouding your heart despite longing for this moment.
Tumblr media
A month without your calls, messages, and silly pick-up lines. Chan hated to admit that he missed your presence. He tried to reach out, asking how you were, if you had eaten, or if he could come to your apartment. However, every time he asked, you always had plenty of excuses.
It's like you're avoiding him.
"Hyung, after Y/n left the party that night, she gave me this. She said it's for you. I don't know, hyung, but when she left... I could tell she was holding back her tears." Felix handed Chan the bottle, and Chan took it, his brow furrowing in confusion. He turned it over in his hands, trying to understand its significance.
You're sad? Why didn't you tell him? What could have possibly made you this upset?
The bottle was from the time you were both still in high school. You both went to a park on a sunny afternoon, exploring a quaint antique truck that had caught your eye. Among them was a small, intricately designed bottle that had caught Y/n's attention. Chan had secretly bought it for you, knowing how much you admired it.
Now, clutching the same bottle in his hands, Chan wondered why Y/n had entrusted it to Felix. His mind raced with questions.
Felix observed Chan closely, hoping that he would finally realize your true feelings. Chan, however, seemed completely clueless.
Tumblr media
Chan worked tirelessly until night fell, consumed with stress over the new song. His mind raced with thoughts, unable to focus. As he trailed off, lost in his thoughts, he noticed a little note peeking out from between the folded papers inside the bottle. He noticed that the bottle wasn't just filled with paper shapes.
He picked up one that was shaped like a star and carefully unfolded it.
"Today is Chan's first audition. I hope Chan gets it. He's been working hard for it."
A smile slowly spread across Chan's face as he read the note. His eyes softened with warmth, and a hint of nostalgia flickered in them. He took another paper shape, and carefully unfolded it.
"They finally get a first win! I'm so proud of them!"
He stifled a laugh as he remembered how the kids had cried when they were announced as the winners.
"Channie wants to buy a present for his parents. I'm going to save some money to help him :)"
The note revealed your thoughtful plan to assist Chan with buying a gift for his parents. He soon recalled his savings, surprised to realize that you had helped him accumulate them. That's when he took out all the notes and read through each one carefully. He noticed how the words became more emotional.
"Someday, I want to know not only the colors of you eyes but also the colors of your dreams."
"I told my family and friends to support Chan and all the StrayKids members. They need more recognition!"
"Happiness is when I am excited to meet you and you're excited to meet me too."
"It's your first time on stage, I can't believe how far you've come."
"Your eyes are the warmest place in the world even when I'm looking at them under the coldest rain."
"I hope my Channie is surrounded by people who care and love him. He deserves so much love."
"Don't you ever forget, your authenticity, the real you is more beautiful than all the well-received, striking, scenic facades in this world combined."
"You look tired these days. I hope you get much rest. Don't be such a workaholic, dumbass!"
"How's Korea? You look happier there. Glad to see you with that big smile. Well, I'm still studying here :D"
"When I'm by your side, it's like all of my fears, worries and anxieties melt away thanks to your warm presence."
"No one knows how to ignite the fire in my heart the way you do."
"Channie, I finally became a doctor. I kept my promise, and you are the first person I told :]"
"I'm so in love with you, Chan. In an instant, I knew what I felt. In a brief moment, I knew exactly that you were the one."
Chan read every single one of your notes, tears streaming down his face as he realized how clueless he had been all these years about your feelings. His smile faded as he remembered everything you had done for him—the way you dropped everything just to be there for him, always making time to listen to his thoughts and talk about seemingly unimportant things.
After all this time, you always there for him. His mind slowly repeating all the memories he have with you.
He thought of her long hair, cascading down her back like a silken waterfall. He could almost feel its softness, the way it slipped through his fingers. He remembered her soft smile, the one that could light up even his darkest days, a smile so pure and genuine that it made his heart swell with love.
Her beautiful features danced in his mind's eye, the curve of her lips, the sparkle in her eyes, the way she looked at him as if he were her whole world. He missed the sound of her laughter, the warmth of her embrace, the way she would nuzzle into his chest and sigh contentedly.
How could he have been so clueless?
There was one last paper shaped like a heart. As Chan examined it, he realized that the last paper was a bit messy. He softly opened it, his hands trembling slightly.
"And you know what? The reason why I kept holding on was, I always thought that perhaps, you were waiting for me, too..."
That was the last message. His tears, already streaming down, turned into uncontrollable sobs. How could he have been so oblivious? He cried out loud, unable to believe how foolish he had been. Chan clutched the heart-shaped paper to his chest, memories flooding his mind. The weight of his realization bore down on him, crushing his heart with the knowledge of what could have been.
Now, he couldn't think of anyone else he wanted to spend his life with. It has always been you.
A memory flashed in his mind of how deeply you cared for him, the only one who truly understood him, and the one who had always been there for him through thick and thin.
Felix stood in the doorway, watching Chan break down, his own heart aching for both of you. He had always known about your feelings, had seen the way you looked at Chan, the way you lit up whenever he was around. Now, seeing Chan's reaction, he hoped his friend would finally understand the depth of your love.
He quietly stepped in, placing a comforting hand on Chan's shoulder as he looked up at the younger boy.
"It's been a month, hyung. Do you know that she watched you, in pain, getting close to that girl?" He murmured softly. He described how tears welled up in your eyes as you witnessed Chan caress the girl's hair. Chan's expression crumbled as he absorbed Felix's words, the weight of your unspoken pain settling heavily on his heart. He hadn't realized how much his actions had hurt you until now, and the regret gnawed at him.
"Yah! Are you trying to age yourself prematurely? Stop working so hard, it's showing!"
He stood up abruptly, determination replacing the sorrow on his face. He had to find you, to tell you that he finally understood, that he felt the same way. He couldn't let you slip away, not after everything. Chan grabbed his coat and headed to the door, leaving Felix standing silently. He couldn't shake the image of your tear-filled eyes and the pain he had caused you.
As he was on his way, traffic came to a standstill, and he cursed under his breath. Why was the world moving so slowly for him now? Was this some kind of punishment?
"I've been exhausted lately, pulling night shifts. The chilly nights only seem to make it worse."
As he drove to the hospital, memories of you filled his mind. He recalled the times you had mentioned how hard you worked, often taking night shifts at the hospital. He could feel the cold breeze seeping through, making him shiver. He cursed himself for telling you that you would survive and everything was fine.
He swore that even he might catch a cold from the frigid breeze.
With each breath turning to mist in the cold air, Chan hurried into the hospital. He sprinted through the corridors, regret pushing him forward, and discovered you in the break room, exhausted after a long shift.
"It would mean a lot if you knew that while you're caught up in your own world, you know I'm working just as hard."
It all became clear to him. All those times you talked about your work—the stress you faced, the small victories you cherished, and how you always tried to keep things positive despite your tiredness.
He watched from outside the door, and for the first time in his life, he was captivated by your beauty. Your hair, casually pulled into a ponytail, draped over your shoulders in flowing waves, emphasizing your effortless allure. The calming rhythm of your breath and the tranquil elegance of your sleeping pose created a breathtaking vision that left him awestruck.
"Apologies for not messaging you. Whenever I get exhausted, I crash in the break room."
The moment you opened your eyes, Chan's concerned face came into view, his expression a silent plea for forgiveness.
"Chris? W-What are you doing here?" You asked, trying to mask the hurt and confusion in your voice.
Chris—the government nickname you never use. Just hearing it made his heart ache, a painful reminder of the distance and misunderstandings between you.
Is this what you've been feeling all along?
He was lost in his own thoughts for several minutes before he managed to find an answer. He couldn't tear his eyes away from you. He felt an overwhelming urge to hold you close, to kiss you, but the words caught in his throat.
"I'm an idiot, Y/n. I only focused on my own life and goals while y-you were there watching and supporting me. I didn't see what was right in front of me all along. I didn't see how important you were until now. I'm sorry it t-took me this amount of time to truly understand your feelings..." Chan explained, his voice trembling.
"The truth, Y/n, is that I love you. It took me a long time to unravel the depths of my own heart. You're the missing piece that completes and brings together my scattered, disordered, and messy life... Baby, I'm gonna feel bad for myself if I never had a chance of knowing you in this, o-or any other lifetime. At the end of a challenging day, I just want to come home to your peaceful presence, rest my head on your stomach, and share all the day's burdens with you." He spoke, his voice breaking with emotion.
Tears filled your eyes as you looked at him, the sincerity and desperation in his voice breaking down the walls you had built around your heart.
"And, Y/n. Yes, I've been w-waiting for you too, love." Chan said, his voice trembling, as tears cascaded down his cheeks. He stepped forward, pulling you into his arms.
You held him close as he cried on your shoulder, his sobs shaking his entire body. You whispered comforting words, gently rubbing his back, trying to soothe his anguish. His tears soaked through your shirt, but you didn't mind.
"Shh, it's okay, Chan. I'm here." You murmured softly. His grip on you tightened, as if he feared you might disappear if he let go.
"I'm so sorry, b-baby. I should have seen how much you were hurting. I love you so much, love. Please, forgive me..." He choked out between sobs, his voice filled with regret and pain. You shushed him gently, your fingers running through his hair.
"I love you too, Channie. I will always love you. A thousand year from now, I will still love you like I did a thousand years before." You comforted him, and he sought your warmth, clinging to you tightly.
Chan looked closely into your eyes, cupping your cheek and gently drawing your lips to his. He slowly pressed his lips to yours, in a kiss that spoke of deep passion, tender affection, and a softness that made your heart flutter. Time seemed to stand still, every second stretching into an eternity as you both lost yourselves in the moment.
You both gently pulled away as your eyes meeting in a moment of shared understanding. A smile blossomed on your lips, reflecting the warmth.
"The search is over. Amongst the loneliness of the universe, I've finally found you."

Tumblr media
The Diasomnia crew left before Yuu even finished their breakfast on Wednesday. Crewel was not happy seeing Malleus clinging to them when he came to deliver their dinner last night, but the potions teacher didn't say anything past a scoff and an eye roll. Like the past few days the bicolored man had scolded them for their life choices, then shoved a pattern book at them and asked for their preferences.
Morning came, an Octavinelle student showed up with his arms shaking full of food for Yuu and the four Diasomnia students. Breakfast was a calm affair, only for Malleus to stand once he finished his food. He pressed a kiss to Yuu's forehead and gave a small blessing, wishing them a pleasant rest of their day before moving to leave the room.
Lilia called out to him, raising an eyebrow, “Where are you off to? We still have a good hour before we need to go back to Diasomnia to prepare for classes. I'd think you'd want to continue your duty as the royal heating pad…” he chuckled lightly, ignoring Sebek's angered snort.
“I'm aware and I had planned on it. But, I was going to make a stop in Octavinelle to speak with Azul while there was still time.”
Yuu fully turned around in their seat, raising an eyebrow at the smiling fae, “About what?”
Malleus only tilted his head in a conscious effort to appear cuter, “You are aware that I adore you, correct Yuu?”
“Malleus, that's my fucking- Don't- don't fucking bully Azul into agreeing with you.”
“I would never. I simply wish to speak to him civilly until we come to an agreement on things…”
Lilia looks up from his meal, already seeing what the younger fae was planning, “Malleus…”
“In fact, I'll bring Jamil with me. He should be a part of this conversation too.”
“Malleus-”
The horned fae had then disappeared in a flurry of green light. Lilia was quick to order Sebek and Silver to search the two dorms that Malleus was headed for while he started his search in Diasomnia; Malleus could be in either dorm. Each of them giving Yuu a rushed farewell before running out of Ramshackle, hopeful they'd find Malleus before he started his ‘conversation’ with the two sophomores.
Even Grim had left a few hours later, playfully stating one of them had to pick up the slack since Yuu wasn't allowed to attend class. Now that they were alone again, Yuu could physically feel their mood dropping. There were options, as there always were. Several friends that they could text throughout the day to keep their mind off of things. Cater, of course, but he was a 3rd year and Yuu could never really tell how serious he was about his schoolwork. Ace and Deuce were a choice, but Crewel might actually give them concussions if he caught them texting during homeroom. (They were filed under maybe, they can suffer in Ramshackle together if the Adeuce duo got concussed). They briefly thought of adding Lilia to that list then decided against it, along with Azul, Jamil, Silver and Sebek; they'd no doubt have their hands full of talking Malleus down.
Idia was most likely in his room dual-screening his classes and whatever RPG-mmo or anime he had started recently. Maybe he could answer them on why Ortho had been radio silent since they saw him on Saturday…
But, in the end, laziness won and Yuu simply returned to the nest Malleus had so lovingly crafted for them. It was warm and cozy, but definitely too big for just themselves; left too much space for their thoughts, mental conversations that told them of the multiple things they needed to do yet physically seemed too daunting at the moment. There were dishes to do that were never finished from Saturday, they definitely needed a shower, or at least to wash their face properly. Sighing, they just curled up in their too-big nest and closed their eyes. A nap fixes everything after all.

Three sharp knocks wake them up. Blinking in mild confusion before another three sharp knocks echo in the downstairs rooms. Yuu grabs their phone from outside the nest and looks at the time, only a few minutes past noon. Crewel must be bringing them lunch. But then they remembered Crewel had a horrible habit of thinking he was too good to knock on doors, simply opening and slamming them so hard he had no doubt gotten a door knob stuck in drywall before.
So who the hell-
The door opens, the sound of heels clicking against the hardwood floors flanked by more muted footsteps after the door was shut again. Yuu looked up from their phone to see Vil walk into the entryway of the lounge, hands filled with a cloth-wrapped package and a shiny hydro flask complete with a teal straw. From the side of the archway, Yuu could see Epel and Rook poking their heads in with expressions of wariness and glee respectfully.
“Oh, so you are awake. I knocked and you deliberately ignored me.” The actor rolled his eyes, walking further into the room and placing the package and hydro flask at the edge of the nest as faux offerings, “I took the liberty to make you lunch to reflect your body's needs. I expect you to eat it all.”
Yuu looked at the packaged food, no doubt filled with Vil's horrible idea of a ‘balanced’ meal; AKA, unseasoned. They blink, looking up to the junior, “I just woke up.”
Vil's expression grows more exasperated, the corner of his lip curling over his almost unnoticeable fangs in a mild sneer, “It's past noon…”
“Wow, Vil. You're so good at telling time. That's an amazing skill you got there…” Yuu's tone was flat, eyes slowly blinking as they kept focus on Vil's displeased face, “Did you train to read clocks or like-”
“Alright, that's enough out of you-”
“Mon vieille amor! It's been so long since I've seen your visage.” Rook rushed in, kneeling in front of Yuu's prone form before they could actually gode Vil into a scuffle, “I've been in a state of heartbreak since Crewel placed the visitor ban on your home. Though my woes eased and soul sung when I noticed you were still accepting guests regardless! Is company an aid or a sacrifice during your plight?”
Yuu looks to Rook, making sure the Florian could see them blinking one eye at a time; a common way Yuu could silently tell Rook to ‘Shut up’, “...Could be better…could be better…”
Vil's brows creased, his annoyed expression moving to confusion, “That…is not answering the question…”
“What are you, a fucking lawyer?” Yuu rubs their eyes, “I just woke up, give me a minute.”
“Honestly-”
“Isit true yur bleeding out yur butt?” Epel called out from the entryway, ducking back when Vil quickly snapped to glare over his shoulder at the first-year.
“Epel!”
“A-ah wanna know!”
Yuu finally propped themselves up, leaning weight on their elbows as they looked at Epel in confusion, “Why the fuck would I be bleeding out my ass!?”
“That's what Deuce said!”
“Why is Deuce saying I'm bleeding out my ass!?”
Epel shrugs, his face just as bewildered as Yuu's, “Ah don' know!? He said Riddle said sum shit about it-”
“Epel.”
The first-year shut his mouth, looking away from Vil's no doubt glacial glare and tapping his pointer fingers together before he clears his throat. Epel spoke carefully, his accent being lost in his conscious effort to not swear, “Um…Deuce read some of Riddle's notes? I don't think he read them right, but then again I don't really…know where you're bleeding from…”
Yuu scoffs, “It's not my ass, I'll tell you that much…”
Rook perks up, eyes wide as his hands cover his mouth in a show of surprise, “Mon Dieu! I had hoped I misheard Monsieur Crewel. Are you truly bleeding from such an area, mon vieille amor…?”
“Ye…”
Vil gave them a concerned glance, opening his mouth only to whip around to glare at Epel's softly muttered ‘gross’. Once he was properly scolded into silence, Vil looked back to Yuu, “Are you feeling alright? I heard from Crewel that he wasn't going to give you any more pain potions. Which is valid, so many potions in such a short amount of time isn't healthy for the body. But that does leave you without proper pain relief…”
“Lowkey, it’s so fucking weird you and Crewel hang out as like puh-seudo equals. Like, just admit you're both part of a fucked up clone project to destroy teenage boys through fashion and aggressively sharp eyeliner.”
Vil's look of concern quickly fell, glaring down his nose at the equally stone-faced first-year,  “Oh, are we fighting? Is that what you decided is going to happen? I come to you civilly, with food and concern, and you decide we're going to have a petty argument as my thanks. Understandable. You are a child.”
“How's it feel to fight a child and lose? Because you are, you're losing.”
“It feels like listening to you prattle on is clogging my pores…”
“You know what pores are?” Yuu gasps, mockingly covering their mouth as they whisper to Rook, “Embarrassing.”
“What does that MEAN-”
Epel and Rook share a look, letting the two continue with their back-and-forth ‘bickering’. To the outside view, the two seemed to actually be arguing. But Epel knew Yuu and Rook knew Vil. While Yuu was a bully at their core, the way they poked at Vil was much softer than the people they actually verbally bit at. And Rook knew his queen was an icon of polite rebuffs, though that wasn't always his thoughts. Vil felt the need to chew people out every now and again as any stressed individual would. Yuu simply was a worthy opponent of wordplay.
The two film research members did enjoy each other's company though, they wouldn't keep spending time with each other if they didn't. If they found joy in verbally slapping at each other and critiquing bad movies until they were a fine paste, who were they to judge them…?
Truly, ‘Sibling Core’ as Cater once joked (only to be promptly cursed by Vil to trip every third step until he took back his statement).
“You're like an egg…that was cracked in the carton and just got a sticky film all over the other eggs so you don’t wanna touch them.”
Vil tilted his head back to let out a single laugh before glaring back down at Yuu, “Oh, I'm a residue now? You're one to talk, you greasy onion. You look a mess, your hair is even more a bird's nest than normal, and I can see the state of your skin from here. You clearly haven't been using the skincare routine I gifted you…”
Yuu opened and then closed their mouth, a repeated action that made Vil raise a single eyebrow. The star already had another comeback locked and loaded, but he could be patient for Yuu to think up a response. He had to be fair after all…
But the comeback never came. Instead, Yuu started to blink rapidly, a look of frustration blooming on their face before they simply bowed their head and let out a single sniffle. Then one sniffle became a choked back sob, as they fully curled into themselves to hide from view.
Rook straightened himself beside the nest, already reaching out to comfort Yuu, “Oh, mon-” only to be shoved out of the way as Vil dropped to his knees to grab at Yuu's shoulders.
“Are you crying!? No, I'm being completely serious, are you actually crying?” When the response was another wet-sounding sniffle and whimper, he climbed into the nest, a look of panicked determination slowly overtaking his face, “Don't-don't cry. Come on, let me- is it the cramps? Here, this yoga pose should help ease the pain. Let me get you into it.”
Vil worked quickly but gently, managing to put Yuu into a sitting position with their knees bent and the soles of their feet pressed together. He crawled deeper into the nest, placing himself behind them and wrapped his arms around their middle when the crying first-year tried to fold back in on themselves.
“No! You're going to hurt yourself, you are not that flexible. Is this helping? I have other poses that should help. Please, stop crying. We can watch one of your horrifically scarring children's movies if you stop.”
Epel had retreated back to the entryway, gripping onto the wood and looking at Yuu in confused terror, “What's happening!? What did you do!?”
Vil glared at Epel, shaking his head, “Don't you blame this on me- Yuu, don't tell Crewel I made you cry.”
Yuu sniffled, trying to lay limply in Vil's hold but the 3rd year kept them upright, “I'm sorry, I don't wanna cry anymore…”
Rook had pulled himself from the floor, gently cupping Yuu's cheek as he gazed at them in worry, “Mon petite! What has caused such sorrow? Truly mon roi’s words weren't so harsh…?”
“I just…I feel bad. I haven't really felt good and it makes it hard to do things. I gotta list of chores I haven't done because I've been on the edge of hysteria for the past few days. I haven't showered since Saturday because I just wanna sleep and standing is annoying. Vil, I was gonna call you Monday, I promise. but then I went to school and everything was annoying and then I threw up and I forgot-”
Yuu's ramble slowly turned into more tearful crying. Vil was only mildly elated, as his words seemed to simply be a trigger instead of the main cause. The issue now was that they didn't seem to be stopping anytime soon. And the last thing Vil wanted was for the first year to manage to cry themselves actually sick during his visit. Crewel would never let him hear the end of it…
Vil reached out of the nest, grabbing the thermos and trying to place the straw into Yuu's wailing mouth, “Here, have some smoothie. Get a healthy liquid in your body-”
“I don't want your fucking green juice, Vil!”
Everyone subtly leaned away from Yuu, eyes wide at the raw anger they suddenly displayed. Vil still pressed the cool flask to the first-year's face. Both to pointedly demand they drink the smoothie and to help cool the flushing of Yuu's cheeks.
“It's not my blend. I used nothing but fruit in this! Strawberries, peaches, and mangos!” And a handful of spinach because lord forbid this child eat a vegetable; but he wasn't going to tell them that, “It's a treat, since you've been so ill…”
Yuu cast a disbelieving look to Vil, face pinched together before they finally took a sip from the flask's straw. At the promised taste of nothing but fruit, they took another gulp. Taking the flask from Vil they weakly say, “It's good…thank you…”
Just as the Pomefiore trio thought they were in the clear, Yuu took in a shuddering breath that quickly turned back to a tearful muttering, “Sorry. I'm serious, I'm trying to stop crying.”
Epel called out from the archway, finally stepping fully into the room now that Vil was half grappling with Yuu, “What ya even cryin’ about? Ah know Vil's smoothies suck but they aint always that bad…”
Vil muttered briefly for Epel to stop blaming him for Yuu's crying fits. Yuu had taken another pause to gulp at the chilly fruit smoothie, taking the offered wrap Rook had handed them from the now-opened lunchbox.
“Dude, I've been a fucking train wreck for the past half week. This shit is normally over by now and I'm still dropping clots.”
Rook and Vil share a mildly horrified look at the mention of clots. Why are clots involved in this? Are clots supposed to be involved?
“I'm reaching new mental and emotional ATLs at, like, random intervals, I've got a sink full of dishes that I don't wanna do and I don't wanna ask anyone to do. I gotta shower, that's just a fucking fact; I don't wanna shower because while I'll feel great afterwards, that's a whole mental race just to get into the shower for some reason. And I'm also upset because I've gotta do so much laundry once this shit is over because I've been bleeding all over the nice things you guys have given me for the past four days-”
“Okay, okay.” Vil quickly shushed Yuu, guiding the chicken wrap from the lunch into their mouth in an effort to stop their hysterical spiral. Once Yuu was chewing the food, he snapped his fingers and called his other dorm members to attention, “Epel, go to Crewel and get the surprise. Whatever he has ready, simply package it and bring it back here. Rook, go to Pomefiore and bring me my spa kit.”
Epel nodded, turning around and rushing out of the room to race back to the school with nothing said other than ‘I'm on it’. Rook smiles, kneeling on one knee and bowing with a hand over his heart.
“Which kit would you prefer, mon roi?”
“The big one.” Vil looked to the freshman in his arms, sighing softly before turning back to Rook, “And stop by Sam's to get them another treat…” He smiles at Yuu, tilting his head in a questioning manner, “Would you like a treat, dear little onion?”
“...” Yuu sniffled, “I want a chocolate bar…”
Vil nodded, petting Yuu's head, “Get them a dark chocolate bar-”
“I want a milk chocolate bar…”
“Dark chocolate is healthier, onion…”
Yuu sniffles, voice breaking at random intervals as they start to cry again, “I want a milk chocolate bar-”
“Fine. Oh my seven. Rook, get them a milk chocolate candy bar and my large spa kit from my room.”
“Oui!” With a chuckle and tip of his hat, Rook turned to exit the room, “Please no fighting while alone, you both fight dirty when no one is looking. Je reviens!” He waves as he disappears around the corner.
With Rook gone, Vil sighed. Mildly resigning himself to the act of cuddling his pseudo-sister until the others return. Gently carding his hand through their hair, he couldn't fight the grimace his face did at feeling its texture.
“Lord, your hair is greasy…”
Yuu looks at him, face almost pathetic with tears in their eyes, “Vil-”
“I'm going to fix it! It's fine! Shhhhh, eat your wrap. It was strangely hard to make food for you…”
Yuu takes another bite of the wrap, speaking around their full mouth, “I can see why. It actually tastes good, that must of been hard for you to do.”
Vil scoffs, petting Yuu's head as he glared off to the side and mumbled under his breath, “You are so lucky you're in pain…”
Tumblr media
Epel was mildly surprised he managed to beat Rook back to Ramshackle. With an oblong box tucked under his arm he entered the dorm, stopping briefly in the entry hall as he heard music. Closing the door behind him, he walked further in; the sound of the upbeat music getting louder and accompanied by soft groans.
“Hello?” Epel peaked into the lounge, his confused face fading seeing Vil lead a very unwilling looking Yuu in exercise.
Vil's voice cut through the music, jacket off as he gracefully did knee lifts to the beat of the music, “ -One and two, and one and two, and- knees up, onion! No wonder you feel awful, you've been doing nothing but laze around for days straight.”
Yuu groans, but picks their knees up higher in the standing knee lifts Vil had bullied them into doing, “Fuck you! I've been in pain for the past few days! I'm allowed to be lazy!”
The third-year rolls his eyes, his only show of solidarity being he was exercising alongside Yuu, “Please. You've become so lazy in a matter of days that your own body is deteriorating; You could normally do this easily; I'm not letting you whine and pout your way out keeping yourself healthy.”
Yuu glared over to Vil, shaking their head slowly yet staying in pace with his knee lifts, “I swear to the Seven, I'm gonna find your fucking Eros Era white suede jacket you hide from me and I’m gonna fucking bleed all over it.”
Vil glared back with a matching intensity, “You stay away from my white clothing, you little-”
“Ah'm back!” Epel quickly yelled out, holding the box into the air, “Ah got the goods!”
“Oh perfect timing, the infant was getting on my nerves…” Vil was quick to stop the music, handing a panting Yuu the hydro flask before walking over to Epel. He clicked his tongue, seeing Crewel had taken the time to wrap the box before giving it to Epel, “How many did he finish?”
“Hm…” Epel looked down at the box; matte black wrapping paper and a bright teal ribbon tied into a bow. Thinking back he tried to remember just how many colorful pieces of cloth he saw Crewel throw into the box, “Ah think…around nine? Maybe ten? There were a lot of patterns…”
“Good enough…” Vil sighed, but took the box from Epel's hands, calling out to Yuu chugging from the hydro flask, “Yuu! Come here, we have a gift for you in this trying time.”
“If you give me more health shit, I will actually start swinging…”
“Just open the box.”
Yuu rolls their eyes at Vil's annoyed pout, snatching the box away from him and tearing the paper away. Once the box was bare, they opened it and looked inside in confusion, “What are these? Fabric samples?”
They reach into the box, pulling out one of the ‘samples’ only to see it had already been cut and stitched into the shape of boyshort panties. They almost put the underwear back into the box, a mix of annoyance and frustration at seeing the cute patterns. What use was underwear to them right now? They would just ruin it by bleeding through it…
Then they notice the black fabric seeming to take up the entire inner lining of the panties. Yuu raised an eyebrow, rubbing their thumb against the foreign feeling material, “What…is this?”
Vil smiled, watching as Yuu seemed to slowly realize what they were holding, “These took quite some doing; Crewel has been working on these articles since Saturday, I believe. He had to consult with Ms. Oster on what materials would respond best to the blood absorption potion, since gauze would certainly be unpleasant against such an area…”
Yuu's eyes seemed to widen, glittering as they looked through the box at the adorable patterns, “He made me period panties!? Holy shit, I love this!” They squealed, moving to rush off to put their new underwear on, “I'm gonna wear them right now!”
Before Yuu could rush past Epel, Vil gripped the back of their shirt and yanked them back, “Oh no, you're not. You're going to get into the shower and scrub up. Then we're going to wait until Rook is back with my spa kit and then you're going in the tub.”
“Does the mold in the air give you hyper bitch powers? Is that why you act like a total mom anytime you're in here?”
Epel mumbled under his breath, looking at the corners of the room in concern, “Wait, there's still mold…?”
Vil scoffed, snatching the box and underwear from Yuu's hands pointing to the stairs, “Just get in the shower before you start growing mold.”
Yuu mumbles in a high pitched tone, mocking Vil as they walked up the stairs.
Tumblr media
Rook had luckily appeared only a few minutes after Yuu had exited the shower. Though firmly scrubbed down and ready for a long soak, Vil had spent the past five minutes critiquing Yuu's unwashed hair. The annoyed first-year stating Vil was the one who said he was going to ‘fix it’.
What Yuu wasn't expecting was the size of Vil's ‘big’ spa kit. They had assumed it would at best be a briefcase filled with a few high quality bottles of bubble bath and skin care. Instead Rook walked back into the lounge wheeling behind him what Yuu could only think was the biggest rolling suitcase they had ever seen in their life. It was dark indigo, gold trimmed and hard shelled; a small lock keeping it closed.
Rook sighed, pulling the suitcase to stand in front of him, “Mon roi, apologizes. I would have been back sooner but you had changed the passcode to access your more extensive kits…” He looks to Yuu, pulling a large candy bar from his breast pocket, “And your treat, mon petite!”
Yuu smiled, taking the candy from Rook and pocketing it in their fuzzy robe, “Oh, sick, thank you, Rook. Also, what the fuck is that?” They pointed to the hard plastic carrier, looking questioningly as Vil walked forward. They raise an eyebrow, watching Vil pull a key from a chain around his neck and unlock the suitcase, “Oh, damn; is this it? Is that the launch codes?”
“Shush. Now pick a fragrance; some of these oils do NOT mix nicely together…”
“Uh…floral?” Yuu watches as Vil rolls his eyes, and opens the suitcase.
The case had bottles upon bottles of various liquids strapped to the lid. In the bottom half, Vil folded out multi-shelved displays holding more secured glass and gold trimmed vials. The bottom of the suitcase holding a sealed container of white powder.
Both Epel and Yuu blinked in wonder as Vil seemed to build out an entire pantry’s worth of shelves. Rook stood behind them smiling. The other 3rd-year adored watching Vil work, the very fact this was only one of his kits never failed to amaze him.
“Honestly, the most basic…It's fine I can work with that…” Vil looks through the multiple shelves, grabbing vials from labeled sections. He snaps his fingers, conjuring an ornate bottle and filling it half way with the powder. Grabbing vials, he delicately pours small amounts into the bottle, “Jasmine…Vanilla…and…” he smiles, grabbing one more vial, “And Lavender!” Vil pours the final oil into the bottle, grabbing a few other vials and adding them in before capping the bottle.
With a flick of his wrist, magic courses through the glass and mixes the contents perfectly. Vil smiles as he presents the ombred soap to Yuu, “There we are. One floral scented bubble bath to promote muscle relaxation, moisturize, and just a bit of skin protection.”
Yuu oo’s and aa’s, laughing at Vil's glare seeing they were clearly taunting him.
“Just go get in the tub. You've eaten, exercised, and showered off the days of grime. Now you can simply relax and let the warm water fully heal you.”
Yuu was already half up the stairs, smiling at the swirling colored soap in hand, “Don't gotta tell me twice…”

Ramshackle was a big building. It was hard to see at times with how massive the other ‘official’ dorms were, but Ramshackle was an insanely big home for two people alone. A fact that was discovered during the VDC.
There were many a locked room in Ramshackle; a fact Crowley seemed to find no issue with and only produced random keys to open the doors for them when he wanted to.
But, luckily for Yuu, during the VDC Rook had ‘revealed’ his love of kicking down doors. So of course Yuu let him kick to his heart's desires. And surprisingly, one room had been a massive bathroom; a small pool-sized indoor onsen that sat in a raised stone platform, the area seemingly themed after a jungle grotto. Kalim had concluded it was potentially a group bath, noting that behind the brittle vines were changing rooms and there was a clogged drain in the center of the room. Vil had been elated to see it, and after a thorough cleaning the group had taken to after practice soaks in the warm waters.
But now, it was simply Yuu's favorite bathtub.
They sighed contently, the bottle of bubble bath already half gone. Flora scented color changing bubbles blanketing them. A small towel over their face, they had no plans to leave the tub for the next four days if the water stayed toasty.
They sighed, hearing a knock on the door, “Come in, I guess…”
Vil opened the door lightly asking if they were covered before entering. When Yuu consented he stepped into the room, his arms filled with a basket holding a number of bottles and more towels.
“Honestly, you would waste the water to fill this tub up, just for yourself.”
Removing the towel on their face, Yuu flipped Vil off but didn't move as the third-year knelt beside them, “Leave me alone. It's my tub anyway. I'll waste the water if I want.” They sunk lower into the tub, ignoring Vil gently tugging on their hair to bring them to the edge.
“Come here, I'm washing your hair.”
“I already washed it.”
Vil tugged harder, fully jerking Yuu's head around as he glared. Their hair was an offensive texture, mildly wet, yet still clearly greasy, “You did not. Now stop being a brat and rest your head against the edge.”
Yuu groaned loudly, letting Vil place one of the towels at their neck before tilting their head back. Vil poured water over their hair, thoroughly soaking it before applying the first of many the products he had brought up.
Vil sighed, working the shampoo into Yuu's hair and scalp, muttering under his breath, “I swear, I have no idea what this aliment is but you've managed to deteriorate in a matter of days. And you went to classes in this state? Your motives don't add up if you were trying to keep this all a secret.”
“Are you here to just nag me and have the option to drown me if I talk back?” Yuu had deadpanned, blinking lazily at the ceiling. They tilted their head back further to look at Vil when he sighed heavily.
“I was very…concerned. Well connected you are, you seem to forget you are a teenage girl who's been displaced in a completely new world with no actual support system past your schoolmates. There was no telling what had happened to you when I didn't hear back…” Vil poured more water into Yuu's hair, rinsing out the suds and applying a second lather. “I take my care for you very seriously.”
Yuu huffed, rolling their eyes but keeping still as Vil cleaned their hair, “Yeah, is that why you made me exercise?”
“Yes.” Vil scoffed, rinsing Yuu's hair again and looking over his assortment before picking up a new bottle, “Annoying as you may be, you are one of the freshmen I've chosen to take under my wing. And as such I will help you reach your full potential.”
“By force?”
“If it comes to it; we both know in an actual fight I would win…” Vil hummed working the product through Yuu's hair, “I know whatever is happening is painful for you and that is tragic on its own. But lazing around was doing you no good in the long run. If anything it was making things worse since you barely had the energy to move.”
Yuu rolls their eyes, “Well, yeah…this shit hurts. I don't wanna move or do anything…”
“But once you did, you felt more energized, didn’t you?” At Yuu's silence he smirked in triumph, “Call me mean all you like, but I expect you to treat yourself properly at all times. That means eating healthy, exercising, and pampering yourself as needed. Since you are in pain and quarantined, I will pamper you myself today.”
“...” Yuu tilts their head back again, smiling at Vil who smiles back, “Thanks…” Yuu moves to fully relax in the tub, color shifting bubbles acting as a faux blanket while Vil massages the product into their hair.
Only a few moments passed before Yuu's eyes blinked open. The products smelling familiar yet still foreign, “Wait, what stuff are you using?”
Vil didn't answer, contently working more product into Yuu's hair.
Managing a glance to the basket, their eyes caught a familiar bottle that made them groan and attempt to escape Vil's grasp, “GOD DAMN IT, VIL!”
“I will drown you, stop fighting me-DON'T YOU SPLASH ME!”
Tumblr media
Yuu scowled, glaring at an all too pleased Vil as he sat in the nest beside them applying a green tinted face mask to his cheeks. Their once straight hair had been restored into its natural state of fluffy 4A curls, “You just can’t let shit fucking be.”
“The very fact you willingly heat damage your hair to keep it straight is a crime I should kill you for.” Vil gently cupped a handful of curls in his hand, smiling as he bounced them lightly, “Your natural hair is gorgeous, you should wear it like this more option.”
“I should shave your head.”
“I should-”
Epel spoke from his spot beside Yuu, hair pinned back as he wore his own face mask, “Can y’all not fight when Ah'm like two inches away from ya?”
Vil huffed, rolling his eyes but releasing Yuu's hair, “We're not fighting.”
“Y’all are two cherry pits away from actually swinging on each other…”
Yuu snorted, whispering loudly to Vil so that Epel could still hear, “He's traumatized because me and Sebek bumped into him when we had a disagreement at a sleepover once-”
Epel glared, punching at Yuu's thigh, “You two rolled onta me while I was asleep and fought on top of me until Jack pulled ya off!”
Yuu whined, forcibly trying to kick Epel away from them as the other first year started to punch at them repeatedly, “Vil! Epel hit me!”
Vil hummed, checking his nails and barely acknowledging the two squabbling next to him, “Epel don't hit Yuu. She's already leaking blood.”
Epel groaned and made a series of grossed out noises before trying to escape Yuu's  range.
Yuu hummed and lifted their sleep shirt, looking at their new brightly patterned underwear, “Leaking isn't a problem anymore. These bad boys are iron clad; I don't even feel damp.”
“Put your shirt down.” Vil groaned, quickly pulling Yuu's shirt down to cover their underwear properly. Rolling his eyes as Yuu flashed their panties one more time before he stood, “I'm going to make myself a snack for the movie.”
“Rook is making us snacks for the movie.”
“No, Rook is making you both snacks. I'm making myself a snack that isn't going to be an unhealthy mess drowned in mayo and salt.”
The third-year walked away, waving over his shoulder, “Don't fight and please, Epel don't eat the mask.”
Epel gave a noncommittal noise, already swiping a finger across his face. Don't eat the mask; don't make a face mask from bananas and avocados…
Silence passes over the room, Yuu clicking through their laptop to make sure their movie of choice was fully loaded and prepped for viewing. Epel would glance over to his friend before looking away. Before long he finally huffed and angled his body to face them directly.
“So…yur bleeding out your butt-”
“Not my ass, but go on.”
Epel scoffed rolling over to his back to stare at the ceiling, “So yur bleeding…and that's…normal?”
“Ye.”
“...” Epel's face pinches, his mind connecting the information yet still refusing it, “That sounds awful.”
Yuu chuckled, moving to lay down beside on their stomach, “Yeah, it fucking sucks. I wanna like…curl up and cry but also fist fight the sun.”
“It sounds like a curse. Like a really fucked up ole fae curse that they'd do to a cheater or somethin’. Make'em just leak blood for days…”
“...” Yuu's smile widened, “Could you imagine?” At Epel's confused expression they continued, “If you could, like…learn to cast this as a curse, who would you cast it on?”
“...” Epel hummed, brows creasing before he snapped his fingers, “Crewel.”
“Oh my god? WHY!?”
Epel giggled, “Ah mean, if it'll be anythin’ like yurs, we'd get a week off from lessons because he'd rather be in a ditch somewhere.”
Yuu snorted, “Or, he'd keep coming to classes and take his blood rage out on us.”
“Damn…true…”He nudges Yuu with his knee, raising an eyebrow, “Who would you curse?”
“...I mean if we're being correct, I would have started to sync up with the vaginas I spend the most time with. So…that'd actually be you and Vil.”
“No.”
“Yes. Could you imagine? All three of us synced up and trying to stay alive?”
“Ah would actually take ma’self out. The very idea of blood leakin’ outta me for days is so fuckin’ distressin’. But pair that with you and Vil? Ah couldn't survive…”
Yuu snorts, rolling their eyes and turning back to the laptop, “Weak bitch.”
Epel swings his arm to punch against Yuu's thigh again, “If ya could pick though, who'd it be?”
“Oh, Leona.”
Epel had to set up as he gagged, his laugh choking him, “Why!?”
“He already acts like he's got PMS. I wanna see if he just, like…slips into a coma-stop punching me!”
They laughed and giggled, shoving and smacking each other as they chose more of their friends they would ‘curse’.
Tumblr media
Rook had appeared midway through Epel and Yuu recreating a WWE smackdown match. His blunt bangs pulled from his face by a sparkly fuzzy scrunchie.
“Ah! Such grace, such brutality. A duality of kin by spirit than blood. Marvelous, 100 points!”
Yuu spoke calmly, keeping Epel in a full nelson while the other first-year swore under his breath and squirmed, “Oh, hey Rook, did you need something?”
“Oui, mon petite amor. I wished to show you a new skill to aid you in this trying time. I will need you to release Monsieur Pommette to do so…”
Sighing, Yuu released Epel from their grasp and let him breath, “Did you leave Vil in my kitchen? With my poor defenseless seasonings?”
Rook's only reply was to pat Yuu on the head and sit beside them, “May I touch your body mon petite?”
“Rook, I'm begging you to learn how to speak to people in, like…some semblance of the average human being.”
Rook smiles, holding his hands out in silent command to place their body in his grasp.
Yuu sighs, elbowing a grumbling Epel beside them, “Can you make sure Vil doesn't actually throw out my seasonings he deems ‘unnecessary'?”
Epel grumbles a bit more but stands to walk into the kitchen. Once the other first-year was gone, Yuu placed both of their hands into Rook's waiting ones, “Okay. What are you showing me?”
Humming, Rook looked over their hands, his thumbs gently pressing into their palms periodically, “Is Acupuncture a practice in your world?”
“Yeah; it's the Eastern practice where you use needles on pressure points. Never had it done though, the idea of needles in my face was freaky.”
“Tres bien! It's similar then. I have always wondered if your body carried the same pressure points as ours, though I wasn't sure we were close enough to test such a theory. Be it physically or relationship wise.”
Rook grabs one of Yuu's hands in both of his own; one to cradle Yuu's palm gently, and the other making firm small circles in the place between their thumb and pointer finger.”
“Yeah…40 year marriage or not, I would not trust you near me with a pack of needles…”
Rook chuckles, fingers not stopping as they massage the point, “Luckily for me, these methods do not require needles. Though I do hope you will let me try one day.”
“Fuck no. You and needles are not something I wanna be in a room with- Oh…oh…”
“Ah! Is it taking effect?”
Yuu touched their head, blinking in mild astonishment, “My headache isn't so bad anymore.”
“And this is one of the few points I shall teach you! It is called Large Intestine 6, it can alleviate headaches. Though do be careful, you can bruise yourself with these methods.”
Rook then spent the next few minutes showing Yuu the functions of various pressure points to ease their period symptoms. He even gleefully showed them other points where pressure would cause pain and momentary complete bodily paralysis.
Rook hummed as he gently thumbed the skin on the back of Yuu's neck, “For maximum effect I would recommend applying pressure via an elbow jab.”
“I can't wait to stun Vil's arm the next time he tries to pull my ear while scolding me.”
“Please, do not. He will know I taught you this and back hand both of us into next week.”
Vil spoke as he and Epel walked back into the room, each carrying loaded trays, “Taught them what?”
“How to properly hold their head in a sitting position, mon roi!” Rook’s hand moved gently, firmly grasping the base of Yuu's skull and puppeteering their head to a more correct posture, “There we go! Now she may sit with her spine straight.”
Vil hummed, setting the large tray of snacks in front of the nest and looking Yuu over with a critical eye, “...I suppose it will have to do for now. This is a ‘Relax Day’ after all…”
Epel handed Yuu and Rook tall glasses of fruit smoothie, sitting beside Yuu and looking over their laptop, “Is the movie ready?”
Yuu took a moment, simply enjoying the taste of strawberries, mangos, and the hinted kick of tart orange juice. With a few clicks, the TV came to life mirroring their laptop, “Yep! Epel the master remote should have a button for the lights.”
Soon, everyone was cozy in the nest, snacks close and each with a chilled beverage.
Vil raised an eyebrow, already judging the movie by the overly cartoony opening, “And this movie is for…children?”
“Ye…I think…it was an 80’s movie. So ‘For Kids’ normally just meant no titties or swear words.”
Epel’s face quickly soured, glaring at Yuu, “Ah swear ta the Seven, if this anything like that Oz movie-”
Yuu giggled, shushing Epel, “Making you guys watch 'Return to Oz*’ was for my own sick pleasure. This won't be like that I promise.”
Rook sighed, “I should hope not. Monsieur Pommette could not sleep for days…”
Waving them off, Yuu kept their eyes glued to the screen as the movie’s opening twist was revealed, “Don't worry. ‘Who Framed Roger Rabbit?’ is the perfect relax day movie.”
Tumblr media
The Pomefiore boys all sat huddled around Yuu, eyes wide in terror as they watched the villain stalk closer and closer to the detective.
“When I killed ya brother! I talked! Just! Like! THIIIIIIIIIIIS!”
Vil whispered harshly to Yuu, mildly afraid to take his eyes off the screen, “This movie is for children?”
“Yeah. The 80’s were wild…”
Tumblr media
*Lowkey I wanted to put The Wiz instead but I remembered that movie being delightful besides the single scene in the subway. Return to Oz, however, keeps getting purged from my memory every time I watch it for good reason.

Illicit Affairs (Aaron Hotchner x GN!Reader)
Tumblr media
[note: MORE ANGST UPON YE. also can u tell im on a tswift kick?]

“I have to go.”
It was like clockwork. You'd meet, spend a few hours together, then he'd go and the next morning you'd have to look him in the eye at work like this wasn't breaking your heart.
This time, you decided to push things.
“Why? Who's waiting?” You ask, obviously pointing out the fact he wasn't married anymore and hadn't been for quite some time. The divorce had happened months before the first time the two of you did this routine, so why exactly was it he had to leave so soon?
He’s silent for a moment, then deeply exhales. “No one. But I don't have my go-bag if we get called.”
A spark of irritation fizzles through you, so you push harder. “What, you can't go get it on the way?”. It's clear by his face he doesn't want to have this talk, and another sigh rolls out of his nose. It was typical really, he only ever wanted to have the good stuff with you, no discussions that might require actual use of his brain cells. To him, you were supposed to be easy, just a way to relax after work that he didn't have to stress over.
Of course, he was more than aware of how unfair that was- you were a human being with very real feelings, reciprocated ones, even. But after Haley he just wasn't ready to focus on anything but Jack and work…which was made difficult by the fact you were work. You were there every day, giving him that hurt puppy dog look that broke his heart a little every time he saw it. Those eyes only made him push you further away, though, so you'd resigned to only allowing them when you thought he wasn't looking (He could never take his eyes off you, though you had no idea that was the case.).
“Can we not do this tonight?” Aaron asks, and you’re startled by the weakness in his voice, by the tightness that was building to a crack. Looking up at him, you can see his eyes glisten in the lamp light, an even more startling reaction to your nagging questions.
“Are you-...are you crying?” You ask in a whisper, worry knitting your brow and bringing a frown to your lips. “Aaron, hey-”
He tries to shy away, but you don’t let him for once. You pull him close and wipe his cheeks, still concerned about how out of nowhere this reaction is from him. “I just want you to stay, what’s going on?”
It’s silent for a long while, you assume he’s collecting his thoughts and calming down, so you just keep one hand on his shoulder and the other on his arm to ground him. Five minutes pass before he can look you in the eye, and when he does your heart shatters. The tears just won’t stop. As he falls into your arms, you rub his back and try to push through the confusion at how fast things changed emotionally. “What is it, Aaron…? Honey?” You ask softly, moving so he can sit next to you on the bed.
“I wanna stay-” It’s a little difficult to make out with the tears and the fact he has his face pressed against your shoulder, but you hear it. “I wanna stay,” He repeats “But that makes it real.”
Time slows, and the cogs start to turn in your head. Losing Haley twice over must’ve been the worst heartbreak he’d ever experienced, and she wasn’t in the field. You are. Sure, that means you’ve got each other’s backs, but it also meant your lives were on the line daily. Sure enough, he finishes your train of thought for you.
“I can’t lose you.”
You don’t even try to say he won’t, because you know he might. Every time you step out of the bullpen and into the field there’s a target on your back, and you’d be a fool if you tried to ignore that. But was that really a reason to break each other's hearts?
“You might.” You say stiffly, running your fingers through the longest parts of his hair. “But if you keep this up, you’ll lose me too.”
It was something you wanted to let hang, so you did. One hand still running through his hair as you watched him process it…he was tired, you both were, the case you were on right now was one of the worst and was only devolving more. What would usually have been an irritating question with snide comments had become the final straw. Unwittingly, you’d broken him. Eventually, he looked up at you from where he was leaning, and your heart broke. He didn’t have to speak for you to know how he felt.
“I know…I know it’s scary. I’m terrified.” His bottom lip trembles slightly, and you think about how you’d fight people tooth and nail to never have to see him so upset again, about how it gripped at your chest and stung your eyes every time you took in a breath. “But we can be scared together.”
There was no way to fix this, not alone, but therapy wasn’t something to bring up right now. Right now, the man in your arms clearly needed comfort and support, and that’s what you gave him. Hours pass with him half-cradled in your arms like a child, and eventually you wake up next to him, the pink light of a sunrise flushing his cheeks just like his own heartbreak had the night before. It was odd, seeing a man you knew to be so strong completely relying on you for stability, but at the same time it felt right. If Aaron needed a rock, that’s exactly what you’d be, there was no question he’d do the same for you in a heartbeat. This wasn’t going to be easy, you’d have a lot of explaining to do to the team and your families, but you’d do it together.
Afraid, but in love without denial.

Out of Darkness - Chapter Five: Promises - Alastor x human!fem!reader
Hello~~ You wouldn't believe how difficult this chapter was to write. Initially, I had a completely different idea, wrote it down entirely, but scrapped it because I didn't like it. Then, I almost finished this chapter when I learned an important lesson about saving your work while writing on the phone… So, I hope it turned out at least acceptable. If you find Alastor a bit off and don't enjoy it, please let me know. Sometimes I might write him in a better light, I guess haha. Enjoy reading, loves <3Go to the table of contents.
Words: ~4080 TW: swearing, angst with happy ending
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Y/n) was walking back home, the empty streets covered by the dark of the night, making her almost run to the safety of her house. She held her phone to her ear, listening to portions of Brenda's stories about her day, still aware of her surroundings.
"Anyway, she's a bitch..." Brenda ended the long story about one of her coworkers who keeps hitting on her boyfriend. "You listening?"
(y/n) snapped out of her trance, realising that her mind was wandering off indeed, and it wasn't only because of her fear of getting kidnapped. "Yeah, I just... I try to be aware of what's happening around me, you know?"
"Yeah, I get that. But you know what would've been great? If your boyfriend would've picked you up from David's, not let you wander off alone, especially knowing that you're uncomfortable doing so." a slight annoyance was present in Brenda's voice. (Y/n) sighed. It wasn't the first time Brenda or David warned her about Alastor.
"He's not my boyfriend, Bren."
"Oh, yeah. Because you've been taking it slow for the past few days. Too slow."
"And what's so wrong about it?" (y/n) said back, a hint of annoyance in her voice.
"Oh, no, girl, don't take me wrong. It is great to take it slow. But not when you're the only one who seems to try." (Y/n) raised an eyebrow at her statement, not understanding what she meant.
"What do you mean?"
"Oh, come on! He doesn't call, he doesn't show up at your door, he doesn't ask you on dates. It's like... He's not even trying to take it slow at this point, he just straight up tries to ignore you, but you always come back."
(Y/n) froze for a bit, thinking about her words. As much as she wanted to say the girl was wrong... she wasn't. Alastor never reached out to her, but he never declined her offers either.
"Ok, but then why did he never reject me?" (y/n) asked, mostly trying to convince herself that Brenda was wrong. "He could've just said no."
"Girl, you saved his life. He probably feels guilty to turn you down, but goddamit, you need to stop!" Brenda sighed, trying not to hurt her friend. She was never the sensitive type, but she has always been straightforward when helping a friend. For this reason, (y/n) always appreciated her. "I don't want to seem a bitch, but I'm saying this for you... I hope I'm wrong because I can tell you really like him, but you should stop being so clingy."
"So what should I do?" (y/n) asked as she entered her apartment.
"First, stop calling him. No calls, no texts, no asking out, nothing." Brenda told her, her voice demanding and confident. "Second, if he does in the end reach to you, you do not answer. Not immediately, at least. Maybe wait a few hours... or better - days. And obviously, it also depends on the reason he's calling. What do you do if he asks you on a date in the park?"
"I say yes?" (y/n) asked, curious if she was right or wrong.
"Wrong!" Brenda cut her off before she could even finish. "You say 'I don't know yet. I'll let you know later.'"
(y/n) chuckled at how silly this conversation seemed.
"Don't laugh! Now, on the other hand, if, after all these days of not doing anything, he asks you to lend him 20 dollars, what do you do?"
"I say I'm not in town?"
"Bravo!" Brenda said proudly. "You need to keep him on his toes. Or else, he will think you're a little puppy who's willing to do everything."
"I see, Bren. Thank you. I need to go. We talk later?"
"Sure. Oh, and (y/n)?" Brenda started, (y/n) humming in response. "I know things between you and Mark didn't work out and it altered your brain, making you see things differently than the rest of the world..." (y/n) smiled softly, a hint of sadness in her eyes. "But you're wonderful. And you deserve someone who cares about you. So don't settle for less just because. Trust me, been there." the girl said softly, a side of her that didn't always come to light.
"Thank you... Means a lot. I love you!" (y/n) said and hung up, sitting down on the couch. Her eyes got a bit watery as she thought about what Brenda said. She was right. She threw herself at Alastor, without thinking.
So, she didn't call him and just waited. A day passed, then two, then five and, eventually, a week. There was no sign of Alastor. Not a single text or call. Nothing.
"Nothing?" a text message from Brenda appeared on (y/n)'s phone. She grabbed the phone, her eyes puffy after she's been crying the whole day. She's acted like a fool, giving him everything he needed and now he left her like an old carpet.
"no" she hesitantly texted Brenda, who answered back almost instantly.
"Well, fuck him. Wanna talk?"
(Y/n) didn't want to talk. She wanted to go see him, scream at him, telling him he was a dick. But she had to stay home and move on. They weren't even dating, so why did she care so much?
"gotta clean the apartment. We'll talk later." (y/n) answered and got up. She wasn't exactly lying. The apartment was a mess and she had to do something that would take her mind off this entire thing.
She cursed the day he showed up at her doorstep. She didn't even want to help him at first...
She didn't tell Alastor the whole story of their meeting. Yes, she wanted to do something good, but it's no one's first choice to bring a stranger into their apartment so late at night, especially if they're a woman living alone.
Truth was she came back from work at around nine, finding him there. Drunk people looking for warmth in apartment buildings were nothing uncommon around there, so the police didn't always interfere, simply saying "They will wake up and leave".
She started knocking on the doors of the neighbours that she knew, not wanting to disturb the entire building with her problems. No one answered, making her believe they were either at work or asleep since some of them were old people.
So she called David and waited outside for anyone to come so she could ask for help. No one. Not a single person showed up. She stood there for one hour and no one appeared in sight. Eventually, freezing and knowing that it would take another hour for David to come, she returned to her door, seeing the passed man still in the same position.
Something that night made her do it. Something begged her to let him inside. Maybe it was her consciousness, telling her that if the man died, it would be her fault, or maybe it was just a moment of recklessness... but she brought him in, covering him with a blanket and turning the temperature extra-high just so he wouldn't die. And look where that brought her...
She wanted to cry, not only because of him but because of her too. She was an idiot. She should've kicked him out as soon as he woke up. Why did she care? If he died, she would've never found out anyway.
And she did think about it. That night, the night before and many nights after. Why did she care if he died? Maybe because most of the time that's how human nature worked. It makes us feel sympathy for others. Or maybe because she would constantly ask herself why the man at the club cared. He could've pretended he didn't see anything or take her home and do something worse. But he didn't. He helped her and asked for nothing in return. They didn't even knew each other's names.
Her thoughts were interrupted when her eyes fell on the little music box Alastor gifted her in the past days - they were walking in the park, passing by a lady selling some old decorative stuff. She could tell he liked it the moment he heard the enchanting, soft music, seeing the little ballerina elegantly spin until the song would stop.
She didn't have money on her that day but planned on buying it for him. But despite her plan, he was the one who gave it to her. She looked at him, her eyes wide. "But... I thought you liked it. Why are you giving it to me?" she had asked him. He smiled at her.
"Yes, dear. I liked it. It is very beautiful and unique. That's why I wanted you to have it."
Tears flooded her eyes and without thinking she got dressed and stormed out of the door. She was angry and she needed explanations. She wasn't gonna sit there crying while he was probably out there partying and sleeping around in the apartment she'd found him with the money from a job she helped him get. Adrenaline fueled her veins, her brain only concentrated on what she was going to tell him. She didn't care that it was cold anymore, she didn't care it was so late at night either.
All of her frustrations rushed to her. She was thinking about how she didn't say anything when she found Mark with her friend having sex, how she didn't get to see the faces of those men at the club when the police took them into custody... Without her will, she needed to take it out.
(Y/n) arrived way too quickly to his place, stopping in front of the door. For a moment, she just stood there, contemplating on what she should do. She took a deep breath and knocked a few times, but no answer. Without thinking, she tried on the doorknob, realising the door was opened. As the door slowly opened with a loud creaking noise, strong smell of paint and stale air engulfed her, almost forcing a choke out of her.
She cautiously entered, a dim light coming out from the room. Upon entering, she froze in the doorway, the scene in front of her seemingly ripped out of a murder documentary. A few candles were lit and the floor was full of paint coming out of a knocked can. There were many broken glass pieces and fallen books or objects. And on top of this scene, there was Alastor, casually sitting on the couch, a glass of whiskey in his hand. He looked away from her, almost as if she wasn't there in the first place.
"Alastor...?" she hesitated, a bit taken aback, her courage long gone. She looked for a moment behind her, making sure she left the door open just in case. The atmosphere felt so heavy, almost as if she was in a horror movie. "What happened?" she asked, stepping a bit closer, waiting for his reaction.
"I tripped and fell." He said after a short pause that actually felt much longer. (Y/n)'s anger came back, clearly seeing through his lies.
"You think I'm an idiot?" she asked, saying it a bit more aggressive than she would've liked. Alastor chuckled at her question, drinking the remains of the whiskey in one sip. He looked up at her
"No, dear, I don't think that," he said and his gaze turned away from her again. "But you're quite the gullible one, aren't you?"
Alastor said the last part mostly to himself, not really meaning for her to hear it, but she did. (Y/n)'s eyes watered at his words.
"You are such a dick..." she said through her teeth and walked towards the door.
Alastor's eyes widened slightly at her tone. He hadn't expected her to confront him like this.
"Wait!" he called out. His voice was a little louder than before, a hint of panic in it. (Y/n) stopped, despite her better judgment, waiting for him to say something. Anything.
Alastor took a deep breath, his eyes fixed on her back. For some reason, the thought of her walking away and never coming back made his heart clench in his chest.
He stood up from the couch, taking a few steps closer to her. "Please... don't leave," he said, his voice low and soft.
She slowly turned to face him. He looked changed. His once tidied-up and always-on-point appearance was now dishevelled. His hair was a mess, greasy strands covering his forehead and his clothes were dirty, full of dry paint.
"Why wouldn't I? Do you need anything else? A bigger house? Maybe a car?" she said, sarcasm filling her tone. "But don't you worry! I will give them to you so you can dismiss me again, right?"
Alastor flinched at her words, the sarcasm in her tone hitting him like a dagger. He clenched his jaw, his usually calm demeanour faltering for a moment. "You don't understand..." he said, the words coming out sharper than he intended.
(Y/n)'s anger and boldness grew with every second. "No, Alastor, I don't!" she spat the words at him. "I don't understand why, after everything I did, you couldn't at least call to tell me to leave you the fuck alone it that's what you wanted. I think I deserved at least that!"
Alastor’s mask of composure slipped, his expression darkening. "I never asked you to do anything for me, did I?" he snapped, his voice now laced with irritation. "You decided to help me on your own."
He took a step closer to her, almost towering over her. "So don’t act like I owe you anything."
You know what?” She said, her voice low and serious. “You’re right.” She admitted to him, looking into his eyes, trying her best not to cry right there.
“I wish I kicked you out that night right after you woke up, Alastor.” She told him and stormed off the door, shutting it with force behind her. Alastor stood there, dumbfounded, as he watched her storm out.
The sound of the door slamming echoed through his empty apartment, leaving a heavy silence in its wake.
He leaned against the wall, his expression a mixture of anger and frustration. He knew he messed up, but his pride didn’t allow him to admit it, to go after her. He walked into his living room, the silence surrounding him like a suffocating fog, he heard her parting words echoing in his mind.
'I wish I kicked you out that night...'
He clenched his jaw, his fists balled up in irritation. He should have been the one saying this. He should’ve been the one to dismiss her. But somehow, the tables had turned and she had the upper hand. And it frustrated him to no end. She was the reason he didn’t leave in the first place and now she’s mad at him.
Alastor growled in annoyance. She had no right to be mad at him! It wasn't his fault. He didn't ask for her help, and he certainly didn't ask her to keep checking up on him.
He clenched his teeth, the rage in him now boiling over. "Unbelievable," he muttered under his breath, his eyes fixed on the door she had slammed shut. He should just let her go, forget about her. She was a mere human, after all. Alastor was not. He had much more important things to focus on.
But he found himself unable to do that. He was irritated, yes. But the thought of her being out there, alone and upset, sent a sense of unease creeping up his spine.
And so, he sent one of his shadows to follow her, roaming the earth to look for her. He paced the room, minutes feeling like hours, his uneasiness stopping slightly when the shadow returned.
"Well?" he asked, his voice betraying a note of impatience.
The shadow nodded, the confirmation Alastor was waiting for. He didn't say a word, but a small wave of relief washed over him.
"Take me to her," he said quietly. Alastor followed the shadow as it led him to the park they used to walk in. His steps were firm and confident, but his mind was swirling with a mix of emotions.
He saw her sitting on a bench, shoulders slumped, head bowed. She was crying. This sight sent a pang of guilt through him. He didn’t like it. Didn’t like that he was the cause of her crying.
Alastor approached her, a coil in his stomach forming with every step. She noticed him and quickly looked away, ignoring him as he sat down next to her. Her nose and cheeks were red from the cold and she was trembling, trying to keep her already pale hands at least a little bit warm.
"You're cold," he noted, his voice unusually soft. He wanted to scold her, maybe even reprimand her for storming out like that. But seeing her like this made him hesitate.
“I’m not.” She quickly said, still not looking at him
Alastor rolled his eyes at her childish reply. "Don't lie. I can hear your teeth chattering from here." he retorted, but there was no real bite to his words.
“Why do you care?” She asked, her voice barely audible.
Alastor frowned at her question, his irritation growing. "I don't." he lied, his voice sharp. He was not about to admit the truth of why he was here. How could he admit it when even he couldn’t understand? Why was he here to check on her, after he just ignored her? He was Alastor. Not some lovesick puppy. He turned his head away from her, the silence between them thick and uncomfortable.
“Then leave…” (y/n) eventually said. “I’ll be fine. David will pick me up.” She was in fact lying. She didn't want to call David. Not anyone for that matter. She wanted to be left alone.
Alastor clenched his jaw, his irritation growing as he knew she was bluffing and lying about the ride. He could read her like an open book.
"I don't care if David picks you up or not," he said, his voice harsh. "But I'm not leaving you out here all alone in this cold." (Y/n) got up, harshly looking at him.
“You know what? Do you want to be even? Fine!” She shouted. “You saved me from freezing to death! Thank you! Now we’re even! Now leave me the fuck alone!” Her eyes were red and swollen from the crying, tears still flooding them. She walked away, but Alastor quickly got up and grabbed her arm, his grip firm.
With a low growl, Alastor reached out and gripped her chin, forcing her to look at him. His eyes bored into hers, anger and... worry burning into them.
"You're coming with me," he stated firmly, his voice leaving no room for argument.
(Y/n) wanted to protest, but she didn’t. She wanted to pull back when he grabbed her hand, leading her away from the bench, but she didn’t. She was tired, cold, angry…
He stopped a cab and opened the door for her, following her inside.
As the cab rattled to life, Alastor silently looked at (y/n). He could see the exhaustion in her eyes, the anger still simmering just below the surface. The ride was quiet, the tension between them palpable. When they finally reached her place, he followed her up the stairs, his hand still gripping her arm firmly.
Alastor immediately let go of her as soon as they entered the apartment, the sudden lack of warm skin against his hand sending an unexpected jolt through him.
He looked around the apartment, his eyes taking in the familiar surroundings. Everything was just as he remembered it. Organized and tidy. Peaceful.
“I expect you to leave as soon as possible.” She coldly said to him as she took her shoes off, keeping her gaze away from him.
Alastor bristled at her cold tone and the way she avoided his gaze. He had half a mind to just turn around and leave without a word, but something kept him there.
"You really want me to leave?" he asked, his voice betraying a hint of vulnerability he didn’t mean to show.
She sighed, tears refusing to come out anymore, but the feeling of wanting to cry was still there. “I am nothing to you, Alastor… why would I want you to stay?”
Alastor's heart clenched upon hearing her words. He wanted to deny it, tell her she was wrong. But he couldn’t. It was a fact he had reminded himself of countless times.
He was a selfish being. A demon. He didn’t have any room for a human in his life. Not even her.
But then, why was he here? Why was he so bothered by the thought of her crying? After a few moments of silence, Alastor finally spoke up, his voice quieter than before. "Sit down," he instructed her, making his way to the couch. She followed without protesting, hugging her knees to her chest as she sat down.
Seeing her like this made Alastor's heart skip a beat. She seemed so small and vulnerable. He looked away from her. He could feel her eyes on him, waiting for him to speak. He hated the silence, the tension. He wanted to say something, anything. But words eluded him.
What was he supposed to say anyway? Sorry? Sorry for dismissing her? For ignoring her? For treating her like a nuisance, a burden even though she has only ever helped him?
(Y/n) sighed, getting ready to get up, knowing that this would lead them nowhere.
"I'm not good with emotions and feelings," he finally said, his voice coming out soft and quiet, making her stop in her tracks. He didn’t look at her, his gaze fixed on the floor. "I've never been good at them. I don't know how to deal with them. I don't know how to deal with you..."
(Y/n) raised an eyebrow at his words. As much as she hated it, she still… felt some sympathy for him. She was hoping he’d say something awful, just so she would not be able to forgive him, just so she would have a reason to kick him out.
“With… me?” She asked.
Alastor sighed, raking a hand through his hair. "Yes, you," he confirmed, his voice growing taut with irritation.
He hated this. Hated this feeling of vulnerability, of being open and honest about his emotions. It was so unlike him.
"You're different." he continued, finally looking at her. "You always have been. You make me…" he trailed off, the words getting caught in his throat. He wanted to tell her she made him feel things he had never felt before. That she was unlike anyone he had ever met. That she had somehow weaselled her way into his heart, making it beat in a way it hadn’t in a very long time. But he didn’t. He couldn’t. The words were there, at the tip of his tongue, but they died before he could say them out loud.
He felt her warm hand suddenly resting on him, his whole body almost burning at the sensation. He pulled it away as a reflex, making her do the same.
"Sorry... I'm not used to... being touched so suddenly like this," he said, his voice so quiet. He looked at her, a pink blush spreading on her cheeks as she fidgeted her fingers. He noticed that at her. Whenever she was anxious she would do this. Slowly, he reached back for her hand, her eyes widening at the interaction.
"I'm sorry... I..." he started, not really finding the words. "I really don't want to make you suffer." he squeezed her hand slightly.
"You keep saying this, Al... But I don't get it... Hurt me how?" she asked him. He sighed, caressing the skin with his thumb.
"I can't open up, (y/n)... I was not used to this kind of things... My father..." he stopped, pinching the bridge of his nose. What was he doing...?
She squeezed back his hand. "Alastor... If you want this... I am willing to wait."
He looked at her, a genuine look on her face. He knew she didn't understand... He knew she would never understand but... Alastor also knew there was no way he could leave, not now.
His instincts acted in a weird way around her. He felt the need to protect her, to be with her.
"I do..."

Your body felt numb, achy, and weak. Yet your mind was completely blissed out, soaring with ecstasy, and flooded with endorphins.
Breathing was difficult in the heavy air of the room, saturated with the scent of raw, passionate sex that hung in the air as the warmth between the two bodies flanking you enveloped you.
The memories of how you'd got here were hazy, yet there was no trace of regret. Your heart raced in your chest as tingles radiated through your core after the intense encounter. Yet, pure happiness surged through your veins, joy coursing through your bloodstream.
-
It was just before the season kicked off when you found yourself alone with William Nylander for the first time. During a night out in Toronto, the charming Swede caught your eye, and after a few minutes of exchanging glances, he finally made his way closer to you, effortlessly charming you with his dazzling blue eyes and cheeky smile.
You had moved to the city about a year ago, where your friendly and outgoing roommate had introduced you to some of her friends. Yet what she hadn't mentioned beforehand was that some of these friends happened to be players for the Toronto Maple Leafs.
You’d naturally tried to keep your cool and play the role of a casual friend whenever you were around the team and their social circles. And while you had gotten to know most of the guys on a friendly level, it never went beyond that.
That all changed on the night when you couldn't ignore the attraction you felt towards the Swedish hockey star. And when you shared a moment of connection amidst your mutual friends, you had a feeling that the night was going to be something special.
And you were right. William certainly made it a night to remember.
After a few more hours of chatting and occasional gentle touching, he edged in closer and whispered seductive words in your ear. His breath sent a shiver down your spine, and his words set off a tingling heat between your legs. There was simply no way you could resist him.
So, as soon as your roommate left with some random guy, quickly checking if you were okay to get home alone, you seized the opportunity to invite William back with you. To which he happily agreed.
Since both of you were mindful of the upcoming hockey schedule and the importance of staying in good shape, none of you had too much alcohol in the system, making you both aware of your actions.
And to say the sex was good would be an understatement. William took his time, starting with lots of kissing. His skilled mouth felt perfectly matched with yours, and as both of you became increasingly turned on and eager, he used his thick fingers to stimulate your core, stretching your entrance while circling your clit, ensuring you reached climax at least once.
Once you were wet and ready for him, he put on a condom and began slowly entering you in the missionary position. However, the tender, slow lovemaking didn't last long as the heat in your bedroom intensified. Both of you were too aroused to hold back, quickly transitioning to other positions.
First, you angled yourself on William's shoulder, allowing him to penetrate deeper and harder. Then, with both of your legs against his chest as he knelt back, he thrust into you vigorously.
At this point, your mind was already lost in a blissful haze as you gripped onto the pillowcase behind your head, and your muscles tightening around William's member. With each thrust, he stimulated your walls, bringing you closer and closer to orgasm.
And as he felt himself nearing climax as well, he released your legs, swiftly pulling out before using his strength to turn you onto your stomach. Lifting your buttocks slightly for better access, he entered you again, filling you up as he hit a different angle.
Your breaths were heavy, moans blending as his hips collided against your cheeks. Gripping the sheets beneath you, William's pounding drove you both over the edge into ecstasy, reaching climax simultaneously.
It had been uncomplicated yet deeply satisfying sex, far better than most first times with a new partner. It didn't feel rushed or impersonal; it was passionate and genuine, despite the absence of romance or deeper emotions. It was simply perfect. Your bodies had moved in sync, and both of you experienced profound pleasure.
However, after the wonderful one-night stand, William wanted to clarify that it was all it was to him – at least for now. While he knew he really liked you, he emphasised that this season he wouldn't have the time or energy to focus on dating. Instead, his priority would be his hockey career, so if the two of you were to continue anything, it would be limited to casual hook-ups and friendly get-togethers.
And, you didn't really have any objections. William was a good friend, someone you felt a connection with, and had shared interests with. Moreover, he was exceptionally attractive, and after just one encounter, feeling his body against yours, you couldn’t deny the temptation of doing it again. You’d slowly come to know him well, and despite the tiny hope of building something together, you also respected his desire to keep things non-romantic. So, you agreed on a casual friends-with-benefits arrangement whenever there was time for it.
And already following one of the first friendly matches before the start of the regular season, you shared your second night together. Which once again, was a night filled with multiple orgasms- and this time, you even got to experience William's oral skills, something you had never encountered in such an incredible way with anyone else before.
The creativity you both had with positions was simply fun and exciting. Yet while you alternated between being on top and taking the lead, William always remained the dominant character - except perhaps when you showcased your own oral talents.
In short, it was just a great causal relationship where you shared a profound connection. Both before and following the heated session, you shared laughter and smiles, before you made your way out of his condo. And to no one’s surprise, the two times then quickly turned into three times. And then four times over a few more weeks.
-
As the regular season gradually took shape, William's predictions about his limited free time outside the hockey rink proved accurate. Although you exchanged texts almost daily, sharing memes and Instagram posts, you reminded yourself that there was no deeper meaning to it. It was all just friendly banter and genuine laughter. Or well, perhaps there was a rather flirtatious sense of humour involved, as well as occasional sexual jokes and references.
And truth be told, you cherished the relationship you had with the Swede. Since he didn’t require much attention from your side, it gave you ample opportunity to get to know everyone else around the team better. So, you began spending more and more time with some of the girls, going out for brunches and having girls’ nights-in to watch the hockey matches, as well as frequenting the arena more often than before.
So, as weeks turned into months, you slowly grew closer to the other players. Whether it was dinners at the Marners’ or social gatherings with the team, you found yourself welcomed into the tightly knit circle. Something beyond what you had ever imagined your life would be like living in Toronto.
And among all the newly formed relationships, one stood out in particular. You weren’t entirely sure what sparked it, but as if out of nowhere, freshman Matthew Knies walked straight into your heart and stole it.
Perhaps it was the first time you were carrying too many iced coffees for the ladies and almost spilled them, if it hadn’t been for the young forward's help. Or maybe the connection began when he nearly ran you over near the training rink, his focus solely on navigating, oblivious to your presence.
But regardless, a connection quickly blossomed. What started as light laughter and sweet exchanges gradually evolved into coffee walks and exploring the hidden gems of the city, whenever he wanted to give the Tavares family some private time. As you knew what it was like to be new to the city, and since it wasn’t too long ago for you, you offered him company if he ever needed a break from hockey -to which he gladly accepted. And as you spent more and more hours together, you couldn’t help but feel something stirring within you.
You couldn’t quite pinpoint it, but one thing was certain: it felt good.
Similarly, Matthew was slowly developing some kind of feelings for you as well. As he had recently ended things with his ex-girlfriend due to the distance, he found a void in his heart that needed filling. And your sweet laughter, quirky jokes, and endless storytelling about anything and everything filled that void for him.
At first, it didn’t feel romantic or anything of the sort, especially since he wasn’t seeking a relationship; you were just two good friends enjoying each other's company. And despite the little age gap, he felt like an equal. You helped him move into his new flat, shared your best easy cooking tips, while he introduced you to playing NHL on PlayStation and played a few tunes on his guitar for you. It was a simple yet profound friendship.
And as the hockey season then unfolded with its highs and lows, the emotional roller-coaster began to influence your friendships. If he ever needed a tight hug or wanted to call you while on the road just to talk about something other than hockey, you were there for him.
So, as days passed, your time gradually involved more chats with Matthew Knies, while your friendship with William Nylander softly faded into the background.
You never officially ended things with William; he was simply preoccupied with training, so your communication was limited to social media. Meanwhile, your conversations with Matthew grew deeper and more personal. Gradually, he learned more about your family, career aspirations, and the reasons for your move to Toronto, while he talked about the ups and downs of his recent relationship with his ex-girlfriend and how much he missed home.
It wasn’t until Auston Matthews brought up your and William's previous encounters that it dawned on Matthew what he had happened before he’d entered the picture. Though William had become one of his best friends on the team, he had never mentioned anything about having had a relationship with you. But after a training session, when it was just the two Arizona players left in the locker room, Auston brought it to Matthew's attention.
"He's alright with it, you know," the elder hockey star started. "About you and y/n."
Matthew was a little confused. Why would William have anything against who he was friends with?
"What do you mean?" he asked.
"You know, because they had a thing going on – sleeping together and stuff like that," Auston explained, believing Matthew already knew, given his close friendships with both you and William.
"Oh... wait, what?" Matthew's eyebrows shot up in surprise.
"You didn't know?"
"Well, no... when did they..." Matthew's curiosity peaked.
"Oh, months ago, man... don’t worry about it, it was just before the season started, so..." Auston replied casually.
"Ah, cool... but," the younger teammate pondered whether to delve deeper. "Like, how many times? Did they go out or?"
"Just a few times, I think," Auston shrugged nonchalantly as he rose from his seat to pack his bag. "Hey, Willy's cool, and no, it’s not like they ever dated, so she's all free."
Yet, as Auston left the locker room, leaving Matthew to his own thoughts, he couldn't help but consider talking to William about it, just to be sure and not accidentally create tension with his good friend and one of the greatest players on the team.
And fortunately, the conversation with William went surprisingly smoothly.
"Of course, I don’t mind you hanging out with y/n," William simply chuckled. "I mean, sure, she's my friend and all, and yes, we slept together, but that's it, man."
"Alright, just wanted to make sure there's nothing more between you two," Matthew smiled back at his friend.
"Nah, she's amazing, I get why you want to be around her," William flashed a smile, his body language relaxed as he rested his hand on his hip, while he rubbed his beard with the other. "I mean, I just feel bad I haven't talked more with her myself, so I'm just happy she's got you, man."
Matthew felt a weight lift from his shoulders after his talk with William. While it wasn't entirely uncommon for players to have shared experiences with a girl or two occasionally, it had mostly been just for sex, and not across relationships, at least not to his knowledge.
However, what neither you nor Matthew knew was that William had been thinking a lot about your growing friendship. Initially, he found it sweet and nice that you were chatting with everyone on and around the team, giving him the space he'd said he needed to focus on his game.
But as you gradually stopped flirting with him, both in person and through messages, he started to feel the change sting a little. He knew he was the one who had said there couldn't be more between you than just sex, but when even that didn't happen, he felt as if you were slowly distancing yourself from him. And he was losing you both as a lover and a friend.
So, even though he acted cool and chill about the closeness between you and the freshman, he still couldn’t deny that it got to him. The connection he had shared with you felt almost unique, and he wasn’t ready to let it fade completely.
-
Months had passed since your first night with William, and life in Toronto was nothing short of amazing. You had a lovely group of friends, with most of your nights spent watching hockey matches alongside them, occasionally dining out with the team.
Everything seemed perfect, except for the fact that you still missed William deeply. Despite convincing yourself from the beginning that you never harboured any deeper feelings for him, you couldn’t deny the disappointment you felt when your relationship never progressed further or lasted. You simply couldn’t escape the significance of your connection with him and seeing him so often around the rink or when going out, made it clear that you needed to find a way to move on.
And fortunately, your relationship with Matthew helped ease the hurt you were feeling. He was an amazing guy, and to you it almost seemed crazy that his ex-girlfriend had let him go. He was sweet, caring, and surprisingly mature for his age. And you knew you were slowly developing feelings for him.
So, one Friday night, as you were out with some girlfriends not in the hockey group, you shared your troubles, hoping for advice from outsiders.
"If you want my opinion," Bethany spoke, holding her drink as you’d moved from dinner to cocktails. "What you need is closure. Tell this Will directly that you’re over him, cut him out, and then move on with that other guy, since you seem really into him."
You had tried to avoid giving too many details about who your relationships were with to your girlfriends, wary of any misunderstandings getting out to the media. Yet their input did have you thinking.
"I can’t just cut him out... I see him around all the time, he’s part of the group of friends, and..." you tried to explain. "I don’t know... I might still like him a little..." You finally admitted to yourself.
“Well, then I don’t see any other option,” Carol chimed in with a raised eyebrow. “You need to sleep with Matts. The best way to get over a guy is to sleep with another.”
The girls giggled and cheered at her remark, but despite trying to join in the mood, you couldn’t shake the knot in your stomach. You weren’t entirely sure if this was truly the way to go. Making a move on Matthew meant there would most likely be no going back to William. But if you let the memories of William, knowing he didn’t feel the same for you, hold you back from developing things with Matthew, you knew you’d regret it too.
So, torn between your feelings for the two men, you ordered another Espresso Martini followed by a Cosmopolitan.
You weren’t exactly tipsy or drunk, but you had just the right amount of liquid courage to steel yourself. And as you parted ways with the girls and made your way to the subway station, you pulled out your phone to find the name of the person you felt a need for calling.
However, as you stood there, hesitating over the 'call' button with your finger, a wave of unease washed over you. And upon glancing to your right, you spotted a group of men staring in your direction.
Initially, you tried to ignore them, but as they slowly edged closer, adrenaline started to course through you. And suddenly, one of them made lewd remarks, prompting you to press the screen.
"You tried to reach William Nylander. Please leave a message after the tone. *beep*"
With a frustrated sigh, you muttered, "Shit..."
The train finally arrived, and you pondered your next move. Since the men appeared to be waiting for the same train, you stopped yourself from entering and watched to see if they did. Breathing a sigh of relief when they did, you remained on the platform and decided to wait for the next one. However, just before the doors closed, two of them stepped back onto the platform.
And this time panic surged within you, so you swiftly switched to plan B.
"Hey," Matthew's voice echoed through the phone, instantly comforting you.
"H-hey, Matts..." your voice quivered slightly, despite your efforts to stay composed. "I hope I'm not disturbing your evening..."
"No, I'm just chilling at home... y/n, are you alright?" His concern was evident in his voice.
"I... I just..." you stuttered, avoiding direct eye contact with the two men but catching them in the corner of your eye. "I'm just feeling a bit..."
"What's wrong?"
But before you could respond, one of the men started heckling you again. "Hey, sweetheart! Lost your way? Need a tour guide? I'll show you a real good time!"
You had to take a deep breath to steady yourself.
"What's going on, y/n?" Matthew's voice was firm. “Who was that?”
"There are... um, some guys, Matts," you whispered, struggling to hold back tears. "It's really uncomfortable, and I just needed to talk to someone..."
"Where are you?"
"I'm..." you paused, gathering your thoughts before informing him about your location.
"Just stay there and try to keep away from the guys... I'll come and get you," Matthew quickly declared.
And before you could even attempt to object, he was already on his way out the door. You had to take in a deep breath as you tried your best to move your feet, feeling anxious as the men didn’t seem to leave you alone. Yet, with a little force, you managed to slowly move from your spot, and wander the platform a little. And with Matthew still on the line, you then cautiously moved towards the exit, avoiding glances back at the unsettling men. However, as you rode the escalator, you inadvertently looked back and spotted them trailing behind you.
"Please tell me you're close..." you whispered urgently. It almost seemed like forever before you were able to escape the uncomfortable situation. Yet thankfully, as soon as you reached street level, you spotted Matthew rolling up in his car, prompting you to hurry towards him.
"Oh my God! Thank you!" you exclaimed breathlessly, wrapping your arms around his neck, almost throwing yourself at him. "Thank you..."
"Hey, y/n… it’s okay," Matthew's voice was soothing as you gently pulled away, your eyes tinged with tears of frustration. "I just wanted to make sure you were alright..."
You were at a loss for words. It almost felt like he had rescued you. Even though the danger wasn't anything extreme, it had felt that way in the moment, and you were incredibly grateful that he had taken the initiative to come and pick you up without you even having to ask.
"I am... now," you breathed out, attempting to muster a smile.
"Good," Matthew returned the smile as he prepared to resume driving. "Let me take you home then."
It was a smooth ride filled with light giggles and laughter, and you probably thanked him about a thousand times before you reached your apartment building. However, as you were about to exit the car, you hesitated for a moment. Pressing your lips together, you pondered whether to speak your thoughts, yet with a light blush of embarrassment rising to your cheek, you pushed yourself to let the words slip out.
"Matts..." you softly began, your eyes meeting his in the dimmed lights. "Y/rm/n isn’t home, and… I sort of don’t feel like being alone tonight... after what happened..."
Your eyes briefly glanced down at your fingers before returning to meet his gaze. Yet, Matthew just offered you a soft smile.
"Hey, y/n, if you want me to stay with you, I can stay… It's no problem."
It didn’t take much convincing, given that Matthew only wanted you to feel safe. So, as you made your way to your flat and settled onto the sofa, you again couldn’t help but express your gratitude.
"You don’t have to keep thanking me y/n," he chuckled as you offered him something to drink, sitting next to him.
"I know... I’m sorry, it’s just so sweet of you," you flashed him a smile. “I just feel like I owe you something.”
Pausing for a brief moment, Matthew put down his glass and leaned slightly towards you, pressing his lips together before speaking. "Y/n... you owe me nothing - honestly, I’d do anything for you..." he let out a soft breath, his eyes meeting yours in a tender gaze. "I mean... that’s what friends are for, right..." The last part came out softer, and perhaps a little hesitant as he didn’t truly want to have phrased it like that.
Yet, his words hung in the air for a moment as you savoured the moment of the two of you together, alone in the apartment as your roommate was out.
"Right," you smiled. "That's what friends are for," you repeated softly.
Another moment of silence lingered as the two of you just sat there, sharing eye contact. Matthew’s arm draped over the back of the sofa, your body slightly turned towards him, and your knee lightly touching his.
Matthew felt his heart pounding in his chest, his palms a little sweaty. He was a little unsure of your signals, however, as you maintained your focused gaze on him, he suddenly felt a rush of confidence and without much thought, he decided to slowly lean in to close the gap between you.
It was just for a brief moment, yet the quick kiss Matthew shared with you caused your lips to tingle.
"Shit... I’m so sorry," he muttered softly as he quickly pulled away.
But you didn’t want him to feel apologetic. In fact, you had had the same inclination, but lacked the confidence to act on it. "No... Matts, it’s okay," you replied, your tone just above a whisper.
"Really?"
And without any verbal confirmation, you simply just slowly leaned in and connected your lips once more. However, this time, they stayed connected for a little longer.
Gently feeling his smooth mouth on yours, your hand rested on his cheek while his found your hip, and almost in slow motion, your lips moved against each other as you shared your breaths. Then very delicately, both of you parted your lips and carefully let your tongues meet in a sensual dance.
It was a soft and gentle kiss, nothing sloppy or rushed. Then slowly pulling apart, you both let out a breath.
"Just to be sure..." Matthew spoke gently. "You’re not just doing this because of what happened tonight, are you?"
Softly, you shook your head, reassuring him that you’d been thinking the same. And with that understanding, you both aimed for another deep kiss. This one hungrier, and slowly growing more intense as you let your hands gently explore each other, pulling each other close.
With every passing moment, it grew deeper and deeper, sending warmth within you that you hadn't felt since your first night with William. However, as you moved to sit in Matthew’s lap, thoughts of William slowly faded, and you didn't even notice your phone buzzing on the coffee table.
As morning light seeped in through the curtains and you slowly awakened from your slumber, a gentle smile graced your lips as you felt Matthew’s arm enveloping your body. Despite him being clad in sweats, you could feel the warmth of his muscular, bare chest against your back.
You lay there for a moment, listening to the comforting rhythm of his breathing, not quite snoring yet emitting odd noises. And you couldn’t help but relish in the memories of last night.
Nothing overtly sexual had happened between you. Instead, you had spent the evening on the sofa, sharing deep kisses and simply enjoying the connection between you. Although you felt a certain level of attraction towards the younger hockey player, you didn’t want to rush into anything. For once, you wanted to take things slow.
And Matthew seemed to be on the same page as you, despite the evident arousal indicated by the hardness in his sweats. Yet, he remained respectful, and when you both realised how late it was, you decided to retire to bed.
Initially, Matthew had merely intended to ensure you fell asleep, tucking you into your oversized t-shirt and beneath the covers. However, as he lay on the bed beside you, admiring your beauty as you drifted off, he too succumbed to a wave of fatigue and ended up falling asleep with his arm around you.
And upon waking up to find you smiling at him, he had no regrets. “Morning,” his husky voice greeted, his eyes still slowly opening.
“Morning,” you replied sweetly. “Did you sleep alright?” you asked, noticing how his rather large frame occupied a significant space of your 1.5-person sized bed.
"Actually, I did," he chuckled, his voice rough and endearing.
There was a tender moment lingering between the two of you as your eyes met. However, the soft moment was suddenly interrupted by the doorbell ringing.
"What the..." you muttered under your breath, slightly baffled as to who would ring your doorbell early on a Saturday morning.
Yet as you made your way to the hallway and swung the door open, you were met with none other than your Swedish friend.
"Willy..." you breathed out, slightly shocked that he had shown up at your door.
"Good! You’re alive," he spoke perhaps a little too sharply, while his eyes were filled with concern.
"What do you mean?"
"I tried calling you yesterday, after you tried to call me," he explained, his tone softening a tad as he locked eyes with you. "But you didn't answer, so I gave it another shot and texted you... but then you didn't text me back or anything, so I started freaking out a little... I mean... I just wanted to make sure you were alright - so I came here before heading to the morning skate."
You let out a sigh as you listened to his words, a small wave of guilt washing over you to how concerned he’d been. "Shit... Willy, I'm really sorry... I was out with some girls, and then there were these guys making me really uncomfortable," you blurted out suddenly, feeling the need to explain.
"Shit what, hold on... what guys? Y/n are you alright?" he asked, a hint of panic creeping into his voice, feeling the guilt for not answering when you needed help.
"Yeah, yeah, I'm fine... everything sorted itself out," you reassured him, trying to keep calm. But before you could elaborate, Matthew emerged from your bedroom, throwing on his t-shirt from the night before.
And William's gaze immediately landed on him walking into the hallway. "Kniesy?" he exclaimed in disbelief.
"Hey Willy," Matthew replied softly, moving slightly behind you as he greeted his teammate.
"What are you... Did you sleep here..." William started to speak, but his words trailed off as he looked between you and his teammate. "I mean, that’s none of my business..." William shook his head as he processed the situation.
"Willy, no, Matt just stayed here after giving me a lift home," you explained, feeling another twinge of guilt for some reason. You weren't entirely sure why you cared so much about what William thought had happened, yet you sensed it had something to do with your still lingering feelings for him.
"Right, fair enough..." William tried to play it cool, yet he couldn't ignore the flicker of jealousy igniting within him. Though there was a fleeting temptation to punch his mate and teammate, he knew he had no grounds to be jealous. You weren't his to claim, and Matthew had only acted out of concern. So, rubbing his eyebrow with his thumb as he collected his thoughts, he spoke again. "Well, uh, guess I'll catch you at practice then,” he nodded towards the younger player.
-
Nothing particularly dramatic went down at morning practice, but there was a bit of tension brewing between the Swede and the lad from Arizona that didn't escape notice.
Despite William making an effort to appear calm and collected about the events of the previous night, he couldn't quite shake the irritation he felt towards himself. He knew he had feelings for you, probably since the first time you spent several nights together, getting intimate in various ways. And as he was aware that he hadn't pursued anything further, he couldn't help but feel some regret now that he saw you moving on with someone else. And not just anyone else – his teammate and close friend.
His frustration was even clear during training, when he couldn't score the way he wanted to, so he knew it was getting to him more than it should. "Fuuuuuck," he muttered to himself after another failed attempt.
Meanwhile, Matthew was unsure how to act around his friend. Part of him wanted to explain himself, to tell William that he had feelings for you, and he didn't feel guilty about it. But the truth was, he did feel guilty. He knew you'd been with William first, and that William hadn't exactly ended things with you – it just sorts of fizzled out. So, he understood that there were still lingering feelings or something between you.
"Alright, that's it for today! See you all later for the game!" Coach Keefe announced, signalling the end of the morning training session.
The locker room was buzzing with anticipation for tonight's match. However, as the boys left one by one, leaving William as the last to finish up, Matthew, sitting just two stalls away, saw an opportunity to address whatever was going on.
"Hey," he approached gently, despite knowing William wasn't in the best mood after practice.
"What's up?"
"I, um... we're good, right?" the younger forward asked. "Like, you and me, we're good..."
William had a feeling of what Matthew was referring to, so as cool as he was, he just shrugged. “Yeah, of course.”
“Good, alright,” Matthew nodded.
“I mean, thanks, for… you know being there for y/n,” William then added with a gentle smile, trying his best to hide his complicated feelings still stirring within him.
“Of course, I mean when she called and said she wasn’t alright, it was the only thing I wanted to do…”
William nodded. “Right… yeah, that’s good…”
There was a brief moment of silence as the two boys just sat there and gently nodded in agreement.
“Willy, just to be sure… there’s nothing going on between you two, anymore, right?” Matthew stepped carefully.
“What do you mean?”
“I mean… let’s say, I want to make a move on her, ask her out, you know- you’ll be okay with it?”
Pouting his lips William pondered for a moment. Of course, he wouldn’t be okay with it. He still had feelings for you and if Matthew made a move on you, it would probably complicate things even further.
“Well, have you asked her out? I mean, is there like something official going on?”
“Uhm… no but, I guess I might want to… and I wouldn’t want you to be mad if you know she wants it too…”
“Ah… yeah alright…” William thought for a moment. The angel on his shoulder knew he could be the good guy here, admitting his wrongs, yet the devil on the other shoulder told him to play the game, and not give up. “But I mean if there’s nothing official between you… then I can still. You know, take a shot.”
It was as if small competition was slowly forming. Something neither of the boys truly wanted, yet it started to seem inevitable.
“You want to take a shot?”
“Well, yeah maybe… I mean, I still like her.”
“Yeah, but you also said you didn’t want to date her – you dumped her, remember?”
“I didn’t dump her… I just… I wasn’t ready, alright… I am now, and I mean it’s not like anything has happened between you – it’s just a crush you can get over.”
Though Matthew knew that William had slept with you, and he hadn’t, he still knew that there was something between you and him.  “Well, something’s happened – we made out.”
“You kissed?” William froze a little. “When?”
“Last night… a lot actually…” It was his best card to play, but he knew it held significance.
William pondered again. So, he hadn’t just picked you up and driven you home. You’d invited him inside and made out before you let him sleep in your bed. Something William hadn’t done, as whenever the two of you had had sex, you hadn’t spent the night together.
“Hmm…” Was all he managed to reply, as he gazed into the thin air.
“I’m sorry Willy…. But I like her, and I really think she likes me too… so, maybe it’s best if you just… admit you blew your chance and step aside.”
Matthew felt bold as he spoke the words. He was confident that he had the upper hand, and that William was the fool who’d let you go too soon. Yet, there was one thing he hadn’t considered.
“You know…” William spoke softly, turning his eyes to Matthew. “Last night… before she called you… she called me first…” he let the word hang in the air for a few seconds before speaking again. “So, maybe I haven’t lost her completely… and I don’t think I can step aside… not without trying…”
The air felt heavy as Matthew realised that you might also still harbour feelings for William as well. It almost felt like a knife to the heart as he thought he’d have to fight one of his best friends to win you over, yet he couldn’t let it go. Not at this point. He’d fallen for you, and there was no escaping his feelings.
Meanwhile, William struggled with his own thoughts. Should he really back off and let Matthew go for it with you? Or should he try one last time, knowing that at least he tried to fight for you, and not just give you up that easily? And though he for a moment considered stepping aside, he just couldn’t do it. It wasn’t in his nature to give up. And given the fact that no other woman had ever made him feel the way you had, he wasn’t ready to let you go.

A deep secret | LynLumi [N$FW]
Tumblr media
A/N: Many thanks to @kusuguricafe for her kind support! This is my first time writing Lyney, I think, so I hope they're not too ooc and that you enjoy this! Thank you so much!!
Summary: Lumine gets tricked by a certain magician and she decides to tickle him but... What's going on right now?!
Tumblr media
It had been a long time since she last felt so free and happy. And it was all thanks to a magician she had met not long ago in Fontaine.
A little magician with a flirtatious smile and vibrant eyes. Lyney knew how to use his words well, even Lumine found herself blushing up to her ears when he flirted with her more than once. As time passed, she had to admit that something in her heart started to twitch uncomfortably. What was she to him? He always looked at her in that way that made Lumine feel butterflies in her stomach and always mentioned how beautiful she was and many other nice words that made her feel embarrassed to her core, but tickled her chest.
There was also the fact that he couldn't keep his hands to himself when he was with her. He was always respectful, the warm tips of his fingers gently touching the back of Lumine's hand, or stroking her bare shoulder in a way that made her skin crawl in the best possible way. His touch made her feel inexplicably vulnerable and she hated profusely that her cheeks turned so red so quickly.
Did he like her? Or was this just how he treated all people? After all, he is a magician and Lumine knew that he had to have charisma with his audience so… was she just another spectator of his show? That thought made her heart ache and there she realized that he was more than just a friend to her. In such a short time she had fallen for him and now she couldn't get him out of her head, but she had to act as if her heart wasn't beating almost out of her chest every time she encountered him and as if she didn't feel her tongue turning into a knot every time she talked to him. She had to ignore the fact that her legs felt like Mint Jelly and that her body stiffened uncomfortably when she was near him.
She was ridiculous really, but she couldn't help it. Even Paimon would make fun of her enough to make her ears turn red, but she couldn't help it. She liked him a lot, but she wondered if Lyney felt the same way.
It wasn't like she was going to ask him directly. She was brave enough to face the Order of the Abyss, but her hands were shaking like crazy just thinking about confessing her feelings to Lyney. That was simply an impossible task. Besides...she thought she could live without telling him. Even though she barely felt functional around him, she actually thought that Lyney didn't even suspect that she had feelings for him, so, there was really no need to tell him anything.
She would continue acting as always. Laughing at his silly words that made her heart skip a beat, applauding his tricks and searching for him like a moth searches for light... but, she was also aware that as time passed, her feelings grew more and more and she worried that one day they would come to iverflow. She couldn't allow it.
"Lyney!"
She couldn't allow it. She had to act as always. There was no other way.
"Ah, but that's the beautiful Lumine," Lyney said with a dazzling smile, taking off his hat and taking Lumine's hand respectfully before planting a kiss on the back of her hand. "You look ravishingly beautiful this morning. Were you looking for me for something?"
Self-control. Self control!
Lumine rolled her eyes, however, a smile curled the corners of her lips. "I was just passing by and I saw you and thought I'd say hello." Archons. Even she felt like she wasn't the one talking, but that didn't seem to be the case for Lyney, as he smiled widely, showing off his pretty teeth and his cheeks took on a reddish color.
How adorable.
"Well, I'm in luck," he said happily and Lumine narrowed her eyes slightly. "Hey, don't look at me like that! I mean it, it's always really nice to see a lovely traveler like you, too," he said and if he noticed how red Lumine's face was, she was glad he didn't mention anything. "I was just going to look for you! I created a new trick!"
A pang of disappointment spread through Lumine's chest, but she ignored it and moved her head to the side like a little bird. "A new trick? What is it? I hope it's nothing dangerous."
"It's not! It's really a very simple thing, would you like to be my pretty assistant?"
She could never say no to him, so she nodded, feeling a smile appear on her curious face. Lyney smiled as well and took Lumine's hand once more to guide her to a wooden chair near them. Lumine sat up, feeling butterflies in her stomach. Before letting go of her hand, Lyney kissed it again and finally placed it in her lap. Lumine pouted and with a flirtatious, childish laugh, Lyney spread her arms out to the sides, doing a graceful and quick spin, taking his hat from his head and showing the inside to Lumine. Seeing that it was empty, Lumine frowned.
"Dear assistant," Lyney said, taking Lumine's hand once more and slipping it into his empty hat. "Can you feel something inside my hat?"
Lumine shook her head. "I can't."
Lyney laughed softly. "Of course not, because what was inside my head is now on the left side of your head!"
Lumine's eyebrows almost met in the center. "The left side of my-" Reaching up, she was surprised to feel something on her head. She gently took whatever it was and widened her eyes when she saw a beautiful Rainbow Rose. She looked at the dazzling flower and then up to see at Lyney; a gasp escaped between her lips as she realized the magician was dangerously close to her. Their noses almost touching.
"A flower for you, beautiful assistant," she told him in a whisper and Lumine looked at him for a few more seconds before returning her eyes to the flower in her hand.
"T-Thank you," she said, clearing her throat. "It smells very- ack!"
"Ahahaha!"
She didn't know how, but right from the center of the flower, a stream of water had shot straight into her face. Lumine gasped, surprised by the attack as she heard Lyney's laugh, loud and clear. A beautiful sound that she would have enjoyed if her face didn't feel on fire.
"Oh, beautiful assistant," Lyney laughed, pulling a handkerchief from his pocket and pressing it tenderly against Lumine's face. "It was a little joke, I hope you weren't too upset. Did I scare you?"
Lumine looked at him with narrowed eyes, trying to ignore the fact that he was gently patting her cheek, and smirked.
So he wanted to play? She could definitely play.
"N-Now, assistant," he said with a shaky voice as Lumine rose to her feet, taking a step forward. "Are you angry? It was a little joke!" Lyney lifted his hands in front of him, his palms facing Lumine.
"Oh don't worry," she said, also raising her hands, her fingers wiggling, and she raised an eyebrow when his face turned completely red. "This is also a little joke!"
Lyney shrieked as Lumine started to chase him around. A wide smirk spread across Lumine's face as she giggled softly. This was fun, she thought.
"Gotcha!" She said, wrapping her arms around Lyney's waist, making them both fall with a loud thud. "Take this, Lyney!"
"AHAHAHAHA! No, Lumine! Plehehease!" His reaction was exactly what Lumine was expecting. She didn't know why, but he always struck him as a ticklish person, and she was right. Her fingers had barely made contact with his sides and he was already bursting out with loud, bright laughter.
Lyney squirmed like a little fish out of the water, his hat off his head, but Lumine held him easily in place by sitting on his lower back, her fingers going to room over his ribs.
"AHAHAHAH! Not tihihickling! Plehehease, PLEHEHEASE!"
"What's the matter? Are you not having fun?" She teased, giggling as he saw Lyney trying to catch her hands. "Don't you like my joke?"
"Nohoho! I hahahahate it! Ahahahanythihihing but thihihis!"
Lumine hummed, her cheeks red as she listened to Lyney laughing his head off. "You hate this? Then why are you laughing so much? You are so ticklish, did you know that? What's your weakest spot? Your ribs?"
Lyney banged his fists against the ground as Lumine massaged each of his ribs.
"Maybe your waist?"
Lyney jolted when Lumine squeezed his waist and she giggled, squeezing him there over and over again.
"LUHUHUMINE!" Lyney cackled. "I'm seheherious, I- ah!" They both froze.
Well that certainly was not a sound someone makes while being tickled, was it? Lumine gasped softly as she looked down at Lyney. She couldn't see his face since he was laying on his stomach, but she could see his ears and the back of his neck going red as he hid his face between his hands.
"W-What was that?"
"Nothing! I told you to stop, Lumine. Now get off or I'll-
"Do you like being tickled? Do you… enjoy it?" Lyney didn't make a sound and she felt her heart racing. "Hehe, you really like it, huh?"
What was going on? Was Lyney turned on because she was tickling him? This was dangerous. She wasn't sure if she should step over that line between friendship and something else, especially when something like this was happening but… it could be also a chance to show her true feelings to him, to let him know that she likes him more than a friend.
She wasn't going to throw away her shot.
She cleared her throat and feeling a little daring, she lightly dragged her fingertips up and down Lyney's bareback, making him tense up and gasp beautifully. She blushed.
"I could keep tickling you… only if you admit nicely that you like being tickled… even though 'like' sounds like an understatement, don't you think?"
She heard Lyney whining as he squirmed under her soft touches. His skin prickled with goosebumps and little giggles escaped from his lips whenever she touched a sensitive spot. If someone had told her that morning when she woke up that she was going to discover one of Lyney's (probably) darkest secrets, Lumine definitely wouldn't have believed it; but there they were, Lyney's hips grinding against the ground as Lumine lightly tickled his back, drawing zig zags down Lyney's spine and skittering her nails against his shoulder blades.
"So?" Lumine asked and she leaned down to Lyney's ear, her lips brushing against his ear when she spoke again. "Are you going to admit it, Lyney? It's easy, right? You'll get all the tickles you want just by saying that you like it."
"L-Lumine, I really-
"Hmm? You really what? Really want me to tickle you? C'mon then, say it." Her cheeks felt on fire, but something thrilling swirled inside her chest. This was… exciting. Warmth gathered between her legs as she blew cool air against Lyney's ear, making him squeak. "I feel like I really want to tickle you too, you know? Your laughter just now, ah, it was so, so cute. I want to hear more."
Lyney moaned and, leaning in a little closer, Lumine could see little tears clinging to his lashes. Archons, what a sight.
She smirked, placing a little peck against Lyney's earlobe. "You may not know this, but I'm really good at tickling. I always made my brother laugh until he was going crazy- wouldn't you like that? I think you'd really enjoy it, Lyney. You only have to-
"-ke it."
"Hmm?"
"I… like it… Lumine, I like it when I get tickled, please, tickle me more. Please. Please, please."
Lumine felt a shiver run down her spine. How fantastic.
"That wasn't so hard, was it?"
Lumine stood up and she nearly laughed when he saw Lyney's disappointed expression. She giggled, taking his hand and helping him up on shaky legs.
"Let's go somewhere more… private, hmm?"
Her Serenitea Pot materialized in front of them and Lyney's surprised expression as they got sucked into it really made her laugh. Once inside the pot, Lumine still held Lyney's hand and gently guided him inside her house. He was speechless, wide-eyed as he looked around, not quite understanding what was going on, but Lumine showed him around briefly, pointing here and there and explaining what was a Serenitea Pot as she felt her insides burning.
Heat gathered low under her belly button and she could feel herself leaking a bit. Her heart was pounding against her chest, causing her cheeks to blush. This was so exciting. Her fingers were itching to touch Lyney again and draw out more of those amazing sounds he was making just by having her lightly tickling him. She never expected Lyney, from all people in Teyvat, would like tickling that much, but she couldn't say it wasn't… cute. Hot even, yes… she wasn't sure how things would end, but she was looking forward to it.
Stopping in the middle of her room behind closed doors, Lumine, feeling braver than ever, wrapped her arms around Lyney's waist and, even though surprised, Lyney held her back.
"We're gonna have so much fun, Lyney," she whispered against Lyney's throat, relishing in the way his skin prickled with goosebumps. In the next second, she had her hands under Lyney's arms, fingers wiggling against his armpits.
Lyney's reaction was exactly what she expected: he shrieked before falling into loud, cackling laughter. Head thrown back and arms clamping to his sides as he unceremoniously fell back against the bed. Lumine took a comfortable seat above his hips and continued tickling him mercilessly.
"HAHAHA! Wahahait! WAHAHAIT!"
"I waited so much already," she said, smirking at him. "Would you move your arms, please?"
"I CAHAHAN'T!"
"Then I'll help you," she chuckled, pulling her hands out from under his arms and gathering a bit of Dendro elemental energy in the palm of her hand. Lyney saw attentively how a little green ball quickly divided in half and circled around his wrists before both his arms were pulled up above his head. Lyney shrieked, arching his back and looking up at Lumine with fear and excitement in his eyes.
Lumine licked her lips. "I really want to bully you right now, Lyney."
Lyney nodded and Lumine felt almost breathless as her fingers were back to Lyney's exposed armpits, digging and scribbling against the hypersensitive hollows, making Lyney scream with laughter.
Seeing Lyney squirming and laughing underneath her was truly a magnificent experience. She could make him scream with laughter like this and then moan pleasantly just by brushing her fingers against his hypersensitive skin. His face was a piece of art: skin resembling a bright red apple, mouth open wide in a big forced smile, eyes tightly shut and eyebrows furrowing. A mixture of forced cheerfulness and pleasure in his features.
"Are you liking this?" Lyney shook his head and Lumine chuckled. "Is that so?"
"ANGH!"
A loud moan escaped his lips when she sat back against his hardened cock. She felt him moving his hips, rubbing against her and Lumine bit her lips to prevent any sound from leaving.
"It seems to me that you are really enjoying it, Lyney. Are you lying to me right now? You know what happens to liars like you?"
"AHAHACK, n-nohoho plehease. Don't… stohop."
He whined, arching his back, reaching for that delicious sensation that Lumine's fingers made him feel, but she had stopped, pulling her hands apart and away from his sensitive body. Lyney cried and Lumine felt shivers running down her spine.
"Don't stop?" She asked, grinning dangerously at him. "Didn't you say you were hating it?" She lowered her face so close to his, their noses almost touching. "I do not wish to torture you, unless that is what you want of course."
Lyney whined again, tears clinging to his lashes. "P-Please, I was lying," he admitted, mouth open and reaching up as if he wanted to kiss her. "I want m-more, please. Tickle me more, Lumine. I'm be-gging."
Lumine gulped. Woah. She was going crazy. If they were going so far then a little kiss would be too…
"Hmm!"
Lumine felt Lyney flinch as she pressed her lips against his. She would not strike Lyney as the experienced one when it came to relationships, but she had to admit his kissing technique left nothing to be desired. He was so good at it, she felt dizzy as their tongues twirled and collided together and against each other.
He gasped. "Eek! Ah- wait- AHAHAHA!" She had never had someone laughing into her mouth, but wow. She drank all that laughter up as the most delicious thing her tongue had tasted as her nimble fingers were back to his armpits.
Lyney tried to keep kissing her, but he soon had to tilt his head back as loud laughter made his body shake again. Lumine then moved to her neck, kissing him under his jaw.
"PLEHEHASE! NOHOHOT THEHEHERE!" He begged, shaking his head and shrieking hysterically. "THAHAT'S- Thahat's my weheheakest spohohot! PLEHEHEASE, LUHUMINE!"
She really was going crazy. Her hips pressed down against his and she rubbed herself against his hard erection, finally moaning as her fingernails skittered against his underarms and his rich, vibrant and desperate laugher filled her ears.
"I'M BEHEHEGGING!" He cried, arching his back as he moaned when Lumine rubbed herself against him again.
"Not there?" She asked, licking his sharp jawline and nibbling at his ear. "Then where? Here?"
"HAHAHAHAH!" She could feel each of his ribs under her touch, so she made sure not to press too hard on them, not wanting to hurt Lyney and ruin his fun.
His laughter didn't seem to slow down at all and she thought she was being gentle enough as she vibrated her fingertips against the sensitive bones, feeling the muscles around them trembling at her touch.
"You seem very ticklish to me here as well," she teased, giggling as she found the set of ribs that had him shrieking hysterically. "I think your whole body is your weakest spot, Lyney."
"I CAHAHAN'T!" He howled with laughter, hips bucking against Lumine, making them both moan and whine. "Plehehease! PLEHEHEASE LUHUMINE!"
She moaned, grinding against him. "Please what? Use your words, Lyney."
But he could barely do so as she kept tickling him mercilessly, hands leaving his ribs and moving towards his tummy and, even though it was very covered by his clothes, the effect was just as good as if his stomach were bare. She bucked again and Lumine saw stars as he pressed against her leaking cunt. She moaned and as her hands were clawing against Lyney's tummy, she whined.
“You really had to wear this, huh?”
“I'm sohohorry!” He giggled, now a bit calmer after Lumine moved to his tummy. “I loohohok sohoho goohod in thihis!”
Lumine chuckled. “You really do,” she said as she momentarily stopped tickling him completely to get rid of his clothes. He giggled as he saw her struggling to open his bodysuit and as punishment she tickled him as much as she could until she managed to have him naked. His cock standing up, so painfully erect, wet and slightly red at the tip.
“Someone's really enjoying his tickles,” she teased as she reached out for Lyney's erection.
“Nngh, Lumine!” He gasped, arching his back and pulling at his arms as she stroked him up and down. “W-Wait, I'm gonna-”
“You're gonna cum? So fast you're gonna cum?” Lumine stroked him again, slowly, making Lyney sob as he moved his hips like crazy. “Do you want me to go faster?”
He nodded desperately, babbling out a ‘please’, a string of saliva dripping from his chin. He looked so beautifully wrecked, Lumine couldn't take it anymore. She gulped and quickly lifted the skirt of her dress, taking her wet underwear off. She sat against Lyney's hard cock and both moaned. Lumine could feel him pulsing and twitching against her slit and she tightened her pussy, wanting to take him in whole, but she held herself back and looked down at him with a smirk.
“What should I do, Lyney? Should tickle you or should I let you fuck me?”
“L-Lumine,” he whined, gasping as he felt the humid warmth between Lumine's legs. “Let me put it in, pl-please?”
Ah, this was dangerous, Lumine thought as she looked at his dazed, teary eyes. There was a small chance that Lyney didn't really feel the same Lumine felt for him and he only wanted to satisfy his own needs… That small possibility scared her because everything that was happening at that moment not only weighed on her body, but also on her heart. If she continued, that meant she was going to be intimate with the person that had stolen her heart; exciting but also terrifying.
“Is that… a no, L-Lumine?”
He really had no idea the things he made Lumine feel. And she kind of hated him for that, but that density of his also was cute and ugh! Lumine felt tears clinging to her lashes as she raised herself up a bit to position Lyney's cock right at her entrance.
“Get ready, Lyney,” she warned and with that she sat against him again. Gasping and moaning, she felt Lyney's hard cock penetrating her, slowly so as to not hurt herself and she cross-eyed when he hit a tender spot within her.
“L-Lumiiiinnee,” Lyney babbled, pulling at his arms and circling his hips. “Move, please. Move. Move. Move!” He begged, but Lumine held still. Simply sitting on him, trying to get used to the warmth and the hardness filling up to her stomach. She only moved her hands that grabbed Lyney's waist and started squeezing him there.
“NO! N-NOHOHO! I wahahant to cuhuhum, PLEHEHASE!”
“Oh, you will cum, Lyney,” she promised as she finally started to move her hips. A cacophony of laughter, moans, and soft cries filled Lumine's ears and she felt overwhelmed with pleasure. Her hands and legs were trembling and the heat pooling under her belly button was increasing the more Lyney laughed and the tip of his cock hit that wonderful spot inside her. She was going to cum soon, she knew it and by Lyney's cries she knew he was close too.
“I'M CUMMING! S-Stop tickling me, stopticklingmeI'mgonnacum- agh!”
Lumine moaned as his seed filled her insides. Lyney's penis trembled and pulsated inside her as he came. His body shook heavily as he tilted his head back with a loud, teary moan. Lumine felt her skin covering I'm goosebumps, her nipples hardening under her clothes, she was close. She was so close, just a bit more, just a bit-
“STOPTICKLINGME! AHAHAHA!”
Hearing his hysteria, Lumine reached for his underarms again and Lyney screamed with desperate laughter as she rode him still, milking him until she finally reached her peak and Lyney was cackling silently. She tensed her body and finally released, trembling all over and moaning so loud as her fingers weakly kept tickling Lyney to make him see stars.
She felt like she came for a long time, she was dizzy and could barely hear anything aside from the blood pumping behind her ears. When she finally came back from her high, she stopped tickling Lyney, seeing his face was unhealthy red as he shook silently. Lumine collapsed against his chest, the Dendro energy around Lyney's wrists disappearing and she flinched slightly when he hugged her tightly.
“Maybe you haven't noticed," he said once he calmed down and caught his breath, “but I really, really like you, Lumine. More than a friend, of course.”
Lumine lifted her head quickly and Lyney squeaked at the sudden movement, his lips trembling in a nervous smile.
“You could've said so sooner and I wouldn't be stressing like this!”
“I'm- I'm sorry! I didn't know how to- wait, does that mean that you- AHAHAHA! N-No nohoho plehehease! Let me tahahahalk! NOHOHOT THEHERE! I juhuhust cahahame!”
“And you'll be coming again, Lyney!”
She tried to ignore the amazing warmth spreading inside her chest as if thick honey was being poured in her insides. There was no word existing in this world that could describe how happy she was, but she hoped the tender kiss she was giving to him at that moment could let him know that she also really, really liked him and that she was not ready to let him go any time soon!

Hello, whats your opinion on this as a mai fan
I think this person is either misremembering the show or deliberately mischaracterizing what Mai, because what they're claiming she revealed on The Beach is the COMPLETE OPPOSITE of what she actually said.
She doesn't say "My parents used me as a pawn in their game to get close to royals" or "My parents never wanted me to learn anything about combat." She tells us that her parents will let her do whatever she likes - as long as she BEHAVES. As long as she's invisible. Out of sight, out of mind. They don't care what she does, as long as it doesn't affect them, as long as she's quiet. And that's what she says in an attempt to DOWNPLAY how bad her relationship with them actually is and how it affected her emotionally.
When Mai is complaining that she doesn't like Omashu because there's nothing for her to do, her mom doesn't try to talk to her about activities that could keep her busy/entertained, or show any concern about how she's adapting to moving to a whole new country, to a city where she doesn't know anyone. Instead, she ignores her daughter's attempts to talk about her feelings by reminding her that this is important for her father. There's no attempt to make this situation benefitial for her as well, it's all about how she needs to be grateful that someone else is happy about it.
Yes, when Tom-Tom is "kidnaped", they won't stop panicking, and are overjoyed when he's brought back safely. But there's not a word on them being concerned over Mai's well-being when she's leaving in a potentially dangerous mission. They don't show up to congratulate her at any point after she helps the Fire Nation conquer Ba Sing Se, even though that is a legendary feat. Favoritism much?
In book 3, literally the only adults we see in her home are servants, and considering one needs an airship to go to the island where the boiling rock is, it's pretty safe to say her uncle can't be dropping by too often. They let their 15-year-old daughter live in a different country, without any adult acting as her guardian - that's how much they don't care about her.
And speaking of her uncle, yes, he is doing a good job of being an attentive family member (is aware of her situation with Zuko, immediately lets her out of prison the second he knows he can get away with it) - but using that to claim "Thefore her family life is fine" is absurd because, again, that's her UNCLE, not her parents. By that logic, Zuko shouldn't be complaining about his family either, after all he has Iroh and somehow that is supposed to cancel out being raised by freaking Ozai, riiiiiiight?
And speaking of Zuko, there's a reason why, in a finale where everyone is being reunited with their family and friends, even when the travel time doesn't make any goddamn sense, Mai's happy ending involves a heartwarming reuining with him, and he's delighted to see her - but there's still nothing about her parents. Their daughter was sent to prison for life, then her boyfriend became Fire Lord giving them THE perfect chance to come rescue her, and they STILL are nowhere to be found.
For fuck's sake, AZULA showed more love for Mai than her parents did. Girl was clearly happy to see her again, and even gave her a "hug" that wasn't that touchy because Mai doesn't like it. In "The Lost Adventures" we find out that she was also the one who pushed for her and Zuko to get together (though that also ties into her knowing that was the only way to make Zuko come home despite his guilt over what he did to Iroh). Even on The Beach, she's the one who first connects the dots and realizes that Mai is always so aloof because she's used to being told to shut up when she says something inconvenient.
Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not saying her parents had no political ambitions (the Yang comics leaning into that was one of the few good things about his writting). Obviously they were happy that their daughter was best friends with the princess and dating the heir to the throne, and I'm sure Mai didn't appreciate being treated more as asset than as a daughter.
But her complaint was not about that. It was about how her parents are simply not part of her life at all. She's an outsider looking in. She can stand next to them and do as she's told, or she can leave. What she can't do is actually engage with them, mean anything to them, expect anything from them, rely on them at all.
Mai's parents are neglectful to a degree that, in the real world, could potentially have them lose custody of her because she consistently has to turn to literally anyone else instead of them whenever she needs anything.
Is it really any wonder she had a soft-spot for Zuko, aka the boy that is always disregarded by his father, to the point of literally being kicked out of his home, and is actually openly pissed off about it and will let everyone know it?

when and how might our relationship start ?
pairing: zb1 maknae line x gn!reader warnings: ricky's and your mom are just ANNOYING🤬, GYUVIN AND READER ADE LIARS, pining gunwook, yujin has communication issues, the reader in yujins is considered a CHILD (if you ain't a child dni tf?), english isn't my first language!!! genre: fluff, maybe a slight bit of angst if you squint your eyes real hard synopsis: why you started fake dating. notes: i know i said I'm only gonna write for mline + matthew from now on but honestly fuck matthew (lovingly). FUNFACT gyuvins is basically what happened to me 😍😍 life is a fanfic fr. for some reason i am not aware of i included some smau... maybe my urge to write one finally took over? who knows. ignore the bad quality pls.
shen quanrui - to get your parents off of your backs
it was basically like this: rickys family and your family knew each other for decades now. your moms were already besties when they went to s highschool together 😭
so best believe they were THRILLED when they got pregnant around the same time
and since day 1
seriously. since ricky and you were little INFANTS
you two were being shipped by your parents
"oh, they must marry one day!" 🥰 no
you two grew up together and were naturally really close to each other
but ROMANTIC FEELINGS? nuh uh. not a thing. not happening 🙅🏻‍♀️🙅🏻‍♀️
but your parents- or more specifically, your mothers- did not want to hear it
they're CONVINCED you two will fall in love eventually and won't leave you two alone
after years of suffering and repeated "no mom we're not gonna be dating!"s you two hit your LIMIT
so you two went ahead and decided to get your family off of your backs and to start 'dating'!
only to 'break up' like a month later and tell them that you actually aren't a good fit at all🔥
your parents literally threw a big ass party once you announced your relationship… awkward
Tumblr media
kim gyuvin - to prank your friends
you actually thought it would be funny to tell your friends that you two started dating; they wouldn't believe at all you but it would be hilarious
hilarious you said. TURNS OUT, it wasn't all that funny
instead of not believing you when gyuvin and you dropped that bomb as believable as possible, they started cheering and congratulating you
"we knew this would happen eventually! finally!" you what. 😃
originally you planned on playing the prank for one day and then tell the truth- but by the way everybody started congratulating you (even a teacher exclaimed that she was happy for you!) you two couldn't help but feel incredibly bad at the end of the day
so you two did the only plausible thing to do in a situation like that; continue on lying instead of simply telling the truth 👍🏻
the very next day you two came to school again, still as a couple. it hurt your heart to lie to your friends like that, but they would be SO disappointed in you if they found out about the joke :(
Tumblr media
park gunwook - to make your crush jealous
gunwook was a close friend of yours and he was aware of your unrequited crush on that one guy in your class
well, kind of unrequited? it was honestly hard to tell for sure. your crush sometimes acted like he was interested in you, on other days you didn't even exist to him
his mixed signals drove you CRAZY🥴
so out of pure desperation you asked gunwook for a small favor.. to please fake date you in order to make your crush jealous
AND REVEAL HIS TRUE FEELINGS!!!
gunwook was reluctant at first but he also had a small but secret crush on you so he took his chance and RAN
you had like an hour long talk to him about your great plan, about do's and don't's, about boundaries and what not
he was just silently listening and nodding his head whenever needed
(his heart shattering could be heard whenever you mentioned your real crush) 💔💔💔
you let your other close friends know about your plan too in hopes they will help to make it believable
Tumblr media
han yujin - to prove that he is not a 'child'
poor yujin has to go through that 'youngest in the friendgroup' treatment 😪
everybody treats him like a baby and he feels as if he's not taken seriously by any of his friends
bro should probably try COMMUNICATING with them homies but oh well
and in his mind, the ultimate proof to not being a baby is having a significant other 👍🏻
and this is where you come in!!
you're one of the very few people who did not make fun of him- maybe because of your similar age- and that's why he felt save to propose that idea to you
and considering that you weren't taken all that seriously either due to your age… he was sure that you would understand where he was coming from!!
and to his delight you actually agreed to fake date him! 🤗
so after discussing everything further, you two announced your not-so-real relationship to your friends the very next day
YUJIN'S PLAN WORKED! there was gyuvin who dramatically whined about "his two babies growing up way too fast"
but the question now is… for how long should this keep going…?

I don't know if you have done this before. Can you do a NSFW Scenario with Jack and a virgin female? like he finds out that she is a virgin and is really soft with her?
Popping Cherrys | Jack the Ripper x Reader | NSFW
No, I'm honestly surprised, but I think I haven't written about Jack popping someone's Cherry. Sigh, disappointed with myself. Good that you mentioned it, sweet anon!
Warnings: Smut under the cut, cherry popping, p in v, fluffy Jack, a bit awkward starter reader
Tumblr media
Having Jack as your boyfriend was... Interesting. He was a touchy person, not all too aware of the concept of "personal space". Or he just really liked to invade these spaces. Maybe both.
His behavior made it obvious you couldn't keep your innocence a secret for too long. When Jack found out, he was a little surprised. Not that he thought it was bad, quite the opposite.
You felt a little odd, knowing Jack had experience. It wasn't like he ever was shy or embarrassed of his history. Even less with you and when you asked questions. If anything, he reveled in the way your cheeks heated up and you got embarrassed all of a sudden.
Thinking back on it, he probably should've made the connection of you being a virgin sooner, given your reactions to certain topics and moments. He just figured such a pretty lady would've had enough chances before him. And you probably had, he was just shocked that he was the one you'd take.
Taking the step to start having sex was something you had to initiate. Jack tried his best to be patient, settling for hugs, or an arm around you whenever he could. The tall captain did not want to put any pressure on you, if you wanted to eventually have sex with him that was fine. Having your heart was already way more than he had thought possible for himself.
Your first time happened after a night out with Jack. The mood was good and light and you already often slept together, or more like slept in the same bed together. As you settled down happy giggles and jokes were shared, playful kisses teasing upon the other's lips.
A little making out, a bit bolder than usual but nothing too new. Jack was laying down on his back, having you above him. His one hand on the small of your bag while the other was playing with your hair. His boner was poking against your ass, although this time didn't make you nervous. It happened a lot before too, Jack would always laugh and tell you to ignore it.
It wasn't like he could control him but one boner wouldn't kill him. Especially if he got more kisses.
Just today, the heat between your legs was making you bold. Not only thinking but actually acting on it. You slowly started to rock your hips back and forth on his, enjoying the hard outline of his cock and how it made you feel when it rubbed against that special spot between your legs.
Jack let out a startled groan, eyes opened wide in suprise as he stared up at you. A shy smile creeping on your lips in response. "Is this okay?", you whispered. Jack felt his throat tighten, his mouth running dry as he started nodding softly, without even thinking about it. "More than okay, keke.", he responded after a moment.
His hands slowly settled on your hips, slight pressure on his fingertips digging into the supple flesh as he supported your movements. Your breath shuddered, your lips meeting his eager ones again.
There was something nice about this, about feeling the heat and sensation of just dryly humping on your boyfriends twitching but still clothed cock. The way your lips pressed against one anothers, the shaky breaths between.
When you pulled back, Jack opened his eyes again. The golden hue almost completely hidden behind the black of his dialated pupils. Jack started up at you like you've put up the stars and the moon in the nightsky. Like you were a goddess that simply allowed him to gaze at her beauty, barely sure if he was allowed to actually grasp you, feel you.
A light chuckle escaped you. "Are you okay?", you asked softly, biting your lip. Something about how his breathing had changed, how his chest moved up and down more rapidly while his eyes started at you with a few strands of messy hair covering parts of them.
"Not gonna lie, I'm so fuckin' horny right now.", he whispered before laughing. "What kind of spell did you put me under?" "Love, perhaps?" "... You're cheesy, keke."
Both of you shared a little laugh at that. You tilted your head, pursing your lip and trying to grasp the tension from before. "So... Would you like to?..." "To...?", Jack questioned. "... Do... something... about our lust?"
Jack stared blankly at you for a long while. "... That has to be the weirdest way of asking someone to pop your cherry I've yet heard of.", he muttered before chuckling. "Yes. I'd like to, if you're sure.", he added quickly before the weirdness of the moment could force you to back out.
"I...-", you started, "I think... I thought about it for a while. Just... be careful, yeah? I'm not too sure how... to... well, what to do with myself." Jack nodded at your admission, thumb gently massaging the spot where his fingertips firmly grasped your skin earlier.
"Come here...", he whispered before pulling you down by the neck. His grasp was firm but not forceful. He tilted his head a little sideways before kissing you again, this time the kiss had more urgency and purpose. Although still a bit nervous, you couldn't help but like how delicate his one hand was running up your hip and to your back, and sooner than later you were melting into his kisses again.
As you shared more and more kisses, you felt Jack's hands slowly adventure to your sides again before going up to grasp one of your breasts. He stroked and massaged through the fabric of your clothes, ensuring you'd be fine and comfortable with the action. Then he slowly and almost teasingly pulled down the cutout of your top, his fingers grazing while your nude flesh was revealed to him.
The biggest grin spread on his lips as the soft sounds of your pleasure reached his ears when he gently pinched and teased your nipple. He made sure to play gently with it, pulling at your clothes so both of your breasts would get the same amount of love from him. Picking favorites would be rude, after all.
"Does that feel good, lovebug?", he asked in a quiet whisper, his lips grazed your neck and you could feel his breath against your shivering skin. "Yeah...", you nodded. "Good", he cooed, "tell me if I do something that doesn't feel good."
The tall man kissed down your neck, over your collarbone down to where his lips would join his teasing fingers. His long tongue pressed flat against your nipple before wrapping his lips around and gently sucking. Your fingers wrapped in his hair, grip tightening and pulling at his hair causing him to groan against your perky bud.
After a few more moments, he pulled away, grabbing your top and lifting it a little to gesture that he wanted to take it off. "Can I?", he asked. You only nodded, nervous excitement bubbling in your stomach. Not a second after your given consent the clothing was pulled off and thrown onto the ground next to the bed.
Drinking in the sight of your bare chest, his eyes practically sparkled. Adoration and lust in his gaze swirling like waves in a honeyed ocean. "You're perfect", his raspy voice breathed out.
"Simply...", he started, licking his lips as his mind searched for a word fitting enough to describe you, "... divine." Your breath hitched when the word finally got uttered by him. It wasn't exactly unlike Jack to praise you, show his affection verbally too but it was unusual for him to use these kinds of words. Fancy words, as he'd put it.
But in this moment, he didn't care, didn't care that the words he spoke were unfitting for him because they were the only ones worthy to be used when putting you into perspective. What you were to him, how you made him feel.
The shy smile grazing your lips made Jack grin in delight too. He was leaning more forward, more and more until you fell back on the bed with him above you, your positions flipped. A moment later your lover had lost his shirt too, coming down to kiss you. His torso pressed on yours, feeling your hot skin against his.
The urgency shared betwen your lips was mutual. It wasn't simply lust anymore, it was need, need to be closer, closer than ever before. To be one.
Your hands explored Jack, going through his hair in a familiar motion before creeping down and over his back, nails digging little red stripes over his pale skin. Feeling the muscles flex and ripple with each of his movements.
At this point it became like a dance, like a trance. You stepped through the motions, discarding of your pants and his. Your head felt dizzy, fuzzy and you weren't even sure how it got to the point when both of you were fully naked on the bed with him laying between your legs.
Although you were very aware of it, and how it felt different from the clothed dry humping from before. The way his tip would graze your clit, pulling out loud moans. Installing a feeling deep within your loins, like something was missing. Your walls clamping around nothing in desperation. Suddenly, everything was on fire, all hot and you felt like Jack above you was a burning fire saving you from a cold snowstorm.
You moaned out for the man above you subconsciously. His name spilling from your lips and seeping into his mind. Jack would never forget, how his name sounded from your lips in that moment, echoing from the walls and burning into the deepest pits of his brain.
Although something deep within him screamed at him to push inside, feel your walls cling to him as he'd pound you into the mattress, he restrained. His lips sloppily kissed yours, rubbing his twitching cock through your velvety folds, enjoying the sensation for just a moment longer. Your mewls and moans like chants for him to keep going.
He pulled his hips back slowly, groaning at the lost sensation before chuckling at your big doe eyes staring at him. Wondering if you did something wrong, but mostly just confusion sparkling in your eyes as to why he had stopped. Why he had robbed you of this sensation that had just made you crave more.
Although cute, your expression didn't last very long. The confusion shifted when his long fingers took the place where his cock had previously been rubbing against you. Running between your labia and toying with your clit, making sure his fingers were plenty wet before slowly easing one finger in, then a second one.
His lips latched onto your neck, soft kisses placed and praise whispered against your skin. His fingers moved slowly, rhythmically. Working your hole open, preparing for the stretch.
"Good girl," he whispered, "Does it feel good?" Jack had his ears sharpened, looking out for each sound. Each gasp, moan, or mewl registered in his mind. Only picking up the pace of his fingers when he felt you relax enough, curling his fingers upwards.
His cock ached, oozing precum onto the bed as he learned what made you squirm. The tall mans lips sucked marks into your neck, moaning against the red and purple spots in lust whenever your hips bucked into his touch so eagerly.
Patience wasn't Jack's fortune but he'd finger you until his cock would wilt off if it meant he'd get to hear your pleasure like this forever. With each moan, each whine your lover got more and more eager to please. Pleasuring you to the edge, his tongue licking a long stripe from the marks up to your ear. A husky moan escaping him as he felt how your walls clenched around his fingers.
"Like this?", he whispered, tone of voice so cocky normally it'd make your eyes roll in annoyance although it was anything but annoyance that made your eyes roll back right now. "Just like that," you whined out, pleasure too great to be embarrassed by the tone of your voice. Jack nodded, kissing the side of your face softly, peppering kisses while his fingers were working.
The pace of his fingers unchanging as your walls clenched and tightened around him like they had a mind of their own. His fingers only slowed when your release hit, working you through it but careful not to overstimulate and hurt you. Slowly, he pulled them back out, smiling happily at the cute gasp coming from you.
"Good?", he asked, eyes twinkling in delight as you nodded, still a bit dazed. He let you catch your breath, realizing the situation and getting your mind out of the gutter a bit. When you looked back up at him, he couldn't help himself but laugh from your face.
Jack was licking off your release from his fingers, tongue eagerly tasting and the tall man couldn't help but chuckle when you looked at him in shock.
"What? It's good." The unbothered tone in his voice made you chuckle too. Eyeing the tall man you called your lover up, it was clear he was content, the tip of his cock leaking onto the bedsheets but he looked just as satisfied. His eyes followed your gaze before looking back at your flustered face. He raised an eyebrow, wondering what was going on in your mind.
"Do you... want to... go further?" Now, this question surprised Jack. "Do you?", he asked, staring at your face. While yes, the tall man would die to sleep with you right now, he didn't want you to think you "owed" it to him. If he had to, he'd wait a thousand years for you. Well, maybe not a thousand, patience really wasn't his thing, but maybe a hundred. Or longer than right now.
However, that didn't matter as your head nodded yes, that you wanted to go further. Wanted him, in all ways, not wanting to wait any longer.
Jack quickly positioned himself above you again, kissing you softly. The pace was slower now, less urgent but more intimate. His body rubbing against yours, working you up slowly. He made sure his cock was wet with your slick.
Slowly, he pushed inside, feeling your arms around him clinging to him. Jack leaned his forehead against yours, making sure to watch your reaction and pause whenever it got too much for you. Gently he kissed your cheeks, your lips and the tip of your nose, soft praises uttered from his lips to soothe you.
He waited a few moments after sliding the last inches in, letting you get settled with the stretch of it. Only when you nodded to assure him, he started moving slowly. Easing himself out before pushing back in. Slowly, working it up, pulling out a bit further each time.
Soon enough both of you were moaning, lips smashed against each other and Jack had to clutch the bedsheets beside you to remind himself to keep it gentle, keep it slow, and give it to you like you deserve. The rhythm now was steady, gently rocking the bed a little back and forth. One hand beside you on the bed while the other toyed with your clit to ease you further into the new sensation.
A sly smile was on his lips, the tall man was reveling in the way of how the sounds coming from your mouth were more and more motivated with pleasure. Your lover bit his lip, doing a bit of algebra in his mind to postpone his orgasm, not wanting to bust too soon after you started properly enjoying the act of making love with him.
Only when your toes curled and he felt the familiar flutter of your walls around him, did he let his shoulders relax. Jack rocked his hips more sloppily into yours, trying not to be erratic as he worked you both over the edge. A moment after your release he pulled out, a few jerks of his hand before white streaks of arousal were painted on your stomach.
For a moment, there was only the sound of your heavy breathing through the silence. Your eyes stared at the sticky release on your stomach before looking up at Jack. Jack looked a bit sheepish. "I wasn't sure if you wanted me inside...", he admitted before chuckling. "I'm gonna get you a cloth."
Your lover pressed a kiss to your forehead before standing up and leaving through the door to his bathroom. Only a moment later he came back with a wet wash cloth. He gently wiped you down, peppering more kisses to your face.
"How was it?", he asked. "Hurt a little...", you admitted "I'm sorry, lovebug." "No... It felt really good after... Just, the first few moments..."
Jack chuckled, nodding. "I can imagine." His voice was soft as he pressed another soft kiss to your lips. "How was it for you?", you asked quietly. Jack looked a bit suprised before laughing.
"Do you want me to be honest, snugglebug?" Although this sentence set a bit of anxiety in your tummy, you nodded. "If I ever say something that is less than 'perfect', I want you to kill me. Because somebody has stolen my identity."
The sentence made you feel warm and fuzzy. You wrapped your arms around your lover when he laid back down next to you. "You're stupid", you giggled. "And you're cute", the tall man replied amused.

Daryl & Daugther!Reader - Quarry Era II
Tumblr media
Had this in my drafts for ages. I started writing and never finished, but I decided to post anyway. Thank you for all the love on Part 1! I'm sorry I'm not much of a writer to keep this storyline going :( Words: 1591 Warnings: Nightmares Gif not mine Chapter song is Fix You by Coldplay
Part I
"And the tears come streaming down your face, when you lose something you can't replace."
It's been a while since the three of them started the walk back to camp, which was proving to be especially hard for the girl. After the adrenaline went off, the pain on her feet and legs were becoming almost unbearable. With each step she got slower and felt weaker. A headache making its way over her head, probably a mix of pain, hunger and lack of sleep.
Before heading back to camp Daryl offered her water, which she accepted desperately. Even though she was happy the thirst was over, her growling stomach didn't let her forget the days without anything to eat. She didn't mention that, already thankful for the water. However, the girl's skinny body gave Daryl an idea of how hungry she must be.
Daryl and Merle didn't hunt anything, both too focused on the deer, so he made a mental note to feed her as soon as they got to camp. Daryl also tried to take a better look at her wounds, but she didn't let him. He didn't push and decided this was a job for Lori or Carol. They were the mothers of the group and the girl would feel safe with them, he thought.
"She's slowing us down man, if we don't speed up we're going to lose sunlight. This girl is like a damn walker bait. Hell, I can smell her blood from here." Merle complained again.
"I get it Merle! Stop whining alrigh?" Daryl said before approaching the kid.
She had been trailing behind them the whole time, never sparing them a glance and looking almost ready to bolt in the opposite direction at any moment. All of a sudden, Daryl realized that they didn't know her name.
"What's yer name kid?" She looked up at him with wide eyes.
"Y/n." She said, voice almost a whisper.
"Alrigh', Y/n. Look, someone has to check yer wounds and for that we need to get to the camp but ya can barely walk…" Y/n knew he was right. She was scared to let him do anything with her wounds, afraid it would make it hurt even more. But the girl knew that it would only get worse if they didn't get there faster.
"What if I carry ya?" Daryl proposed. "We'll get to the folks faster and everything's gonna be okay." Daryl looked at her expectantly, while Merle was still mumbling some nonsense he chose to again ignore.
Y/n pounded for a moment. She didn't know this guy, even though he seemed to be making an effort to at least make her feel less scared. The same couldn't be said about the other guy, his brother. Even with Daryl's effort, she wasn't sure if trusting him was the right decision. However, it's not like she had any other choice at the moment.
Y/n looked up at Daryl and nodded her head. He handed his crossbow to Merle and picked the girl up. She felt so light and Daryl couldn't help but wonder how long she was alone out there, without food and water.
Y/n wrapped one of her arms around Daryl's neck, looking for something to hold on to. It was weird, how she didn't even know this man but felt safe in his arms. After being alone for months, she really wanted to believe someone good was going to help her.
Daryl arranged the girl in his arms and resumed their walking, Merle leading the way with Daryl's crossbow, aware of any danger.
Tumblr media
They arrived at the camp a couple hours later and Daryl came in calling for the first person he saw, which in that case was Lori. "Daryl, oh my god??? Who is that?"
Daryl immediately felt Y/n's arms wrap harder around him. "It's fine kid, don't worry."
"We found her in the woods, alone and hurt."
Minutes later, the whole camp was reunited outside the RV while Lori and Carol were inside with Y/n. The girl felt more at ease with them, like Daryl imagined. But she was still unsure about everything and everyone.
After they treated her wounds and helped her clean up, Daryl brought some of the squirrel from his last hunt along with more food from the camp. Being clean and fed, it was like Y/n could finally think straight again.
Yours later, everyone started to retreat to their tents for the night. Inside the RV, Y/n tried to stay awake, her brain still on alert for some reason. But after a while her body started to give up and she fell asleep to the sounds of the dying conversation outside.
“It will be okay my baby, just run and don’t look back, okay?”
“But mom, what about you?”
“I’ll be right behind you, go!” The little girl ran, but she couldn't help looking back. However, when she did, it made sense why her mother told her not to.
Screams, that’s what Daryl woke up to. He jumped out of his tent and saw Shane, Glenn and Dale outside the RV. “What the hell happened?”
“It 's Y/n.” Shane said “Lori is-” As if on cue, Lori leaves the RV. And to everyone's surprise, she smiled at Daryl.
“She’s asking for you, Daryl.” Daryl looked at Lori as if she had grown another head but entered the RV anyway.
“Hey kid, what's up?” Y/n was sitting in bed, death grip on the blanket and scared look on her face.
“I miss my mom” Daryl didn't know what to say, he didn't understand why she would want him there of all people. “Could you stay here until I fall back asleep?”
To be honest, Y/n didn't want to sleep, not if that meant another nightmare, but her body didn't give her any choice. Daryl saved her, his presence made her feel safe, so maybe he could help the bad dreams go away. Daryl was still confused, but he simply sat down in the chair close to the door and nodded his head, watching as the girl laid down, closing her eyes and falling asleep once again.
Tumblr media
The first week went by smoothly, Y/n couldn't think about anything other than sleep. Her body begging for rest in order to heal. She didn't talk much, still overwhelmed with the new environment and everything that happened, but slowly feeling more at ease with everyone. Amy was the one to bring her food the days she stayed in bed. Lori or Carol would brush her long hair after she washed up. Glenn and Dale would make her laugh with silly jokes. Andrea and Jacqui would help change her bandages. Daryl would always check on her at the end of the day. He didn't say much, only put his head inside the RV, saw her asleep and then went to his tent.
The second week was better, she was stronger and more active. However, the nightmares still hunted her at night. Since Y/n got in the camp, Carl and Sophia were anxious to talk with her. But she was weak and scared so the adults held them back. When she started feeling better, spending her days sitting in the staircase of the RV and watching the camp, Carl approached her. With everything that happened Y/n didn't really had the time to think about the other kids at camp. She knew Sophia was Carol's daugther and Carl was Lori's, but they never talked and she suddently felt nervous. It's been ages since she last talked with someone her age.
"Hi, I'm Carl. You're Y/n, right?"
"Yeah.." Y/n smiled awkwardly.
"Shane's going to teach me how to grab frogs, you wanna come too?"
Y/n apreciated the invitation but she couldn't help but ask "Why would you want to grab frogs?"
Carl seemed like he wasn't expecting the question but answered anyway "Well, it's just funny, they jump so high trying to run away" he said with a little laugh "But we release them right after, Shane says they probably taste really bad to eat."
Y/n was the one ot laugh this time, for sure she wouldn't want to eat a frog.
"Okay, it seems fun" Y/n said looking at the boy in front of her.
"Yes! It's going to be really fun, I'll tell Shane you're coming" Y/n laughed again seeing the boy excitement, she couldn't help but feel it too. After the last stressful weeks, it was good to have some distraction.
Y/n met Sophia a couple nights after her frong hunt with Carl and Shane. The camp was having dinner and since she started feeling better, she started to have dinner outside with the others. The first night she went straight to Daryl, he and Merle sitting around a fire further from the main camp. In the short time Y/n was there she could notice how they differed from the rest of the camp. Her, as well, felt unsure, not of Daryl but his brother. The first night she left the RV and went to Daryl, Merle looked at her they same way he looked at her back in the woods. Like she was an walker bait. Daryl didn't showed much affection towards her, at least not in clear eyes. But he silently made sure she was fed and safe every single day, most of the others from the camp would not notice most of the time, but he did and Y/n knew it.

All Yandere's reactions to you giving them the silent treatment!
Requested by an anon
— The Detective
Charlie is a rather cold-hearted yandere, if he upset you, he wouldn't care too much.
That being said, he wasn't actually aware he upset you this time— after all, you've never reacted like this before.
He's almost happy about it, getting to see a new reaction out of you. Interesting as always.
'Two can play at that game,' is his thought process, not talking to you or paying you much mind outside of his usual stalking activities.
The Detective really didn't expect you to keep ignoring him for this long, but now it's been a week, and his irritation is starting to show.
His work focus is starting to wane, which is rare for him, but his brain is taken up by intrusive thoughts of worry. He's fine with you being petty for now— but what if you never talk to him again?
What if you try to talk to someone else?!
No, Charlie couldn't handle all his work on you being undone. He'll have to do something.
You find yourself cornered in your home, his arms by your sides as he glares you up and down.
'What do I need to do for you to acknowledge me again, huh?'
You try to move your head away, but he grabs you by the chin and forces you to look at him.
'Just... I just want you to apologise,' you tell him.
'Fine.' He bites his tongue and swallows his pride, refusing to meet your eye. 'I'm sorry. Are you going to talk to me, now?'
'Are you going to let go of me?'
'Youre pushing your luck, sweetie.'
— The Childhood Friend
· She's completely paranoid from the second you start not answering her questions.
This is out of character for you, you wouldn't do this to the one person who's looking out for you, would you?
Eli knows her questioning can be invasive, but whatever hit a nerve with you was only essential knowledge for her! She couldn't live with herself if someone else knew something she didn't— but she's also struggling with the guilt she feels over pushing you on it.
'There's nothing to worry about, okay? There's nobody listening, so just talk to me, already!' She'll plead endlessly.
She doesn't want to blame herself— that would mean she's a bad friend, a bad lover! No, no, it has to be someone elses fault.
So that's what The Childhood Friend leads with, and goes out of her way to construct a fake narrative where someone is clearly manipulating you into not talking to her.
How could she have been so foolish as to let this happen? I guess that means she'll have to keep you on an even tighter leash, for now.
It's all for your protection, of course! No-one should treat you so awfully and lie about your best friend ever again...
'I'm sorry for this, love, but you understand how it is. After all we've been through, you shouldn't just go ignoring me for so long.'
— The Worshipper
At first, it takes a while for him to notice you're trying to give him the silent treatment. It's normal for him to not talk to you for a few days, and just watch from the shadows. He understands that you're a busy person...
It's when he actually makes an attempt at talking to you, and isn't met with the usual chipper response, his world immediately falls apart.
The Worshipper never thought he'd experience heartbreak this catastrophic— all he can think of to justify you not talking to him is that he's being punished by some higher force.
You're his everything, and now you're being taken away from his watchful eye. It's as if his life is crumbling around him.
All those times he told you he loved you, over and over and over, and like his anxieties told him, it was not enough to keep you.
(In reality, you just needed a short break from his advances, but your lack of clarification made him immediately assume that you never wanted to see him again.)
So he makes himself scarce— if his darling doesn't want to see him, he simply won't be seen! Whether that means confining himself to complete solitude, or keeping an even further distance and keeping himself from looking directly at you.
The only way to get him to stop avoiding you is to seek him out, and have a long talk about it all.
The majority of his side will be apologies, and asking how he can repent for acting so overzealous with you— but it's a conversation nonetheless.
— The Queen Bee
• The Queen Bee's starting to regret letting you into her friend group— sure, it may have been an efficient way of raising your status, but now you have people to talk to when you're avoiding her!
'That's just not right at all,' Anya thinks, 'I'm flawless! Even if I slipped up on something, I always make sure to make it charming...'
Above all else, the silent treatment makes her frustrated. Nobody's ever been able to keep it up for long, not her parents, not her friends, nobody! So why were you heing so difficult?
There's no way she'll let her plan be derailed by you not talking to her, she'll try her hardest to find other ways to communicate and make out that the two of you are still together.
Your phone gets blown up on your social media one morning, only for it to be something a little concerning. You knew Anya was rather manipulative when she wanted to be, but this was next level...
People throughout the school had found your personal account and were messaging you with flurries of questions— you didn't even know half these people by name!
What she had orchestrated was a rumour that you had cheated on her, and that's why you were acting strange— but always playing the angel, Anya 'forgave you' for it and you're still in a relationship.
The both of you knew it was completely false, but it was either swallow your pride and talk to her again as if everything was normal, or deal with harassment from all the people who were already jealous of your unearned idol-like status.
The Queen Bee is terrifyingly smart sometimes, but her ecstatic smile when you speak to her again is genuine.
— The Fanclub
★ The moment you don't respond to a text from one of them it's panic— so you can imagine the chaos that ensues when you stop talking to BOTH of them.
You're meant to be! They're meant to be with you! What's gone wrong? What have they done?!
One awful group panic attack later Aurora's managed to get Fortuna in a more comfortable state, but she's not responding outside of nodding or shaking of her head.
Aurora gets angry, and Fortuna gets analytical— a bad combination for you, to say the least.
Borderline kidnappings were common, but Fortuna's got your schedule down to a T, so it's not at all difficult for them to actually stage a full abduction this time.
Aurora has you tied up tight while the other waits patiently in another room, trusting her partner to take care of the situation.
'Why are you doing this to us?' She asks, straightforward with tears brimming in her eyes. She just wants answers.
After you explain that their most recent endeavours were a push a bit too far and made you uncomfortable, Aurora's violent demeanour dampens a bit. She's still a bit aggravated about it all, though; your silence did hurt her girlfriend as well as her.
'You've got to forgive us, you- you have to! You're going to eventually, one way or another so... Just do it, already!'
You can see they've gotten a bit desperate— maybe your silent treatment was a bit too harsh for them.
They were right though, you'd forgive them eventually.
— The Deity
∞ Nitai is already clingy as all hell, so he simply refuses to let you go until you aknowledge him again.
Whatever he did to annoy you, he knew he could make it better— if only you'd let him!
It occurs to him that it might not even be him annoying you. That it might be a build-up of several stresses, and his possessive nature was the breaking point.
If that's the case then... He has to get rid of all those little stresses, so you can go back to focusing all your energy on him!
He's never felt so anxious about anything before, so until you start praising him again he needs an outlet... Murder is an outlet of sorts, yes?
He'll return to your home in the middle of the night, blood soaking his favourite comfy shirt, and cozy up to your sleeping body in some sort of messed-up ritual dedicated to you.
He'll be gone by the time you wake up.
The Deity's main form of coping will come in reminding you of his power— he'll shower you in gifts until you can't ignore him at all!
He can't lose his angel to such a petty disagreement, he refuses.
'My beloved, please, you know how much I need your sweet voice to soothe me. Don't be selfish, now...'
— The Anomaly
As per the agreement, you have to spend time with them. This makes things even more awkward.
The Anomaly does not show empathy to anyone but you, his assignment, so they don't understand why you're so upset over the latest incident.
The silent treatment won't effect them at all; Yvetan knows you don't have a choice but to stay at the facility with them.
As long as they can keep watch of you, and keep you away from the other creatures in the building, they're happy watching you in uncanny silence.
Hours upon hours spent in that room in quiet would drive any normal person mad, so Yvetan tries their best to entertain you, knowing that you won't respond.
'You know, human, it's rather nice having you in here so frequently. You are so much more fun to look after when you're not talking about your work— we should do this more often, yes?'
You'll likely end up more frustrated than they are, so the argument passes quickly.
— The Idol
## The Idol is a bit dense about these things, but picks up on your attitude immediately. You're not the first person to pull this on him.
Jamie being Jamie, he's still going to ignore your personal space and sidle up beside you any chance he gets; but now it's more out of hoping you'll talk to him again than embarrassing you.
Even if you scolded him, that would be good enough to relieve him.
As per usual, he'll abuse his power so that you're not allowed out of whatever filming location you're at. That way you're stuck with him, no matter how you act.
He knows he did something to cause this but... He does a lot of stuff you take issue with, so The Idol isn't sure which one he should apologise for— or if he should even be apologising at all.
'Babyyyyy....' He whines, resting his head on your shoulder, 'What was it this time? C'mon, pleeeaaase?'
You being unable to leave Jamison's vicinity makes it difficult to fully ignore him, but you can at least keep up not talking to him as much.
You're legally his assistant, so he uses that to his advantage as well, making you escort him short distances just to keep touching you and asking you questions.
'What's up next? Oh, a dress rehearsal? You don't mind helping me get dressed again, do you? You know how difficult all those little pieces are...'
It doesn't bother him too much, but he does miss the sound of your voice, and what he hates most is the little noises you make when frustrated or embarrassed by him.
If you keep it up for long enough (more than two days, really) he might get annoyed and be a bit more forceful.
'What's your problem, out with it.' He speaks, pinning your wrists to the walls of his dressing room. 'Was it when I fired that guy for talking to you? You know that was just cause he's a creepy old dude, right? No? Was it the time when I-'
He's trying his best to figure out what caused your silence, but he just ends up digging himself a deeper hole by listing all his crimes against you.
When you do start talking to him again, he acts like it's no big deal, but the days afterwards are filled with him drawing out all of his conversations with you and near-constant toying with you.
