I hate the way people are being about this. Yeah, she looked upset because her boyfriend, who she presumably loves and supports, and his team were losing the Superbowl. What, did y'all expect her to look happy about that? Or excited? And the people who are saying that she's going to go MAGA because Travis Kelce said, and I quote, "It’s a great honor, I think, no matter who the president is. I’m excited because it’s the biggest game of my life and having the president there — it’s the best country in the world — and that’s pretty cool.” Note that he didn't say he supports Trump. He made a very diplomatic statement referencing the office of the President of the United States of America. In the leadup to the election he was out here liking social media endorsements of Kamala, and guys, last year when the Chiefs won Fox News was losing their goddamn minds over how Taylor and Travis were bad and woke - largely based upon his vocal and personal support of the Covid-19 vaccine, I guess? And how he's never endorsed Trump? (I can say this with confidence because my client at the time was a Fox News junkie and I saw that shit with my own eyes.) And as for Taylor going MAGA - lol. Guys, she's been VERY public about being a Democrat since 2018 when she came out guns blazing against Marsha Blackburn. There's a whole ass documentary that goes into how much she regretted not making a statement against Trump and why she was going to get political going forward - which she absolutely has done. I'm not a Swiftie - I enjoy her music, I would love to go to a concert of hers just for the experience, and I admire her as a brilliant business woman who's built herself up into being an international icon, but I'm not blind to her flaws and I'm certainly never going to be whatever the fuck a stan is over her. But the levels of misogyny directed at her are, as always disgusting, and the way that people are out here salivating over the idea that she might break up with her boyfriend over his losing a football game is frankly disturbing.

I don't understand people sometimes. I don't understand why people who claim to be feminist and on the correct left side of the political spectrum enjoy bashing a woman who has used her massive cultural platform to oppose Republican politicians and promote feminist and left leaning causes. Like, be better or at least be less gross. Please.
