did they just. have them??? did vaughn just come out of his room like "ok rhys im ready for pandora!!" and he randomly handcuffed the briefcase to his wrist and rhys was like "???? where did you get thos" and vaughn interrupts like "OK RHYS IT SEEMS LIKE WE'RE READY!!! LETS GO DOWN TO PANDORA TO MAKE THAT DEAL. NO TIME TO KEEP TALKING ABOUT THIS"
or like. did rhys have them. did he see vaughn holding the briefcase of money and go "hm. he needs a bit if freakiness to his fit" and just. put vaughn in cuffs??
how did they decide who would be cuffed to the money. because rhys seems like. the infinitely better option here
i mean. come on. rhys has a super strong robot arm and also isnt so small and lightweight that he'd blow away in a breeze, like vaughn would

Christmas Delights
Pairing: Yuta x reader
Genre: blind date, semi-explicit smut
Length: 3.1k
Rating: Explicit/18+ only
Warnings: reader gets set up on a blind date by a friend, not really explicit smut, lots of teasing and flirting, def some oral both f&m receiving but it's not explicitly described. Pretty soft tbh
Authors note: merry sexy Christmas hoes! But especially merry Christmas to @minisugakoobies @kiestrokes @minttangerines @eureka-its-zico & @j-a-nuary 🖤 not beta'd at all really we die like men. It's Christmas so if yall find issues, no you didn't 🖤
Masterlist
You couldn't help but ask, despite the many times your friend had assured you this was not some elaborate prank. “I'm sorry, just… remind me again where you met this totally hot single guy?” You asked, “and why has he just… accepted the idea of going on a date with a total stranger on Christmas Eve, of all days?” you sighed, swiping another layer of lipstain across your mouth. You really wanted this to go well.
“Like I said before, this totally hot single guy works with my sister. When she and I went to dinner the other night, she was telling me about him, and we talked about you and how you're both single. So she asked him if he'd be into a blind date, and he said yes. And so did you. So you're going,” she said sharply, sensing your hesitation.
You rolled your eyes at her tone. “I wasn't going to bail, I was just making sure you didn't find some rando off the streets to take me out on Christmas Eve,” you shot back.
“Fine, fine. But just remember, you’re totally allowed to put out on the first date,” your friend teased. “And you're going to want to fuck this guy. He's hot.”
“Are you legally allowed to say that? Being married and happy in love and all that nonsense?” You teased back, followed by her loud bark of laughter.
“I’m allowed to look, not touch. But you better get going or else you're gonna be late for your hot date!”
You scoffed, snapping your compact shut, “It's like you don't know me at all. I’m at the bar having a pre-date cocktail, and I already turned my location on.”
“Good, now go get laid please,” your friend sighed. The way she pushed the idea of one night stands on you always felt a little like she was trying to live vicariously through you, but you rolled your eyes again and sipped your drink.
“Yeah, yeah, tell your husband I said hello and let me know if he likes my gift,” you said, hearing another peal of laughter before the line went dead.
The bar your date had chosen was gorgeous — teeming with Christmas lights and the smell of pine permeating the air. The soft glow and 40s Christmas music gave everything a romantic air, making you feel like you'd stepped into a dream.
Despite knowing he wouldn't be arriving for another 15 minutes at least, you couldn't help but scan the room for a man with a poinsettia in his front jacket pocket — the thing your friend had told you was the indication of your intended date.
You nearly choked on your drink when a man — a poinsettia clear in his front jacket pocket — walked in looking as if he'd just stepped off the runway. The black coat he wore looked like it cost more than your rent, his hair tousled into perfection, and a sultry smile set on his pretty mouth was enough to have you gaping like a fish.
If you could have thought past your shock, you would have pulled off your scarf and shoved the mistletoe in your bag, and you cursed yourself for not doing so when his eyes found yours. But to your surprise, they lit up with excitement as he sauntered over to you. The crowd seemed to part for him naturally before he slid into the seat next to you.
“Hello, gorgeous, it looks like you're my date. I'm Yuta,” he grinned. You couldn't help but notice he smelled as expensive as he looked, groaning internally at the situation you found yourself in. You introduced yourself softly, making his smile widen. “I'm gonna go grab our table. Will you order me one of wherever you're having and have the bartender add it to our table’s check?”
You nodded and watched him saunter away from you as swiftly as he had come. The wink he threw over his shoulder sent butterflies through your gut as you spun away from him, face heating. You had never felt so out of your depth before — you weren't some shy, wallflower. You simply didn't date because no one seemed worth your time or energy. But Yuta was something else. He had a magnetism to him, but also an easy charm, and you found yourself wanting to put in the energy for him.
With a deep breath, you straightened your spine, finished the last of your drink for courage, and surged forward. He was easy to find, despite being tucked into a corner looking even more attractive, if that were possible. His coat had been shed, hanging off the back of his chair elegantly, and left you staring at his near naked chest in his half unbuttoned shirt.
His smirk was borderline cocky, but you found it incredibly sexy.
“So,” he said as you sat down, “What’s a girl like you doing on her own on Christmas Eve?”
You shrugged, “My friends are all married, and I sent my parents on a cruise for Christmas this year. I was planning on going to my sister's for Christmas Day with my nieces and nephews.”
He smiled and nodded, the smirk still firmly on his face. “Generous and family oriented. Such a good girl. It makes me wonder even more why you're single,” he asked with a wink.
His teasing made you feel empowered to be yourself and be forward with him. “Because I haven't found a man who deserves my time. And why are you alone on Christmas Eve? All your model friends in Ibiza and leave you behind?”
His throaty laugh shot through you, warming you from your toes to your ears. “No one really has model friends, babe. They'll sell you for a job in the blink of an eye.”
You smirked back, “Ah, so you are a model. Does that mean I should leave now and save myself the heartbreak?”
“No, sweetheart. I said no one is friends with a model. I never said anything about being more than friends with one,” he grinned, leaning forward with his chin hammocked on the backs of his crossed fingers, elbows perched delicately on the edge of the table. You felt your cheeks heating as he stared into your eyes. You couldn't look away, caught in the dark abyss of his brown eyes. But he broke eye contact and leaned back in his seat, “Besides, I'm not a model, love. In another life maybe.”
“Well if you're not a model, what do you do for work?” You asked, leaning back in your seat. There was a flicker of surprise and confusion in his eyes for a moment as he hesitated.
“I'm sorry, you don't know?” He asked softly, expression concerned and almost guarded.
“No… should I?” You asked, racking your brain for conversations with your friend, searching your memory for a clue. “I know you work with my friends' sister? But I can't remember what she does. Should I be concerned?”
He looked truly shocked for a moment, but laughed a little to himself and shook his head, reconnecting his gaze with yours. “No, there's no need to be concerned. I was just… surprised. I work with a luxury marketing firm, which is how I know so much about models.”
You nodded in understanding, appraising him critically. Something about his answer felt false but you didn't push. A relative stranger was allowed his secrets, even if it made you curious. But you pushed your curiosity aside and let your hesitation go.
Dinner flew by, charmed and more than a little attracted to Yuta. He was funny, smart, a little cheeky, and overall just annoyingly your type. He paid for dinner and drinks, despite your protest to split the bill, and offered to drive you home when you walked outside to find flurries in the air.
“I swear on my father’s life, I am of sound mind and body to drive you home, even in the snow,” he teased, looping his arm in yours.
“I don't even know your dad! He could be dead for all I know!” You laughed, making him scoff. “Besides, I can just get an Uber and—”
“I will call him right now and you can confirm I am a loving, wonderful son who would never swear on his father’s life without cause,” he protested, pulling his phone out and flicking through apps to get to his contacts. He wiggled his eyebrows at you, his thumb hovering over the contact labeled ‘Dad 💙’.
“Alright, alright, I believe you. No need to wake up your dad to swear on your life. But if you hit so much as one curb, I’m getting out and I'm walking home,” you threatened weakly.
“Don't worry, I'll keep you safe,” he said with a soft smile, tucking his phone back into his pocket and holding his hand out to you. You stared at the offered hand for a moment — eyes sweeping over the manicured nails, gorgeously knobby knuckles on long, slender fingers, and chunky rings — as you listened to your heartbeat in your ears.
You threaded your fingers with his, grinning to yourself as his hand fit in yours comfortably. His skin was soft and warm and without thinking you replied, “I trust you.”
His hand squeezed yours in response, pulling you closer to him.
The short walk to his car was comfortably quiet, you both watching the snow dance through the air and coat the world in a layer of powder while stealing glances at each other.
“My lady, your chariot,” he said, pulling you to a stop in front of an inconspicuously nice car. You rolled your eyes and gave him a playful smile as you slid into the passenger seat.
“My knight in shining Armani,” you teased him back.
“I prefer Louis Vuitton,” he grinned, “But I'll be your knight in shining armor any day,” he said with a cheeky wink before closing the door.
You felt the heat spread down your neck and to your chest as you giggled to yourself watching him saunter around the car, eyes never leaving yours.
The drive to your apartment was short, but it felt like a thousand degrees in his car with one of his hands firmly on your thigh, his grip tightening every so often making you fight the urge to gasp every time. You could see his smirk out of the corner of your eye every time you swallowed the sound.
He easily maneuvered into your parking garage, pulling into an empty space expertly. Time stretched as you contemplated what to do; inviting him in seemed almost too forward but not inviting him in felt like a waste of a perfect first date. Just as you had thought you made your decision, he broke the silence.
“I lied to you earlier,” he said softly, voice tinged with sadness. “Well, I didn't lie but I wasn't completely honest. I do work at a luxury marketing firm, but I don't work with your friend’s sister. And that's not my only job.”
“I don't understand… if you didn't—”
“I'm an escort.” He said, your heart plummeting to your knees. “Not… not all the time. And I've been…. unhappy with it lately. But your friend paid me to take you out tonight, and I almost turned her down but… god maybe I should have. She said you knew about it but when you asked me what I did I-I…” he trailed off.
Your thoughts were racing; the betrayal stung something deep in you and your eyes welled with tears.
“Please, don't cry. I'm so sorry. When I realized, I almost told you. But then I… you just… you wanted to be there. With me. Not because you had any expectations or because you knew it was a paid interaction. And I didn't want it to end. I'm sorry I've deceived you, God I feel so gross.”
“I'm… not upset with you,” you blurted out, making him freeze, eyes cutting over to you in confusion. “I mean, obviously it's not the best information to get after the best date I've ever been on. But it's not your fault. You didn't know, and honestly I wouldn't blame you if you never told me. I'm really just mad that she would go behind my back like this. Am I really that horrible and unlovable she thinks she has to pay someone to pretend to be—”
“Whoa, who said anything about pretending?” He scoffed, squeezing your thigh again. You hadn't realized his hand had remained there. Even more surprisingly, the feeling of it being there hadn't changed. “I'm very attracted to you. And there's nothing wrong with you. There's something wrong with your friend for deciding to betray your trust like this,” he said firmly.
“So… to clarify. You were hired to…?”
“Take you to dinner and have sex with you, yes.”
“But when you realized I didn't know that you decided this was…?”
“A real date, yes. I just… didn't want to not tell you. Because that would feel…”
“Yeah. Agreed. So if this was a real date… do you want to come upstairs?”
His eyes widened as he stared at you in shock. “Are you sure? I swear I don't expect anything and I don't want you to be uncomfortable and—”
“If you’re saying this is real, this date is real, then yes. I'm sure,” you nodded, a smile spreading across your face as you could see the wheels turning in his mind.
Suddenly he stopped, his eyes locking onto yours as he flexed his hand, squeezing your thigh intentionally. The tiny gasp you let out seemed to make up his mind as he surged across the console to press his lips to yours.
It was as perfect as you hoped it'd be; an eruption of sparkles in your chest making you feel breathless. He pulled away after a moment, your mouth chasing after him subconsciously.
“I have one rule, if I go upstairs with you,” he said softly, his thumb coming up to caress your cheek. You nodded, urging him to make his stipulation. “I get to take you out on another date. New Year's Eve maybe?”
“You want to wait that long to see me again?” You grinned, teasing him.
“If it were up to me I'd take you on a date tomorrow. But I'm not in a hurry; I'll wait till next Christmas Eve if it means I have a chance with you,” he said earnestly.
Your heart fluttered, nodding as you pulled back. “Let's go upstairs. I want to see if all this time as an escort paid off.”
He scoffed, powering down the engine of his car as you got out. “Sweetheart, trust me. You'll never experience anyone else like me.”
“We’ll see about that, maybe a refund will be in order. Who knows,” you shrugged, giving him a wink as you sauntered over to the elevator.
You barely made it a few steps before his hand caught yours, pulling you backwards into his chest. “Trust me, you're not gonna want a refund,” he breathed in your ear.
His hands tightening around your hips sent a zing of pleasure down your spine as you entered for the elevator, his length pressing into the small of your back, teeth grazing the side of your neck.
The elevator was torture, his skillful fingers dancing across any shred of bare skin he could find while whispering all the filthy things he had planned, with your permission of course.
It was only when your door closed behind you that you let yourself sink into the sensations. His hands splayed out across your stomach and skirting into the waistband of your pants. “Can I?” He asked, pinky finger circling the button.
A bolt of insecurity lanced through you for a moment, causing you to stammer out, “I-I don't know if I prepared well enough or—”
“Hey,” he said softly, turning your face up to look into his eyes. “There's no comparison, okay? Everyone is different and incredible in their own way. But I, as a man and not as an escort, am so fucking attracted to you.”
You felt your knees go weak, turning around and pulling him to kiss you, hands tugging at his clothes to shuck them off as quickly as you could.
Time seemed to slow as you undressed each other, hands touching and teasing and pleasing. You didn't care about the overturned lamp, nor the clatter of your purse falling on the floor, or the muffled sounds of your respective clothes hitting the hardwood beneath your feet.
All you knew was him; sharp citrus and soft woody permeating the air, sweet mint of his abandoned gum against your mouth, the strength of his hands under your thighs, his breathy voice in your ears asking for directions to your room between gasps.
It wasn't long until he had you moaning and mewling underneath him, wringing orgasm after orgasm out of you, leaving you boneless and satisfied underneath his smirking form.
You fell asleep talking about the future and making plans for a second date, discussing why he wanted to leave his second job behind, and debating on what you should do about your friend. He bid you to sleep on it before making a decision, kissing your forehead as you faded into a dreamless sleep.
You woke with his arms around you, face nuzzled into the back of your neck as he traced his tongue down your skin.
“Merry Christmas, sweetheart,” he said into your ear, voice deep and rough with sleep.
“Merry Christmas,” you hummed back.
“Sleep well?” He asked, moving from behind you, pulling you down to lay on your back underneath him.
“Definitely,” you smiled, reaching up to push his hair back from his forehead. “You?”
“Of course,” he smiled, surging forward to kiss you deeply, stealing the breath from your lungs before pulling back with a smirk. “I am hungry though. Christmas breakfast has always been my favourite.”
“I'm not sure I have anything in my fridge to—” you began but your voice died out with the feeling of his lips trailing down your chest, stomach, and the insides of your thighs.
“You're not going anywhere,” he nearly purred, “I have all I need right here.”
His tongue flattening against your core made you go boneless, and he made quick work of bringing you to bliss no less than three times before you were pushing him away and pinning him to your bed, returning the favour.
When you finally managed to extract yourself from your sheets, followed by his grabby hands and your rolling eyes, he broached the subject of your friend again.
“I really have no issues refunding her. I’m not necessarily cheap but I feel bad considering you're… my… girlfriend? Now?” He asked hopefully.
“Nah, just spend the money on our next date and we’ll call it even,” you smiled, kissing his cheek, “boyfriend.”

anyway on a completely unrelated note (not) wrt prev post and while im on that ajax fanon hater rant energy still.
(Seriously youve been warned. im getting heated)
Just. Im sorry Where the FUCK did the idea that childes constellation has ever "changed" as in. confirmed canon 100% happened. thing. and not just as like. A Normal speculation theory thing whatever like thats not the problem (as much as i dont care for it). but as this Wildly popular widely accepted headcanon for essentially the larger "abyss and trauma whale corrupted and brainwashed my kitten baby pookiemeow and stole his true good celestia approved fate from him at 14" crew whose only "canon" source to my knowledge is basically entirely based on a misreading* of one of his boss drops. fucking come from and why is 4 out of 5 ""theories"" i see about ajax acting like its literally the gospel now and actually hes being torn apart in an inner struggle of trauma and identity between GOOD fate and GOOD destiny when his vision works and BAD fate and BAD destiny when it doesnt because defying celestia and the gods is evil and this does not clash with the themes of gnosticism at all and breaking the shackles of demiurges false divinity and their unjust hold upon humanity is actually just a red herring trust me bro youre not Actually supposed to awaken true divinity within humanity to finally attain freedom for mankind i super pinkie promise uwu
like im just. What. Yes this shit pisses me off but its also just genuinely perplexing and i have. Absolutely no fucking clue HOW its become this widespread. is there a massive fanon ajax fanfic where the constellation changes???? Some fanart comic with 136k likes and 32k retweets on Twitter? where did this COME FROM i dont understand 💀💀💀
*to be very clear. his DEEDS twisting his fate is the concept brought up in the shadow of a warrior item lore. his DEEDS brought on by a will to fight thats been honed over Countless Slaughters. Mind You. literally WHAT deeds and slaughters do you suggest he had accrued at age 14 at the INSTANT he fell into the abyss to his narwhal do you suggest there being???? To be doing some og good fate twisting??? To be ""changing"" his constellation right that instant??? does the abyss or surtalogi or skirk or his narwhal canonically mug ajax' mythical True And Correct constellation at gunpoint 12 seconds into his 5 kilometer fall into the abyss and swap it out for monoceros caeli and dawei told yall this personally???? or can we let this shit rest and agree that the lore of this drop is explicitly About the path hes taken POST ABYSS as a warrior leading him to twist/defy celestias intended destiny for him?????? Leading to him becoming the eye of the storm?? That its a development??? that it began in the abyss right but that isnt some one-off event either????
#sustainers payroll must be handing out mora at a RIDICULOUS rate for all this celestia shilling its incredible#anyway yeah uhhhhhh ill try not to make a habit of this#& like to be clear. idgaf if you Speculate his constellations changed or whatever. if you explore the possibility .#if uou think its interesting and neat i dont have an issue as much as i disagree.#its the way a MASSIVE swath. of childes 'fans' treat this constellation thing as Literal Facts#and start passive aggressive tirades about how it is factually imcorrect for people to have any other take#when its THEIR theories that are completely founded on the assumptkon that a literal headcanon is canon fact#like thats my problem. they dont say 'my theory is childes constellation changed in the abyss'#they literally just go into whatever theory or argument theyre making smd then in like the 5th paragraph#'because his constellation changed this means XYZ is also true' like WHAT#ughhhhhhhhhhhh#delete later

yall are free to interpret the character relationships in my posts however makes you happiest , hell i even encourage it !! but just to clarify— most of my posts arent intended to be ship posts and if its not explicitly obvious in the post or if youre wondering if a post is a ship or not , its better to assume that its not . ( not to say all of them are not ship posts bc the natsumugi ones for example definitely are , but like . the majority arent . i really dont have many ships . you know ? )
#just for the sake of transparency since ive had a couple ppl mistake my posts as shipping stuff ^^;#i really only have a handful of ships honestly i heavily prefer platonic and unlabled ships#txt

kinda tired of always seeing the "waaah Zelda lore and the timeline is so confusing/messy!!"
not really!! you're just inattentive !!
A lot of the connections are either directly stated in the games (Like LoZ 1 and 2. OoT, MM, TP, and WW. WW, PH, and ST, etc) or through meta connections (like how to avoid religious references, Triforce of the Gods was renamed to A Link to the Past because it was written to take place before the events of Zelda 1 and 2 and then A Link Between Worlds getting the name Triforce of the Gods 2 in Japan cause it is a distant sequel to ALttP). Like come on y'all, just pay attention. A full timeline could be formed without looking at the official one ONLY using information in the games and chances are you'd be mostly right.
"Oooah!! but Ganon??!! how does he keep coming back??" Literally always gets explained in games. OoT was his first appearance, Adult timeline: he is sealed away in OoT. breakes free of said seal using the Triforce of Power between OoT and WW (literally stated in the prologue of WW). He is then killed in WW. Child Timeline: OoT is prevented by Link being sent back in time (which we see at the fucking end of OoT) sealed in the Twilight Realm, killed in Twilight Princess. Downfall Timeline, sealed in the Sacred Realm during the sealing war, breaks free of seal in ALttP, killed in ALttP, resurrected in the Oracle games, terrorizes Hyrule in ALBW and LoZ1 and is killed in LoZ 1 like FUCK it is literally shown in the events of the damn games. pay attention!!
Half the shit I see that you all are confused about is due to your own misunderstandings, either cause you didn't understand what was being said or because you just missed it and came up with some interpretation so off base that of course it would confuse you when trying to fit it into the series at large. And half of these misunderstandings wouldn't even be a thing if yall were open to being wrong and changing your interpretation. but alas that's not what we see, instead you blame the games.
No, most of the Ganon appearances aren't different Ganons. they're all OoT Ganon(dorf) EXCEPT FSA and TotK Ganondorf cause OoT Ganondorf is killed in and isn't resurrected but rather reincarnated (as FSA Ganondorf). FSA and its manual even states how Shadow Link is created from the Dark Mirror giving form to FSA Ganon's hatred of a Link who killed him in a past life. Of course it has to be after one of the times OoT Ganondorf is killed for good like how are you all stumbling over this??
No, Zelda doesn't get reincarnated unlike Link. All Zelda's are descendants from each other, but they're not the same person or soul.
NO not all Zelda's are incarnations of Hylia, ONLY SKYWARD SWORD ZELDA IS! They share a blood connection to her through SS Zelda, but they themselves are not Hylia.
No, Twilight Princess isn't a Wind Waker retcon idk how anyone is even coming to that conclusion?? Zelda in OoT makes it VERY clear that Link being sent back seven years and closing the door of time will separate the past and future of OoT, meaning that whatever he does in the past (the child era) won't affect the future already created (the adult era). like this is dialogue said in OoT, read what is being said I'm BEGGING you.
While we're talking about the timeline split...
The Downfall Timeline makes complete sense. Do I think it was what they intended when writing OoT? No. Definitely not. I don't even think they conceptualized it until 2002 or so. But its clear that once they wrote Wind Waker that they realized that the story of the Sealing War matches OoT better (which if you remember, OoT is meant to tell the story leading up to the Sealing War.) in a timeline where Link fails to stop Ganondorf. Otherwise Wind Waker and Twilight Princess wouldn't have been written to explicitly follow the adult and child endings of OoT. As the prologue of ALttP states, Ganondorf entered the Sacred Realm, raged war against Hyrule, becomes the Demon King Ganon using the complete Triforce and was sealed away in the Sacred Realm by the Seven Sages. That doesn't line up with either of the endings we explicitly see in OoT but it sure as hell lines up with what Ganondorf said he'd do if you lose the fight at the top of Ganon's Tower. Yall act like the downfall timeline is some massive horrible failure of writing when its really just the most logical conclusion of what is presented in the games. Never in OoT does Ganondorf obtain the full Triforce. his whole goal in the second half is to kill Link and take the Triforce from him and Zelda. The Seven Sages are there to seal him away, the Sacred Realm is open and has been corrupted by Ganondorf's influence. Hyrule was been ravaged by war. Ganondorf hasn't transformed into the Demon King Ganon yet. Almost everything lines up for the Sealing War, Link just needs to die for it to 100% work because Ganondorf doesn't have the complete Triforce. And he won't get the full Triforce if you win against him. How are you gonna argue that it makes more sense and matches ALttP better if Link wins?
And I've seen way too many people calling TotK a BotW retcon cause of Ganondorf's existence?? Even saw one guy on twitter somehow under the impression that TotK was a prequel? as of the entire game hasn't been advertised as taking place 5+ years after BotW? As if the Castle and Castle Town isn't in ruin? All because Ganondorf is there in human form? Guys, Calamity Ganon is nothing more than Ganondorf's power and hatred leaking from his body as he and Rauru rot underground. Calamity Ganon is essentially the physical embodiment of TotK Ganondorf's goals enacting his will while he remains imprisoned. This is made so clear in his in-game character profile, which also makes it clear that he only broke free of Rauru's seal on him due to the extreme earthquakes and damage that the Calamity caused. It was also fucking obvious ever since the 2019 trailer. This was spoonfed to us and some of yall still missed it? Seriously?
The ONLY extreme oddity in the overarching lore is how BotW and TotK fit in beyond "it's at the end", but even that has a few solid possibilities and isn't anywhere near as egregious as people want to make it out to be. You all want to talk about how you love theorizing and shit but are completely incapable of having a theory deeper than "botw/totk Link and Zelda are romantically involved!!!!"
(^not a dig at zelink at all, I'm just saying that a lot of you so called theorists only try your hand at "theories" that are so strongly implied that they're practically canon rather than trying to solve actual mysteries and questions. you don't want to do any research into the lore and try to piece shit together. something will be even the smallest bit ambiguous and you all tap out)
There's more but fuck I'm not looking to scour the internet to disprove every damn misconception and mistake.
Do I think they planned everything since the beginning? of fucking course not. this is a series with 20 canon games at this point and more on the way. there is absolutely no chance all of this was conceptualized 37 years ago. All im saying is that the overarching lore and connections that have been weaved over the course of nearly four decades isn't the clusterfuck that a lot of you try to paint it as.
#usually i prefer lore discussions to be much more civil than this. with any emotions to a minimum. but whatever i'll give myself a pass once#rant#media literacy is dead lmaoo#this is far from coherent but I'm tired and annoyed so whatever#long rant#“tHe LoRE iS hElD tOGeTHeR bY dUcK tAPE” you're a fool#“tHE gAmEs weRE nEvER cONNeCTeD beFOrE SKYwARd SwORD” objectively false#zelda rant#the legend of zelda#loz#legend of zelda#tloz#Zelda lore

I was thinking about your repost of warnings and being more inclusive to a variety of bodies in ff. Something that pulls me out of a fic so often is hairstyle descriptions. This obviously isn't the same as not being inclusive of different body shapes/sizes or readers of color, but to me its often really gratingly pushes white cishet traditional gender presentation. Like...not all women have long hair (which is my thing) or can have white girl hairstyles. Like why do you have to write about long flowy hair and messy buns so much? This is already really irritating as a person with short hair which is a much smaller deal than physical things you can't change. And I keep thinking that a lot of this language is probably also really alienating to pocs with curly hair. So....ugh!
I really appreciate you being vocal on this topic and I love your blog and your writing so much!
Hair is another one I catch all the time!!! I'm a white woman with loose, wavy curls but I keep my hair short. It's actually short enough that I can't really put it up right now, and while I love the idea of having long beautiful hair, it's just never been something I've been able to achieve because the maintenance alone drives me nuts. And I still have enough hair that it could be grabbed or played with. This is not going to be the same experience a person of color with curls might have!!
It's something that is so frequently overlooked. It's one thing if it's just a line like "He noses at the nape of your neck and smells your hair," because even a person with with a tight textured curl at any length will still have hair to smell, right? And with smut scenes involving hair pulling as a warning, like, I can suspend my disbelief because there's likely an element of fantasy involved. And then there's the matter of reader-insert characters that are explicitly written as POC which!! That's amazing! These characters are written with these traits in mind and that representation is so incredibly important, especially in a fandom that celebrates Korean men while also having a huge issue with white washing.
When it comes to a reader-insert that's intended as neutral, it just seems disingenuous to assume that everyone has long white girl hair that is easily thrown up into a bun at the end of the day. It bothers me in the same way that descriptions of super skimpy clothing do; it's just clear that the writer doesn't really care to have an eye for inclusivity, whether by willful ignorance or by coincidence.
And again, there are points where I can suspend my disbelief! Sometimes the reading experience is immersive enough that I don't even notice, or maybe the character is very specific and those are moments where the character writing is strong enough that I'm just stepping into their experience of the story. But ... there's an intent there. Not every writer approaches things as such, and with that in mind I think we have to approach the convention of a reader-insert character in a different way.
I often feel like I'm talking to the air about this stuff, so I really appreciate you reaching out. Seriously. I think this really important and it doesn't get the attention it needs. Folks will talk openly about the problems, but I don't often see action or change taking place within work. Effecting these changes can be difficult for some writers because they can be so set in their ways, and that's frustrating. They want the fantasy of it all, rather than showing people that it's okay to be desired as they are. I think this is disingenuous; if you want feedback and praise, writing your "fantasies" with more people in mind would probably get more feedback, right? idk, I'm just rambling again at this point 🙃
Anyway, again, I'm really glad yall are reaching out about this!! I'm happy you're enjoying my stories and reading my thoughts :)

a handful of people respond to this like “wELL aCTuaLLy mEdiA IS suPpOsEd to Be AnAlyZed!”
if you’re OVER analyzing media to the point where it’s all you do, you break down every little piece and take things out of context and project your own opinions and assumptions onto it when it’s clearly not what was intended at all - what’s the point? who is that fun for?
now me, i can’t count how many shows ive watched since its conception and started to hate due to poor writing and character developments. you know what i did then? i stopped watching and consuming that media, despite how many years i put into enjoying it.
i agree media is more or less subjective and not all consumers of that media take away the same things
but yall do too fucking much with SJM books. you take explicitly stated texts and twist them to fit your own narrative depending on whether you like or hate a character
and i think it’s weird and annoying. but hey if you wanna do that, that’s fine. but most of y’all project it onto other consumers and try to force your ideologies on them…and that’s a problem.
these books were made for entertainment. you can’t argue that. either you’re entertained or not, leave the ones who are entertained alone.
the fandom is intolerable for a reason
my hot take as to why the acotar fandom is a shit show is because too many people with english degrees infiltrated and cannot read a book simply to enjoy it, they must pick it apart and analyze it to the point of just tearing it, the characters and the author apart. and gullible people adopted that same mindset.
in simpler terms: too many people take it way, WAY too seriously lol. like this series is meant for entertainment. sarah didn’t write classic literature with underlying themes on morals and society that’s meant as think pieces. y’all do too much and can never just enjoy things. you’re like the cinephiles that cannot just watch a movie for entertainment purposes, you need citizen kane otherwise you’re shitting on everything because it’s not up to your snobbish standards

Ahh okie!! Tbh I wanted to interact with you a lot earlier but I was always kinda intimidated by you cause you seemed like the type of person that's v cold and intimidating to strangers but vv sweet and nice to ppl you're close to and I wasn't sure if I'd be accepted
ʕ-᷅ᴥ-᷄ʔ but I guess I was wrong hehe. Andd just out of curiousity (did I spell that right lmao) what's your opinion on minors interacting with 18+ content on tumblr?? I'm asking cause it's smth I've been curious abt (from a content creator's pov) but anyway have a good day! Hehe
I-i come off as cold to strangers? Oh dear 😟
*weak wheeze* whY?
Also. I've expressed my thoughts on this several times but I dont mind discussing. Its a bit long and its 3am and jumbled thoughts but I'll put them under a cut . I also focus on writers, but honestly this is for all content creators, bc nsfw artists have the same issues
The reality is, a lot of us go through a form of sexual awakening/exploration and more often then not, it starts when we're in our teens after puberty. So I don't FAULT minors for seeing out these things, its natural and it'd be hypocritical of me to stand on a soapbox and lecture a minor when I've been watching porn and reading/writing smut since i was before 18 myself.
However.
There's an increasing issue I'm seeing when it comes to people understanding basic boundaries and consent.
While I don't fault a minor for wanting to read 18+ content and the like, there's this culture of underaged peoples lying about their ages to 18+ nsfw content creators in order to interact with them/get into the 18+ spaces they create.
Ive had this happen to me at least 5 times alone since I've made this blog. That's not okay.
There are writers out there that explicitly state that they dont want minors even reading or interacting with their smut works or blogs at all. They, as adults, have every right to do this. They have every right to curate their spaces so that it is only 18+ people interacting with their works/blog as a whole.
There are writers like me who don't try to police who interacts with their works, but ask for the bare minimum that minors do not send them nsfw asks, comments, replies, etc.
These are boundaries that each writer sets and they completely go out of the window when the minors that follow us decide "this sign wont stop me, i can't read" with the boundaries we clearly set.
That is a direct violation of someone's consent. I need people to realize this behavior is predatory.
Just like how it's creepy and wrong and sus for adults to knowingly have inappropriate nsfw conversations with minors, and how we can all agree its predatory in nature, it works in the opposite direction in my opinion, as well.
To carelessly ignore an adult setting these proper boundaries and weasel your way into a space intended for other adults is toxic, predatory, and something that has the potential for legal repercussions against the adults in this situation, even if they didn't know
Its such a problem and I've seen it not only with myself, but fellow writers, and even writing nets having minors lying to slip into spaces not intended for them.
I went on a tangent and honestly I can say so much more about this, but at the end of the day I really feel like there's no inherent harm in being curious and wanting to read nsfw works as a minor, however, if theres an author who's explicitly stated they dont want you reading their works if you're -17, dont want nsfw convos or interactions with people who are -17, etc, the minors on this app really need to learn to respect that.
That, and 18+ writers on here need to stop knowingly and willingly kekeing and having these inappropriate interactions with users on here they know are -17. (The royal) yall should fucking know better and I see some of yall.
There needs to be a long winded conversation about consent and respecting boundaries with this kind-of thing, but yea those are some of my 3am thoughts on it
#i have...so many more thoughts on this shit but my brain is already lagging#seomisaho#asks#fie vents

It’s not leeching my man, that’s what parallels are? Links between one thing and another to show the similarities. Also please don’t tell me you think cishet is a slur or something. ‘sides, I don’t think many bb shippers think bs was never romantic, just that it’s not romantic anymore. The cishet dudes also work with a crew that has many wlw on it, so that argument seems redundant to me too
They’re reaches is what they are, because you eliminate key context that differentiates the actual romantic tone of the het ships from what BB actually gets. Ren and Nora were alone and the handhold was done for sole sake of physical contact, and they alrwady have a history where Nora has suspiciously specific denial of them being a couple which makes her feelings for him flagrant, and she reacts by placing her head on his shoulder. BB have a handhold to ease Yangs PSTD shakes and stand together against Adam’s taunts, and again in comfort after Adam’s killed, joined by Ruby no less, surrounded by the rest of the squad.
Its one hell of a reach, silly and desperate to claim Eclipse isn’t romantic anymore just because Sun went to Vacuo and Yang is back. There was nothing within their interactions in the Menagerie arc to suggest their relationship is a negative impact, in fact Blake comes to thank Sun for being as stubborn as he is in trying to help. You’re so desperate to place him in a “friendzone” category to get him out of the way you lose sight of the fact that yes, they ARE friends in that they aren’t officially a couple yet, but nowhere does that mean they don’t have a mutual romantic interest which has been established as such explicitly from Volume 3 the moment Blake blushes at his wink and point (this is if you don’t take her going with him to the dance in Vol 2 as evidence enough). Because guess what, Blake and Yang are friends too and not together either but that ain’t stopping yall from swearing they’re in love despite having much less actual tangible evidence. What they went through in Menagerie only makes their relationship stronger, it makes for a better love story BECAUSE Sun isn’t doing it for sole purpose of winning her over but because he’s just a genuine dude that looks out for the people he cares for whether they want his help or not and Blake comes to be so used to his presence she’s reluctant to let him leave. They go through all the typical romantic “meet the parents” tropes imaginable but we’re meant to believe its all one big red herring and the moment he has time away from Blake and Yang is back, despite the baggage in their friendship alone, that this is where the actual intended romance is despite their inability to actually deal with their internal conflict upfront? Nah just brush it aside until they gotta stand up against Adam and they can “fall in love” while Blake is dealing with the grief of his death.
This is where we get to the actual context of Sun’s “it was never about that”: he wasn’t going to try to take advantage of Blake’s vulnerability while she’s busy trying to reconcile with her parents, stop the white fang, and ultimately reconnect with her team and deal with what they find out about the whole Salem/relic situation, by making it about them getting together. At the same time we see that Blake warms up to him greatly in spite of him not aggressively pursuing her. But yall turn around and use that to try to write him off and in the same breath make Blake’s grief over Adam as a springboard for her and Yang to realize love for each other after a half assed reunion and just barely reconciling their friendship, using “representation matters” to fluff it all up. Its hypocritical.

how dare you post things other than lesbian merch...ik theres far more identities but im lesbian and so you need to explicitly post lesbian things despite always being a diverse shopping blog../s im sorry you have to deal with people like that its really ridiculous
I mean requests to post more lesbian stuff is a valid request! it’s just that there’s very few real requests to post lesbian stuff, instead it’s comments belittling shops. but gee how dare I block comments that clearly show no interest in trying to understand why x costs this amount, why x is a stretchgoal on a kickstarter, why can’t shops afford to create x thing that doesn’t get purchased a lot, etc… But yea sure just throw fits instead about how I hate lesbians instead of addressing how much you completely don’t care about small businesses whose owners are often young, poor, mentally ill, disabled, lgbtq+, poc, etc.. and you never actually intended on purchasing something in the first place
idk how many more disclaimers I can put that I don’t make the content I just share whatever’s aesthetically pleasing to me and sometimes even I’m not included i just post whatevers pretty and shiny. anyways like i said if yall want more lesbian content you can submit your favorite lesbian item from a shop and I can post it (depending on if i posted it or not). i also take recommendations for lesbian owned shops. bonus points if they’re a black owned shop, as this month i’m trying to focus on black owned businesses.
thank you!

Hi! I was wondering, what are some examples of lesbian-coded characters in fiction? Whenever i've seen posts about gay-coded characters it's usually about male gay-coded characters, which is good! They deserve to be talked about! But I was wondering who some gay-coded female characters are.
generally speaking when people talk about “gay coded” characters in fiction its from older media during a time when it was actually illegal to show gay characters having happy endings. the bury your gays trope didnt just show up one day, it happened because for a period of time the only way producers were allowed to show gay characters was either if one or both of them died, they became heterosexual at the end, or they had otherwise unhappy endings in an attempt to discourage The Youths from being gay (side note here: making gay characters die doesnt mean fewer people irl are gay its just means they have no positive role models but uh i think we all know that here)
that meant that if directors or producers wanted to represnt gay people with happy endings, they would have to code the character as gay, but not explicitly say they were gay. most of the time this was done with whatever gay stereotypes pervaded at the time - in early hollywood that would be things like having the women smoke and work, the men would be more effeminate, etc. if that was too obvious, it would be “independent women” or men who werent interested in dating.
as a result we dont necessarily get “gay coded” characters today like we used to, because censorship laws no longer prevent displaying gay characters in a positive light. if producers and writers want a gay character, they can just put in a gay character, and there are no rules about how that characters story has to end, although most writers and directors still choose to kill of the gay characters because theyre homophobes but thats a story for a different time
but “gay coding” hasnt necessarily gone away, either, because gay characters are still considered “mature” and cant really be shown in childrens tv shows, books, or movies without outrage from homophobes. so in a way, gay coding does still exist, just on a different level.
i dont really read or watch a lot of media from periods of time where gay characters were required to be portrayed negatively, so i cant really think of any off the top of my head. as far as characters that were gay coded in modern tv shows, janice ian from mean girls was gay coded (tina fey chose not to condemn lebophobic bullying by throwing janice into a shoehorned hetero romance at the end that makes no sense instead of letting janice be the lesbian she was born to be), i have never seen bend it like beckham but everyone talks about all the gay subtext in that, i think velma from scooby doo was actually going to be a lesbian but there was too much controversy over that so they made her straight but she was still gay coded imo, a lot of people see miss honey from matilda as gay coded
for the most part, i think most of the “gay coding” people talk about in modern media doesnt actually fit the technical definition of “gay coding” which was a system set up to defy to censorship laws by deliberately having characters flag as gay without forcing them to have unhappy endings. most of what we call “gay coding” today is not intentional by the writers (who will almost always adamantly defend the heterosexuality of their characters) but is instead an interpretation by the viewers, which doesnt necessarily decrease the value of the characters, but it does show authors true colors when they get very upset about their viewers interpreting the characters differently than the writers intended (im sure yall saw the supergirl debacle thing, it was all over my dash)
it does, to me, show an interesting disconnect between straight people and understanding the gay experience, however, for example, many lesbians see twilight and relate to bella heavily (bc shes a lesbian lol), mostly because bella’s experiences and emotions often match up very similarly to their own. while stephanie meyer will defend the Pure Heterosexuality of her precious characters, it doesnt change the fact that there are a lot of points in the twilight series that are very typical to lesbians experiencing lots of internalized lesbophobia: bella was never interested in dating until some Magical Unattainable boy came up, who then became Less Unattainable, who was Unlike Other Men, whose abusive behaviors she (unknowingly) misinterpretted for love, when in reality she confused her desire for male approval because of her father’s poor parenting that she got through edward as actual romantic love. the female characters she did connect to (alice, angelina, even rosalie if you look closely, wow im remembering more of these names than i thought i would) were all much healthier relationships, and in some ways closer than most friendships tend to be (if you interpret it that way) in the same way many lesbians confused romantic love for platonic love for their friends. when viewed through that lense, seeing bella as a lesbian who hasnt come to term with her lesbianism yet due to being abused as a child and having an abusive boyfriend, it makes a lot more sense than “she met a hot vampire dude who thinks shes great for some reason and now she wants to bone him.” but since stephanie is a shitty writer who doesnt understand the lesbian experience, she will refuse to see it that way and instead protest that no, it really is just a super elaborate love story, not that she doesnt know how to write romance and that she accidentally created a closeted lesbian character in an abusive relationship.
anyway wow sorry for this essay im supposed to be reading my physics textbook now which is why i psychoanalyzed twilight there for a hot second but anyway u didnt really ask for this but thats my hot take for the day
#gay coding#twilight#abuse mention tw#compulsory heterosexuality#i do want to write a more complex post abt bella being a lesbian though#some day#anonymous#ask

wrt your post on davekat shippers: thats like... really insightful holy shit. because i love karkat as an individual character, but come to think of it whenever i think about davekat, i dave-orient it because thats just the content im used to i guess? but, karkat has his individual problems he needs help working through, his own part in the relationship, all sorts of dynamics everyone brushes over. anyways just giving thanks because its good to remember when im writin :0
omg i was so nervous when i first opened this bc i was worried i was like .. way more unkind in my original post than i remembered being and had this brief instantaneous thought of like ….@ Me Calm Down
now i wish i had taken the time to like … articulate myself better instead of just venting but i guess i could just do that in this reply instead
tbh i have that exact same problem where i consider their relationship dynamic from dave’s perspective by default, and i think thats probably common, especially since he is SUCH a big fave and his chara dev, thought process / perspective, Emotions And Feelings were right up at front. like, it’s fair that he’s not the only one and i think those logs were good ones to have, but i also believe that like .. proportionally speaking .. he got an unfair amount of attention compared to Literally Everyone Else Present (which i wouldnt want to take away, i just wish there was more to go around for everyone else)
what i think happened, because of this, is that there was a big shift in people’s perceptions of dave (i seriously swear to god im not vaguing anyone in particular this really is just my like … thoughts and feelings and whatever) which basically solidified a general trend that his character had already been headed towards, of “way way soft with plenty of emotions and actually needs a lot of care & support” etc. like compare 2016 dave strider with like … 2012 dave strider. it’s truly Somethin Else
and this is not a bad thing! but it’s just so prominent right before the ending, it’s incredibly easy to be like “this chara whomst i adore deserves so much love and support, and like … what a coincidence … his loving bug husband is Right There …. Thank Goodness”
the only thing about this that bothers me is that a lotta content just stays right there, and the fact that karkat can help him implicitly feels like the most significant thing about their relationship, even if that’s not what was intended, to me it feels like that’s what happened, though gradually
i guess the implication that dave strider is Ptsd Georg relative to the rest of the cast w their own massive fuckign problems that they also deserve love&support with is … like …. idk man it just feels unfair. and i always think back to the GO timeline conversation karkat and dave had (that one) where dave like .. fell ass-backwards into talking him thru his Anxiety & Assorted Pessimisms and im like … wheres THAT ? give me more of THIS please, …. despite my salt i actually love those assholes so much & like .. idk i truly yearn for content where they Explicitly Clearly Both support each other thru their like trauma and neuroses and shit. in their own slapdash jackass ways obviously
(TANGENTIALLY RELATED: i promise yall that karkat is supposed to be funny as hell … Make Karkat A Genuinely Clever Piece Of Gargbagt Again … manifests in the clouds like an ominous mufasa apparition REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE. A SMARMY GOTTAMN SHITHEAD)
also tangentially related: @fourthreetwofuckyou combat me right now
#SHE GLANCED OVER AND YELPED#''DAMN HOW LONG IS THIS POST?''#I HAVE A LOT TO SAY !!#''ten years later you Finally finish the post'' KINDLY REMOVE YOURSELF FROM MY ASS (I LOVE YOU) YOU LITERALLY BROUGHT THIS UP TO ME FIRST#call out post for my wife#Anonymous

OUGH but like
I think abt that prism interaction so much cause its such like a rabbit hole in my brain that you reawakened. (This may get further from the original post than I intend to, I'll try to keep it in line)
"like I rember when we first met! When i was first taking care of- crimson was all like 'ahh i want to be evil', cobalt was like 'im a grump', and you would just be like 'i see all of time i am englightened papapappa'. I dont know what happened to that, it was wierd, almost like something happened to yall" (purple)
Which sticks out in my brain for a couple reasons, but the main one to me is
Cpu kerfuffle is like a distinctly, Nurture over Nature show or at least seems like it? The difrence between Order and Susan was how they were raised but mainly the choices they make, like biologically they are exactly the same explicitly. Therapuppy in Ncct 3 even says ". . .I dont think they were created just to be evil. Noone is. The act of harming others isn't something people are born into doing. . ." In refrence to Chartruse and Crimson explicitly.
So the Line from prism is strange, i dont think we know if they ever had a proper child state but we do know she had a strong hand in who they became today yet she's saying the traits were already there. Prism is a enforcer of the narrative and yet her statement goes against a pretty constant theme in cpu k. It doesn't help that their powers all lean twords their titles both their ascended ones and the ones we first meet them with
Her zen/spacey energy she used to have was a reasault of her powers (Time) and the fact certain uses of her power physically harms her (Tragedy) but something at least to prism has shifted. I think personally the shift is them becoming more humanoid ig? Showing more humanoid traits like wanting family or connection, things which the gods are supposed to be devoid of by design
"I just thought we could be a family for once but guess I was wrong Cobalt"
"I dont understand how you dont understand this, we're gods."(27) Cobalt says this as if the concept of them bieng gods forcefully seperates them from being more familial twords each other accoding to him.
This shift is more hilighted by chartruse as she's here in 27 with both of her brothers activly trying to be what most consider a functional family. When a couple episodes earlier she didn't even tell people they existed. The only reason she revealed she was related to crimson was due to her bieng angry over dr. Order and apperently didn't elaborate as folk had to push her on it later.
This is typically where i get myself stuck in a loop so I'll try to explain where my brain goes the best i can
A. The way the gods are described before cpu k and the concepts they seem to lack point to them bieng more eldritch in nature, more biengs than people. Which makes sense, but then what is prism seeing here? She would be projecting what she wanted from them before they were even considered people, seeing what she wants out of their actions until eventually she took action. Anything can be Calm or Evil or Grumpy if you look at their actions through a certain lense. In purple she's litteraly looking at the world through diffrent lenses and seeing how it changes using 3d glasses.
B. They did already show these traits as a natural end conclusion to the cards they were given. Not born sad or evil but adapting to the powers they already had. seeing all of time making chartruse Zen at first and then the pain people using her power making her more prone to anger later on. Crimsons ability to full control other people being a inherently (as we know it at least) bad/evil action. And Cobalts ability to balence everything and his also inherent anger when things go out of wack making him grumpy. Prism then just pushed and hightened these traits until it was all they were, and is uncomfertable at the positive change them interacting with mortals has had since her control is slipping.
Both answers make sense to me but are also contridictory in my brain but I tend to lean twords A.
Prism both having Chartruse be her favorite from the begining due to the traits she already exhibited and Prism already liking the traits she wanted chartruse to have whether she actually had them to start out or not, makes sense to me.
Sorry if this is more like rant esk, I tried to make it as concise as I could but im not the best at it.
Yknow whats kinda funny? that Chartreuse gets angel-y imagery (like the roman numeral clock halo, and the whole 'time sand' death thing for doomed timelines being kind of reminiscent of 'smiting enemies into pillar of salt' style angel stuff) where her brothers are referenced as demon-y (crimson being directly called a demon more than once and cobalt being directly compared to The Devil at least once,) but out of the three of them shes kind of the scariest if you pay enough attention and give it a good long overthink

Fam you are literally correct. I’ve seen the original post last week and all the way back then there was already like 5 reblogs from OP saying it was a joke since people kept reblogging it (understandably) upset and OP kept clarifying that no, they’re not serious, they just think it would be really funny.
i think it would be hilarious if the first subject to be wholesale banned from tumblr blaze was catholicism
#i am not catholic nor have i ever been#and as i said the last time i reblogged something about this#i understand why people are naturally defensive about these things#hell i am too sometimes#in western cultures christianity has been used as a powerful tool of oppression since forever basically#not to say that it hasnt affected other cultures but its presence is very marked in western cultures#i understand why people instinctively go on the defensive and assume its an attack#but its not - its really not#its no more serious than the ‘my brother in christ’ meme#yes it was made by catholics#but it was made by them explicitly as a joke playing off things that exist in their faith system#poking fun at their own faith system#by ‘proselytizing’ on tumblr of all places#please yall seeing this get spread around like its serious only hurts all parties in the long run#because even the people who are the ones on the defensive are now stressed out and feel like theyre in a more hostile environment#its causing distress and ruining the fun of the new feature bc people think theyre being attacked#its a joke and was always intended to be one#and acting like its a serious attack causes distress for everyone involved
