Wow Roy! Just wow! He has very low people reading skills when he wants something. He's like a steamroller charging full steam ahead flattening everything in his way. I don't think Anya is onboard with this idea. I think he should have at least waited until after he'd dicussed it with Violet and Sonya.

The steamroller analogy is perfect for how Roy operates! Once he wants, or thinks he is entitled to something, it's very difficult for him to take no for an answer. He also tends to have tunnel vision and it's hard for him to see others' POV. And he definitely wouldn't think he has any reason to discuss it with Sonia or Violet bc it's his house, dammit!

I think that if anyone has the ability to make this scheme a reality, Roy does! He has an unshakeable faith in himself and fully believes himself capable of achieving anything he sets out to do. Roy approaches life with the expectation that he can solve any problem that arises and overcome any obstacle that's put in his way and if he can't...well, that's great too because he can turn it into a learning experience!

That's a very diplomatic way of looking at it! But as far as Roy is concerned, if he wants something, he will go after it with everything he's got and won't let anything stand in his way. Which is a) Admirable b) Crazy or c) Entitled depending on whom you talk to ;=). I personally tend to have a quite a bit of admiration for people who can focus so singlemindedly their goals, but at the same time Roy's tunnel-vision and selfishness can be pretty toxic.

Roy has officially lost it. Sonia will never get better with this type of madness going on.

I'm hoping that some sanity can prevail once Sonia is well enough to share her thoughts on the proposal, otherwise things could get very nasty indeed. And yes, Sonia's health must take priority here, something which Roy seems to have completely overlooked!

Dino Thunder’s Mesogog. I really loved the whole Jekyll and Hyde thing he had with Anton Mercer, and the fact that he’s not like the other psychos (as Tommy put it) who wants to take over the world.

Dr. K from RPM. Her traumatic childhood makes me want to give her a big hug...

She was smart enough not only to make Project Ranger and their gear, but also the apocalypse-causing computer virus that made them necessary to begin with. And yet, she’s still empathetic to the Ranger Operators and fought just as hard as they did for her happy ending. Also, she was sick at the violin.

💎: Favorite Zord(s)?

I don’t recall what they’re all called but I really loved the Ninja Storm mechs, especially the main trio’s and Cam’s.

The main three Zords, because they’re just so ridiculously disguised (Dustin’s, the lion, was a Ferris Wheel) and I fancy the idea that Cam gave up halfway through and just did whatever came to him

Cam’s because, well, it’s Cam’s. And it has its own humanoid form.

👑: Favorite Megazord?

The Super Train Megazord from Lightspeed Rescue. Because it’s a fucking massive train that splits up to make a giant mecha. It made trains cool before ToQger ran with the idea. That is all.

Mr Collins, Wes’ dad in Time Force. I mean, yeah, he placed a lot of ridiculous expectations on his kid, and maybe his methods aren’t the best for Silver Hills, but everything he does comes from concern as a father and citizen.

The moment he realized his kid was putting himself in danger, he was genuinely terrified and wanted to get Wes away from it all.

And when he comes face to face with Ransik, the villain his kid is fighting? He didn’t back down, he didn’t even flinch. He dared to talk back at Ransik and it almost cost him his life. You definitely see where Wes inherited his courage from in that moment.

💔: Least Favorite Ranger(s)?

Christ... I hate to say it, but... it’s very hard to separate Will Aston from his total douchebag of an actor. Ever since I heard about what he did I just couldn’t look at Will the same way.

Super Megaforce. Or as I call it, Super Mega Fail...

How can anyone mess up something as epic as Gokaiger? Toei practically spoonfed them by making most of the major tribute eps for Sentai seasons that got turned into PR series!

This afternoon I started reading the update of a story in another fandom (which is for a 19th-century book). Toward the end of the chapter the hero had to explain to his wife what it probably means that she's missed her period twice. I think this is the ultimate expression of mansplaining. And possibly the illustration in the dictionary next to "internalized misogyny."
