being ND in a southerner family is hard
#most of the ND people in my family are heavily repressed or don't believe “in that stuff” or are outcasted#my brother is diagnosed ADHD and I'm just quietly looking at my dad#anyway my point is Im def one of the weirdos of my family but also hide it half the time#to the best of my ability#I think the infodumping about WWE is a good hint#I'm way too embarrassed to ever even mention “hey I'm super crazy about these cartoons too”#btw I am not southerner myself but my family is#not calling myself southerner when I'm from Florida lol

Oh boy I haven't done one of these in a while let's gooooo!!!
1. What DnD class would I like to be IRL?
Probably wizard. The frailty of wizards in DnD is kind of a let down, but let's be real, magic only works the way it does in DnD because, if literally half the shit you could think of was actually ALLOWED, there'd be no reason to play anything else. Plus I love the idea of being a transmutation wizard and just changing small things either about myself or things around me. I think that would be neat.
2. If you could have any power, what would it be?
Telekinesis. 100%. For the same reason I'd be a wizard: there's so much untapped potential lying within the power that's only hindered by the creativity of the user. There's so many both powerful and fun things I could do with Telekinesis that I can't even really list them, so I guess I'll just leave it at that.
3. Favorite games, and why?
As @veari put it, while WoW may be in a disappointing spot, I can't deny that I've been playing it literally since it came out. I wouldn't do that if I didn't love it. And the sad truth is, WoW simply might be coming to its end, which I can't say I'm not concerned or disappointed about, but rather to say I'm impressed that a game that came out in fucking 2005 has lasted as long as it has. I mean, WoW came out at a time when no game company could really put into place a solid MMORPG idea, but Blizzard fucking did it, and it was weird and it was janky but it was FUN and it was SPECIAL and I loved it. And trust me, I have no problem admitting that other mmo's that have come out have been better, but it should not be forgotten that they are better only because they looked to the example of WoW, took what worked, and refined what didn't. WoW hasn't had that same luxury per se, as they've been stuck with the growing pains of a shifting corporation which clashes against it's own developers and the conflicting vision of those developers now versus the vision of those developers that came before them. Another favorite game is the Dragon Age series, which, I could fucking gush over for days if I wanted to do I'll restrain myself, but if I had to summarize why I love: Amazing characters, great gameplay, diverse environments, masterful dialogue, CONTINUITY BETWEEN TITLES, and CONSEQUENCES! On top of all that, there is also the fact that with each iteration of the franchise, you can tell that the devs took what worked, polished it, experimented with new ideas, kept the ones they liked and outright got rid of some of the ones they didn't. Each game LEARNS from the previous one, and you can feel that as you play the series. Ok rant over lmao.
4. Reading any good books right now?
Lmao not really. I mean, I've been enjoying a book for American Revolution class called "Independence Lost: Life on the Edge of the American Revolution," which looks at the southern territories and Florida and they're role in the American Revolution. Of course, if you don't care about either American history or history on general, I can't recommend it lol. It is a pretty good read overall though.
5. What natural element do I associate with the most?
Water probably. I can't really articulate why I feel that way I just do. The water has always been a somewhat sacred thing to me. As beautiful as it is terrifying, as willing to bring life as it does death. It's a constantly changing thing, and yet it is always the same. I like that.
6. Dragon Age OC:
This is Arianna Lavellan and Cullen Rutherford, or rather Arianna and Cullen Rutherford because these precious beans are MARRIED oh yes! My brilliant little mage, fighting dragons and God monsters and still GIVING A DAMN about the people she cares about and those who rely on her. I could blather on about her for hours but I'll spare ya, just enjoy the picture lol.
7. Do I draw/take screenshots/write?
Well, I don't really draw anymore because I don't have the time or the drive :(. Take screenshots? I mean, I guess I do lol. Most of my better screenshots are from dragon age but those are on my computer and im on my phone atm. Writing? I've... Written a single short fic for @veari OC's Veari and her father but that was like 2 years ago and this waaaaay back in my profile lmao, so if you're interested go check it out I suppose.
Well that was alot, alot of fun, but alot.
